<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start up an installed specified program to execute specified processing, by selecting only a specified choice in a web page. <P>SOLUTION: A specified form of file is correlated with a financial transaction support program, when installing the financial transaction support program onto a client PC. A file of a specified file name for executing the specified form and the specified processing is transmitted from a web server when the choice is selected under the condition where the web page added with the choice for executing the specified processing is displayed on a display of the client PC, after starting the program, and the program is started up in the client PC receiving the file. 【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明はプログラム起動制御装置、方法及びプログラムに係り、特に、通信回線を介して接続されたクライアント・コンピュータにインストールされているプログラムを起動させるためのプログラム起動制御方法、該プログラム起動制御方法が適用されたプログラム起動制御装置及びプログラムに関する。

【従来の技術】
近年、家庭や企業に設置されたクライアント・コンピュータを操作することで、銀行等の金融機関が提供するサービスを公衆電話回線等の通信回線を介してオンラインで利用するエレクトロニック・バンキング（以下、ＥＢという）が普及してきている（なお、企業向けのＥＢを特にファーム・バンキングともいう）。このＥＢにより、金融機関の顧客は、金融機関の支店等に出向くことなく、預金の残高照会、入出金照会、口座振り込み、振り替え等の様々な金融取引をオンラインで行うことが可能となる。また、本願出願人等はＥＢを利用して金融取引を行う顧客の操作性を向上させる技術も提案している（特許文献１参照）。

ところでＥＢは、所望の金融取引を行わせるための金融取引指示情報を顧客がクライアント・コンピュータ上で作成した後に、クライアント・コンピュータをホスト・コンピュータ等に接続し、作成した金融取引指示情報を送信することで金融取引の実行指示が成されるため、ＥＢを利用して金融取引を行うためには、ＥＢ専用のプログラム（クライアント・コンピュータ上で金融取引指示情報を生成して送信するためのプログラム）をクライアント・コンピュータにインストールする必要があると共に、上記プログラムの操作にも習熟する必要がある。

このため、金融機関は、より簡易にオンラインでの金融取引を実現するための金融取引用ウェブサイトも開設している。この金融取引用ウェブサイトは、クライアント・コンピュータがインターネットに接続可能な環境でかつブラウザ（閲覧ソフト）がインストールされていれば利用可能であり、金融取引用ウェブサイトのウェブページ上で必要な情報を入力することで、金融取引の実行を指示するための情報を送信することができるので、ＥＢのように専用のアプリケーション・プログラムをインストールする必要はなく、操作も比較的簡単であるという利点を有する。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
但し、金融取引用ウェブサイトを利用した金融取引は、本来はハイパーテキストの閲覧等のために開発されたウェブ技術を利用しているため、大量データの送受に向いていない等の欠点があり、現状では、実行可能な金融取引が比較的簡易な金融取引に限られていると共に、１回の操作で実行可能な金融取引の件数にも制限がある。このため、業務上、様々な金融取引を日々行っている顧客が前記様々な金融取引をオンラインで行いたい場合、現状では、クライアント・コンピュータにはＥＢ専用のプログラムをインストールしておき、例えば外国為替取引等の複雑な金融取引や１度に多数の金融取引を行う場合にはＥＢを利用し、それ以外の金融取引には金融取引用ウェブサイトを利用する等のように、実行する金融取引の内容や件数に応じて、ＥＢを利用するか金融取引用ウェブサイトを利用するかを適宜選択する必要がある。

しかし、金融取引用ウェブサイトを利用した金融取引にはブラウザが用いられるのに対し、ＥＢを利用した金融取引にはＥＢ専用のプログラムが用いられるので、クライアント・コンピュータ上で起動すべきプログラムが、ＥＢを利用して金融取引を行う場合と金融取引用ウェブサイトを利用して金融取引を行う場合とで相違している。従って、顧客が或る金融取引を実行したい場合、実行したい金融取引がＥＢと金融取引用ウェブサイトの何れによって実現されるのかを判断して起動すべきプログラムを選択する必要があるので、操作が非常に煩雑である。

このため、顧客が所望の金融取引を実現するために起動すべきプログラムを意識することなく、所望の金融取引を実行できるシームレスな操作環境を実現することが望まれている。上記の操作環境は、ＥＢを利用した金融取引の際に表示される画面に、金融取引用ウェブサイトを利用した金融取引の際に表示される画面へジャンプするリンクを設けておくと共に、金融取引用ウェブサイトを利用した金融取引の際に表示される画面にも、ＥＢを利用した金融取引の際に表示される画面へジャンプするリンクを設けておき、画面上のリンクが選択された場合には選択されたリンクに対応する画面に切り替わるようにすることで達成できる。

