Description

【0001】

[Industrial applications]
The present invention relates to a joint gasket that is fitted into a joint formed at a connection portion of an outer wall of a building and has both flood prevention and flame shielding.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As shown in FIG. 12, as a fireproof or flameproof material at the joint M of the outer wall W of the building, a steel plate K is interposed between the frame F and the outer wall W. FIG. In addition, the case where the gasket G is provided on the joint M of the outer wall W, and FIG. 14 is the case where the sealing material S and the gasket G are provided on the joint M of the outer wall W. As shown in FIG. 15, there is a type in which a joint M of a frame F is filled with a non-combustible material R such as glass wool or rock wool, and a gasket G is provided outside the room. Further, in Patent Document 1, FIG. 16 illustrates a gasket G in which a core material S is inserted into a lip L closest to a room for the purpose of preventing the gasket G from dropping from a joint.
[0003]
[Patent Document 1] JP-A-8-60754
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, when the steel plate K shown in FIGS. 12 to 14 is interposed, the mounting of the steel plate K cannot be pre-installed in the factory with respect to the frame F and the outer wall W, and it takes time and man-hours since it is installed on site. there were. In addition, in the case of filling the non-combustible material R shown in FIG. 15, it is possible to pre-install in the factory, but the material is too soft to be easily inserted and installed. There was a problem that it took a long time to process joints due to additional steps. Further, in the gasket G shown in FIG. 16, since the core material S having a large rigidity is inserted into the lip L on the indoor side of the gasket G, the insertion workability is poor and the gasket G is inclined in the joint. There was a problem.
Therefore, in view of such conventional problems, the present invention embeds a flame-retardant plate-shaped core material in a seal lip of a joint gasket in order to achieve waterproofing and flame shielding, thereby facilitating attachment to the joint. An object of the present invention is to provide a joint gasket that can reduce the number of steps and time.
[0005]
[Means to solve the problem]
In order to achieve this object, the structure of the present invention is, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 11, fitted to a joint M formed at a connecting portion of an outer wall W of a building to prevent infiltration into the inside of the building and to prevent flame. A joint gasket 1 made of rubber or rubber-like elastic material to be inserted, in which a plurality of seal lips 3 are provided from both sides of a central column 2 toward an end face w of an outer wall W, and a plurality of seal lips 3 are provided. At least one of the upper seal lips 3 on the outdoor side excluding the lower tier, a plate-like core material 4 having a flame-shielding property is provided over substantially the entire surface in the width direction and the longitudinal direction of the joint gasket 1. Buried,
The plate width h of the plate-shaped core material 4 embedded in the seal lip 3a is formed to be slightly larger than the width H of the joint M.
[0006]
【Example】
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, an outer wall W is stretched outside a frame F of a building, and a joint gasket 1 is fitted into a joint M formed at a connection portion between them.
The joint gasket 1 is formed by extruding a rubber or rubber-like elastic body, and seal lips 3 are respectively provided on the both sides of the central column portion 2 so as to protrude vertically and horizontally in three steps toward the end face w of the outer wall W. A core member 4 of a steel plate is buried in the seal lip 3a at an intermediate stage except the innermost lower stage over substantially the entire surface in the width direction and the longitudinal direction of the gasket. The steel sheet of the core material 4 is a strip-shaped steel sheet having a thickness of 0.01 mm to 0.4 mm such as a galvanized steel sheet or stainless steel, and the sheet width h is formed to be slightly larger than the width H of the joint M. When the joint gasket 1 is fitted into the joint M, the seal lip 3a is contracted so that the seal lip 3a can always be pressed against the end face w. The reason why the core material 4 of the steel plate is not embedded in the lowermost seal lip 3 on the indoor side is to avoid the steel plate having a large rigidity and to use only the rubber or the rubber-like elastic body to facilitate the insertion into the joint M. The material of the core 4 may be another kind of metal or a flame-retardant hard synthetic resin.
[0007]
When the joint gasket 1 is fitted into the joint M of the outer wall W, the seal lip 3a is pressed against the end face w because the reaction force is large due to the elastic deformation of the metal having high rigidity of the core member 4, and the seal lip 3a falls off from the joint M. Is prevented. FIG. 3 shows a case where the sealing material 5 is fitted to the outside of the joint gasket 1 fitted to the joint M, and the waterproofness is further enhanced.
[0008]
Further, even if the width H of the joint M is widened in the event of a fire, the steel plate of the core member 4 is formed so as to have a large width h, so that the steel plate remains unburnt, and the elasticity of the seal lip 3a is retained by the joint M, and the flame shielding effect is obtained. Is exhibited. When spring steel is used instead of the steel plate, the holding property to the joint M is further enhanced.
Joint gaskets 6 and 7 shown in FIGS. 4 and 5 are modified examples having substantially the same operation and effect as the joint gasket 1. Each of the joint gaskets shown in FIGS. 6 to 11 is slightly different in the number and shape of the seal lip, but the core material 4 is embedded in one upper seal lip 3a except for the lowermost step on the indoor side. This is a modification having substantially the same operation and effect as the joint gasket 1.
[0009]
[Effects of the present invention]
In the joint gasket of the present invention, a plate-shaped core material having a flame-shielding property is buried over substantially the entire surface in the width direction and the longitudinal direction of the gasket in the seal lip of the upper stage except the lowermost stage on the indoor side. This eliminates the need for separate steps of waterproofing and flameproofing as in the prior art, so that it is easy to attach to joints, and the number of steps and time is reduced.
