Abstract
Description
【0001】

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, when the guide information of the facility is provided when approaching the facility targeted for sightseeing guidance, the facility will not be overlooked. Some can be enjoyed just by looking at the exterior, such as high-rise towers, temples, and baseball fields, while others, such as zoos and museums, cannot be enjoyed just by looking at the exterior. Zoos and museums are enjoyed by visiting and entering the facilities and seeing the animals in the garden and the exhibits on the premises.
[0011]
Therefore, even when approaching a zoo or a museum, if it is not possible to stop at these facilities, it is considered that the need to provide guidance information on these facilities is not so high. For example, even if guidance information such as a zoo or a museum is provided on the way from Osaka to Fukuoka by car, around Okayama or Hiroshima (that is, far from the destination), such information is not very useful for the crew. Is not high.
[0012]
Even if information about the zoo's opening time and closing time is provided as guidance information about the zoo etc. around the destination, if the closing time has passed or the day is closed, The information is still not very useful to the crew. Providing guidance information on these facilities and the like is also very effective in overcoming boredom while traveling, but the guidance target object for sightseeing guidance is not always present around the vehicle. In particular, when it is out of the city area, the possibility is high.
[0013]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and can provide guidance information of facilities and the like targeted for sightseeing guidance in a more suitable manner according to the situation of the information providing partner, The purpose of the present invention is to provide a navigation device that can produce a drive happily.
[0014]
Means for Solving the Problems and Their Effects
In order to achieve the above object, a navigation device (1) according to the present invention provides a navigation object to be guided based on a positional relationship between a moving object such as a vehicle and a guidance object to be subjected to sightseeing guidance. A navigation device equipped on the moving body, comprising: a deciding means for deciding, and a providing means for providing guidance information of the guidance object determined by the deciding means. A first determination unit that determines the necessity of the mobile unit to visit the guidance target, and a second determination unit that determines the feasibility of the mobile unit to visit the guidance target. Processing means for processing guide information of a guide object determined to be guided by the determination means based on a determination result by the first determination means and a determination result by the second determination means. Both the providing means, and characterized in that to provide guidance information processed by the processing means.
[0015]
According to the navigation device (1), the result of the determination by the first determination unit (that is, the necessity for the mobile to visit the guidance target object with respect to achieving the predetermined sightseeing purpose with respect to the guidance target object). Is determined to be guided by the determination unit based on the determination result of the second determination unit (ie, the determination result of the feasibility of the visit of the moving object to the guidance target). The guidance information of the guided object is processed.
[0016]
In addition, the first determination unit determines that the mobile object needs to visit the guidance target because the guidance target actually visits the zoo or the museum, This is the case for facilities that cannot achieve the sightseeing purpose without looking at the animals in the park and the exhibits in the museum. On the other hand, it is judged that there is no need for the visit, such as high-rise towers and temples. In this case, it is a facility that can achieve the sightseeing purpose only by looking at the exterior without visiting.
[0017]
Also, the second determining means determines that the possibility of the mobile object to visit the guidance target object is high when the guidance target object is present around the destination, for example. It is determined that the possibility of the visit is low, for example, when the guidance target is far from the destination.
[0018]
Therefore, according to the navigation device (1), even when approaching a zoo or a museum, it is difficult to visit these facilities and the like (that is, it is not necessary to provide guidance information on these facilities and the like). In this case, the information amount of the guidance information of these facilities and the like can be reduced, or guidance of these facilities and the like can not be performed.
[0019]
Thus, it is possible to prevent information that is less useful for the occupant (user) of the moving object from being provided to the occupant. That is, since only information that is highly useful to the occupant can be provided to the occupant, it is possible to prevent a situation in which the occupant is confused due to a flood of information.
[0020]
Further, the navigation device (2) according to the present invention, in the navigation device (1), further comprises a destination setting device for a user to set a destination, wherein the second determining device sets the destination by the setting device. It is characterized in that the feasibility of a visit of the moving object to the guidance target is determined based on the positional relationship between the destination and the guidance target.
[0021]
According to the navigation device (2), the feasibility of visiting the guidance target by the mobile object is determined based on the positional relationship between the destination and the guidance target. When the guidance target is far away from the destination, it can be determined that the possibility of the mobile to visit the guidance target is low.
This makes it possible to appropriately determine the feasibility of the visit of the moving object to the guidance target object, and thus determines whether the information is highly useful for the occupant (user) of the moving object. It can be performed more appropriately.