しかしながら、ＥＢを利用した金融取引のための画面が表示されている状態で所定のリンクが選択された場合に、選択されたリンクに対応する金融取引用ウェブサイトの特定のウェブページを表示させることは、ＥＢ専用のプログラムにブラウザを組み込む（リンクが選択された場合には、アプリケーション・プログラム向けに提供されているインタフェースを使ってブラウザのプログラムを呼び出すように構成する）ことで容易に実現できるものの、ブラウザによってウェブページを閲覧している状態でウェブページ内の特定のリンクが選択されると、コンピュータにインストールされているアプリケーション・プログラムを起動して選択された特定リンクに対応する処理を実行させることを実現している例はなく、金融取引用ウェブサイトのウェブページが表示されている状態で所定のリンクが選択された場合に、ＥＢを利用した金融取引のための画面のうち、選択されたリンクに対応する画面を表示させることは困難であった。

本発明は上記事実を考慮して成されたもので、クライアント・コンピュータの表示装置に表示されているウェブページ内の特定の選択肢を選択するのみで、クライアント・コンピュータにインストールされている特定プログラムを起動して特定処理を実行させることができるプログラム起動制御装置、プログラム起動制御方法及びプログラムを得ることが目的である。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために請求項１記載の発明に係るプログラム起動制御装置は、クライアント・コンピュータと通信回線を介して接続されたプログラム起動制御装置であって、前記クライアント・コンピュータへインストールされる特定プログラムには、前記クライアント・コンピュータへのインストール時に特定形式のファイルを前記特定プログラムと関連付ける設定を行う第１の機能、及び、前記特定形式のファイルに対して所定のアクションを行うために起動された場合に、実行可能な複数種の処理のうち前記ファイルのファイル名に対応する処理を実行する第２の機能が付加されており、前記クライアント・コンピュータから通信回線を介して所定のウェブページの閲覧が要求された場合に、前記特定プログラムを起動させて特定処理を実行させるための選択肢を付加した所定のウェブページを前記閲覧要求元のクライアント・コンピュータの表示装置に表示させる表示制御手段と、前記閲覧要求元のクライアント・コンピュータの表示装置に前記選択肢が付加された所定のウェブページが表示された状態で前記選択肢が選択された場合に、前記特定形式でかつ前記特定処理を実行させるための特定ファイル名のファイルを前記閲覧要求元のクライアント・コンピュータへ送信することで、前記閲覧要求元のクライアント・コンピュータ上で前記特定プログラムを起動させて前記特定処理を実行させる起動制御手段と、を含んで構成されている。

請求項１記載の発明において、クライアント・コンピュータへインストールされる特定プログラム（請求項１記載の発明に係るプログラム起動制御装置による起動制御対象のプログラム）には、クライアント・コンピュータへのインストール時に特定形式のファイルを特定プログラムと関連付ける設定を行う第１の機能、及び、特定形式のファイルに対して所定のアクションを行うために起動された場合に、実行可能な複数種の処理のうちファイルのファイル名に対応する処理を実行する第２の機能が付加されており、特定プログラムがインストールされたクライアント・コンピュータは、特定プログラムの第１の機能により、特定形式のファイルが特定プログラムと関連付けされた状態になる。

なお、所定のアクションは、クライアント・コンピュータが特定形式のファイルを受信した場合に、受信した特定形式のファイルに対して自動的に行われるアクション（例えば「開く（ｏｐｅｎ）」等）であればよく、第１の機能では、特定プログラムを、少なくとも特定形式のファイルに対する所定のアクションと関連付ければよい（特定形式のファイルに対して所定のアクションを行う場合に特定プログラムが起動されるようにすればよい）。また、特定プログラムの一例としては、例えば請求項２に記載したように、クライアント・コンピュータを介してオンラインでの金融取引を実現するための金融取引支援プログラムが挙げられるが、他のアプリケーション・プログラムであってもよい。

一方、請求項１記載の発明に係るプログラム起動制御装置は、クライアント・コンピュータと通信回線（例えばインターネット）を介して接続されており、例えばウェブ・サーバをプログラム起動制御装置として機能させることができる。請求項１記載の発明では、クライアント・コンピュータから通信回線を介して所定のウェブページの閲覧が要求された場合、表示制御手段は、特定プログラムを起動させて特定処理を実行させるための選択肢を付加した所定のウェブページを閲覧要求元のクライアント・コンピュータの表示装置に表示させる。これにより、特定処理を実行させることも可能であることを、クライアント・コンピュータの操作者に認識させることができる。なお、所定のウェブページには、特定プログラムに互いに異なる処理を実行させるための複数種の選択肢が付加されていてもよいことは言うまでもない。

