Description

The present invention relates to an improvement of a swing switch used for various OA equipment, amusement equipment, measuring equipment, medical equipment and the like.

2. Description of the Related Art A swing switch (also referred to as a seesaw switch due to its mechanism) is used as, for example, a power switch of various OA devices, amusement devices, measuring devices, medical devices, and the like. This rocking switch generally has a configuration in which a switch component is housed in a rectangular box (casing) with a bottom and an operation button (operation knob) is mounted in an opening at the top of the box so as to perform a seesaw movement. ing.
Various types of swing switches have been conventionally proposed. In the present invention, a movable contact piece is formed of an elastic member, and the movable contact piece is swingably attached to a movable contact piece support member. The terminal portion (tab terminal) of the one-side support member is pulled out through a corresponding slit formed in the bottom wall of the box, and the fixing contact piece also has the terminal portion (tab terminal) corresponding to the corresponding slit formed in the bottom wall of the box. A movable contact operating element (actuator) that is pulled out to the outside through the through-hole and hangs down from the operation button is integrally formed, and the movable contact operating by the movable operating element that swings in accordance with the swing movement of the operation button. A swing contact configured to swing the movable contact attached to the movable contact to a position in contact with the fixed contact attached to the fixed contact and to a position away from the fixed contact. Tsu relates to an improvement of the earth.

A rocking switch of this type has also been proposed in the past. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a seesaw switch that can apply a large contact pressure between a movable contact and a fixed contact. Patent Literature 2 discloses a terminal fixing structure of a seesaw switch that is free from a risk of contact failure and contact welding. Patent Literature 3 discloses a seesaw switch that can surely separate a fixed contact and a movable contact when the contacts are welded. However, a compression coil spring different from the swing switch to which the present invention is applied is used as the movable contact piece operator. Patent Document 4 discloses a seesaw switch having a dustproof structure. However, a compression coil spring different from the swing switch to which the present invention is applied is used as a movable contact operating element. Patent Literature 5 discloses a terminal caulking structure of a seesaw switch in which displacement of a terminal position or a contact position is unlikely to occur during caulking. However, a torsion coil spring different from the swing switch to which the present invention is applied is used in combination with the movable contact piece as the movable contact piece operator.
Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 5-1870 Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 6-35333 JP-A-8-55542 JP 2001-195555 A Japanese Patent No. 3224949

The swing switch of the prior art disclosed in the above-mentioned patent document is not easy to integrate the terminal portion of the movable contact support member and the terminal portion of the fixed contact piece into the box, and to fix the terminals. Sometimes it's not securely fastened to the box. In addition, when the operation button is operated, the operation button swings lightly and smoothly (with no resistance), and it is not possible to actually feel that the operation button is stopped at the ON or OFF position. There was a disadvantage that it was bad.
In addition, there is a problem in that the movable contact piece is swung rapidly, and a stable reversing operation cannot be obtained, so that the bouncing time when the contacts are turned on cannot be further reduced. In addition, the arc generated at the time of contact breaking cannot be reduced.

In addition, it is necessary to prevent an accident in which the position of the movable contact piece shifts or falls off due to an external impact. However, the swing switch of the prior art disclosed in the above-mentioned patent document surely prevents such an accident. No means of prevention are provided.
Further, an arc between the movable contact piece and the movable contact piece supporting member, which is generated by bouncing when the switch is turned on and when the switch is turned off, cannot be prevented, and the life of the switch is shortened.

Further, an IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) standard tab 187 terminal is used for a terminal portion (tab terminal) of the swing switch having a rated current of 10 A, and a terminal portion (tab terminal) of the swing switch having a rated current of 16 A type. ) Requires the use of an IEC standard tab 250 terminal. The width of the tab 187 terminal is 4.75 mm and the width of the tab 250 terminal is 6.35 mm, so the width of the tab 250 terminal is 1.6 mm larger. For example, in a device equipped with a swing switch of a rated current 10A type, if a swing switch of a rated current 16A type is to be used instead of the 10A type swing switch, a box of a 16A type swing switch is required. Since the external dimensions (width and depth) are naturally larger than the external dimensions of the box of the 10A type oscillating switch, there must be a space where the 16A type oscillating switch can be stored at the mounting position of the oscillating switch. If there is no space in the device for storing a switch having a width and depth greater than that of the 10A type swing switch, the 16A type swing switch cannot be used.
In recent years, various types of OA equipment, amusement equipment, measuring equipment, medical equipment, and the like tend to be miniaturized, and therefore, a small swing switch having a larger current / voltage capacity that can be housed in a small space has appeared. Is strongly desired.

According to one aspect of the present invention, a substantially U-shaped movable contact piece made of an elastic member, a movable contact attached near one end of the movable contact piece, and the movable contact piece swingably supported. A movable contact support member having a movable contact support member, a tab terminal hanging down from the movable contact support member, and projecting to both sides in the width direction of the movable contact support member at predetermined positions of the tab terminals. Formed into A box having an open upper portion, a movable contact operating member that engages with the movable contact, an operation button that is swingably attached to the opening of the box, and a vicinity of the other end of the movable contact. And a recess having a substantially arc-shaped cross section that engages with a substantially arc-shaped cross section of a movable contact piece operator of the operation button. The contact piece supporting member is formed by caulking the bottom wall of the box by opening the pair of caulking stoppers of the tab terminal drawn out through corresponding slits formed in the bottom wall of the box outward in the width direction. The fixed contact piece is opened by opening the pair of caulking stopper pieces of the tab terminal pulled out through corresponding slits formed in the bottom wall of the box outward in the width direction. The operation button is fixed to the bottom wall of the box, and the operation button is engaged with a substantially arc-shaped recess of the movable contact piece with a substantially arc-shaped cross section of the movable contact operation element. The movable contact is attached to the opening of the box so as to be swingable, and swings along with the swing of the operation button. An oscillating switch configured to oscillate between a contacting switch-on position and a switch-off position away from the fixed contact is provided.