[0022]
Further, in the navigation device (3) according to the present invention, in the navigation device (1) or (2), the feasibility of the mobile object to visit the guidance target object is low by the second determination unit. If determined, the processing means processes the guidance information of the guidance target object so as not to include all or some of the information useful for visiting the guidance target object. Features.
[0023]
According to the navigation device (3), the possibility of the mobile object visiting the guidance target is low by the second determination unit (for example, when the guidance target is far away from the destination). If it is determined that the information exists, the information (for example, information on closed days, opening hours, closing times, and admission fees) that is useful for visiting the guidance target object is not included in all or a part thereof. Then, the guide information of the guide object is processed.
[0024]
Accordingly, for example, the first determination unit may need to visit the guidance target of the moving object with respect to the achievement of the predetermined sightseeing purpose with respect to the guidance target (for example, the guidance target Is determined to be a zoo or a museum), it is unlikely that the mobile object will visit the guidance target object by the second determination means (for example, the guidance target object is far from the destination). If it is determined that the object is present at a distant place, the guide information of the guide object is converted into information useful for visiting the guide object (for example, closed days, opening hours, closing hours, admission times). Information about the fee) or a part thereof.
Therefore, if it is difficult to visit these facilities even when approaching a zoo or a museum, etc., all or some of the information useful for visiting these facilities from the guide information of these facilities Can be deleted.
[0025]
Further, in the navigation device (4) according to the present invention, in any one of the navigation devices (1) to (3), the processing means may include at least one of a date condition, a day of the week condition, and a time condition. It is characterized in that information useful for a visit to the guidance object is processed as guidance information of the guidance object based on a condition.
[0026]
According to the navigation device (4), based on at least one of a date condition, a day-of-week condition, and a time condition, it is useful for a visit to the guidance object as guidance information of the guidance object. Information is processed. This makes it possible to provide only useful information to the user.
[0027]
In addition, the processing of the information useful for the visit to the guide object is performed by the first determination unit in relation to the achievement of the predetermined sightseeing purpose with respect to the guide object by the first object. This is particularly effective when it is determined that there is a need to visit an object, and when the second determining unit determines that the possibility of the mobile to visit the guidance target object is high.
[0028]
For example, if zoo A is present around the destination and the possibility of visiting zoo A is high, information useful for visiting zoo A (for example, closed days, opening hours, closing hours, admission times) Information about the fare) is highly useful to occupants. However, if zoo A is approaching in the evening (ie, at a time when it is apparently open) and is about to close, information about the closing time (or last entry time) will be useful to the occupants. Is high, but information about opening hours is not very useful to the crew. In addition, information on closed days is not very useful if the day is not a closed day.
[0029]
Therefore, the first determination unit has determined that the visit to the guidance target is necessary, and the second determination unit has determined that the feasibility of the visit to the guidance target is high. In such a case, based on at least one of a date condition, a day of the week condition, and a time condition, information useful for a visit to the guidance target as guidance information of the guidance target is processed. , Even if you approach zoo A near the destination (that is, zoo A with high possibility of visiting), zoo A is approached in the evening, and it will soon be closed. If there is, the information on the opening time can be deleted from the guide information of zoo A. If the day is not a holiday of zoo A, information on the holiday can be deleted from the guide information of zoo A.
[0030]
Also, in the navigation device (5) according to the present invention, in the navigation device (4), when the guidance target object is not a holiday, the guidance of the guidance target object is configured such that the processing unit does not include information about a holiday. It is characterized by processing information.
[0031]
According to the navigation device (5), when the object to be guided is not a holiday, the guidance information of the object to be guided is not included as information useful for visiting the object to be guided. Is processed. As a result, only information that is highly useful to the occupant can be provided to the occupant, so that a situation in which the occupant is confused due to a flood of information can be prevented.
[0032]
Further, in the navigation device (6) according to the present invention, in the navigation device (4) or (5), when the guidance target object is not a holiday, the processing unit may determine a time of entry and exit based on a time condition. It is characterized by processing information.
[0033]
According to the navigation device (6), when the object to be guided is not a holiday, the information relating to the time of entry and exit as information useful for visiting the object to be guided is processed based on the time condition. Therefore, for example, as information useful for a visit to the zoo, if there is information on the opening time and closing time (or final admission time), if it is before the opening time, information on the closing time (or final admission time) Can be omitted to provide only the information about the opening time, and if the time is close to the closing time, the information about the opening time can be omitted and only the information about the closing time (or the last entrance time) can be provided. As a result, only information that is highly useful to the occupant can be provided to the occupant, so that a situation in which the occupant is confused due to a flood of information can be prevented.
