Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an insect trap used for controlling pests, and more particularly to a simple insect trap which can be disposed indoors to kill cockroaches.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Generally, cockroaches, night moths, flies, aphids, or mosquitoes are known as insects that harm human animals. Of these, cockroaches are insects belonging to the cockroach cockroach family with a flattened body shape, many of which are brown or black-brown and have a luster immersed in oil, and those of residential nature are associated with the movement of humans and luggage. It spreads widely and not only harms foods in the kitchen, but also transmits infectious diseases.
[0003]
Insecticides have been widely used to control such pests. However, pesticides including pyrethroids and pyrethrin have high insecticidal abilities, but they are harmful to the human body. . In particular, since the method of spraying pesticides directly on insect pests has been adopted in the past, the killing amount is small for the amount used, and winged insects with flight properties can escape before spraying insecticide. It often happens.
[0004]
Therefore, various stationary devices capable of attracting and killing pests such as flies have been proposed. As an example, the lower end of the pipe is inserted into a container with an open top, a liquid containing a surfactant is contained in the container, and bubbles generated in the pipe flow down along the outer surface of the pipe from the top of the pipe. There is a pest control device in which flying bubbles are rushed into the foam to kill the insects (for example, Patent Document 1).
[0005]
[Patent Document 1]
JP-A-2003-61540 [0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the pest control apparatus described in Patent Document 1 has a complicated structure and is costly, and furthermore, since the pest carcasses collected in the container are in a full view, disposal of the pests is also accompanied by psychological discomfort. There was a disadvantage.
[0007]
In addition, the above-mentioned conventional apparatus is intended to exterminate flying pests and forms a lump of foam on the outer periphery of a pipe standing upright on a container to attract pests into the foam. It is difficult to control insects that do not have flight properties. In addition, even if a cockroach is a flying insect, it rarely flies indoors and has the habit of crawling around the corner of the room at night, so the extermination rate by the above conventional device is very low compared to flies etc. Met.
[0008]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a simple insect trap which mainly targets cockroaches for extermination and can kill a large amount of them.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the insect trap according to the present invention is provided with an insect trap having a plurality of pits formed on an upper surface thereof, in which a chemical solution containing an attractant component can be stored.
[0010]
Further, the insect container is made of paper made of an outer box having a plurality of pits formed on an upper surface thereof and a tray provided in the outer box, and the tray has a waterproof property to accommodate a chemical solution therein. In addition, the outer box is provided with a protruding piece projecting from the upper edge thereof, and the protruding piece forms a slope on the upper surface of the outer box for advancing pests.
[0011]
Furthermore, a trap container having a built-in tray for containing a medicinal solution containing an attractant component in an outer box having a plurality of pits formed in the upper surface thereof, and a casing containing the trap container, the casing includes the casing described above. A lower base forming a container loading portion for fitting the insect trap is provided, and a canopy installed on the lower base is provided, and an entrance is provided on an outer wall of the lower base to allow pests to enter. An inclined guideway for guiding the pests entering from the entrance to the upper end of the container loading section is formed inside the lower base, and the canopy is provided with an attracting means for attracting the pests. It is characterized by the following.
[0012]
The attracting means includes a light emitting diode and a power supply for lighting the light emitting diode. According to this, the effect of attracting cockroaches who prefer high temperature and high humidity is increased by the heat generated by the light emitting diode, and the light emitting diode consumes less power, which is also an energy saving measure. In addition, the attraction effect can be further improved by selecting the light color of the light emitting diode according to the type of pest to be captured.
[0013]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, application examples of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view showing a preferred example of the insect trap according to the present invention. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a paper trap container, and 2 denotes a casing that houses the trap container. Among these, the insect trap 1 is composed of an outer box 1A having a cubic structure and a tray 1B provided so as to be able to be taken in and out. A plurality of pits 11 for dropping pests such as cockroaches are perforated on the upper surface of the outer box 1A, and the tray 1B can accommodate a chemical solution as described later.
[0014]
In addition, in this example, the drop hole 11 is a rectangle having a length of about 5 mm and a width of about 10 mm, but this may be a round hole. Alternatively, the insect trap 1 may be configured as a single box having no gaps at the ridge line so that a suitable amount of the drug solution can be stored therein without leaking.