A rod-shaped body protruding beyond the distal end of the movable contact operating element is provided on the operation button, and a long hole in which the distal end of the rod-shaped body of the operation button is loosely fitted is formed near the concave portion of the movable contact. Then, when the operation button is swingably attached to the opening of the box, the distal end of the rod may be loosely fitted into the elongated hole of the movable contact piece.
Further, a partition wall for separating the tab terminal of the movable contact piece support member and the tab terminal of the fixed contact piece from each other is formed on the lower surface of the bottom wall of the box having a substantially rectangular or rectangular plane. The length of the terminal is set to be substantially the same as the length of the terminal, and slits for inserting the tab terminal of the movable contact piece support member and the tab terminal of the fixed contact piece are respectively formed from near the corner of the box bottom wall to one side of the bottom wall. May be formed so as to form a predetermined angle.

Alternatively, a conductive elastic piece may be swingably attached to the movable contact piece support member, and the movable contact piece may be swingably attached to the movable contact piece support member by being brought into contact with the elastic piece piece. . In this case, the movable contact support member and the movable contact piece are electrically connected well through the conductive elastic portion located between the movable contact support member and the movable contact piece. Is done.
The conductive elastic piece includes a sheet-shaped elastic piece main body, a pair of opposing holding pieces that are substantially upright from the elastic piece main body, and the elasticity in a direction substantially perpendicular to a line connecting the holding pieces. At least one pair of opposed projections protruding outward and upward from the piece main body may be provided, and the pair of holding pieces are configured such that the elastic piece is swingably attached to the movable contact piece support member. When the movable contact piece is pressed against the movable contact piece support member and the at least one pair of projections is swingably attached to the movable contact piece support member via the elastic portion piece, Pressure contact with the movable contact piece.

According to the above configuration, the fixed contact piece and the movable contact piece support member can be simply, easily, accurately, and stably attached and fixed to the box. In addition, since the movable contact operator of the operation button and the movable contact are engaged in a rotational friction state, the operation button is lightly and smoothly rocked, and is reliably stopped at the switch on or off position. And the operation feeling is further improved. Furthermore, rapid swinging of the movable contact piece is possible, and a more stable reversing operation is obtained, so that the bouncing time at the time of contact closing can be further reduced, and the arc generated at the time of contact breaking can be further reduced. Can be smaller. Therefore, it is possible to provide a contact with further reduced contact wear and a longer life.

6 to 12 show a box (casing) used in the swing switch of the first embodiment, FIG. 6 is a plan view thereof, FIG. 7 is a lower side view of FIG. 6, and FIG. 8 is a right side view of FIG. FIG. 9 is a bottom view of FIG. 6, FIG. 10 is a sectional view of FIG. 6 taken along line 10-10, and a cross-sectional view taken in the direction of the arrow, and FIG. FIG. 12 is a sectional view taken along line 12-12 of FIG. 6 and viewed in the direction of the arrow. The box 2 is a rectangular box having a bottom and a substantially rectangular shape with an open top, and a partition wall 21 for dividing the inside of the box 2 into two substantially the same rooms is formed in the center of the box 2 along the longitudinal direction. Have been. Since the swing switch of this embodiment is a double pole single throw (DPST) switch, two rooms for accommodating two sets of switch components are required. For this reason, the inside of the box is divided into two rooms by the partition wall 21, but in the case of a single pole single throw (SPST) switch, the inside of the box does not have to be divided into two rooms. As is clear from FIG. 10, the partition wall 21 has an arc-shaped concave portion 211 formed in the center of the upper end. The recess 211 prevents the upper end of the partition wall 21 from coming into contact with the tip 131 of the wall 13 of the operation button 1 when the operation button 1 having the above configuration is attached to the opening of the box 2 so as to be capable of seesaw movement. It is provided in order to. In addition, the height of the partition wall 21 may be slightly reduced so that the concave portion 211 is not formed.

A substantially rectangular flange 22 is formed integrally with the opening of the box 2, and a pair of opposing short side walls of the box 2 extend a predetermined length downward from immediately below the flange 22. There are provided recesses 23 for attaching plate-shaped springs, and plate-shaped springs 24 that curve outward are respectively attached to these recesses 23. A pair of through-holes (bearings) 25 that rotatably support the rotating shaft 11 of the operation button 1 are provided on the pair of long side walls facing each other of the box 2 directly below the central flange 22. Is formed. These through holes 25 are located on a straight line substantially perpendicular to the long side wall.
13 to 15 show a movable contact piece used in the swing switch of the first embodiment, FIG. 13 is a plan view thereof, FIG. 14 is a lower side view of FIG. 13, and FIG. 15 is a bottom view of FIG. is there. As can be understood from FIG. 14, the movable contact piece 3 has a shape (hairpin shape) obtained by folding a strip made of an elastic member such as phosphor bronze into a U-shape. Are folded back so that the lengths of the strip portions extending on both sides of the sheet are different.

