Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trimming table for animals that can conveniently remove suspended matter bringing about during trimming work for animals. <P>SOLUTION: On a top table 10 that has a working face 14 on which an animal is placed and trimmed, a sucking inlet 16 is opened on the working face 14. In the meantime, a suction path 45 for sucking the suspended matter generating during the trimming work through the sucking inlet 16 is formed inside a table supporter 12 that supports the top table 10, and a suction apparatus 58 for acting suction power to suck the suspended matter and air via the sucking path 45 is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

【技術分野】
本発明は、動物用トリミングテーブルに係り、特に、犬や猫等の愛玩動物（ペット）に対するトリミング作業を行なう際に、それらの動物が乗せられる動物用トリミングテーブルの新規な構造に関するものである。

【背景技術】
近年、加熱するペットブームを背景にして、様々な場所で、ペットに対する各種のサービスが提供されており、例えば、ペットショップや動物病院、或いはペット専門美容室等において、犬や猫等に対するトリミングが、行なわれている。

このトリミングは、よく知られているように、トリミングテーブルの上に乗せられた犬や猫等の体毛を刈り込んで手入れするものであるが、このようなトリミング作業を行なう際には、刈り込まれた体毛のうちの微細なもの、或いは動物の体毛に付着した埃やふけ、ダニ等が空中に浮遊する浮遊物として、不可避的に発生する。このため、トリミング作業の従事者は、一般に、それらの浮遊物を吸い込まないように、マスク等をして、作業を行なっている。

ところが、トリミング作業時に生ずる浮遊物の中には、マスクを通過可能な程の微細なものも少なくなく、そのために、トリミング作業の従事者が、そのような微細な浮遊物をマスク越しに吸い込むことにより、健康を害する恐れがあったのである。また、トリミング作業時に生ずる浮遊物によって、作業場所の衛生環境が悪化するといった問題も、生じていたのである。

【解決課題】
ここにおいて、本発明は、上述せる如き事情を背景にして為されたものであって、その解決課題とするところは、動物のトリミング作業を行なう際に使用される動物用トリミングテーブルにおいて、かかるトリミング作業時に発生して空中に浮遊する浮遊物を有利に除去することが出来、以て、トリミング作業の従事者の健康と作業場所の衛生環境の悪化を未然に防止し得るようにした新規な構造を提供することにある。

【解決手段】
そして、本発明にあっては、かかる課題の解決のために、（ａ）動物が乗せられて、該動物のトリミング作業が行なわれる作業スペースを与える作業面と、該作業面に開口する吸引口とを備えた天板と、（ｂ）該天板を所定の高さに位置せしめるように支持する支持体と、（ｃ）該支持体の内部に、前記天板の吸引口に接続された状態で設けられ、前記トリミング作業により発生して空中に浮遊する浮遊物を、該吸引口を通じて、空気と共に吸引する吸引通路と、（ｄ）前記支持体の内部に配設され、前記吸引通路を介して、前記浮遊物と前記空気とを吸引する吸引力を作用せしめる吸引装置とを含んで構成したことを特徴とする動物用トリミングテーブルを、その要旨とするものである。

すなわち、この本発明に従う動物用トリミングテーブルにあっては、トリミングされるべき動物が乗せられる天板に、吸引口が設けられる一方、かかる天板を支持する支持体の内部に、吸引通路と吸引装置とが設けられて、天板に乗せられた動物のトリミング作業時に生ずる浮遊物が、吸引装置の吸引力により、吸引通路を通じて、吸引口から吸引されるようになっている。

それ故、このような本発明に係る動物用トリミングテーブルを用いれば、トリミング作業の従事者が、その作業時に生ずる浮遊物を吸い込んでしまうようなことが効果的に解消され得るばかりでなく、そのような浮遊物が作業場所内に飛散せしめられるようことも、有利に回避され得る。

