上記課題を解決するために、外観が板状を呈しその両板面から光が出る面形蛍光ランプの片板面(甲)から発生する光の一部をもう一方の片板面(乙)に反射し、かつ片板面(甲)側にも、任意の必要な光をのこす反射板を設定する。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1・2を用いて本発明の実施形態について説明する。外観が板状を呈しその両板面から光が出る面形蛍光ランプ10を備え、前記面形蛍光ランプ10を保持する器具本体20を備え、前記面形蛍光ランプ10をその板面がほぼ水平となるように天井面から吊り下げ、前記面形蛍光ランプ10の上面11側に上向きに出る光42を下向きの光41に転向させる反射板30を配置し、前記面形蛍光ランプ10の下面12側に下向きに出る光40と、前記面形蛍光ランプ10の上面11側に上向きに出る光42を前記反射板30対こより下向きの光に転向した前記下向きの光41により、下面への光量を増加させ、前記反射板30に設けられた光透過部31を介して上向に出る光42の一部を天井面側に透過させる。

【発明の効果】
外観が板状を呈しその両板面から光が出る面形蛍光ランプにおいて、通常任意の被照射面に光を向けられるのは片方の板面から発生する光のみであるが、もう一方の板面から発生する光の一部をもう一方へ反射させ、かつ一部の光は反射させずに使用することにより、各板面より発生する光を有効に使用できる。