A movable contact 31 is attached to a tip end of a longer strip portion (hereinafter, referred to as a first strip portion) 32, and a substantially rectangular plane having the same shape and dimensions is provided on both sides at an intermediate portion. Notch 321 is formed symmetrically. The first strip portion 32 has its tip end beyond the notch 321 bent upward at a predetermined angle in FIG. 14, and the movable contact 31 is fixed to the tip end of this inclined portion.
Near the tip of the shorter strip portion (hereinafter referred to as a second strip portion) 33, a substantially elliptical long hole 333 having a long axis in the longitudinal direction of the strip is formed. As will be described later, the rod 124 of one movable contact operating member 12 of the operation button 2 is loosely inserted into the elongated hole 333. On both sides of the center of the long hole 333, concave portions 332 extending in the width direction of the strip (the short axis direction of the long hole 333) are formed symmetrically. Since these recesses 332 engage with the substantially arc-shaped distal end 123 of the movable contact operating element 12 of the operation button 2 described above, their surfaces match the shape of the distal end 123 of the movable contact operating element 12. Formed on the surface.

16 to 18 show a movable contact piece support member used in the swing switch of the first embodiment, FIG. 16 is a plan view thereof, FIG. 17 is a lower side view of FIG. 16, and FIG. 18 is a right side of FIG. FIG. The movable contact piece supporting member 5 is formed by applying a metal processing to a metal plate having a large thickness and a high rigidity, and has an elongated terminal portion (tab terminal) 51 and one end of the tab terminal 51 in the longitudinal direction. A movable contact piece support 52 elongated in a direction perpendicular to the tab terminal 51 and formed to be bent at a substantially right angle from the portion, and faces the tab terminal 51 at the longitudinal end of the movable contact piece support 52. The holding piece 53 bent from the portion in the same direction as the tab terminal 51 at a substantially right angle, and the tab terminal 51 and the holding piece 53 are almost in the opposite direction from one end of the movable contact piece support body 52 in the longitudinal direction. And an upright movable contact piece support portion 521 bent and formed at a right angle.

As is clear from FIG. 17, the tab terminal 51 is formed with a caulking stopper piece 511 for fixing the movable contact piece support member 5 to the box 2 on the left and right side edges slightly above the middle portion. I have. As is clear from FIG. 18, a substantially rectangular concave portion 520 is formed on the upper portion of the movable contact piece support portion 521, and the first strip portion of the movable contact 3 described above is formed in the concave portion 520. 32 intermediate parts are arranged. As can be understood from FIG. 17, the upper end surface (surface in the thickness direction) of the movable contact piece support portion piece 521 facing the concave portion 520 is formed on the inclined surface 522 on the side where the movable contact 31 protrudes, and the movable contact piece 3 is formed. The intermediate portion of the first strip portion 32 is placed on a flat surface 523 slightly remaining on the upper end surface of the movable contact piece supporting portion 521. That is, the flat surface 523 performs the same function as the ridge. The notches 321 formed in the middle of the first strip portion 32 of the movable contact piece 3 engage with the protruding portions 524 formed on both sides of the concave portion 520, respectively. The protrusions 524 form an inwardly inclined slope at their upper ends, thereby facilitating the work of incorporating the movable contact piece 3 into the flat surface 523 of the movable contact support piece 521.

19 to 21 show a fixed contact piece used in the swing switch of the first embodiment, FIG. 19 is a plan view thereof, FIG. 20 is a lower side view of FIG. 19, and FIG. 21 is a right side view of FIG. It is. The fixed contact piece 4 is formed by applying a metal processing to a metal plate having a large thickness and a high rigidity, and is formed from an elongated terminal portion (tab terminal) 42 and one end of the tab terminal 42 in the longitudinal direction. A fixed contact support portion 43, which is bent in a direction substantially perpendicular to the plane and is substantially rectangular in a plane, and is formed by bending the fixed contact support portion 43 from a longitudinal edge of the fixed contact support portion 43 at a substantially right angle in the same direction as the tab terminal 42. And a holding piece 44. The fixed contact 41 is attached to the fixed contact support 43 and fixed. As is clear from FIG. 20, the tab terminal 42 is formed with a crimping stop piece 421 for fixing the fixing contact piece 4 to the box 2 on the left and right side edges slightly above the intermediate portion.

On the other hand, as shown in FIGS. 6, 9, 11 and 12, the tab terminal 42 of the fixed contact piece 4 and the tab terminal 51 of the movable contact piece support member 5 are inserted into the bottom wall of the box 2. The slits 27 and 28 are formed respectively, and as shown in FIGS. 6, 11 and 12, are fitted with the holding piece 44 of the fixed contact piece 4 and the holding piece 53 of the movable contact piece supporting member 5. Grooves 29 and 30 are formed in the inner surface of the bottom wall of box 2 respectively. The slits 27 and 28 have a constant width, but as is clear from FIGS. 9 and 10, their lengths are increased from the middle in the thickness direction of the bottom wall. That is, the length from the substantially middle position in the depth direction of each of the slits 27 and 28 to the outer surface of the bottom wall is long, and the step portions 271 and 281 are formed at the substantially middle position in the depth direction of each of the slits 27 and 28. Is formed. As will be described later, the fixed contact piece 4 and the crimping pieces 421 and 511 of the tab terminals 42 and 51 of the movable contact piece supporting member 5 are crimped to these step portions 271 and 281.