そして、閲覧要求元のクライアント・コンピュータの表示装置に前記選択肢が付加された所定のウェブページが表示された状態で、クライアント・コンピュータの操作者によって前記選択肢が選択された場合、起動制御手段は、特定形式でかつ特定処理を実行させるための特定ファイル名のファイルを閲覧要求元のクライアント・コンピュータへ送信する。なお、プログラム起動制御装置から送信されるファイルは、クライアント・コンピュータ上で特定プログラムを起動させて特定処理を実行させるためのファイルであるので、クライアント・コンピュータ側でファイルの形式及びファイル名が判別可能であればよく、ファイル本体のサイズは０バイトでもよい。

プログラム起動制御装置から特定形式かつ特定ファイル名のファイルが送信されることで、該ファイルを受信したクライアント・コンピュータ側では、受信した特定形式のファイルに対して所定のアクションを自動的に行うために、特定形式のファイルと関連付けられた特定プログラムが起動される。また、受信したファイルのファイル名は、特定処理を実行させるための特定ファイル名であるので、起動された所定のプログラムに付加されている第２の機能により、ファイルのファイル名に対応する処理、すなわち特定処理が実行されることになる。

このように、請求項１記載の発明によれば、クライアント・コンピュータの操作者が、クライアント・コンピュータの表示装置に表示されているウェブページ内の特定の選択肢（特定処理を実行させるための選択肢）を選択する操作を行うのみで、クライアント・コンピュータにインストールされている特定プログラムを起動して特定処理を実行させることを自動的に行うことができ、操作者が特定プログラムを起動して特定処理の実行を指示する操作を行う必要がないので、シームレスな操作環境を実現することができる。

なお、請求項１記載の発明において、特定プログラムが、クライアント・コンピュータを介してオンラインでの金融取引を実現するための金融取引支援プログラム（例えば所望の金融取引の実行を指示するための情報をクライアント・コンピュータ上で生成した後に特定のコンピュータへ送信することで、所望の金融取引の実行を指示する金融取引支援プログラム）である場合、特定プログラムが実行可能な複数種の処理としては、例えば請求項２に記載したように、互いに異なる金融取引に関連する処理が実行可能な処理の選択肢として一覧表示された複数種のメニュー画面の何れかを表示させる処理を適用することができる。この場合、特定プログラムに互いに異なる処理を実行させるための複数種の選択肢を所定のウェブページに付加しておくことで、複数種の選択肢の何れが選択されたかに応じて、クライアント・コンピュータの表示装置に表示されるメニュー画面が切り替わり、特定の金融取引に関連する処理が実行可能な処理の選択肢として一覧表示されたメニュー画面が表示されることになる。

請求項３記載の発明は、請求項１記載の発明において、特定プログラムには、クライアント・コンピュータへのインストール時に特定プログラムがインストールされていることを表す識別情報をクライアント・コンピュータの記憶手段に記憶させる第３の機能も付加されており、表示制御手段は、閲覧要求元のクライアント・コンピュータの記憶手段に前記識別情報が記憶されているか否かに基づき閲覧要求元のクライアント・コンピュータに特定プログラムがインストールされているか否かを確認し、閲覧要求元のクライアント・コンピュータに特定プログラムがインストールされていない場合には、閲覧要求元のクライアント・コンピュータの表示装置に、選択肢が付加されていないウェブページを表示させることを特徴としている。

請求項３記載の発明において、特定プログラムに付加されている第３の機能によってクライアント・コンピュータの記憶手段に記憶される識別情報としては、例えば請求項４に記載したクッキーのファイルを適用することができる。また、記憶手段に識別情報が記憶されているか否かに応じて表示装置に異なるウェブページ（選択肢が付加されている／付加されていないウェブページ）を表示させることは、例えば閲覧要求元のクライアント・コンピュータへウェブページとして送信するデータに、記憶手段に識別情報が記憶されているか否かを確認し、確認結果に応じて前記選択肢を選択的に表示させる処理を行うプログラムを予め埋め込んでおき（例えばウェブページを規定するＨＴＭＬのテキストに、Ｊａｖａ（Ｒ）Ｓｃｒｉｐｔ等のスクリプト言語で記述したスクリプト（上記処理を実現するスクリプト）を書き込んでおく等）、該データを送信することによって実現できる。また、ＣＧＩ（ＣｏｍｍｏｎＧａｔｅｗａｙＩｎｔｅｒｆａｃｅ）を利用して、上記の処理をプログラム起動制御装置側で行うように構成することも可能である。

請求項３記載の発明では、クライアント・コンピュータに特定プログラムがインストールされていない場合、すなわちクライアント・コンピュータが選択肢に対応する特定処理を実行できない状態である場合には、前記選択肢が付加されていないウェブページが表示装置に表示されることになるので、表示されたウェブページを参照したクライアント・コンピュータの操作者が、ウェブページに付加されている選択肢に基づきクライアント・コンピュータの状態を特定処理を実行可能な状態と誤認することを防止することができる。

