【0040】
推定SOC(j)←(推定SOC(j)−推定SOC(Mn))+SOC(5)
【0041】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a hybrid vehicle, and more particularly, to an internal combustion engine and an electric motor capable of outputting power to a drive shaft connected to drive wheels, and charging of electric power obtained by using a part of the power output from the internal combustion engine. And a power storage means capable of supplying power to the electric motor.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as this type of hybrid vehicle, there has been proposed a hybrid vehicle in which power from an engine is converted into torque by a generator and a motor and output to a drive shaft connected to drive wheels (for example, see Patent Document 1). In this hybrid vehicle, when the required power (the amount of operation of the accelerator pedal) required by the driver is small or when the vehicle speed is low, the operation of the engine is stopped, and only the motive power from the motor is used by using the electric power of the battery. , The operation of the engine in a region where the operation efficiency is deteriorated is avoided to improve the energy efficiency. Also, when the required power required by the driver is larger than the maximum output that can be output from the engine, the driving performance is improved by outputting assist power from the motor to the drive shaft in addition to the power of the maximum output of the engine. I am planning.

[Patent Document 1]
JP-A-12-78705 (FIG. 1)
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In such a hybrid vehicle, running performance may not be sufficiently exhibited. Generally, a battery that exchanges electric power with a generator or a motor is managed so as to be in an appropriate power storage state. However, as described above, the engine and the motor are driven by the required power requested by the driver and the running state of the vehicle. Since the output mode is determined, the state of charge of the battery may not always be an appropriate state of charge depending on the driving mode of the driver. At this time, if the state of charge of the battery is stabilized to a low state, the running performance of the hybrid vehicle is not sufficiently exhibited.
[0005]
An object of the hybrid vehicle of the present invention is to maintain the power storage state of a power storage unit that supplies power to an electric motor that outputs power to a drive shaft in a more appropriate state. Another object of the hybrid vehicle of the present invention is to maintain the power storage state of the power storage means in a state where the traveling performance can be sufficiently exhibited.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems and Their Functions and Effects]
The hybrid vehicle of the present invention employs the following means in order to achieve at least a part of the above objects.
[0007]
The hybrid vehicle of the present invention
An internal combustion engine and an electric motor capable of outputting power to a drive shaft connected to drive wheels, and charging of electric power obtained by using a part of the power output from the internal combustion engine and supply of electric power to the electric motor are possible. A hybrid vehicle comprising:
Electric traveling range setting means for setting the electric traveling range with a changeable range,
When the operation by the driver and / or the state of the vehicle belongs to the set electric traveling range, a first operation mode in which only the power from the electric motor is output to the drive shaft is set, and the operation by the driver and / or Operation mode setting means for setting a second operation mode for outputting at least power from the internal combustion engine to the drive shaft when the state of the vehicle does not belong to the set electric traveling range;
Control means for controlling the internal combustion engine and the electric motor so that the vehicle is driven in the set operation mode;
The gist is to provide
[0008]
In the hybrid vehicle of the present invention, the first operation mode in which only the power from the electric motor is output to the drive shaft using the stored power of the power storage means, and the second operation mode in which at least the power from the internal combustion engine is output to the drive shaft Since the electric travel range used in the setting is set with a changeable range, the state of the power storage means can be maintained in a good state. As a result, the driving performance can be sufficiently exhibited regardless of the driving mode of the driver. Here, the “operation by the driver” includes an accelerator operation by the driver, and the “state of the vehicle” includes a driving state of the vehicle such as a speed and an acceleration of the vehicle and a charging state of the power storage unit. The state of the car is also included.
[0009]
In such a hybrid vehicle of the present invention, the electric traveling range setting means may be means for setting the electric traveling range based on the setting mode of the first operation mode. With this configuration, since the electric traveling range is set based on the setting mode of the first operation mode in which all of the power output to the drive shaft is covered by the stored power of the power storage unit, the power storage unit is maintained in a better state. Becomes possible. In the hybrid vehicle according to the aspect of the present invention, the electric traveling range setting means may be means for setting the electric traveling range based on a setting frequency of the first operation mode.
[0010]
Further, in the hybrid vehicle according to the present invention, the hybrid vehicle further includes a storage state detection unit that detects a storage state of the storage unit, and the electric traveling range setting unit sets the electric traveling range based on the detected storage state. Can also be used. With this configuration, the state of the power storage unit can be maintained in a good state based on the detected power storage state of the power storage unit.
[0011]
In the hybrid vehicle according to the aspect of the present invention, the electric traveling range setting means may be means for setting the electric traveling range such that the state of charge of the power storage means becomes a predetermined appropriate state. With this configuration, the power storage state of the power storage means can be maintained at a predetermined appropriate state by setting the electric traveling range. In the hybrid vehicle according to the aspect of the present invention, when the state of charge of the power storage unit is higher than the predetermined appropriate state, the electric traveling range setting unit sets the electric traveling range in a direction in which the range becomes wider, When the power storage state of the power storage means is lower than the predetermined appropriate state, the power travel range may be set in a direction in which the range becomes narrower.
[0012]
Further, in the hybrid vehicle according to the present invention, the electric traveling range setting means may be a means for selecting one from a plurality of electric traveling ranges having different preset ranges. In this case, the electric traveling range can be set by simpler processing.
[0013]
The hybrid vehicle according to the aspect of the present invention further includes a power storage state estimating unit that estimates a power storage state of the power storage unit when the vehicle is assumed to be operating in each of the plurality of electric travel ranges, and the electric travel range setting is performed. The means may be a means for selecting one of the plurality of electric traveling ranges based on the estimated power storage state so that the power storage state of the power storage means becomes a predetermined appropriate state. With this configuration, it is possible to select an electric traveling range in which the state of charge of the power storage unit is appropriate based on the state of charge of the power storage unit estimated for each of the plurality of electric traveling ranges. In the hybrid vehicle according to the aspect of the present invention, the electric traveling range setting unit is a unit that selects an electric traveling range in which a power storage state closest to the predetermined appropriate state is estimated from the estimated power storage states. It can also be. In the hybrid vehicle according to the aspect of the present invention, the power storage state estimating means changes the power storage state of the power storage means based on the required charge / discharge power required for the power storage means and the required power required for the drive shaft. It may be a means for estimating.
[0014]
Further, in the hybrid vehicle of the present invention, the second operation mode may be an operation mode in which power from the internal combustion engine and power from the electric motor are output to the drive shaft.
[0015]
Further, in the hybrid vehicle according to the present invention, the hybrid vehicle has three shafts respectively connected to the output shaft of the internal combustion engine, the drive shaft, and the rotation shaft, and power input / output to any two of the three shafts. Is determined, the three-axis power input / output means for determining the power input / output to the remaining one axis, and a rotating shaft motor connected to the rotating shaft may be provided. Alternatively, the first rotor includes a first rotor connected to an output shaft of the internal combustion engine, and a second rotor connected to the drive shaft and rotatable relative to the first rotor. It is also possible to provide a paired rotor motor capable of inputting / outputting electric power by an electromagnetic action between the rotor and the second rotor.