[0015]
On the other hand, the casing 2 includes a lower base 2A and a canopy 2B installed thereon. They are formed of a metal plate such as stainless steel. Of these, the lower base 2A is in the form of a rectangular frame with a bottom and an upper opening, and the inside thereof is divided into three by a partition 21. The central region is a container loading portion 22 for fitting the insect trap 1, and a concave notch 23 is formed on both sides of the trap compartment 23 so that the insect trap 1 can be easily taken out. In addition, an entrance 24 for opening a pest is opened in a lower portion of the outer wall of the lower base 2A. In this example, the entrances 24 are formed at the four corners and the center of both ends of the lower base 2A, and the pests entering from the entrance 24 are placed at the upper end of the container loading section 22 in both inner regions of the lower base where the entrance 24 opens. An inclined guide path 25 for guiding is formed.
[0016]
On the other hand, the upper surface of the canopy 2B is formed in a semicircular arc shape, and on both sides thereof are formed convex portions 26 which engage with the cutouts 23 of the lower platform 2A. A rim 27 that fits into the frame is attached. The canopy 2B is installed on the lower base 2A to close the upper opening.
[0017]
FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view showing a state where a canopy is installed on a lower base. As is apparent from this figure, when the insect trap 1 is fitted to the container loading section 22, the upper surface of the trap 1 is substantially flush with the upper end of the lower base 2A, and the upper surface of the trap 1 and the canopy 2B. A gap of about 10 mm is formed between the base and the bottom.
[0018]
Further, as shown in FIG. 2, the canopy 2B is provided with an attracting means 3 for attracting pests. In this example, the attraction means 3 is composed of a light emitting diode 31, a power supply unit 32 (battery) for lighting the light emitting diode 31, and a power switch 33 interposed in a circuit connecting the light emitting diode and the power supply unit. . Although the light color of the light emitting diode 31 is not limited, a red LED is used in this embodiment.
[0019]
Then, according to the above-described attracting means 3, the inside of the casing 2 is heated by the heat generated by the lighting of the light emitting diode 31, and the heat can increase the effect of attracting pests and cockroaches that prefer warm places. However, a heating element such as an incandescent lamp, a fluorescent tube, or a heating wire may be used instead of the light emitting diode 31. Here, in an incandescent light bulb or the like, although the power consumption is larger than that of the light emitting diode, since the amount of generated heat is large, the effect of attraction by heat is high and the effect of attraction by light can be obtained.
[0020]
Next, FIG. 3 shows one end of the insect trap. As is clear from this figure, the end face of the outer box 1A constituting the insect trap 1 has a bent piece 12 and can be opened and closed freely. The tray 1B can be taken in and out by opening one end surface thereof.
[0021]
As shown in FIG. 4, the tray 1 </ b> B has a square shape whose upper part is entirely open, and can accommodate an appropriate amount of the liquid medicine L therein. In particular, the tray 1B is formed by folding one sheet of base paper, and its inner surface is waterproofed by coating a plastic film or the like, thereby preventing the penetration and leakage of the chemical solution L. As a means for imparting waterproofness to the tray 1B, a synthetic paper having waterproofness may be used for the material, or a water repellent may be applied to the inner surface.
[0022]
The drug solution L is a liquid containing an attractant component, and a mixture of an alcohol and a saccharide having an attracting effect on pests such as cockroaches is used as the base solution. Among them, as the sugars, there are used extracts (fruit juice) of fruits such as persimmons, and sugars and honeys diluted with water or alcohol. As the base liquid, it is possible to use a sake containing saccharides, preferably a juice obtained by adding fruit juice. However, since the attractant component varies depending on the chemotaxis (chemotaxis) of the insect, the drug solution is not limited to the one described above, and an appropriate one is selected depending on the capture target. For example, if the capture target is a fly, a chemical solution containing ammonia as an attractant component is effective. In particular, a sex pheromone, a carcass of an insect or a body fluid thereof can be used as the attractant component.
[0023]
Further, it is preferable that the drug solution L contains, in addition to the attractant component, a substance that paralyzes the nervous system of the insect or a substance that has insecticidal properties. The substance that paralyzes the nervous system includes sharp spices such as pepper and pepper, or citrus extract including limonene, and the insecticidal substance includes pyrethroid, pyrethrin, rotenoid, carbamate, and dieldrin. .