なお、閲覧要求元のクライアント・コンピュータに特定プログラムがインストールされていない場合に、選択肢が付加されていないウェブページを表示装置に表示させることに代えて、前記選択肢を、無効な選択肢であることが容易に判別可能な表示方法で表示する（例えば有効な選択肢と比較して輝度或いは彩度を低下させて表示する等）ようにしてもよい。

請求項５記載の発明に係るプログラム起動制御方法は、クライアント・コンピュータへインストールされる特定プログラムに、前記クライアント・コンピュータへのインストール時に特定形式のファイルを前記特定プログラムと関連付ける設定を行う第１の機能、及び、前記特定形式のファイルに対して所定のアクションを行うために起動された場合に、実行可能な複数種の処理のうち前記ファイルのファイル名に対応する処理を実行する第２の機能を付加しておき、クライアント・コンピュータと通信回線を介して接続されたプログラム起動装置に対し、前記クライアント・コンピュータから通信回線を介して所定のウェブページの閲覧が要求された場合に、前記特定プログラムを起動させて特定処理を実行させるための選択肢を付加した所定のウェブページを前記閲覧要求元のクライアント・コンピュータの表示装置に表示させ、前記閲覧要求元のクライアント・コンピュータの表示装置に前記選択肢が付加された所定のウェブページが表示された状態で前記選択肢が選択された場合に、前記特定形式でかつ前記特定処理を実行させるための特定ファイル名のファイルを前記閲覧要求元のクライアント・コンピュータへ送信することで、前記閲覧要求元のクライアント・コンピュータ上で前記特定プログラムを起動させて前記特定処理を実行させるので、請求項１記載の発明と同様に、クライアント・コンピュータの表示装置に表示されているウェブページ内の特定の選択肢を選択するのみで、クライアント・コンピュータにインストールされている特定プログラムを起動して特定処理を実行させることができる。

請求項６記載の発明に係るプログラムは、請求項１乃至請求項４の何れか１項記載のプログラム起動制御装置と通信回線を介して接続されたクライアント・コンピュータにインストール可能なプログラムであって、前記クライアント・コンピュータに、前記クライアント・コンピュータへのインストール時に、特定形式のファイルを前記プログラムと関連付ける設定を行う第１の機能、及び、前記クライアント・コンピュータの表示装置に、前記プログラムを起動させて特定処理を実行させるための選択肢が付加された所定のウェブページが表示されている状態で前記選択肢が選択されることで、前記プログラム起動制御装置から前記特定形式でかつ前記特定処理を実行させるための特定ファイル名のファイルが送信され、該ファイルが前記クライアント・コンピュータで受信され、前記ファイルに対して所定のアクションを行うために前記プログラムが起動された場合に、実行可能な複数種の処理のうち前記ファイルのファイル名に対応する処理を実行する第２の機能を実現させることを特徴としている。

請求項６記載の発明に係るプログラムは、請求項１乃至請求項４の何れか１項記載のプログラム起動制御装置と通信回線を介して接続されたクライアント・コンピュータにインストール可能なプログラムであり、クライアント・コンピュータへの請求項６記載の発明に係るプログラムのインストール時に上記第１の機能が実現され、プログラム起動制御装置から特定形式でかつ特定処理を実行させるための特定ファイル名のファイルが送信され、該ファイルがクライアント・コンピュータで受信され、前記ファイルに対して所定のアクションを行うために請求項６記載の発明に係るプログラムが起動された際に上記第２の機能が実現されるので、請求項１記載の発明と同様に、クライアント・コンピュータの表示装置に表示されているウェブページ内の特定の選択肢を選択するのみで、クライアント・コンピュータにインストールされている特定プログラムを起動して特定処理を実行させることができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面を参照して本発明の実施形態の一例を詳細に説明する。図１には本発明を適用可能なコンピュータ・システム１０が示されている。

本実施形態に係るコンピュータ・システム１０は、多数台のウェブサーバが通信回線を介して相互に接続されて成るコンピュータ・ネットワーク（インターネット）１２に、各々パーソナル・コンピュータ（ＰＣ）から成る多数台のクライアントＰＣ１４が接続されて構成されている。なお、図１では、インターネット１２の多数台のウェブサーバのうち、本発明に係るプログラム起動制御装置として機能するウェブサーバに、符号「１６」を付して示しており、このウェブサーバ１６には、特定金融機関に設置されたホスト・コンピュータ４０が接続されている。

クライアントＰＣ１４は、ＣＰＵ１４Ａ、ＲＯＭ１４Ｂ、ＲＡＭ１４Ｃ及び入出力ポート１４Ｄを備え、これらはデータバス、制御バス、アドレスバス等から成るバス１４Ｅを介して互いに接続されている。また入出力ポート１４Ｅには、各種の入出力機器として、インターネット１２に接続された通信制御装置１７、ＣＲＴ又はＬＣＤから成るディスプレイ１８、キーボード２０、マウス２２、ハードディスクドライブ（ＨＤＤ）２４、ＣＤ−ＲＯＭ２８からの情報の読み出しを行うＣＤ−ＲＯＭドライブ２６が各々接続されている。

