折り畳み式の物干器としては、下記特許文献1、2に示すように、中間部を支点に2つ折りの状態に折り畳み可能な矩形状の枠本体が、チェーンやワイヤー等を介して吊手に吊持されるようにしたものが周知である。

このような折り畳み式物干器は、枠本体が、対向する端縁が枢着されて互いに開閉自在な一対の枠体により構成されており、各枠体の下面側にチェーン等のピンチ吊持部材を介して複数のピンチが吊持されている。そして、使用持には、吊手を物干竿等に係止して、枠本体を開いて水平に配置した状態で、各ピンチに洗濯物等を挟持させる一方、不使用時には、洗濯物を取り外した状態で、枠本体を2つ折りに折り畳んでコンパクトに収納できるよう構成されている。

しかしながら、上記従来の折り畳み式物干器では、枠本体を2つ折りに折り畳んだ際に、一対の枠体間において、ピンチ、ピンチ吊持部材及び枠体等が干渉して、枠本体をコンパクトに折り畳むことができず、嵩張って収納や保管を効率良く行えないばかりか、外観体裁が悪くなるという問題を抱えている。

上記目的を達成するため、本第1発明の折り畳み式物干器は、対向する端縁が回転自在に連結された一対の枠体を有し、両枠体が連結部を支点に回転されることにより開閉自在に構成された本体枠と、一端が前記本体枠に取り付けられて、その一端を支点に揺動自在な複数のピンチ吊持部材と、前記複数のピンチ吊持部材の他端に取り付けられる複数のピンチとを備え、前記ピンチ吊持部材を、前記本体枠の開閉方向に沿って揺動させるための揺動方向誘導手段が設けられ、前記本体枠を開いた状態においては、前記ピンチ吊持部材が、前記本体枠に対し垂直に配置されるとともに、その状態から前記本体枠を閉じた際に、前記ピンチ吊持部材が、前記揺動方向誘導手段によって、前記本体枠の開閉方向に沿って外側に揺動されるよう構成されてなるものを要旨としている。
