【従来の技術】
画像形成装置において、給紙トレイは、紙サイズを指定することができるが、その指定した紙サイズをユーザーが認識する方法として、給紙トレイ前面に、サイズが印刷されたデカル一式より、各給紙トレイの段数を表示するデカルを貼り付け、その上から指定するサイズのデカル３ｂを貼り付けている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
図４は画像形成装置の給紙トレイにおける従来の表示部材を示す概略図である。画像形成装置の給紙トレイは、紙サイズを指定することができるが、その指定した紙サイズをユーザーが認識する方法として、給紙トレイ前面に、サイズが印刷されたデカル一式３より、各給紙トレイの段数を表示するデカル３ａを貼り付け、その上から指定するサイズのデカル３ｂを貼り付けていた。

この方法によって、「１段目の給紙トレイにはＡ４縦、２段目はＡ３」等と、ユーザーが給紙トレイの指定された紙サイズを表示させていた。しかし、この方法では、ユーザーの都合により紙サイズを変更した場合、一度使用したデカルを剥さなければならず、剥した場合には再度使用することができなくなり、給紙トレイの紙サイズ変更の回数に限りがあった。

前記の課題を解決するために、請求項１記載の発明では、画像形成装置の給紙トレイにおいて、転写紙サイズが記されているサイズ表示部材がカード形体をなし、前記サイズ表示部材を簡易に取り付け・取り外し可能な保持形体を有する画像形成装置の給紙トレイを最も主要な特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面により本発明の実施の形態を詳細に説明する。図１は本発明に使用する画像形成装置を複写機として一般的に示す概略斜視図である。図１には各給紙トレイの段数を表示する従来のデカル３ａを貼り付け、その上から指定するサイズのデカル３ｂを貼り付ける形で示している。