Further, a partition wall 26 extending between the long side walls is formed on the bottom wall of the box 2. The partition wall 26 hangs outward from the outer surface of the bottom wall of the box 2 and is substantially parallel to the short side wall, and protrudes substantially perpendicularly from the inner surface of the bottom wall of the box 2 to the inside. , And a second ridge 262 substantially parallel to the short side wall. The first ridge 261 is located substantially at the center of the bottom surface of the box, and the second ridge 262 is located on the side of the fixed contact piece 4 close to the slit 27 through which the tab terminal 42 is inserted.
Next, the order of assembling the swing switch according to the first embodiment using the above-described components will be briefly described.

First, the tab terminal 42 of the fixed contact 4 is inserted into the slit 27 for the fixed contact formed on the bottom wall of the box 2, and the tab terminal 42 of the fixed contact 4 is pulled out. At this time, the holding piece 44 of the fixed contact piece 4 is fitted into the fitting groove 29. With the tab terminal 42 of the fixed contact piece 4 completely pulled out to the outside, the caulking stopper 421 of the tab terminal 42 is opened outward using a jig, and caulked to the corresponding step 271. Similarly, the remaining fixed contact pieces 4 are also caulked. Subsequently, the tab terminal 51 of the movable contact support member 5 is inserted into the slit 28 for the movable contact support member formed on the bottom wall of the box 2, and the tab terminal 51 of the movable contact support member 5 is pulled out. . At this time, the holding piece 53 of the movable contact piece supporting member 5 is fitted into the fitting groove 30. With the tab terminal 51 of the movable contact piece supporting member 5 completely pulled out, the crimping piece 511 of the tab terminal 51 is opened outward using a jig, and crimped to the corresponding step 281. Similarly, the remaining movable contact piece support members 5 are also caulked.

Next, the movable contact piece 3 is attached to the movable contact piece support member 52 of the movable contact piece support member 5 fixed to the bottom wall of the box 2. Specifically, the projections 524 formed on both sides of the concave portion 520 of the movable contact piece support portion 521 that stand upright from the movable contact piece support member 52 are provided at the intermediate portion of the first strip portion 32 of the movable contact piece 3. The formed notch 321 is fitted with the movable contact 31 in a state where the movable contact 31 protrudes outside the inclined surface 522 of the movable contact piece support portion 521, and an intermediate portion of the first strip portion 32 of the movable contact piece 3 is fitted. Is placed on the flat surface 523 of the movable contact piece support piece 521.
In a state where the two movable contact pieces 3 are placed on the flat surface 523 of the corresponding movable contact support piece 521, the operation button 1 is arranged in the opening of the box 2 and the movable contact The distal end of the rod 124 is inserted into the corresponding long hole 333 of the movable contact piece 3, and is pressed from above to fit the rotating shaft 11 of the operation button 1 into the through hole 25 of the box 2. As is clear from FIG. 3, the rotation shaft 11 of the operation button 1 is formed on an inclined surface whose lower part is inwardly inclined from the center thereof. It fits into the through-hole 25 of the box 2 relatively easily. Thus, the swing switch according to the first embodiment of the present invention is assembled.

When the rotating shaft 11 of the operation button 1 is fitted into the through hole 25 of the box 2, the rotating shaft 11 of the operation button 1 is rotatably supported by the through hole 25 of the box 2. Seesaw exercise becomes possible. Further, the rod 124 of each movable contact operator 12 of the operation button 1 is loosely fitted into the corresponding long hole 333 of the movable contact 3, and each movable contact operator 12 has its arc-shaped tip 123. The corresponding movable contact piece 3 is engaged with the arc-shaped concave portion 332. Since the movable contact piece 3 is only swingably engaged with the concave portion 520 of the movable contact piece support piece 521 as described above, it is not in a stable state. The stable positions of the movable contact piece 3 are a switch-on position where the movable contact 31 contacts the fixed contact 41 and a switch-off position where the movable contact 31 is separated from the fixed contact 41 by a predetermined distance. Therefore, when the rotating shaft 11 of the operation button 1 is fitted into the through hole 25 of the box 2, the switch-on position where the movable contact 31 contacts the fixed contact 41 or the movable contact 31 is separated from the fixed contact 41 by a predetermined distance. The operation button 1 also pivots to a position corresponding to either one of the switch-off positions.

FIG. 22 is a schematic sectional view showing a state in which the operation button 1 is stopped at a switch-off position in which the movable contact 31 is separated from the fixed contact 41 by a predetermined distance, and FIG. It is a schematic sectional view showing the state where 31 stopped at the switch-on position which contacted fixed contact 41. As is clear from FIG. 22, when the movable contact 31 is at the switch-off position which is separated from the fixed contact 41 by a predetermined distance, the folded portion of the movable contact 3 is connected to the movable contact support 52 of the movable contact support 5. It comes into contact with the upper surface and is in a stable state.
As is clear from the above description, the swing switch according to the first embodiment is such that the fixed contact piece 4 and the movable contact piece support member 5 are simply, easily, accurately and stably mounted and fixed to the box 2. Can be. Further, the distal end of the rod 124 of each movable contact operating member 12 of the operation button 1 is inserted into the corresponding long hole 333 of the movable contact 3 and pressed from above to turn the rotating shaft 11 of the operation button 2 into a box. 2 so that the movable contact piece 3 does not fall off from the movable contact piece support member 5 or the movable contact piece 3 is not damaged during assembly. Can be accurately and stably attached to the box 2 in a seesaw motion.

