Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a connection conversion member used in combination with a plug-in breaker.
[0002]
[Prior art]
[Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-157323 (FIGS. 10 and 11)
[0003]
In a distribution board and the like, a plug-in breaker that can be plugged into a bus bar and connected has been evaluated for its good connection workability and is becoming popular. Along with this, it is desired to use a plug-in breaker also for primary feed and secondary feed of the main bar of the distribution board. However, since the primary feed line and the secondary feed line are usually merely electric wires, the plug-in breaker cannot be directly connected.
[0004]
Therefore, as disclosed in Patent Document 1, a connection conversion device in which an insertion blade is provided on one side of a terminal block and a threaded terminal is provided on the other side has been proposed. By using this connection conversion device, it is possible to connect the feeder, which is an electric wire, to the plug-in breaker. However, such a terminal block type connection conversion device is costly, requires a certain installation space, and cannot take advantage of a plug-in breaker that can be easily connected. In addition, the connection between the screw terminal and the electric wire may be loosened.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems and to provide a novel connection conversion member that can securely connect an electric wire and a plug-in breaker at a low cost without requiring an installation space. Things.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A connection conversion member of the present invention made to solve the above-mentioned problem is characterized in that an electric wire crimping part is formed at one end of a fitting main body, and a plug-in insertion piece is formed at the other end. In addition, it is preferable that the tip of the plug-in insertion piece is formed in a bent shape, and the metal fitting body is formed of a linear metal plate, and the center of the plate thickness and the center of the bent tip are matched. Preferably, it has a structure. Further, it is preferable to have a structure that includes a holding member that covers the metal fitting body and fixes the whole to the plug-in breaker, and the locking portion of the holding member to the plug-in breaker corresponds to the conductor introduction groove of the plug-in breaker. In addition, it is preferable that the tip of the locking portion is formed thicker than the entrance of the conductor introduction groove of the plug-in breaker.
[0007]
The connection conversion member of the present invention is formed by forming a wire crimping portion at one end of the metal fitting body and forming a plug-in insertion piece at the other end. By simply inserting the insertion piece into the conductor introduction groove of the plug-in breaker, the electric wire and the plug-in breaker can be easily connected.
[0008]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a connection conversion member of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a front view thereof. In these figures, reference numeral 1 denotes a metal fitting body made of metal having excellent conductivity, 2 denotes an electric wire crimping portion formed at one end, and 3 denotes a plug-in insertion piece formed at the other end. The metal fitting body 1 is preferably a linearly extending metal plate, and one end of the metal plate is rounded to form an electric wire crimping portion 2.
[0009]
In order to facilitate the crimping of the electric wire in the electric wire crimping section 2, it is not preferable to make the metal plate too thick. However, the plug-in insertion piece 3 needs an appropriate thickness in order to surely connect with the plug-in terminal. Therefore, as shown in the figure, it is preferable that the metal plate is made a thin plate and the other end is bent to have an appropriate thickness. Further, the bent front end portion 4 has an R shape, which facilitates insertion into the plug-in terminal. In this embodiment, the bending is performed once, but it is also possible to perform the bending twice or more. It is preferable that the wire crimping section 2 is formed by crushing a metal plate into a thin shape before forming to facilitate crimping. Also, as shown in FIG. 2, it is preferable to make the center of the thickness of the metal fitting body coincide with the center of the bent end portion 4 because it becomes difficult to bend at the time of insertion.
[0010]
Such a connection conversion member is used by inserting a plug-in insertion piece 3 into a plug-in terminal 5 of a plug-in breaker 10 and crimping an electric wire 6 to an electric wire crimping portion 2 as shown in FIG. As described above, by using the connection conversion member of the present invention, the electric wire 6 and the plug-in breaker can be connected at low cost without requiring an installation space. Moreover, since the connection with the electric wire 6 is performed by crimping, unlike a screw, there is no possibility of loosening, and the connection can be easily made.
[0011]
Although the connection conversion member of the present invention can be used alone, it can be used by being incorporated in a resin holding member 7 as shown in FIG. The holding member 7 covers the metal fitting main body 1 of the connection conversion member, fixes the whole to the plug-in breaker 10, and further has a role of an insulating member between the metal fitting main bodies 1. FIG. 4 shows a half portion of the holding member 7, which is used by combining two pieces and engaging the upper and lower engaging pieces 8 with the other engaging grooves 9. As shown in FIG. 5, the holding member 7 includes three phases of slits 11 inside which the fitting main body 1 of the connection conversion member can be fitted and supported, and an arbitrary slit 8 can hold the connection conversion member. In addition, an insulating cap (not shown) is fitted to the wire crimping part incorporated in the holding member.
[0012]
Further, the holding member 7 has a locking portion 12 to the plug-in breaker 10 on the side. As shown in FIGS. 7 to 9, the holding member 7 is attached so as to cover from the outside of the terminal portion of the plug-in breaker 10. The locking portion 12 is provided corresponding to the conductor introduction groove 13 of the plug-in breaker, and the tip of the locking portion 12 is formed thicker than the entrance of the conductor introduction groove 13 of the plug-in breaker 10 as shown in FIG. By doing so, the plug-in breaker 10 can be elastically engaged with the terminal portion and fixed. That is, by providing the inclined portion 12 a inside the tip of the locking portion 12, the locking portion 12 bends outward once when passing through the entrance of the conductor introduction portion 13, and returns to the original state after entering the conductor introduction portion 13. It is to return to. However, the method of attaching to the plug-in breaker 10 is not limited to this, and may be a screw.
[0013]
When the connection conversion member of the present invention is incorporated into the holding member 7 and used, the plug-in breaker 10 can be attached to the terminal portion with one touch. Further, as described above, if the center of the thickness of the metal fitting body and the center of the bent end portion 4 are made to coincide with each other, it is necessary to pay attention to the directionality when assembling into the holding member 7 as shown in FIG. There is no. The crimping operation of the electric wire 6 to the electric wire crimping portion 2 of the holding member 7 may be performed before or after the incorporation into the holding member 7.
[0014]
If the screw hole 14 is formed in the plug-in insertion piece 3 as shown in FIG. 10, the connection conversion member of the present invention can be screwed and connected to the screw terminal.
[0015]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, by using the connection conversion member of the present invention, the electric wire and the plug-in terminal of the plug-in breaker can be easily connected. Furthermore, unlike the terminal block type, the connection conversion member of the present invention does not require an installation space and is low in cost. Also, since the electric wire is fixed by crimping, unlike the screw-type one, there is no possibility of loosening. Further, when the plug-in breaker is combined with the holding member, the plug-in breaker can be attached to the terminal portion with one touch. Therefore, the connection conversion member of the present invention is suitable for a case where a plug-in breaker is used as a primary feed or a secondary feed of a distribution board.