[0034]
Further, a navigation device (7) according to the present invention includes: a determination unit that determines a guidance target to be guided based on a positional relationship between a moving object such as a vehicle and a guidance target as a target of sightseeing guidance. And a providing means for providing guidance information of the guidance target determined by the determination means, in a navigation device equipped on the mobile object, a period during which guidance information of the guidance target is not provided is a predetermined period, First determining means for determining whether or not the driving is continued; and if the first determining means determines that the period during which the guidance information is not provided has continued for the first predetermined period, a drive is produced. And a first event means for performing the above-mentioned event.
[0035]
According to the navigation device (7), when a period during which the guidance information of the guidance target is not provided continues for the first predetermined period, an event for producing a drive (for example, a quiz question or a user Such as obtaining and providing useful information from outside). Therefore, even if there is no guidance target to be guided around the moving body, there is no guidance target around the moving body, and even if the occupant falls into a boring state, the event is performed. Can be.
[0036]
Further, the navigation device (8) according to the present invention, in the navigation device (7), further includes a first calculating unit that calculates a period until the next guidance information is provided or a distance, and the first calculating unit calculates the distance. The event means performs the event based on the period or the distance calculated by the first calculation means.
[0037]
When the period during which the guidance information of the guidance target object is not provided continues for the first predetermined period, the event is performed, thereby exerting a great effect on overcoming the occupant's boredom. If it is time to provide the guidance information of the guidance object during the operation, the following problems a and b occur.
a. Interrupting the provision of guidance information interrupts the event.
b. If the event is not interrupted, the timing of providing the guidance information will be delayed.
[0038]
According to the navigation device (8), the event is performed based on the period or the distance until the next guidance information is provided. For example, when there is 10 minutes until the next guidance information is provided (or If there are 10 km), a total of 5 quizzes can be taken every 2 minutes (or every 2 km). As a result, it is possible to avoid the above-described problem from occurring, and it is possible to smoothly carry out and proceed with guidance and events without causing discomfort to the user.
[0039]
Further, in the navigation device (9) according to the present invention, in the navigation device (7), a destination setting unit for a user to set a destination, and the moving object is moved to a destination set by the setting unit. A second calculating unit for calculating a period required to reach the distance or a distance, wherein the first event unit performs the event based on the period or the distance calculated by the second calculating unit; It is characterized by things.
[0040]
When the period during which the guidance information of the guidance target object is not provided continues for the first predetermined period, the event is performed, thereby exerting a great effect on overcoming the occupant's boredom. If the user arrives at the destination while the event is being performed, the event is interrupted, which causes an undesirable state.
[0041]
According to the navigation device (9), the event is performed based on a period or a distance required to reach the destination. For example, when there is 10 minutes to reach the destination (or the If you are 10 km to your destination), you can ask a total of 5 quizzes every 2 minutes (or every 2 km). Thereby, it is possible to avoid the above-described problem from occurring.
[0042]
Further, a navigation device (10) according to the present invention includes: a determination unit that determines a guidance target to be guided based on a positional relationship between a moving object such as a vehicle and a guidance target to be subjected to sightseeing guidance. Providing means for providing guidance information on the guidance object determined by the determination means, wherein the period during which guidance information on the guidance object is not provided is the second predetermined period. A second determining means for determining whether or not to continue for a period; and if the second determining means determines that the period during which the guidance information is not provided will continue for the second predetermined period, a drive is produced. And a second event means for performing an event for
[0043]
According to the navigation device (10), when a period during which the guidance information of the guidance target is not provided continues for the second predetermined period, an event for producing a drive (for example, a quiz question or a user Such as obtaining and providing useful information from outside). Therefore, if there is no guidance object to be guided around the moving object and there is no guidance object for the guidance object, and the period in which the guidance information of the guidance object is not provided continues for the second predetermined period, the event is executed. Occupants can be prevented from falling into a boring condition.
[0044]
The navigation device (11) according to the present invention may be configured such that, in any one of the navigation devices (7) to (10), before the event is started by the first event means or the second event means. And a start guide means for guiding the start of an event.
[0045]
According to the navigation device (11), the start of the event is guided before the start of the event. For example, a voice guidance such as "I'm about to start a quiz from now" is provided, so that the occupant can smoothly participate in an event quiz or the like.