Further, the rod 124 of each movable piece operator 12 of the operation button 1 is loosely fitted into the corresponding long hole 333 of the movable piece 3, and the arc-shaped tip 123 of each movable piece operator 12 corresponds to each other. Since the link operation is performed by engaging with the arcuate concave portion 332 of the movable contact piece 3 to be moved, in other words, the arc-shaped tip portion 123 of the movable contact operator 12 of the operation button 1 and the movable contact piece Since the engagement state with the arc-shaped concave portion 332 of FIG. 3 is not a sliding friction state but a rotational friction state as in the prior art, when the operation button 1 is operated, the operation button 1 is lightly and smoothly (resistance). (Without feeling) swinging, and a real feeling that the vehicle has reliably stopped at the switch on or off position is obtained. That is, the operation feeling is further improved. In addition, since the conical rod 124 of the movable contact operating member 12 of the operation button 1 is loosely fitted into the corresponding long hole 333 of the movable contact 3, the displacement of the movable contact 3 due to an external impact can be reduced. Dropping can be reliably prevented, and the operation of the swing switch can be stabilized.

The intermediate portion of the first strip portion 32 of the movable contact piece 3 was placed on the flat surface 523 of the movable contact piece support portion piece 521 protruded by the inclined surface 522 of the movable contact piece support portion 521. Therefore, the movable contact piece 3 and the movable contact piece support member 5 can be reliably brought into electrical and mechanical contact. Further, since the movable contact piece 3 is placed on the flat surface 523 of the movable contact piece supporting portion piece 521 which is a ridge, the movable contact piece 3 can be rapidly rocked. In particular, since the inclined surface 522 is formed, the swinging operation of the movable contact piece 3 to the switch-on position becomes very rapid, similarly to the swing operation to the switch-off position. In addition, when the movable contact piece 3 is reversed, since the conical rod 124 is loosely fitted in the corresponding long hole 333 of the movable contact piece 3, the movable contact piece operator 12 of the operation button 1 is moved. The position where the piece 3 is pressed does not shift. For this reason, a more stable inversion operation can be obtained, the operation feeling can be further improved, and a quick click inversion operation of the movable contact piece 3 can be ensured. By further increasing the reversing speed, the bouncing time at the time of contact closing can be further reduced, and the arc generated at the time of contact breaking can be further reduced, so that the consumption of the contacts is further suppressed, It is possible to provide a contact having a longer life.

Next, a swing switch according to a second embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIGS.
FIG. 24 is a schematic sectional view showing a switch-on state of the swing switch according to the second embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 25 is a bottom view of a box used in the swing switch according to the second embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 26 is a plan view showing a state in which two fixed contact pieces and two movable contact piece support members are attached inside the box shown in FIG. Since the swing switch of the second embodiment is different from the box 2 of the first embodiment mainly in the structure of the box, particularly the structure of the bottom wall of the box, FIGS. The elements, members and parts corresponding to are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the description of the operation button 1, movable contact 3, movable contact support member 5, and fixed contact 4 will be omitted unless necessary.

As described above, the terminal portion (tab terminal) of the swing switch of the rated current 10A uses the tab 187 terminal of the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) standard, and the terminal of the swing switch of the rated current 16A type. It is necessary to use an IEC standard tab 250 terminal for the section (tab terminal). The width of the tab 187 terminal is 4.75 mm and the width of the tab 250 terminal is 6.35 mm, so the width of the tab 250 terminal is 1.6 mm larger.
The swing switch according to the first embodiment is a swing switch having a rated current of 10 A, and the tab terminal 42 of the fixed contact 4 and the tab terminal 51 of the movable contact support member 5 are IEC tab 187 terminals, respectively. , Its width is 4.75 mm. Further, the distance between the tab terminal 42 of the adjacent fixed contact piece 4 and the tab terminal 51 of the movable contact piece supporting member 5 sufficiently satisfies the IEC standard insulation distance (3 mm or more). The length of the slits 27 and 28 formed in the bottom wall of the box 2 of the swing switch according to the first embodiment is increased according to the width of the tab 250 terminal of 6.35 mm, and the IEC standard tab 250 terminal is incorporated. When a swing switch having a rated current of 16 A type is manufactured, the distance between the tab terminal 42 of the adjacent fixed contact piece 4 and the tab terminal 51 of the movable contact piece supporting member 5 becomes shorter than the insulation distance of the IEC standard. Does not meet standards.