従って、かくの如き本発明に従う動物用トリミングテーブルにあっては、トリミング作業時に不可避的に生ずる浮遊物の吸込みによって作業従事者の健康が害されることを効果的に防止することが出来るのであり、また、そのような浮遊物の飛散により、トリミング作業を行なう作業場所の衛生環境が悪化することを未然に防ぐことも可能となるのである。そして、その結果として、トリミング作業に従事する者の安全の確保と、その作業場所のクリーン化とを、極めて効果的に達成することが出来るのである。

なお、このような本発明に従う動物用トリミングテーブルの好ましい態様の一つによれば、前記吸引口が、前記天板の外周部に対して、該天板の前記作業スペースを取り囲みつつ、周方向に連続して延びるように設けられる。これによって、トリミング作業時に生ずる浮遊物が、より確実に且つ効率的に吸引され得るのであり、それによって、トリミング作業従事者の安全が、更に一層有利に確保され得ると共に、作業場所のクリーン化が、より効果的に実現せしめられ得ることとなるのである。

また、本発明に従う動物用トリミングテーブルの別の有利な態様の一つによれば、前記吸引口に対して、前記浮遊物と前記空気は通過させるものの、前記動物の体の一部の該吸引口内への侵入を阻止せしめるカバー部材が、該吸引口を覆うように設けられることとなる。これによって、トリミング作業中に、天板の作業面に乗せられた動物の手足や爪等が吸引口にはまり込んで、動物が傷付いたり、或いは動物がそれに驚いて暴れたりする等して、作業が中断せしめられ、若しくは作業の継続が不可能となってしまうようなことが、効果的に回避され得るのである。

さらに、本発明に従う動物用トリミングテーブルの望ましい更に別の態様の一つによれば、前記支持体の内部に、前記吸引装置が設置される設置スペースと、前記吸引通路を通じて吸引される前記浮遊物を集合せしめる浮遊物集合スペースとが画成され、それら設置スペースと浮遊物集合スペースとが、前記空気は通過させるものの、該浮遊物の通過は阻止するフィルタ部材にて仕切られて、構成される。このような構成を採用すれば、吸引通路を通じて、吸引口から吸引された浮遊物によって、吸引装置が汚染されたり、故障したりするようなことが、未然に防止され得るのである。

また、本発明に従う動物用トリミングテーブルの他の好ましい態様の一つによれば、前記天板に、前記作業面において開口する廃棄口が、前記支持体内部の前記吸引通路に接続されて、設けられ、前記トリミング作業によって生ずる、前記動物から刈り込まれた体毛が、前記吸引装置の吸引力により、該吸引通路を通じて、該廃棄口から吸引されるように構成される。このような構成を採用すれば、トリミング作業の作業中、若しくは作業後に、動物から刈り込まれた体毛の始末が、極めて容易に且つ迅速に行なわれ得るのである。

さらに、本発明に従う動物用トリミングテーブルにおいて、天板に廃棄口が設けられる場合には、望ましくは、前記支持体の内部に、前記吸引通路を通じて前記廃棄口から吸引される前記体毛を集合せしめる体毛集合スペースが、更に設けられ、また、かかる廃棄口を開閉可能に覆蓋する蓋部材が、設けられることとなる。

これらの構成のうち、支持体内に体毛集合スペースを設ける構成を採用する場合には、廃棄口から吸引された体毛の後始末を、より簡単に行なうことが出来るといった利点が得られる。また、廃棄口を開閉可能に覆蓋する蓋部材が設けられる場合には、例えば、トリミング作業中に、廃棄口を蓋部材にて覆蓋しておくことによって、トリミング作業時に生ずる浮遊物が、吸引通路を通じて、より大きな吸引力で、更に一層確実に吸引され得ることとなる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明を更に具体的に明らかにするために、本発明に係る動物用トリミングテーブルの構成について、図面を参照しつつ、詳細に説明することとする。

先ず、図１及び図２には、本発明に従う構造を有する動物用トリミングテーブルの一実施形態としての犬猫用トリミングテーブルが、その縦断面形態と上面形態とにおいて、それぞれ概略的に示されている。それらの図からも明らかなように、本実施形態のトリミングテーブルは、天板１０と支持体１２とを有して、構成されている。