[0046]
Also, in the navigation device (12) according to the present invention, in the navigation device (11), the start guide means requests a user to select whether or not to start an event, and the first event means Alternatively, the second event means performs an event based on a selection result from a user.
[0047]
According to the navigation device (12), since the user can select whether or not to start the event, it is possible to use the event according to the situation at that time. For example, it is possible to prevent an event from being performed when conversation in a car is bouncing.
[0048]
Further, the navigation device (13) according to the present invention includes, in any one of the navigation devices (1) to (12), a condition setting means for setting a condition of a guide object that the user wants to guide. Wherein the determining means determines a guidance target to be guided based on the condition set by the condition setting means.
[0049]
According to the navigation device (13), it is possible to provide only the guide information of the guide object desired by the user, so that it is troublesome that the guide information of the facility or the like not desired by the user is provided by voice or the like. The situation can be prevented from continuing.

The processing operation (1) performed by the
[0062]
If it is determined that the vehicle M is present in the guidance area, then, based on the current position information of the vehicle M, the direction in which the vehicle M is facing (for example, the east-west north-south direction) is obtained from the change of the current position (step S3) Further, based on the current position information of the vehicle M and the “position” data (see FIG. 2) on the corresponding guidance target T, the relative positional relationship between the vehicle M and the guidance target T (for example, The direction in which the guidance target T is present) is determined (step S4). On the other hand, if it is determined that the vehicle M does not exist in the guidance area, the process returns to step S1.
[0063]
Next, based on the direction in which the vehicle M is facing determined in step S3 and the relative positional relationship between the vehicle M and the guidance target T determined in step S4, the direction in which the vehicle M is facing is determined. The direction in which the guidance target T exists as a reference is determined (step S5). For example, when the guidance target object T exists in the east direction with respect to the vehicle M (determined by the processing in step S4), when the vehicle M faces north (determined by the processing in step S3). That is, the guidance target T exists in the right-hand direction for the occupant of the vehicle M.
[0064]
Next, based on the "guidance sentence" data in the guidance target T (see FIG. 2) and the direction in which the guidance target T exists based on the direction in which the vehicle M faces, obtained in step S5. Then, a guidance sentence to which information relating to the direction in which the guidance target T is visible is added (step S6). For example, when the guidance target object T is “XX zoo” and “XX zoo” exists in the right hand direction for the occupant of the vehicle M, “the XX zoo is visible to the right hand. Create a guidance sentence such as "famous for ○ or… ...".
[0065]
Next, based on the “visit” data (see FIG. 2) in the guidance target T, whether the guidance target T is a facility or the like (for example, “XX zoo”) that can achieve a predetermined sightseeing purpose by visiting. If it is determined (step S7) that the guidance target object T is a facility or the like that can achieve the predetermined sightseeing purpose by visiting ("visit" data is 1), then the guidance object is It is determined whether the object T is present around a preset destination (step S8).
[0066]
If it is determined that the guidance target T is present around the destination, it is considered that the possibility of the vehicle M visiting the guidance target T is high, and the guidance text created in step S6 is added to the guidance text. A guidance sentence to which information (for example, information about a holiday or a start time) useful for a visit to the target T is added is created (step S9, see FIG. 4), and the created guidance sentence is voiced from the
[0067]
On the other hand, if it is determined in step S8 that the guidance target T is not present around the destination, it is considered that the possibility of the vehicle M visiting the guidance target T is low, and then the guidance target T Based on the “view” data at T (see FIG. 2), it is determined whether or not the guide target T is a facility (for example, “□□ museum”) that can achieve the sightseeing purpose even if it is viewed from a distance. Then, if it is determined that the sightseeing object T is a facility or the like for which the sightseeing purpose can be achieved just by looking at the view (“view” data is 1), the process proceeds to step S10 to guide the guide object T. A guidance sentence to which no information useful for a visit to is added (that is, the guidance sentence created in step S6) is output from the
[0068]
In addition, if it is determined in step S11 that the guide object T is a facility or the like for which the sightseeing purpose cannot be achieved just by looking at the view (“view” data is 0), there is no need to guide the guide object T. And the process does not proceed to step S10, but returns to step S1 as it is.