The swing switch of the second embodiment uses a box having the same width and depth (the length of the long side direction and the short side direction of the box 2) as the box of the swing switch of the first embodiment, and conforms to the IEC standard. Is a swing switch of a rated current 16A type incorporating the tab 250 terminal of the above. The insulation distance satisfying the IEC standard is set between the tab terminal 42 of the adjacent fixed contact 4 and the tab terminal 51 of the movable contact support member 5. It is what you have.
The box 2 used in the swing switch according to the second embodiment is, similarly to the box 2 used in the swing switch according to the first embodiment, a square box having a bottom and a substantially rectangular flat surface with an open top. A partition wall 21 for dividing the inside of the box 2 into two substantially the same rooms is formed in the center of the box 2 along the longitudinal direction. Since the swing switch of the second embodiment is also a double pole single throw (DPST) switch, two rooms for accommodating two sets of switch components are required. For this reason, the inside of the box is divided into two rooms by the partition wall 21.

As shown in FIG. 25, slits 227 and 228 for inserting the tab terminal 42 of the fixed contact piece 4 and the tab terminal 51 of the movable contact piece support member 5 are provided on the bottom wall of the box 2 respectively. The box 2 is formed obliquely at a predetermined acute angle from the side wall on the long side of the box 2 from the corner. As with the slits 27 and 28 of the first embodiment, the widths of the slits 227 and 228 are constant, but the lengths of the slits 227 and 228 are increased from the middle in the thickness direction of the bottom wall. That is, the length from the substantially middle position in the depth direction of each of the slits 227 and 228 to the outer surface of the bottom wall is long, and the step portions 271 and 281 are formed at the substantially middle position in the depth direction of each of the slits 227 and 228. Is formed. The fixed contact piece 4 and the crimping pieces 421 and 511 of the tab terminals 42 and 51 of the movable contact piece supporting member 5 are crimped to these step portions 271 and 281. Although not shown, grooves for fitting the holding piece of the fixed contact piece 4 and the holding piece of the movable contact piece support member 5 are formed on the inner surface of the bottom wall of the box 2. Further, as can be easily understood from FIG. 26, the tab terminal 42 of the fixed contact piece 4 and the tab terminal 51 of the movable contact piece support member 5 are connected to the fixed contact support portion 43 and the movable contact piece support member 52 by the slits 227 and 228. It is bent at almost the same angle as the inclination angle. As shown in FIG. 26, the planar shape of the movable contact support 52 of the movable contact support 5 is such that the tab terminal 51 is vertically downward so as to form an angle with the side edge of the movable contact support 52. The shape of the movable contact piece support 52 used in the first embodiment is slightly different from that of the first embodiment.

The partition wall 200 formed on the bottom wall of the box 2 slightly lowers the ends of the tab terminals 42 of the fixed contact piece 4 and the tab terminals 51 of the movable contact piece supporting member 5 from substantially the center of the outer surface of the bottom wall. A first ridge 201 substantially parallel to the short side wall which hangs down to the position exceeding the position, and a tab terminal 42 of the fixed contact 4 and a movable contact support are similarly lowered from substantially the center of the outer surface of the bottom wall. A second ridge 202 that hangs down to a position slightly beyond the tip of the tab terminal 51 of the member 5 and that is substantially parallel to the long side wall, and a short side that projects substantially perpendicularly from the inner surface of the bottom wall to the inside. And a third ridge 203 substantially parallel to the side wall. The first and third ridges 201 and 203 extend between the long side walls, and the second ridge 202 extends between the short side walls. In practice, the first and second ridges 201 and 202 are formed as integral partition walls having a substantially cross-shaped plane as shown in FIG. When the tab terminals 42 of the two fixed contact pieces 4 and the tab terminals 51 of the two movable contact piece support members 5 are pulled out to the outside through the corresponding slits 227 and 228, these convex ridges 201 and 202 are caulked. The four tab terminals are isolated from each other. The third protruding ridge 203 is located on the side of the fixed contact piece 4 close to the slit 227 through which the tab terminal 42 is inserted.

As described above, the slits 227 and 228 for inserting the tab terminal 42 of the fixed contact piece 4 and the tab terminal 51 of the movable contact piece supporting member 5 are formed from the four corners of the bottom wall of the box 2 to the long side of the box 2 When each tab terminal is formed obliquely so as to form a predetermined acute angle with the side wall and is separated from each other by the first and second ridges 201 and 202 having a substantially cross-shaped plane, the adjacent fixed contact piece 4 The insulation distance between the tab terminal 42 and the tab terminal 51 of the movable contact piece supporting member 5 sufficiently satisfies the IEC standard. For example, when the inclination angle of the slits 227 and 228 with respect to the long side wall is set to about 15 °, the side edge of the tab terminal 42 of the fixed contact piece 4 inserted into the slit 227 and the first ridge 201 in FIG. And the linear distance between the side edge of the tab terminal 51 of the movable contact piece supporting member 5 inserted into the slit 228 and the end of the first ridge 201 are both about 2.38 mm. Assuming that the thickness of the first ridge 201 is 1 mm, the creepage distance between the tab terminal 42 of the adjacent fixed contact piece 4 and the tab terminal 51 of the movable contact piece supporting member 5 is about 5.76 mm, which is 3 mm. The above-described insulation distance of the IEC standard can be sufficiently cleared. The linear distance between the tab terminal 42 of the adjacent fixed contact piece 4 and the tab terminal 51 of the movable contact piece supporting member 5 also exceeds 3 mm. Therefore, sufficient dielectric strength can be obtained. The creepage distance and the linear distance between the tab terminal 42 of the fixed contact piece 4 and the tab terminal 51 of the movable contact piece supporting member 5 increase as the inclination angle of the slits 227 and 228 with respect to the long side wall increases. .