一方、ウェブサーバ１６はワークステーションから成り、ＣＰＵ１６Ａ、ＲＯＭ１６Ｂ、ＲＡＭ１６Ｃ及び入出力ポート１６Ｄを備え、これらは互いにデータバス、制御バス、アドレスバス等から成るバス１６Ｅを介して互いに接続されている。また入出力ポート１６Ｄには、各種の入出力機器として、インターネット１２に接続された通信制御装置３０、ＣＲＴ又はＬＣＤから成るディスプレイ３２、キーボード３４、マウス３６及びＨＤＤ３８が各々接続されている。なお、ホスト・コンピュータ４０は通信制御装置３０に接続されている。

ところで、本実施形態において、ホスト・コンピュータ４０が設置された特定金融機関は、顧客がオンラインで金融取引を行うことを可能とするサービスとして、ウェブサーバ１６により２種類のオンライン金融取引サービスを提供している。第１のオンライン金融取引サービスは、オンライン金融取引用ウェブサイトを利用して顧客からのオンラインでの金融取引の実行指示を受け付けるサービスであり、ウェブサーバ１６のＨＤＤ３８には、オンライン金融取引用ウェブサイトを構成する各ウェブページの情報が記憶されており、オンライン金融取引用ウェブサイトを運営するための金融取引用ウェブサイト運営プログラムもインストールされている。

なお、金融取引用ウェブサイト運営プログラムをウェブサーバ１６にインストール（移入）するには幾つかの方法があるが、例えば金融取引用ウェブサイト運営プログラムをセットアッププログラムと共にＣＤ−ＲＯＭに記録しておき、該ＣＤ−ＲＯＭをウェブサーバ１６の図示しないＣＤ−ＲＯＭドライブにセットし、ＣＰＵ１６Ａに対して前記セットアッププログラムの実行を指示すれば、ＣＤ−ＲＯＭから金融取引用ウェブサイト運営プログラムが順に読み出され、読み出された金融取引用ウェブサイト運営プログラムがＨＤＤ３８に順に書き込まれることで、金融取引用ウェブサイト運営プログラムのインストールが行われる。

第１のオンライン金融取引サービスを利用した金融取引（以下「第１のオンライン金融取引」と称する）では、顧客がクライアントＰＣ１４を介しブラウザによってオンライン金融取引用ウェブサイトのウェブページを閲覧し、該ウェブページ上で必要な情報を入力することで、顧客が所望している金融取引の実行を指示するための情報（以下「第１の金融取引指示情報」と称する）がクライアントＰＣ１４からウェブサーバ１６へ送信される。そして、この第１の金融取引指示情報がウェブサーバ１６からホスト・コンピュータ４０へ転送されることで、顧客から指示された金融取引が特定金融機関で行われる。

また、第２のオンライン金融取引サービスは従来のＥＢに相当するサービスであり、第２のオンライン金融取引サービスを利用した金融取引（以下「第２のオンライン金融取引」と称する）では、クライアントＰＣ１４に専用のプログラム（金融取引支援プログラム：この金融取引支援プログラムは請求項１記載の特定プログラム（詳しくは請求項２及び請求項３に記載の特定プログラム）及び請求項６記載の発明に係るプログラムに各々対応している）を予めインストールしておき、金融取引の実行を指示するための情報（以下「第２の金融取引指示情報」と称する）が金融取引支援プログラムを利用して顧客によりクライアントＰＣ１４上で予め作成され、作成された第２の金融取引指示情報を受信することで、顧客からのオンラインでの金融取引の実行指示を受け付けるサービスである。

従来のＥＢでは、クライアントＰＣ１４から公衆電話回線を介して送信された金融取引指示情報をホスト・コンピュータ４０が直接受信していたが、本実施形態に係る第２のオンライン金融取引サービスでは、第２の金融取引指示情報がクライアントＰＣ１４からインターネット１２を介してウェブサーバ１６へ送信され、ウェブサーバ１６で受信された第２の金融取引指示情報がホスト・コンピュータ４０へ転送されることで、顧客から指示された金融取引が特定金融機関で行われる。

次に本実施形態の作用を説明する。本実施形態において、特定金融機関が提供する第１のオンライン金融取引サービス及び第２のオンライン金融取引サービスの少なくとも一方を利用しようとしている顧客は、所定の利用申込書に必要事項を記入して特定金融機関へ提出することで、個々のオンライン金融取引サービスを単位として利用を申し込む。特定金融機関では、利用申込書を提出した顧客に対してユーザＩＤとパスワード等から成る認証情報を付与し、顧客に通知する。またＨＤＤ３８には個々の顧客の認証情報を登録するための認証情報データベース（ＤＢ）が記憶されており、新たな顧客から利用申し込みがある毎に、新たな顧客に対して付与した認証情報を上記の認証情報ＤＢに追加登録する。