より具体的には、このトリミングテーブルを構成する天板１０は、全体として、円形形状を呈する平板からなっており、その上面が、トリミングされるべき犬や猫等の動物を乗せるのに十分な広さを有する、平坦な作業面１４とされている。そして、ここでは、この作業面１４の内周部にて、犬や猫等の動物のトリミングを行なう作業スペースが与えられている。

また、かかる天板１０には、それを板厚方向に貫通して、作業面１４において上方に開口する吸引口１６が、形成されている。この吸引口１６は、天板１０における作業面１４の外周部に沿って周方向に連続して延びる円環形状を呈しており、作業面１４の内周部にて与えられる作業スペースを取り囲むようにして、配設されている。そして、このような円環形状を呈する吸引口１６の作業面１４側の開口部には、カバー部材としてのメッシュ１８が、かかる開口部を覆うようにして、設置されている。なお、このメッシュ１８は、作業面１４上に乗せられる犬や猫の爪は、吸引口１６内に入り込ませないものの、天板１０の作業面１４に乗せられた犬や猫から刈り込まれた体毛のうちの微細なものや、犬や猫の体毛に付着した埃、ふけ、ダニ等、トリミング作業時に不可避的に発生して、空中に浮遊する浮遊物は通過させ得る程度の大きさの網の目を有して、構成されている。

さらに、天板１０の外周部には、廃棄口２０が設けられている。この廃棄口２０は、天板１０の外周部に設けられた吸引口１６の一部分が、他の部分よりも、所定寸法だけ円形状に拡大されることにより形成された、天板１０を板厚方向に貫通する円形孔にて、構成されている。そして、かかる廃棄口２０には、それを覆蓋する蓋部材２２が、嵌め込まれている。なお、この蓋部材２２は、摘み部２４を有しており、この摘み部２４が摘まれることにより、廃棄口２０に対する開閉操作が行なわれ得るようになっている。つまり、ここでは、廃棄口２０が、蓋部材２２にて開閉可能に覆蓋されるようになっているのである。

一方、支持体１２は、その上部部位を与える、内部が中空構造とされた上側中空部品２６と、下側部位を与える、内部が中空構造とされた下側中空部品２８とを有し、それらが、上下方向において互いに一体的に組み付けられて、構成されている。そして、かかる上側中空部品２６において、天板１０に固定される一方、下側中空部品２８において、床面に設置されるようになっている。

すなわち、支持体１２の上側中空部品２６は、所定の長さをもって上下方向に延びる円筒状の筒部３０を更に有し、この筒部３０の上端部に対して、上方に向かうに従って次第に大径化する円錐台形状のホッパ部３２が、その内部空間を筒部３０の内孔内に連通せしめた状態で、一体的に設けられて、構成されている。そして、かかる上側中空部品２６が、ホッパ部３２の大径化された上側開口部の端面において、天板１０の下面、つまり、作業面１４とは反対側の面における前記吸引口１６や廃棄口２０の形成部位よりも外側の外周縁部に対して、一体的に固着されている。また、このような支持体１２の上側中空部品２６における筒部３０の下部外周面には、複数の係合凹部３４が、上下方向に一定の間隔をおいて、一列に並んで設けられている。

一方、下側中空部品２８は、所定の長さと、前記上側中空部品２８の筒部３０が挿入可能な内径とをもって上下方向に延びる円筒状の筒部３６を更に有し、この筒部３６の下端部に対して、内部が中空の矩形の筐体部３８が、その内部空間を筒部３６の内孔内に連通せしめた状態で、一体的に設けられて、構成されている。そして、かかる下側中空部品２８が、筐体部３８の下面に設けられた複数の脚部４０において、床面に設置されるようになっている。また、このような支持体１２の下側中空部品２８における筒部３６の上端部には、雌ねじ穴４２が設けられて、この雌ねじ穴４２内に、係合ねじ４４が、螺入せしめられている。