[0069]
Also, in step S7, when it is determined that the guidance target object T is not a facility or the like that can achieve the predetermined sightseeing purpose by the visit (“visit” data is 0, for example, “XX tower”) Then, the process proceeds to step S10, and a guidance sentence to which information useful for visiting the guidance target T is not added (that is, the guidance sentence created in step S6) is output from the
[0070]
Next, a processing operation performed by the
[0071]
If it is determined that the guidance target object T is a holiday, a guidance text suitable for guiding on that day and indicating useful visit information is created, and the created guidance text is replaced with the guidance text created in step S6 (FIG. 3). It is added (step S23). For example, a guidance message such as "I'm off today" is created.
[0072]
In addition, when creating a guidance sentence indicating useful visit information, “type” data (see FIG. 2) in the guidance target object T is taken into consideration. For example, when the type of the guidance target object T is a zoo, “ A guidance message such as "Today is a closed day" may be created, and if the type of the guidance target object T is a museum, a guidance message such as "Today is a closed day" may be created.
[0073]
On the other hand, if it is determined in step S22 that the guidance target object T is not a holiday, information on the time is acquired (step S24), and the information on the acquired time and "end" data in the guidance object T (FIG. 2) is determined (step S25). If it is determined that the end time has passed, a guide message indicating visit useful information suitable for providing guidance during that time zone is created, and the created guide message is added to the guide message created in step S6 (step S6). S26). For example, a guide message such as "Today has ended" is created.
[0074]
In addition, when creating a guidance sentence indicating useful visit information, the “type” data of the guidance target T is taken into consideration. For example, if the type of the guidance target T is a zoo, “Today is closed. In addition, when the type of the guidance target object T is a museum, a guidance message such as “Closed today” may be created.
[0075]
If it is determined in step S25 that the end time has not passed, then, based on the information on the time, the “end” data and the “final” data (see FIG. 2) of the guidance target object T, the current time is determined. It is determined whether the time is between the last entry time and the end time (step S27). If it is determined that the time is between the last entrance time and the end time, a guide message indicating useful visit information suitable for guiding during that time zone is created, and the created guide message is replaced with the guide message created in step S6. It is added (step S28). For example, when the type of the guidance target object T is a zoo, a guidance sentence such as "It will be closed soon. It is not possible to enter the park" is created (considering "type" data).
[0076]
If it is determined in step S27 that the time is not between the last entry time and the end time, then, based on the information on the time and the “last” data, it is determined whether or not one hour has passed until the last entry time. Is determined (step S29). If it is determined that it is less than one hour until the final admission time, based on the “end” data and the “fee” data (see FIG. 2), it indicates useful visit information suitable for guiding to that time zone. A guidance message is created, and the created guidance message is added to the guidance message created in step S6 (step S30). For example, if the guidance object T is “xx zoo”, a guidance text such as “The last admission time is 5:00 pm. The fee is 800 yen for adults and 400 yen for children” is created (the “type” data is Takes into account).
[0077]
If it is determined in step S29 that one hour has not passed until the last entrance time, then it is determined whether or not the time is before the start time based on the time information and the “start” data (see FIG. 2). Is determined (step S31). If it is determined that the time is before the start time, a guide message indicating useful visit information suitable for providing a guide during the time zone is created based on the “start” data and the “fee” data, and the created guide message Is added to the guidance sentence created in step S6 (step S32). For example, if the guidance object T is “XX Zoo”, a guidance text such as “Open at 9 am. The fee is 800 yen for adults and 400 yen for children” is created (considering “type” data) In).
[0078]
On the other hand, if it is determined in step S31 that the current time is not before the start time, a guidance message indicating useful visit information suitable for providing guidance during the time zone is created based on the “end” data and the “fee” data. Then, the created guidance text is added to the guidance text created in step S6 (step S33). For example, when the guidance target object T is “xx zoo”, a guidance text such as “Closed at 6:00 pm. The fee is 800 yen for adults and 400 yen for children” is created (“Type data is Takes into account).
[0079]
According to the navigation device according to the above-described embodiment (1), the sightseeing purpose cannot be achieved only by looking at the external appearance, as in “xx zoo”, and the sightseeing purpose can be achieved only by visiting. Even when approaching a facility, etc., if it is difficult to visit these facilities, etc. (that is, if it is not necessary to provide guidance information on these facilities, etc.), do not provide guidance on these facilities, etc. Can be
[0080]
If it is not difficult to visit these facilities and the like, guidance is provided based on the date condition, the day of the week condition, and the time condition to which useful visit information suitable for providing guidance at that day and time is added. You can do so. In other words, guidance of less important information can be prevented from being performed according to the situation at that time.