Thus, it is possible to provide a rated current 16A type swing switch incorporating the IEC standard tab 250 terminal by using a box having the same width and depth as the rated current 10A type swing switch box. Needless to say, this swing switch has the same operational effects as the above-described first embodiment, but is also applicable to various devices that do not have a space for accommodating a switch having a larger width and depth than a 10A type swing switch. Since attachment is possible, there is an advantage that it can be changed to a device having a larger current / voltage capacity without increasing the dimensions of, for example, OA equipment, amusement equipment, measuring equipment, medical equipment, and the like. The height of the swing switch of the second embodiment (the length in the direction perpendicular to the bottom wall of the box 2) is increased by the length of the tab 250 terminal longer than the tab 187 terminal. Since a power supply cable or the like is connected, there is usually some room in the space in the height direction, so that it can be mounted without any problem instead of the 10A type swing switch.

Next, a swing switch according to a third embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIGS.
27 is a plan view showing a conductive elastic piece used in the third embodiment of the swing switch according to the present invention, FIG. 28 is a left side view of FIG. 27, FIG. 29 is a lower side view of FIG. FIG. 30 shows the elastic piece shown in FIGS. 27 to 29 fitted to a movable piece support piece 521 that stands upright from the movable piece support 52 of the movable piece support member 5 used in the second embodiment. FIG. 31 is a perspective view showing the state, and FIG. 31 is a view in which the elastic pieces shown in FIGS. 27 to 29 are respectively fitted to the two movable contact piece support members 5 shown in FIG. 26, and FIGS. 15 is a plan view showing a state where the movable contact piece 3 shown in FIG. 15 is attached, and FIG. 32 is a schematic sectional view showing a switch-on state of the swing switch according to the third embodiment of the present invention.

The swing switch according to the third embodiment is different from the swing switch according to the second embodiment in that the movable contact support member 521 that stands upright from the movable contact support 52 of the movable contact support member 5 is shown in FIGS. 29. The conductive elastic piece 6 shown in FIG. 29 is fitted, and the movable contact piece 3 shown in FIGS. It is only different from the dynamic switch. That is, in the third embodiment, the movable contact piece 3 is attached to the movable contact piece support piece 521 via the conductive elastic piece 6. Therefore, the elements, members and parts corresponding to those in FIGS. 1 to 26 are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the operation button 1, the movable contact 3, the movable contact support member 5, and the fixed contact 4 are not necessary. As long as they are not described.

The conductive elastic part 6 is a spring formed by metal-processing a conductive strip made of an elastic member such as phosphor bronze. As shown in FIGS. An elastic piece main body 60, and two substantially truncated triangular protrusions 61 bent obliquely upward and outward at predetermined intervals from respective side edges on the long side of the elastic piece main body 60; A pair of opposing holding pieces 62 formed by bending both sides in the longitudinal direction of the elastic piece main body 60 by a predetermined length at an angle slightly larger than a right angle.
As shown in FIG. 28, each projection 61 is bent so that its tip 611 is slightly upward from the plane of the elastic piece main body 60, and the two projections 61 located on one side edge and the other projection 61 are bent. The two protrusions 61 located on the side edges are formed at positions facing each other with the elastic piece main body 60 interposed therebetween. A pair of through-holes 63 extending to the corresponding holding pieces 62 are formed at substantially the center of both sides in the longitudinal direction of the elastic piece main body 60. These through holes 63 have a shape and a size that can be loosely fitted to the protruding portions 524 formed on both sides of the concave portion 520 of the movable contact piece support piece 521 that stands upright from the movable contact piece support 52. In addition, as shown in FIG. 30, two adjacent projections 61 are formed so as to be located between opposed inner walls of the two projections 524.

As shown in FIG. 29, the pair of holding pieces 62 are slightly inclined toward the inside of the elastic piece main body 60, and the pair of through holes 63 of the elastic piece 6 are When the elastic piece 6 is loosely fitted to the portion 524 and attached to the movable contact piece support portion 521, the pair of holding pieces 62 are pressed outward by the outer walls of the protrusions 524 as shown in FIG. It will be almost upright. In other words, the pair of holding pieces 62 sandwich the pair of protrusions 524. Therefore, the two holding pieces 62 are pressed against the corresponding outer wall of the protruding portion 524 by their elastic force, so that the elastic piece 6 is attached to the concave portion 520 of the movable contact piece supporting portion 52 by the bottom surface of the elastic portion main body 60. Is held on the flat surface 523 of the movable contact piece supporting portion 521. In addition, as can be understood from FIG. 31, the width of each holding piece 62 is considerably larger than the width of the wall surface of the projecting portion 524 that is in contact, so that each holding piece 62 has a corresponding projection of the movable contact piece supporting portion piece 521. It is in sufficient contact with the wall surface of the portion 524, and both are electrically connected well. Therefore, the elastic piece 6 and the movable piece supporting member 5 are in electrical contact between the bottom surface of the elastic piece main body 60 and the flat surface 523 of the movable piece supporting piece 521 and the two holding pieces 62 and the movable piece support. Due to the electrical contact of the piece 521 with the corresponding protrusion 524, a good electrical connection is obtained. In this embodiment, the height of the holding piece 62 is set to be substantially equal to the height of the protruding portion 524 of the movable contact piece supporting portion piece 521, but is not limited to this.