そして、かくの如き構造とされた上側中空部品２６と下側中空部品２８とが上下方向に並んで配置されて、上側中空部品２６の筒部３０の下端部が、下側中空部品２８の筒部３６の上端部に挿入された状態下で、下側中空部品２８の筒部３６の上端部に螺入された係合ねじ４４の脚部の先端が、かかる筒部２６に挿入された上側中空部品２６の筒部３０の下部外周面に設けられる係合凹部３４の何れかの内部に突入せしめられて、係合されており、以て、上側中空部品２６と下側中空部品２８とが、一体的に組み付けられている。

これによって、支持体１２が、上側中空部品２６と下側中空部品２８とが一体的に組み付けられてなる、所定の高さを有する一体品として、構成されており、以て、天板１０が、かかる支持体１２にて、所定の高さに位置せしめられて、支持されているのである。なお、ここでは、下側中空部２８の筒部３６に対する上側中空部品２６の筒部３０の筒部の挿入量を種々変更せしめ、それに応じて、下側中空部品２８の筒部３６に螺入された係合ねじ４４の脚部の先端が突入せしめられる、上側中空部２８の筒部３６の係合凹部３４を適宜に変更することにより、支持体１２の高さ、換言すれば、天板１０の高さ位置が、複数段階において、任意に変更され得るようになっている。

また、このような支持体１２にあっては、それを構成する上側中空部品２６と下側中空部品２８とが、共に中空の内部構造を有すると共に、上側中空部品２６のホッパ部３２が、上側開口部の端面において、天板１０の作業面１４とは反対側の面における前記吸引口１６や廃棄口２０の形成部位よりも外側の外周縁部に対して、一体的に固着されていることによって、内部空間が、天板１０の吸引口１６や廃棄口２０を通じて外部に連通せしめられており、以て、支持体１２の内部空間の全体が、吸引通路４５として、構成されている。

さらに、そのような構造を有する支持体１２における下側中空部品２８の筐体部３８の内部には、隔壁４６が、筒部３６との接続部位の直下よりも、一つの側壁４８に近接する側に所定寸法偏奇した位置において、筐体部３８内の下部空間を二つに仕切るように、一体的に立設されている。また、この隔壁４６と、それに近接する側壁４８とには、互いの対向面に、係合突起５０が、それぞれ設けられている。そして、それら隔壁４６と側壁４８との間には、板状フィルタ５２が、それら両壁部４６，４８にそれぞれ設けられた係合突起５０に係合せしめられつつ、隔壁４６側に向かって下傾しつつ、隔壁４６と側壁４８とに跨って、配置されている。

これによって、下側中空部品２８の筐体部３８の内部空間が、隔壁４６と側壁４８とそれらに隣り合う二つの側壁と板状フィルタ５２とにて取り囲まれてなり、且つ板状フィルタ５２を介して、かかる筒部３６の筐体部３８への開口部に連通する設置スペース５４と、かかる設置スペース５４を除いた空間部分からなり、且つ下側中空部品２８の筒部３６の筐体部３８への開口部に直接に連通する浮遊物集合スペース５６の二つの空間部分が画成されるように仕切られている。なお、この下側中空部品２８の筐体部３８の内部空間を二つに仕切る板状フィルタ５２は、空気は通過させるものの、天板１０の作業面１４に乗せられた犬や猫に対するトリミング作業時に不可避的に生ずる、前記せる如き浮遊物を捕捉可能なフィルタ構造を有している。

また、かかる支持体１２における下側中空部品２８の筐体部３８の内部に画成された二つのスペースのうち、設置スペース５４内には、吸引装置５８が設置されている。この吸引装置５８は、例えば、公知のブロワ等からなっており、その作動に伴って、支持体１２内の空気を直接に、或いは板状フィルタ５２を通じて吸引して、支持体１２内部を負圧とすることにより、支持体１２の内部空間にて構成された吸引通路４５を介して、天板１０の吸引口１６や廃棄口２０から空気等を吸引する吸引力が作用せしめられ得るようになっている。なお、図２中、６０は、吸引装置５８にて吸引された空気を外部に排出せしめるための排気口である。また、この排気口６０にも、適当なメッシュ６２が設置されている。