なお、第１のオンライン金融取引サービス及び第２のオンライン金融取引サービスを各々利用する顧客に対しては、上記の認証情報を個々の金融サービス毎に別々に付与するようにしてもよいし、単一の認証情報を第１のオンライン金融取引サービスと第２のオンライン金融取引サービスで共通に用いてもよい。

また、特定金融機関は、第２のオンライン金融取引サービスの利用を申し込んだ顧客に対し、第２のオンライン金融取引サービスを利用するために必要となる金融取引支援プログラムを、該金融取引支援プログラムをクライアントＰＣ１４にインストールするためのセットアップ・プログラムと共に配布する。金融取引支援プログラム及びセットアップ・プログラムの配布は、例えば金融取引支援プログラム及びセットアップ・プログラムを記録したＣＤ−ＲＯＭ３８を前記顧客へ郵送することで実現できるが、これに代えて、顧客により、金融取引支援プログラム及びセットアップ・プログラムをウェブサーバ１６からクライアントＰＣ１４にダウンロードさせることで配布するようにしてもよい。

すなわち、特定形式のファイルのファイルタイプ及び拡張子を、ＯＳが管理している管理テーブルに登録すると共に、該特定形式のファイルに対する所定のアクション（クライアントＰＣ１４がウェブサーバ１６から特定形式のファイルを受信した場合に、受信した特定形式のファイルに対して自動的に行われるアクション（本実施形態では「開く（ｏｐｅｎ）」を一例として説明する））が行われる際に起動すべきプログラムとして、金融取引支援プログラムを登録する。また、ＯＳが管理している管理テーブルは、「ダウンロード後に開く確認をする」か否かをファイルタイプ毎に設定可能とされている（この設定を「有効」とした場合、ファイルのダウンロード後に、ダウンロードしたファイルを「開く（ｏｐｅｎ）」かを確認するための確認ダイヤログが表示される）が、ステップ６８では、登録した特定形式のファイルについての上記設定を「無効」とする処理も行う。これにより、クライアントＰＣ１４がウェブサーバ１６から特定形式のファイルを受信すると、金融取引支援プログラムが自動的に起動されることになる。なお、ステップ６８は本発明に係る第１の機能に対応している。

次のステップ７０では、所定の識別情報を含んで構成され、ブラウザからクッキーのファイルとして認識されるファイルを生成し、生成したファイルをクライアントＰＣ１４のＨＤＤ２４の所定のディレクトリ（クライアントＰＣ１４の環境でブラウザによってクッキーのファイルが格納されるディレクトリ）に記憶させる。なお、上記のファイルはクライアントＰＣ１４に金融取引支援プログラムがインストールされているか否かを識別するために用いられるファイル（詳細は後述する）であり、以下ではインストール識別用クッキーファイルと称する。ステップ７０は請求項３に記載の第３の機能に対応しており、インストール識別用クッキーファイルは請求項３に記載の識別情報に対応している。

上述したステップ５０〜ステップ７０により金融取引支援プログラムのインストールが完了すると、次のステップ７２では、例として図７に示すように、金融取引支援プログラムのセットアップが完了したことを通知する画面をディスプレイ１８に表示する。次のステップ７４では、金融取引支援プログラムのセットアップの完了を顧客が確認したか否か判定し、判定が肯定される迄ステップ７４を繰り返す。顧客がセットアップ完了通知画面上の「完了」と表記されたボックス１２４をクリックすると、ステップ７４の判定が肯定されてステップ７６へ移行し、インストールした金融取引支援プログラムを起動し、金融取引支援プログラム・セットアップ処理を終了する。

次に、クライアントＰＣ１４を介して第１のオンライン金融取引を行う場合について説明する。第１のオンライン金融取引を行う場合、顧客はクライアントＰＣ１４上でブラウザを起動し、第１のオンライン金融取引を行うための金融取引用ウェブサイトのＵＲＬ（ＵｎｉｆｏｒｍＲｅｓｏｕｒｃｅＬｏｃａｔｏｒ）を指定する。これにより、ウェブサーバ１６に対し金融取引用ウェブサイトのうち指定したＵＲＬに対応する特定ウェブページのデータの送信を要求する情報がクライアントＰＣ１４から送信される。

ウェブサーバ１６では、クライアントＰＣ１４から何らかの情報を受信する毎に、ＣＰＵ１６Ａによって金融取引用ウェブサイト運営プログラムが実行されることで、図３に示す金融取引用ウェブサイト運営処理が実行される。この金融取引用ウェブサイト運営処理では、まずステップ８０で認証処理を行う。