On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 31, the movable contact piece 3 is placed on the upper part of the elastic piece 6, and in this case, the movable contact piece 3 is formed at an intermediate portion of the first strip portion 32. The cutout 321 (see FIG. 15) is loosely fitted to the protruding portion 524 of the movable contact piece support portion 521, and the main portion of the first strip portion 32 is mainly placed on the elastic portion 6. Therefore, the bottom surface of the first strip portion 32 of the movable contact piece 3 comes into contact with the tip portions 611 of the four protrusions 61 of the elastic portion piece 6. As described above, since the movable strip 3 has its second strip 33 pressed by the movable strip operator 12 of the operation button 1, the first strip 32 is also pressed toward the elastic piece 6. Is done. Since the four projections 61 of the elastic piece 6 have elasticity, the bottom surface of the first strip portion 32 of the movable contact piece 3 and the tip 611 of the four projections 61 of the elastic piece 6 are pressed against each other, Further, as a result of the tip portions 611 of the four projections 61 of the elastic piece 6 being pressed by the bottom surface of the first strip portion 32 of the movable contact piece 3, as shown in FIG. The portion warps upward and comes into contact with the bottom surface of the first strip portion 32 of the movable contact piece 3. Therefore, the movable contact piece 3 and the elastic piece 6 are electrically connected well.

The two holding pieces 62 and the corresponding protruding parts 524 of the movable contact piece supporting part 521 are only in pressure contact with each other and are not in a fixed state, and the protruding parts 524 are sandwiched only by the elastic force of the holding pieces 62. Therefore, the elastic piece 6 also swings easily with the swing of the movable contact piece 3, and swings to a switch-on position shown in FIG. 32 and a switch-off position (not shown) in which the movable contact 31 is separated from the fixed contact 41. Move. The two holding pieces 62 are in pressure contact with the corresponding protruding portions 524 of the movable contact piece supporting portion 521, and the width of each holding piece 62 is considerably larger than the width of the protruding portion 524. Each holding piece 62 is in sufficient contact with the wall surface of the corresponding protrusion 524. Therefore, the elastic piece 6 and the movable contact piece supporting member 5 are always electrically and well connected to each other, and the tips 611 of the four protrusions 61 of the elastic piece 6 are connected to the first of the movable contact piece 3. Since it is in pressure contact with the bottom surface of the strip portion 32, the elastic piece 6 and the movable contact piece 3 are always electrically connected well. Thus, even if bouncing occurs, no arc is generated between the movable contact piece 3 and the movable contact piece support portion piece 521, and the life of these members can be greatly extended.

As described above, when the piece 6 made of a conductive elastic material (spring material) is disposed between the flat surface 523 of the movable piece supporting portion 521 and the movable piece 3 in a state of being pressed against both, Not only the same operation and effect as in the case of the second embodiment can be obtained, but also the movable contact piece support portion 521 and the movable contact piece 3 are always electrically and well connected through the conductive elastic portion 6. Accordingly, it is possible to completely prevent arcing between the movable contact piece 3 and the movable contact piece supporting portion piece 521 caused by bouncing when the switch is turned on and when the switch is turned off. As a result, the life of the switch can be greatly extended. Further, since the conductive elastic piece 6 is simply attached by pressing the pair of holding pieces 62 against the protruding portion 524 of the movable contact piece supporting section 521, the attaching operation is simple. Therefore, there is no problem in terms of workability. Needless to say, the number of the protrusions 61 is not limited to four.

In the first to third embodiments, the crimping stop pieces 421 and 511 are formed on both sides of the tab terminals 42 and 51 in the width direction so as to protrude in the width direction, and the crimping stop pieces 421 and 511 are formed in the width direction. Since the tab terminals 42 and 51 are configured to be caulked by being opened outward, the tab terminals 42 and 51 can be boxed without increasing the width dimension of the tab terminals 42 and 51 as in the prior art. 2 has an advantage that it can be firmly fixed to the bottom wall.
Although the embodiment in which the present invention is applied to a two-pole single-throw switch has been described, the present invention can be applied to various swing switches such as a single-pole single-throw switch, a two-pole, two-throw switch, and an equivalent operation and effect can be obtained. Needless to say, it can be obtained. Further, in the second embodiment, the case where the swing switch of the rated current 10A type is configured to be used as the swing switch of the rated current 16A type without increasing the outer dimensions of the box is shown. The present invention can also be applied to a case where a swing switch having a predetermined rated current / voltage can be used as a swing switch having a larger rated current / voltage without increasing the outer dimensions of the box. Needless to say, the effect of the invention can be obtained.

As described above, according to the present invention, the fixed contact piece and the movable contact piece support member can be simply, easily, accurately, and stably attached and fixed to the box. In addition, since the movable contact operator of the operation button and the movable contact are engaged in a rotational friction state, the operation button swings lightly and smoothly (with no resistance), and is reliably switched on or off. Is obtained, and the operational feeling is further improved. Furthermore, rapid swinging of the movable contact piece is possible, and a more stable reversing operation can be obtained, so that the bouncing time at the time of contact closing can be further reduced, and the arc generated at the time of contact breaking can be further reduced. Can be smaller. Therefore, it is possible to provide a contact with further reduced contact wear and a longer life.