Subsequently, the map number j is set to the value 1 (step S152), and it is determined whether or not the driving mode is set to one of the charging / discharging driving mode and the power assist driving mode in the driving control routine of FIG. (Step S153). If it is determined that the traveling mode is neither the charging / discharging traveling mode nor the power assist traveling mode, the process proceeds to step S150 using the motor traveling mode determination map y (j) corresponding to the map number j as illustrated in FIG. It is determined whether or not the required power Pr * and the vehicle speed V input in are within the range of the motor running mode (step S154). If it is determined that the required power Pr * and the vehicle speed V are not within the range of the motor driving mode (step S156), the charge / discharge request amount Pch (j) * of the

When the charging / discharging current Ib (j) is calculated, a value obtained by integrating the calculated charging / discharging current Ib (j) is added to the reference value SOCo, and an estimated value of the remaining capacity SOC of the battery 50 (hereinafter, this estimated remaining capacity SOC Is referred to as an estimated SOC) (step S162).
[0038]
Then, the map number j is incremented by 1 (step S164), and the processing of steps S154 to S164 is repeated until the calculation of the estimated SOC for the motor drive mode determination maps corresponding to all map numbers j is completed. (Step S166). That is, it is determined whether or not the required power Pr * and the vehicle speed V are within the range of the motor travel mode for each motor travel mode determination map associated with the map number j and correspond to the motor travel mode determination map. The remaining capacity of the
[0039]
Thereafter, it is determined whether or not the time for updating the motor drive mode determination map has been reached (step S168). In this embodiment, the update timing is set to about 10 to 30 min after the previous update of the motor drive mode determination map. If it is determined that the update time has not been reached, this routine is terminated. On the other hand, when it is determined that the update time has been reached, the estimated SOC estimated for each motor drive mode determination map is corrected using the following equation (5) (step S170).

For example, as shown by the solid line in FIG. 6, the previous use map number Mn is 3, and the estimated SOCs respectively estimated in the motor driving mode determination maps corresponding to the
