Abstract
Description
【0001】

【0064】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a reception channel number display device that detects a signal leaking from a television receiver and displays a reception channel number of a program being received by the television receiver.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a television receiver is initially purchased and installed, and thereafter, an operation panel provided on a main body of the television receiver, a remote controller attached to the television receiver, and the like are operated, and The reception channel frequency (reception channel frequency) and the reception channel number (reception channel number) set for each are adjusted so as to match.
[0003]
Television receivers are roughly classified into two types, a frequency synthesizer type television receiver and a voltage synthesizer type television receiver, depending on how to adjust the reception channel frequency and the reception channel number.
[0004]
A frequency-synthesizer type television receiver means that the reception channel can be set by specifying the values using the operation buttons on the operation panel provided on the main body of the television receiver or the remote control attached to the television receiver. A reception channel number setting screen for setting a reception channel (a screen displaying numerical values while displaying a received program) can specify a reception channel number currently being received. The voltage synthesizer type television receiver can set a reception channel by pressing a channel setting button for a predetermined time (several seconds) or more on a reception channel setting screen for setting a reception channel.
[0005]
Further, as a technique related to the setting of a receiving channel of a television receiver, for example, an “automatic television channel detecting device” (see Patent Document 1) and a “tuning device” (see Patent Document 2) are disclosed. "Automatic channel detection device" relates to a technology for automatically detecting a reception channel (tuned reception channel), and "tuning device" refers to a reception mode (TV broadcast and TV broadcasting) of a television receiver (tuning device). The present invention relates to a technology for automatically setting a mode for receiving a CATV broadcast.

[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventional configuration, in order to confirm (specify) a reception channel number on which a program being received by a television receiver is being broadcast, an operation button provided on an operation panel of the television receiver, There is a problem in that it is necessary to change the screen displayed on the television receiver to a reception channel setting screen and confirm it by operating a remote controller attached to the receiver, which is troublesome.
[0008]
For example, many frequency synthesizer television receivers display a remote control number, a screen display number, a reception channel number, and the like on the reception channel setting screen, so which number indicates the reception channel number. Is difficult to determine at a glance, and it takes time and effort to read the instruction manual attached to the television receiver or come to a person who is familiar with the receiving channel setting of the television receiver.
[0009]
In addition, in the voltage synthesizer type television receiver, only by looking at the reception channel setting screen (a screen displaying numerical values while displaying the program being received), the program currently received by the television receiver is determined. The receiving channel number cannot be specified. In other words, the currently received reception channel is estimated from the program (contents of the broadcast screen) received by the television receiver and the television column (program information) published in newspapers, television magazines, and the like. However, in an area where the same program can be received on a plurality of reception channels (for example, in an area where the same program is broadcasted by a VHF broadcast wave and a UHF broadcast wave and in an environment where the same program can be received), which program is received. It was difficult to know whether the program was being broadcast by channel number.
[0010]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problem of the conventional technology, and to easily specify a receiving channel number of a program being received by a television receiver without trouble. It is an object of the present invention to provide an apparatus and a reception channel number display method.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention has the following configuration to achieve the above object.
The reception channel number display device according to
[0012]
According to this configuration, the receiving channel number display device receives the local oscillation signal (leakage local oscillation signal) electromagnetically radiated from the television receiver by the local oscillation signal receiving means, and outputs the local oscillation signal by the detection signal output means. The frequency component of the signal is output as a detection signal. The reception channel number display device specifies the frequency of the local oscillation signal when the detection signal detected by the detection signal output unit is equal to or more than a predetermined value by the reception channel number specification unit. The reception channel number of the program being received by the television receiver is specified based on the comparison result obtained by comparing the frequency of the local oscillation signal obtained and the reception channel number information, and the reception channel number specified by the reception channel number display means is specified. indicate.
[0013]
The receiving channel number display device according to claim 2, detects a frequency component of a local oscillation signal of a receiving channel corresponding to a program being received which is leaking from the television receiver, and based on the detected frequency component, detects the receiving channel. A receiving channel number display device for displaying a receiving channel number assigned to the receiving channel number, a local oscillation signal receiving means, a frequency converting means, a detection signal outputting means, a receiving channel number specifying means, and a receiving channel number displaying means. And a configuration including:
[0014]
According to this configuration, the reception channel number display device receives the local oscillation signal (leakage local oscillation signal) electromagnetically radiated from the television receiver by the local oscillation signal receiving unit, and receives the received local oscillation signal by the frequency conversion unit. The frequency conversion is performed by mixing the oscillation signal and a reception channel frequency signal having a lower frequency than the frequency of the reception channel. With this frequency conversion means, the frequency component of the local oscillation signal can be made lower than at the time of reception. By reducing this frequency component, the circuit configuration when actually configuring the detection signal output means can be simplified. That is, a circuit configuration that handles low-frequency components can be more easily implemented than a circuit configuration that handles high-frequency components.
[0015]
Subsequently, the reception channel number display device outputs the result of frequency conversion by the frequency conversion means by the detection signal output means, that is, the frequency component of the local oscillation signal from the frequency spectrum as a detection signal, and the reception channel number identification means Compare the detection signal with a predetermined value defined in advance, and if the detection signal is equal to or greater than the specified value, that is, if the peak value of the frequency component is equal to or greater than the specified value, specify the frequency of the local oscillation signal, The receiving channel number is specified based on the result of comparing the frequency of the local oscillation signal with the receiving channel number information. Then, the reception channel number display device displays the specified reception channel number by the reception channel number display means.
[0016]
The reception channel number display device according to
[0017]
According to this configuration, the reception channel number display device outputs an error display signal when the reception channel number identification unit cannot identify the frequency of the local oscillation signal or when the reception channel number cannot be identified based on the comparison result. Is output to the reception channel number display means. Then, the reception channel number display means performs display based on the error display signal.
[0018]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the receiving channel number display device according to any one of the first to third aspects, the receiving channel number specifying means sequentially changes the receiving channel number. And a receiving channel number that broadcasts the program is specified by the all channel search.
[0019]
According to this configuration, the reception channel number display device executes an all-channel search in which the reception channel number (for example, from 13 ch to 62 ch) is sequentially changed by the reception channel number specifying means, and leaks from the television receiver. Based on whether or not the frequency component of the local oscillation signal being detected can be detected by the detection signal output means, the receiving channel number on which the program is being broadcast is specified.
[0020]
A reception channel number display device according to
[0021]
According to this configuration, the reception channel number display device uses the frequency match degree display means to match the frequency of the local oscillation signal specified by the reception channel number specification means with the frequency included in the reception channel number information. Is displayed. For example, the frequency matching degree display means is an indicator constituted by a plurality of LEDs having different colors, and is capable of grasping the degree of matching at a glance.

