TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an information recording medium such as a tape cassette or a disc which is housed in a case and is wrapped with a film, and a paper film, for example, recycled paper or glassine paper, instead of a wrapping film conventionally formed of plastic. And the like, the environment can be protected, and the printing on the film can be performed by offset printing or letterpress printing.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Information recording media such as tape cassettes and disks are stored in a case and are sold for sale in a state where the case is wrapped with a film.
[0003]
As a method of packaging a case containing an information recording medium such as a tape cassette or a disk, a so-called caramel package is widely used in which the case is wrapped with a plastic film such as polyethylene.
[0004]
However, the packaging that wraps the entire case containing the information recording medium, such as a tape cassette or disk, with a plastic film such as polyethylene naturally requires a large amount of plastic film such as polyethylene, thus saving resources and protecting the global environment. Review is urgently required.
[0005]
Therefore, as shown in FIG. 10, a sealing tape 103 of a plastic film such as polyethylene is wound around a case 102 accommodating a tape cassette 101 as an information recording medium, sealed by a packaging device (wrapper device), and sealed with the packaged tape cassette. The structure has also been developed. (For example, Patent Document 1)

[Patent Document 1]
JP-A-2001-10664 (Claims, Paragraph 0005, Paragraph 0017, Paragraph 0019, Paragraph 0020, FIGS. 1 to 4)
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Incidentally, the sealing and packaging of the polyethylene or other plastic film using the sealing and packaging tape 103 is performed by so-called caramel wrapping with a plastic film of polyethylene or the like. Although the amount can be reduced, the use of a plastic film such as polyethylene is the same as in the case of caramel wrapping.
[0008]
Therefore, it is an object to seal and package a tape cassette which is environmentally friendly without using a plastic film such as polyethylene. In particular, when the plastic film is an OPP film (biaxially oriented polypropylene film), there is also a problem that it is necessary to prevent the film from sticking to the case due to heat generated during heat shrink.
[0009]
An object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems and to provide an information recording medium using a seal packaging tape which is friendly to the global environment.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In an information recording medium stored in a case and the case is wrapped with a film,
By using a paper film such as recycled paper or glassine paper for the packaging film,
It is possible to seal and package information recording media that is environmentally friendly without using plastic films such as polyethylene.
[0011]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
FIG. 1 shows a disc 1 as an information recording medium of the present invention. The disk 1 is housed in a disk storage case 2, and the case 2 is sealed and wrapped by wrapping a sealing and wrapping tape 3 so as to cover an entrance and exit of the disk 1.
[0012]
The sealing packaging tape 3 is formed of glassine paper. Glassine paper is formed by crushing pulp by applying high temperature and high pressure under high moisture, has excellent high density, transparency, oil resistance, moisture permeability, etc., and has unique gloss and shine . The basis weight of the glassine paper, for example, 25.8g / m 2, 30.8g / m 2, 35.0g / m 2, is formed in 40.0 g / m 2, the thickness of the paper is formed in 20~50μm Therefore, it is possible to apply the existing packaging device (wrapping device) for sealing and packaging using an existing polyethylene sealing and packaging tape, and to perform sealing and packaging. The glassine paper is formed to have a transparency of 75.5% (according to the test method, JIS P 8138).
[0013]
The width D1 of the sealing and wrapping tape 3 is formed to be smaller than the width D2 of the case 2 by the glassine paper, for example, about 1/2 to 1/3, and is wound in a roll. ing.
[0014]
As shown in FIG. 2, the sealing and wrapping tape 3 wound in a roll is provided with a film cut portion 4 at a constant pitch (the length of the case 2 being substantially wrapped and the ends overlapping each other) P. An adhesive layer 5 is provided near the film cut portion 4.
[0015]
The adhesive layer 5 is formed by sealing and packaging a hot melt adhesive having a melting point of 60 ° C. to 80 ° C. or more (for example, trade name: Seikadyne 1900W, manufactured by Dainichi Seika Kogyo Co., Ltd.) using a glue plate by a rotary press. It is formed by applying to the tape 3.
