Description

【0001】

[Technical field to which the invention belongs]
The present invention relates to a portable chair / cane that can be used as a walking aid wand and also has a function as a chair.
[0002]
[Conventional technology]
There are occasional occasions to see canes that also serve as portable chairs that are currently on the market, but many of them question their function as chairs. There are many problems in use, such as anxiety about strength and stability, lack of smartness, and heavy weight.
For example, in the "multipurpose chair" described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-37215, the handle portion of the cane becomes a stool as it is, and there is a question in terms of a sense of stability when the stool is seated and comfortable use. In addition, the tripod part is considered to be quite heavy in order to support the weight without a sense of stability.
Next, the "foldable & chair device" described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-25405 is generally weak and cannot support human weight. There is also a single-purpose chair, a dual-purpose chair with a seat like a tray attached and used with three legs expanded, but it is lacking in smartness and I think that it can be used with exaggeration Absent.
[0003]
In an aging society, a cane serving as a simple chair is not only convenient but also expected for health reasons. Potential demand in many fields is expected as tools for fishing and outdoor observation.
[0004]
[Problem to solve the problem]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and has as its object to newly provide a smart chair / cane that is safe and easy to handle and that can be carried at any place.
[0005]
[Means for solving the problem]
The present invention adds a function as a simple chair to the walking aid of the walking aid, which is the original purpose, and a main body portion that becomes a leg when used as a chair, a grip for a cane, and a seat for a chair. The present invention relates to a multi-purpose cane composed of arms.
The main body of the cane has a column at the center and a plurality of legs surrounding the column, and a pedestal that fixes the column and serves as a support at the upper end of the leg is provided.
The pedestal serves as a support to which a pair of arms that expand the seat surface in the horizontal direction are attached by hinges.
A spring and an operating rod are built in the support, and the operating rod operates up and down an opening / closing tool connected by a link rod inside the leg to open and close the leg in conjunction with this movement. In order to fix the leg along the column when the leg is used as a cane, a gripping tool is provided below the connecting rod for reeding and fixing the leg.
The portable chair having this structure is easy to operate, lightweight, safe, convenient to carry, and can be provided at low cost.
[0006]
[Embodiment of the invention]
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail.
FIG. 1 is a front view of an embodiment of a chair / cane according to the present invention, in which the arm 1 and the legs 4 are opened when used as a chair. When using this chair / cane as a cane, as shown in a partially longitudinal side view in FIG. 2, the upper pair of arms 1 is closed and grasped, and the lower three legs 4 are moved along the support 5. Close it into a stick (wand body) to make it a cane.
When used as a chair, as shown in FIG. 1, the two arms 1 at the top of the main body are each opened in a substantially horizontal direction, and the seating surface 2 sandwiched therebetween is developed into a seat. In order to deploy the legs, the gripper 10 is pulled down to release the restrained leg 4, and the opening and closing device 9 and the link bar 8 which are lifted up by the spring 6 expand the leg 4 in a horizontal direction, thereby expanding the leg 4 into a tripod shape. The main body is a leg that supports the seat.
[0007]
A sheet is stretched over the cross bar 1a over the arm 1 and the arm 1 is opened in a substantially horizontal direction to form a seating surface 2. The pair of arms 1 are attached to the pedestal 3 by hinges. When the arm 1 is set upright, the arm 1 sandwiches the seat 2 and serves as a cane grip. Although not shown, the grip can be wrapped with leather or a plastic grip cover can be integrated and fixed as appropriate. The pedestal 3 plays a role of supporting the load when the weight is applied to the seating surface 2 by opening the arm 1 horizontally.
[0008]
The main body of the cane comprises a support 5 and legs 4 surrounding the support 5. Although three legs 4 are shown, the present invention is not particularly limited thereto. In the case of three legs 4, the pipe is divided into three parts vertically, and the cross section of each leg 4 is arc-shaped. This is because when the legs are closed, the plurality of legs 4 are wrapped around the columns 5, and have a columnar shape, so that they look good as a cane, are strong, and have many advantages in use.
The support 5 incorporates a spring 6 and an operating rod 7, and a through hole for the operating rod 7 is provided at the bottom.
In order to deploy the legs 4 in a tripod shape, a link 6 and an opening / closing tool 9 that moves up and down by the force of a spring 6 and an operating rod 7 built in the column 5 are used. The operating rod 7 is made thinner than the through hole of the opening / closing tool 9 having the same diameter as the column 5, but the lower hinge portion 7a is thicker than the through hole, and the gripping tool 10 is attached to the lower part again. .
By pulling down the gripper 10 further below the non-slip 4a at the tip of the leg, the leg 4 fixed in a bar shape is released, and the operating rod 7 fixed in the same manner is released and the force of the spring 6 causes it to move upward. Pulled up in the direction. In conjunction with this, the opening / closing tool 9 is also pushed up to the bottom of the column 5 by the hinge 7a of the operating rod, and the link rod 8 pushes and expands the leg 4 in the horizontal direction to become a stable tripod.
[0009]
FIG. 2 is a partial longitudinal sectional view showing a state where the chair / cane of the present invention is used as a cane. As described above, the pair of arms 1 are vertically assembled to be integrated, and a cover or the like (not shown) is attached to make the handle of the staff stick.
In order to make the tripod-shaped leg 4 closed and rod-shaped, the gripping tool 10 is pulled down to the tip of the anti-slip 4a attached to the tip of the leg, integrated, fitted into the gripping tool and fixed, thereby forming a single rod-shaped cane. Becomes the main body. At this time, the tip of the non-slip 4a and the contact surface of the gripper 10 are brought into close contact with each other, and a gap is provided between the opening / closing device 9 and the operating rod hinge 7a. This is a measure to prevent the impact from the ground by the leg 4 when used as a cane and to prevent the opening / closing tool 9 and the link rod 8 from being adversely affected.
This fixing method using the gripper 10 allows the legs to be opened and closed with a single touch, does not inadvertently open during use, is safe as a walking stick, and is convenient to carry.
The adjustment part 11 can be inserted into the gripper 10, and the length of the cane is adjusted according to the needs of the user who uses the adjustment part 11 with a short length. The butt at the tip protects the adjusting part and serves as a slipper.
[0010]
FIG. 3 is a plan view of a state in which the arms 1 are opened in the horizontal direction as viewed from directly above.
The seat 2 opens and a seat is formed.
FIG. 4 is a view of the IV-IV line of FIG. 1 as viewed from above. A link rod 8 is mounted between a switch 9 having a through hole in the center of which an operating rod 7 can move up and down and a support 8a of the leg 4, and the leg 4 is developed into a tripod. In this figure, the link rod 8 is set obliquely so that the leg 4 can be easily pushed and spread in the horizontal direction inside the narrow leg body (see FIG. 2). And the opening / closing tool 9 were connected. The spherical portion also has an advantage of dispersing a large load concentrated here. Instead of a sphere, it may be a round bar, or both ends of a single bar may be simply bolted or pinned.
In this figure, three legs 4 are used, but it is not always necessary to be limited to three, such as four or six.
[0011]
[The invention's effect]
The chair / cane of the present invention having the above-described functions and structure can be formed into a single bar, and can be used safely in a formal place without giving strangeness to others. The overall structure is simple and lightweight, and can be converted with a single touch when used as a cane or as a chair, making it easy to carry and easy to use.