本実施形態において、第１のオンライン金融取引又は第２のオンライン金融取引を行うためのクライアントＰＣ１４とウェブサーバ１６との間の情報の送受にあたっては、まず電子証明書（サーバ証明書及びクライアント証明書）を用いた相互認証が行われた後に、共通鍵を用いた暗号化通信が行われる。サーバ証明書は、ウェブサーバ１６の情報とウェブサーバ１６の公開鍵を添付して認証局に申請することによって認証局で発行される電子証明書であり、認証局の秘密鍵によって暗号化された状態でウェブサーバ１６のＨＤＤ３８に事前に保管される。また、クライアント証明書も、クライアントＰＣ１４の情報とクライアントＰＣ１４の公開鍵を添付して認証局に申請することによって認証局で発行される電子証明書であり、認証局の秘密鍵によって暗号化された状態でクライアントＰＣ１４のＨＤＤ２４に事前に保管される。また、ウェブサーバ１６のＨＤＤ３８にはウェブサーバ１６の秘密鍵及び認証局の公開鍵が事前に保管され、クライアントＰＣ１４のＨＤＤ２４にはクライアントＰＣ１４の秘密鍵、認証局及びウェブサーバ１６の公開鍵が事前に保管される。

クライアントＰＣ１４におけるウェブサーバ１６の認証は、ウェブサーバ１６から送信されたサーバ証明書を受信し、認証局の公開鍵を用いてサーバ証明書を復号化し、内容を確認することによって為される。また、ウェブサーバ１６におけるクライアントＰＣ１４の認証も、クライアントＰＣ１４から送信されたクライアント証明書を受信し、認証局の公開鍵を用いてクライアント証明書を復号化し、内容を確認することによって為される。また、共通鍵はクライアントＰＣ１４で生成され、ウェブサーバ１６の公開鍵を用いて暗号化されてウェブサーバ１６へ送信される。暗号化された共通鍵を受信したウェブサーバ１６では、保管しているウェブサーバ１６の秘密鍵を用いて共通鍵を復号化する。これにより、以降の暗号化通信に用いる共通鍵が決定される。

ステップ８０の認証処理では、情報送信元のクライアントＰＣ１４が上記の相互認証・暗号化通信に用いる共通鍵の決定が未了のクライアントＰＣ１４であった場合は、上記の相互認証及び共通鍵の決定の一連のシーケンスを行い、情報送信元のクライアントＰＣ１４が相互認証が行われ共通鍵も決定しているクライアントＰＣ１４であった場合は、クライアントＰＣ１４から受信した情報を共通鍵で復号化する。

なお、第１のオンライン金融取引を行う際に最初にアクセスされるウェブページは、ユーザＩＤ及びパスワードの入力欄が設けられ顧客にユーザＩＤ及びパスワードの入力を要請するメッセージが表示された金融取引用ウェブサイトのログオン画面であり、顧客がキーボード２０を操作し前記入力欄にユーザＩＤ及びパスワードを入力して送信を指示すると、入力されたユーザＩＤ及びパスワードがウェブサーバ１６へ送信される。

ウェブサーバ１６では、クライアントＰＣ１４からユーザＩＤ及びパスワードを受信すると金融取引用ウェブサイト運営処理が再度実行され、ステップ８０の認証処理では、受信したユーザＩＤ及びパスワードが認証情報ＤＢに登録されているか否かに基づく顧客の認証も行われる。そして、クライアントＰＣ１４の操作者が金融取引用ウェブサイトの正規の顧客であると判断した場合は、ステップ８４において、例として図８に示すように、第１のオンライン金融取引に属する各種の金融取引（例えば「円預金サービス」「承認・申請変更」「取引記録」「給与賞与振込」等）が選択肢として一覧表示された金融取引用ウェブサイトのメインメニュー画面のウェブページのデータがＨＤＤ３８から読み出され、クライアントＰＣ１４へ送信される。これにより、クライアントＰＣ１４のディスプレイ１８に上記のメインメニュー画面が表示され、第１のオンライン金融取引に属する各種の金融取引のうち所望の金融取引の実行を顧客が指示することが可能となる。

この場合は、ウェブサーバ１６で実行される金融取引用ウェブサイト運営処理のステップ８２の判定が否定されてステップ８６へ移行し、情報送信元のクライアントＰＣ１４が何らかの処理（例えば特定の金融取引の実行）を要求しているか否か判定する。判定が肯定された場合はステップ８８へ移行し、要求された処理を実行する。要求された処理が特定の金融取引の実行であれば、クライアントＰＣ１４から受信した第１の金融取引指示情報をホスト・コンピュータ４０へ転送することで、実行が指示された特定の金融取引をホスト・コンピュータ４０によって行わせる。