一方、このような設置スペース５４と共に、下側中空部品２８の筐体部３８の内部に設けられた浮遊物集合スペース５６内には、体毛収容バスケット６４が、収納されている。この体毛収容バスケット６４は、天板１０の作業面１４上に乗せられて犬や猫のトリミングにより刈り込まれた体毛や、そのようなトリミング作業により生ずる前記浮遊物等が収容され得る大きさを有している。そして、下側中空部品２８の筒部３６の筐体部３８への開口部に向かって開口せしめられた状態で、浮遊物集合スペース５６内に位置せしめられている。

また、かかる体毛収容バスケット６４が収納される下側中空部品２８の筐体部３８の、前記隔壁４６と対向位置する側壁には、体毛収容バスケット６４を外部に取り出すための取出口６６が設けられている。更に、この取出口６６は、開閉扉６８にて任意に開閉せしめられ得るようになっている。

かくして、本実施形態のトリミングテーブルにあっては、犬や猫等の動物が、天板１０の作業面１４の内周部における作業スペースに乗せられて、それらの動物に対するトリミング作業が行なわれる際に、支持体１２の筐体部３８内に設置された吸引装置５８が作動せしめられるのに伴って、天板１０の作業面１４上の動物から刈り込まれた体毛のうちの微細なものや、それらの動物の体毛に付着した埃、ふけ、ダニ等、トリミング作業時に不可避的に発生して、空中に浮遊する浮遊物が、支持体１２の内部空間にて構成される吸引通路４５を介して作用せしめられる吸引力により、図１に実線の矢印で示されるように、天板１０の作業面１４において開口する吸引口１６から、空気と共に、吸引通路４５内に吸引されるようになっている。そして、この支持体１２の吸引通路４５内に吸引された浮遊物は、支持体１２の筐体部３８内に設置された板状フィルタ５２にて捕捉されるか、または体毛収容バスケット６４内に落下して、収容せしめられるようになっている。

また、このようなトリミングテーブルでは、天板１０の作業面１４上の動物に対するトリミング作業中、或いはその作業後に、作業面１４に設けられた廃棄口２０に嵌め込まれている蓋部材２２を取り外して、廃棄口２０を開放せしめた状態下で、トリミング作業にて刈り込まれた動物の体毛を、かかる廃棄口２０内に落とし込むことにより、そのような動物の体毛が、吸引装置５８の作動に伴って作用せしめられる吸引力に基づいて、図１に破線の矢印で示されるように、空気と共に、廃棄口２０から吸引通路４５内に吸引されるようになっている。そして、この支持体１２の吸引通路４５内に吸引された体毛や浮遊物等は、体毛収容バスケット６４内に落下して、収容せしめられるようになっている。このことから明らかなように、ここでは、体毛収容バスケット６４が設置される浮遊物集合スペース５６にて、体毛集合スペースが構成されているのである。

なお、支持体１２内の吸引通路４５内に吸引されて、体毛収容バスケット６４内に収容された体毛や浮遊物等は、トリミング作業の終了後や、次回のトリミング作業の開始前等に、吸引装置５８の作動が停止せしめられた状態下で、開閉扉６８が開けられて、体毛収容バスケット６４が取出口６６から取り出されることにより、体毛収容バスケット６４内から廃棄処分される。また、支持体１２内に設置されて、浮遊物が捕捉された板状フィルタ５２も、トリミング作業の終了後や、次回のトリミング作業の開始前等に、吸引装置５８の作動が停止せしめられた状態下で、支持体１２の筐体部３８に設けられた、図示しない取出口を通じて外部に取り出されて、新しい板状フィルタ５２と交換されることとなる。更に、体毛や浮遊物を吸引させる吸引力を発揮する吸引装置５８は、例えば、天板１０の作業面１４とは反対側の面に設けられた、図示しないスイッチ等によって、その作動の起動／停止や吸引力の大きさの変更等が操作されるようになっている。