[0060]
In general, a television receiver (not shown) is provided with a television receiver to extract a program (television signal) of a desired reception channel from radio waves (video carrier and audio carrier) received by an antenna (not shown). The frequency conversion is performed by a tuning unit (not shown) in the receiver, and the signal is converted into a signal having an intermediate frequency of 58.75 MHz lower than the frequency of the video carrier. At this time, in addition to the intermediate frequency signal of 58.75 MHz, a weak signal of the frequency of the video carrier + 58.75 MHz is radiated from the frequency conversion circuit. This weak signal leaks from the television receiver to become a local oscillation signal (leakage local oscillation signal), and the reception channel

【The invention's effect】
According to the first and second aspects of the present invention, the reception channel number of the program received by the television receiver is specified using the local oscillation signal leaked from the television receiver. The user of the apparatus can know the reception channel number of the program being received without any trouble.
[0067]
According to the third aspect of the invention, when the frequency of the local oscillation signal cannot be specified, or when the reception channel number cannot be specified based on the comparison result, an error display signal is output to the reception channel number display means, Since the reception channel number display means performs display based on the error display signal, if the user of the apparatus cannot specify the reception channel number, the program (contents of the broadcast screen) being received by the television receiver ) And the TV channel (program information) published in newspapers, TV magazines, and the like, the currently received channel can be estimated, and the channel can be adjusted.
[0068]
According to the fourth aspect of the present invention, an all channel search for sequentially changing the reception channel number is executed, and the reception channel number on which the program is being broadcast is specified by the all channel search. For this reason, the user of the device can easily specify the reception channel number of the program being received by the television receiver without any trouble by simply pressing the all channel search switch of the device. .
[0069]
According to the fifth aspect of the present invention, the user of the apparatus checks the level of the leaked local oscillation signal when specifying the reception channel number of the program currently being received by the television receiver. Can be.