本実施形態では、金融取引支援プログラムのインストール時にインストール識別用クッキーファイルを生成し所定のディレクトリに記憶させているので、クライアントＰＣ１４のＨＤＤ２４にインストール識別用クッキーファイルが記憶されている場合には、金融取引支援プログラムがクライアントＰＣ１４にインストールされていると判断できる。メインメニュー画面のウェブページのデータに埋め込まれているスクリプトはこれを利用し、所定の識別情報を含んだクッキーのファイル（インストール識別用クッキーファイル）がクライアントＰＣ１４のＨＤＤ２４に記憶されているか否かをブラウザに問い合わせ、インストール識別用クッキーファイルが存在していた場合には、第２のオンライン金融取引に属する各種の金融取引をメインメニュー画面に選択肢として追加表示させる（図９の選択肢１２６Ａ〜１２６Ｃも参照）ように構成されている。

一般に、ブラウザによるウェブページの表示は、ウェブページのデータ（ウェブページのレイアウト等がＨＴＭＬで記述されたテキストデータ）を順に参照し、該データに含まれるタグを解析してウェブページ内の文字や画像等の大きさ、位置、表示色等を判断し、前記データが規定するウェブページを表すデータを生成することによって成されるが、ウェブページのデータにスクリプト（これもタグの一種）が埋め込まれていた場合には、スクリプトを実行するための所定のモジュールが起動され、該所定のモジュールによってスクリプトが解釈・実行され、スクリプトの実行結果に基づき必要に応じてウェブページの表示を切り替えるようになっている。

従って、金融取引支援プログラムがインストールされているクライアントＰＣ１４で金融取引用ウェブサイトのメインメニュー画面のウェブページのデータが受信された場合には、図８に示すメインメニュー画面に代えて、図９に示すように選択肢１２６Ａ〜１２６Ｃが追加表示されたメインメニュー画面がディスプレイ１８に表示されることになり、選択肢に対応する金融取引（第２のオンライン金融取引に属する金融取引）も実行可能であることを顧客に容易に認識させることができる。なお、上記のスクリプトが埋め込まれたウェブページのデータをウェブサーバ１６が送信する際の金融取引用ウェブサイト運営処理のステップ８４は本発明に係る表示制御手段に対応している。

第２のオンライン金融取引に属する所望の金融取引を行うために、選択肢１２６Ａ〜１２６Ｃのうち所望の金融取引に対応する選択肢を顧客が選択すると、選択された選択肢に対応するトリガ情報の送信を要求する情報がウェブサーバ１６へ送信される。この場合はウェブサーバ１６で実行される金融取引用ウェブサイト運営処理のステップ８２，８６の判定が各々否定されてステップ９２へ移行し、特定形式でかつ選択された選択肢に対応するファイル名のトリガ情報をＨＤＤ３８から読み出し、情報送信元のクライアントＰＣ１４へ送信して金融取引用ウェブサイト運営処理を終了する。なお、ステップ９２は本発明に係る起動制御手段に対応している。

金融取引支援処理では、ステップ１００において、金融取引支援プログラムが今回起動された要因が、特定形式のファイル（トリガ情報）に対して所定のアクション”ｏｐｅｎ”を行うためであるか否か判定する。例えばＯＳが提供するスタートメニューから金融取引支援プログラムが選択されて起動された等のように、金融取引支援プログラムが通常の起動方法で起動された場合には、ステップ１００の判定が否定されてステップ１０２へ移行し、金融取引支援プログラムのインストール時にクライアントＰＣ１４のＨＤＤ２４に記憶されたメインメニュー画面（例として図１０を参照）のデータを読み込み、読み込んだデータに基づいてディスプレイ１８にメインメニュー画面を表示させる。

図１１に示すメニュー画面は、金融取引用ウェブサイトのメインメニュー画面（図９）が表示されている状態で、選択肢１２６Ａが選択されることで表示されるメニュー画面（「総合振込」に関連する各種の金融取引が選択肢として一覧表示されたメニュー画面）である。このメニュー画面は、金融取引支援プログラムのメインメニュー画面（図１０）が表示されている状態で「総合振込」と表記された選択肢１２８Ａが選択された場合にも表示されるが、この場合は、金融取引支援プログラムを起動し、表示されたメニュー画面内の選択肢１２８Ａを選択する、という２段階の操作を行う必要があるのに対し、本実施形態では、金融取引用ウェブサイトのメインメニュー画面（図９）が表示されている状態で、選択肢１２６Ａ〜１２６Ｃの何れかを選択する操作を行うのみで、金融取引支援プログラムが自動的に起動され選択した選択肢に対応するメニュー画面が表示されるので、オンライン金融取引を行うにあたっての操作性を大幅に向上させることができる。