このように、本実施形態のトリミングテーブルにあっては、天板１０の作業面１４に乗せられた動物のトリミング作業時に不可避的に生ずる浮遊物が、吸引装置５８の作動に伴って、吸引口１６から、支持体１２の内部の吸引通路４５内に吸引され、そして、支持体１２の筐体部３８内に配設された板状フィルタ５２にて捕捉されるか、若しくは体毛収容バスケット６４内に収容せしめられるようになっているところから、トリミング作業の行なう者が、そのような浮遊物を吸い込んでしまうようなことが効果的に解消され得るのであり、また、そのような浮遊物が、作業場所内に飛散せしめられるようことも、有利に回避され得るのである。

従って、かくの如き本実施形態のトリミングテーブルを用いれば、トリミング作業時に生ずる浮遊物の吸込みによって、作業者の健康が損なわれることが効果的に防止され得るのであり、しかも、そのような浮遊物の飛散によって、トリミングの作業場所の衛生環境が悪化することも、未然に防止され得るのである。そして、その結果として、トリミング作業者の安全の確保と、その作業場所の衛生環境の保全とが、極めて効果的に実現せしめられ得ることとなるのである。

また、本実施形態のトリミングテーブルにあっては、吸引口１６が、天板１０の作業面１４の外周部に、作業面の作業スペースを取り囲みつつ、周方向に連続して延びる円環形状を有して、構成されているため、トリミング作業時に生ずる浮遊物が、より確実に且つ効率的に吸引され得るのである。

さらに、かかるトリミングテーブルにおいては、吸引口１６に、メッシュ１８が設置されて、トリミング作業時に生ずる浮遊物は、吸引口１６から吸引されるものの、天板１０の作業面１４上に乗せられた動物の手足や爪等が、吸引口１６内に入り込まないようになっているところから、トリミング作業中に、動物の体の一部が吸引口１６に入り込んで、動物が傷付いたり、動物がそれに驚いて暴れたりする等して、作業が中断したり、或いは継続出来なくなったりするようなことが、未然に防止され得るのである。

更にまた、本実施形態のトリミングテーブルでは、トリミング作業で刈り込まれた動物の体毛も、天板１０に設けられた廃棄口２０を通じて吸引されるようになっているところから、天板１０の作業面１４に散乱する体毛の後始末が、極めて容易となるのである。

また、かかるトリミングテーブルにおいては、支持体１２の内部に、板状フィルタ５２と体毛収容バスケット６４とが設置されて、吸引口１６や廃棄口２０から吸引された浮遊物や体毛が、それら板状フィルタ５２と体毛収容バスケット６４とに捕捉乃至は収容されるようになっており、しかも、板状フィルタ５２が容易に交換され得ると共に、体毛収容バスケット６４も、取出口６６を通じて容易に出入れされ得るようになっている。それ故、トリミング作業で生ずる浮遊物や体毛の廃棄処理が、極めて容易に且つ迅速に行なわれ得るのである。

さらに、このようなトリミングテーブルでは、支持体１２内において、板状フィルタ５２と隔壁４６とにて画成された設置スペース５４内に、吸引装置５８が設置されていることによって、吸引口１６や廃棄口２０から吸引された浮遊物や体毛等によって、吸引装置５８が汚染されたり、故障したりするようなことが、有利に防止され得るのである。

更にまた、本実施形態のトリミングテーブルにおいては、トリミング作業の間、廃棄口２０が、蓋部材２２にて覆蓋されるようになっているため、トリミング作業中に、吸引口１６を通じて作用せしめられる吸引力が十分に大きく為され得て、浮遊物が、より確実に吸引され得るのである。

以上、本発明の具体的な構成について詳述してきたが、これはあくまでも例示に過ぎないのであって、本発明は、上記の記載によって、何等の制約をも受けるものではない。

例えば、天板１０の作業面１４に設けられる吸引口１６や廃棄口２０の形状や個数、或いは配設位置等は、適宜に変更され得るものである。なお、廃棄口２０は、本発明において、必須のものではない。

また、天板１０や支持体１２の全体形状や、支持体１２による天板１０の支持構造等も、前記実施形態に示されるものに、何等限定されるものでないことは、言うまでもないところである。
