本発明は、柄の端部に掃除部材を備えた柄付掃除用具に関し、特に柄の一部がしなる構造を有する柄付掃除用具に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来から、畳、床、タイル等を掃除するための掃除用具として、ほうき、モップ、デッキブラシなどの柄の端部に掃除を行う掃除部材を備えた柄付掃除用具がある。これらの柄付掃除用具は、作業者が立ったまま比較的無理のない姿勢で掃き掃除や拭き掃除を行うことができ、また手の届きにくい場所を掃除する際にも便利なため、広く使用されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、従来の技術では以下の問題点があった。
柄付掃除用具を用いて掃除を行う際、作業者は先ず柄付掃除用具の柄に力をかけて床面に掃除部材を密着させ、続いて掃除部材を床面に沿って動かすといった動作を繰り返し、汚れやほこりを取り除く。この一連の動作自体は単純で労力を要さないが、掃除を行う面（以下、適宜清掃面と称する）が広範囲であったり、作業が長時間になったりすると、単純な動作でも作業者にとっては負担が大きくなるといった問題点があった。

本発明は上記に鑑みてなされたものであって、作業者がより楽に掃除を行える柄付掃除用具を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の目的を達成するために、請求項１に記載の柄付掃除用具は、柄の端部に掃除部材を備えた柄付掃除用具であって、前記柄の一部に他の部位より大きくしなる弾性部を設けたことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面を参照しながら詳細に説明する。図１は、本実施の形態の柄付掃除用具の全体図である。図２は、図１に示した柄付掃除用具のうち柄の一部を拡大した図である。図３は、図２に示した柄のＡ―Ａ′断面図である。

図１に示したように、本実施の形態の柄付掃除用具１は、柄２とこの柄２の端部に設けられた掃除部材３とで構成されている。柄２の素材としては、竹が用いられている。また掃除部材３としては、ほうきの先が用いられている。

柄２には、図１、図２に示したように、掃除用部材３が設けられた側の端部から約６０ｃｍの箇所に、柄の長さ方向に沿って５ｃｍ程度の切れ目４が設けられている。この切れ目４は、図３に示したように、互いに対向するように二箇所設けられている。切れ目４が設けられたことにより、柄２には弾性力が生じ易くなり、柄付掃除用具１の使用時に柄２にかかる力によって曲がる構造となっている。尚、この切れ目４が設けられた柄部分を、以下、適宜弾性部５と称する。
