Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a removable disk device having an optical reading and recording mechanism such as a CD-ROM and a DVD, and more particularly to a dynamic vibration absorber for a high-speed rotating type optical disk device having a device thickness of 20 mm or less.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The optical disk device is capable of exchanging disks due to its feature. For this reason, variations in the solids of the disk, variations in the center of rotation and the center of gravity caused by eccentric attachment to the drive motor, and the like, that is, imbalance occur. When the disk rotates in this state, the amplitude of the rotational vibration caused by the imbalance increases in proportion to the square of the rotational speed. The increase in the vibration amplitude causes the apparatus to vibrate greatly, giving the user uncomfortable feeling, and the positioning of the recording / reproducing unit cannot be performed, which is a serious problem when speeding up data transfer. In particular, an optical disk device having a thickness of 20 mm or less (hereinafter, referred to as a slim optical disk device) is lighter than an optical disk device having a thickness of approximately 40 mm (hereinafter, referred to as a half-height optical disk device), so that the vibration problem becomes more serious. . For example, a half-height optical disk device weighs about 1 kg, while a slim optical disk device weighs about 200 g.
[0003]
When the disk rotation speeds are the same in both devices, the vibration amplitude is simply inversely proportional to the mass, so that it can be easily estimated that the vibration amplitude of the slim optical disk device is about five times that of the half height optical disk device.
[0004]
In order to solve such a vibration problem, as a related art, a main frame for mounting a spindle motor for driving an optical disc to rotate and a pickup for reading the optical disc, a housing for accommodating the main frame, There has been proposed an optical disc reproducing apparatus including a first elastic body that elastically couples the main frame and the housing, and a subframe that is coupled to the main frame via a second elastic body (for example, And Patent Document 1).
[0005]
According to this conventional technique, an edge around the main frame is elastically supported on the housing via an elastic member as a first elastic body, and a second elastic body is formed on the main frame as a second elastic body. The structure is such that the sub-frame is attached via the second elastic member. The main frame and the sub-frame have a plate shape made of metal or the like, and are connected to each other by an elastic body whose axis is in an out-of-plane direction.

It is to provide a configuration.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]

In an optical disc device in which a unit mechanism having a motor for rotating a disc-shaped disc and an optical head for reading information on the disc is attached to a disc tray by an elastic body,

The unit mechanism cover is connected to the unit mechanism with a spring and / or rubber,
An optical disc device comprising a dynamic vibration absorber comprising the spring and / or rubber and the unit mechanism cover functioning as a mass point.
[0010]
Further, in an optical disc device in which a unit mechanism having a motor for rotating a disc-shaped disc and an optical head for reading information on the disc is attached to a disc tray by an elastic body,
Providing a unit mechanism cover that covers an optical head guide mechanism for guiding the optical head and a part of the optical head,

A dynamic vibration absorber is constituted by the spring and / or rubber and the unit mechanism cover functioning as a mass point,
An optical disc device in which a main vibration axis of the spring and / or rubber coincides with a vibration direction of the unit mechanism cover.
[0011]
Further, the optical disk device has an apparatus thickness of 20 mm or less.

Next, a method of designing a dynamic vibration absorber will be described. The spring constant and damping ratio of the dynamic vibration absorber can be determined from the following equations. Assuming that the dynamic vibration absorber shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is mounted on a personal computer, it can be regarded as a three-degree-of-freedom vibration system. FIG. 5 is a schematic diagram of a three-degree-of-freedom vibration system when a dynamic vibration absorber is mounted on a personal computer according to the present embodiment. FIG. 7 is a diagram showing vibration of the optical disk device when the mass of the dynamic vibration absorber is variously changed when the damping ratio of the optical disk device is fixed. 6 and 7, the vertical axis represents the device vibration value (the vertical axis represents the output vibration value when the input vibration is 1), and shows that the effect of the dynamic vibration absorber was exhibited at 1 G or less. The parameters shown in FIG. 6 indicate the number of rotations of the disk.
[0024]
In FIG. 7, the dynamic absorber, mainly the unit mechanism cover, is more effective as it is heavier. However, in this embodiment, it is desirable to be as light as possible, assuming that it is mounted on a lightweight slim optical disk device. Since the dynamic vibration absorber is desirably 10% or less of the mass of the optical disk device (about 200 g), the mass of the dynamic vibration absorber is 20 g or less. In addition, if the vibration of the apparatus is targeted to be 1 G or less, the mass of the dynamic vibration absorber must be at least 3 g (in FIG. 7, the mass is 3 and the vibration value is 1). As described above, in the slim optical disk device, it has been found that the dynamic vibration absorber, that is, the mass of the unit mechanism cover is desirably 3 g to 20 g. Since the
[0025]
Referring to FIG. 6, the smaller the damping ratio of the dynamic vibration absorber, the greater the effect. However, in consideration of the above-described dynamic vibration absorber mass, it is desirably 0.005 or less. However, since the damping ratio of the spring is at least 0.001 or more, the design range of the damping ratio is 0.001 or more and 0.005 or less. For example, referring to FIG. 7, if a damping ratio of 0.01 is selected, the mass of the dynamic vibration absorber needs to be 50 g (in order to make the function of the dynamic vibration absorber effective). Is too unrealistic for the total weight of the optical disk device to be 200 g.
[0026]
FIG. 8 and FIG. 9 are diagrams showing device vibration when the parameters (resonance frequency, damping ratio) of the dynamic vibration absorber are fixed and the damping ratio and resonance frequency of the vibration isolating leg are variously changed. As can be seen from the characteristics shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the device vibration is hardly affected by the damping ratio of the anti-vibration legs, and the device vibration increases in a linear function in proportion to the resonance frequency. FIGS. 8 and 9 show how the characteristics of the anti-vibration legs are considered after including the vibration absorbing effect of the dynamic vibration absorber. And the resonance frequency.
[0027]
As described above, taking into account the features of the structure of the slim-type optical disc device, the feature of the present invention is that the unit mechanism cover that uses the unit mechanism cover that prevents the unit mechanism from dust and tentacles is used to attach the unit mechanism cover to the material of the dynamic vibration absorber. (Weight), and a spring and / or an elastic body connected to the unit mechanism has a main vibration axis in the direction of the disk rotation plane. As a specific configuration of the present embodiment, it has been found that the dynamic vibration absorber mass is 5 g or more and 20 g or less, and the attenuation ratio is appropriately 0.001 or more and 0.005 or less. Further, the resonance frequency and the damping ratio of the anti-vibration legs may be values in consideration of impact resistance.
[0028]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, when mounting a dynamic vibration absorber on a slim optical disk device having a device thickness of approximately 20 mm or less, the vibration of the optical disk device can be reduced without providing a special space for installing the dynamic vibration absorber. Can be planned.
[0029]
In addition, the dynamic vibration absorber can also function as a unit mechanism cover that protects the unit mechanism from dust, in addition to the function as a mass point (weight).