[0024]
Here, the operation of the insect trap configured as described above will be described. In addition to the fact that the inside of the casing 2 is gradually heated by the lighting of the light emitting diode 31, only a small amount of the attracting component is emitted from the liquid medicine L in the insect trap container 1. The gas is gradually vaporized, and diffuses from the pit 11 through the casing 2 to the outside. Then, the pests (mainly cockroaches) sniffing this gather around the trap, and enter the casing 2 through the entrance 24. In addition, the pest that has entered the casing 2 crawls up the guide path 25 in search of a divergent source of the attractant component (chemical solution L) and a heated portion by the light emitting diode 31. Then, the pest reaching the upper part crawls on the upper surface of the insect trap 1, and the cockroaches preferring a narrow place repeatedly enter and exit between the adjacent pits 11, and subsequently fall into the tray 1B from the pit 11 and into the chemical liquid L. They will soak and suffocate as they block the respiratory tract.
[0025]
In particular, pheromones and other attractants emanate from the carcass, which enhances the attractant effect. However, if a substance that denervates the nervous system is mixed in the liquid medicine L, the insects can be immediately dropped into the liquid medicine, and those containing an insecticide can immediately kill the pests dropped into the liquid medicine. .
[0026]
Thus, when the inside of the insect trap container 1 is full of the pest carcasses, it is taken out of the casing 2 and the carcasses of the pests are transported to the disposal place together with the insect pests 1 and discarded. Since the visibility inside is poor due to the shielding effect of the upper surface, there is no discomfort.
[0027]
As described above, the application examples of the present invention have been described. However, the insect trap does not limit the kind of the chemical solution, and it is desirable to appropriately select a trap containing an optimum attraction component depending on the capture target. It is preferable to provide the casing 2 as described above, since the casing 2 is disposed at a predetermined place and does not impair the appearance. However, the trapping device can be used only with the trapping container 1 without the casing 2. A preferred example of an insect trap applied to a single use will be described with reference to FIG. 5. This trap is also composed of an outer box 1A and a tray 1B provided therein similarly to the above example. Is formed such that a plurality of pits 11 are drilled, and an appropriate amount of a chemical is stored in the tray 1B. In particular, in this example, the outer box 1A is integrally provided with a protruding piece 13 projecting from the upper edge thereof. The protruding pieces 13 are at both ends of the outer box 1A and have the same width as the outer box 1A. In use, the protruding pieces 13 form a slope on the upper surface of the outer box 1A for advancing pests. is there.
[0028]
According to the insect trap as described above, the trap is arranged at a predetermined place, a slope is formed by the projection 13, and the pest is guided along the projection 13 to the upper surface of the outer box 1 </ b> A. The pest that has reached the upper surface of 1A can be dropped into the chemical solution in the tray 1B through the pit 11 and killed. In particular, in the insect trap 1 as shown in FIG. 5, the protruding piece 13 can be folded on the upper surface of the outer box 1A when transported to the disposal place, and can be disposed of without seeing any dead insect pest.
[0029]
【The invention's effect】
As is clear from the above description, according to the insect trap according to the present invention, the insect trap is provided with a plurality of pits formed on the upper surface, because the medicine containing the attracting component can be accommodated therein, It can attract cockroaches and other pests and drop them into chemicals through pits to kill them.
[0030]
Further, since the insect trap has a simple paper-made structure composed of an outer box forming a plurality of pits and a tray provided in the outer box, cost reduction can be achieved, and disposable disposal is easy. Moreover, since the pests are hardly noticeable due to the shielding effect of the upper surface of the outer box, discomfort during disposal can be reduced.
[0031]
Further, since the outer box is provided with the projections forming the slope, it is possible to promote the progress of the pest to the upper surface of the outer box and to kill a large number of pests.
[0032]
In addition, since a casing for accommodating insect traps is provided, the casing is disposed at a predetermined place so as not to impair the appearance, and the canopy constituting the casing is provided with an attracting means for attracting insect pests. A large number of pests can be attracted by the synergistic action with the attractant component contained in. In particular, since the attracting means includes a light emitting diode and a power supply for lighting the light emitting diode, the attracting effect is increased by the heat generation and light emission of the light emitting diode. Become.