[0016]
Then, the case 2 housed in the disc 1 is sealed and wrapped by using the sealing wrapping tape 3 and a wrapping device (wrapper device) for the existing sealing wrapping tape.
[0017]
As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the sealing and wrapping tape 3 is cut by the film cutting unit 4 and wound around the case 2. Then, the sealing and packaging tape 3 heats the adhesive layer 5 with the heater block 6, melts and cures it, and bonds both ends of the sealing and packaging tape 3 to seal and package the case 2. I have. In addition, as shown in FIG. 5, a plurality of cases 2 may be sealed and packaged by overlapping.
[0018]
The heating by the heater block 6 is performed by pressing the heater block 6 heated to 100 to 150 ° C. onto the adhesive layer 5 with a contact time of 0.3 to 0.5 sec and a pressure of 100 to 300 g. At this time, the tension applied to the sealing and wrapping tape 3 is preferably about 600 g.
[0019]
Even when the sealing and packaging tape 3 is wound and sealed and wrapped as described above, there is a concern that the sealing and packaging tape 3 may be displaced and the sealing and packaging effects may be lost.
[0020]
Therefore, as shown in FIG. 6, when the sealing packaging tape 3 is wound directly on the disk cartridge 11, a step 13 is provided in the label sheet attaching area 12, and the sealing packaging tape 3 is wound inside the step 13. Thereby, the displacement of the sealing and packaging tape 3 can be prevented. The corners 14 at the lower ends on both sides of the step 13 are desirably a right angle, but may have a radius of about 0.5R to 1.0R. Reference numeral 15 denotes a shutter slidably mounted on the disk cartridge 11.
[0021]
As shown in FIG. 7, when the disk cartridge 11 is further sealed in a case 2 for sealing and packaging, a step 22 is provided in the case 2 and the sealing and packaging tape 3 is wound around the step 22. The positional displacement of the sealing and wrapping tape 3 can be prevented. The corner portions 23 at the lower ends on both sides of the step portion 22 are desirably right angles as in the case shown in FIG. 6, but may have a round surface of about 0.5R to 1.0R.
[0022]
As shown in FIG. 8, when the disc cartridge 11 is put in the case 2, and what is sandwiched between the label sheets 31 is sealed and packaged, a step 22 provided in the case 21 is provided from one end of the label sheet 31. Of the sealing packaging tape 3 can be prevented by disposing a part of the sealing packaging tape 3 with a predetermined width a (preferably 3 mm or more). As shown in FIG. 1, the width D1 of the sealing and wrapping tape 3 is desirably about 2/3 of the width D2 for a small-sized medium such as an MD (mini-disc), and a video cartridge such as a VHS. Is preferably about 40 to 70 mm in width.
[0023]
Then, as shown in FIG. 9, a plurality of sealed and packaged cases 2 are made of the same glassine paper as the sealing and wrapping tape 3, and have a paper film 41 having the same adhesive layer 5 as the sealing and wrapping tape 3. And packed in caramel, and further put into sub-cartons or master cartons (not shown) for distribution. In addition, the sealing packaging tape 3 may be formed of recycled paper (trade name, Refreshland 70 or Refreshland 100), or melamine resin, urea resin, polyamide / epichlorohydrin resin, polyacrylamide resin, etc. May be used to increase the water resistance and wettability of glassine paper.
[0024]
【The invention's effect】
The present invention has the following effects.
(1) Since a paper film is used instead of a plastic film such as polyethylene, it is possible to seal and package an information recording medium that is environmentally friendly.
(2) By using glassine paper, it becomes thin and has high tensile strength, and sealing and packaging can be performed using a packaging device (wrapper device) for sealing and packaging tape of a plastic film.
(3) Since equipment and electric power for heat shrink, such as the case of using an OPP film (biaxially oriented polypropylene film), are not required, it is advantageous in terms of cost. Further, it is possible to prevent the film from sticking to the case due to the heat generated during the heat shrink.