[0081]
Therefore, it is possible to prevent information that is less useful for the occupant of the vehicle M from being provided to the occupant. That is, since only information that is highly useful to the occupant can be provided to the occupant, it is possible to prevent a situation in which the occupant is confused due to a flood of information.
[0082]
Next, a navigation device according to Embodiment (2) will be described. However, the navigation device according to the embodiment (2) has the same configuration as that of the navigation device shown in FIG. 1 except for the

[0085]
If it is determined that the vehicle M exists in the guidance area, a guidance process for providing guidance information of the corresponding guidance target T is performed (step S43), and thereafter, the process returns to step S41. The guidance process in step S43 (see FIG. 7) is substantially the same as the processes in steps S3 to S11 shown in FIG. 3 except that the guidance sentence is output from the
[0086]
On the other hand, if it is determined in step S42 that the vehicle M does not exist in the guidance area, it is next determined whether or not the flag f is 1 (step S44). The flag f is a flag for indicating whether or not an event (for example, a quiz question) has been started. When the event is started, the flag f becomes 1 (see steps S63 and S64 in FIG. 6).
[0087]
If it is determined that the flag f is not 1 (that is, the event has not started), then the timer t 1 Is a predetermined period t 1 (For example, 15 minutes) or more is determined (step S45). Timer t 1 Is a predetermined period t 1 (That is, a predetermined period t after the voice output of the guidance sentence ends) 1 'Has elapsed), in order to start the event, first, a time t required to reach the next guidance area based on the current position information of the vehicle M and information on the traveling route. 2 Is calculated (step S46), and then a time t required to reach a preset destination is calculated. 3 Is calculated (step S47). On the other hand, in step S45, the timer t 1 Is a predetermined period t 1 If it is determined that the value is not equal to or more than the above, there is no need to start the event, and the process returns to step S41.
[0088]
Next, time t 2 Is time t 3 It is determined whether or not the time is below (step S48), and the time t 2 Is time t 3 If the following is determined (that is, the vehicle arrives at the next guidance area before reaching the destination), then the time t 2 Is a predetermined period t 2 '(For example, 10 minutes) or more is determined (step S49). Time t 2 Is a predetermined period t 2 If it is determined that the number of quizzes is equal to or more than 10 minutes (that is, there is a time of 10 minutes or more before the next guidance), the count n indicating the number of quizzes to be presented at the event is set to a predetermined value n '(for example, 5 questions) (step S50 Then, the process proceeds to step S61 (FIG. 6). On the other hand, time t 2 Is a predetermined period t 2 'If it is determined that it is not more than 2 Is divided by a predetermined period Δt (for example, 2 minutes), and the quotient is set as a count n (step S51), and thereafter, the process proceeds to step S61.
[0089]
In step S48, the time t 2 Is time t 3 If it is determined that the destination is not less than the above (that is, the destination is reached before reaching the next guidance area), the time t 3 Is a predetermined period t 3 '(For example, 10 minutes) or more is determined (step S52). Time t 3 Is a predetermined period t 3 If it is determined that the count is equal to or greater than (that is, there is a time of 10 minutes or more to the destination), the count n is set to a predetermined value n '(step S53), and then the process proceeds to step S61. On the other hand, time t 3 Is a predetermined period t 3 'If it is determined that it is not more than 3 Is divided by a predetermined period Δt, and the quotient is set as a count n (step S54), and thereafter, the process proceeds to step S61.
[0090]
In step S61 (FIG. 6), an announcement of the event start, such as "I'm about to start the quiz now, are you ready?", Is output from the
[0091]
Next, it is determined whether or not the start of the event has been selected based on the signal obtained by the operation of the user (step S62). If it is determined that the start of the event has been selected, the quiz is determined based on the quiz data. Is output from the
[0092]
Next, the timer t 4 Is a predetermined period t 4 (For example, 90 seconds) or more (step S67), and 4 Is a predetermined period t 4 If it is determined that the answer is equal to or greater than (that is, 90 seconds have elapsed since the quiz was set), the answer to the previously set quiz is output from the
[0093]
In step S70, if it is determined that the counter n has become 0, it means that the scheduled quiz question has been completed, so that an event end guide such as "This is the end of the quiz" is sent from the
[0094]
If it is determined in step S44 (FIG. 5) that the flag f is 1 (that is, the event has started), the process proceeds to step S67 (FIG. 6) and the timer t 4 Is a predetermined period t 4 It is determined whether or not it is equal to or greater than (ie, whether or not 90 seconds have elapsed since the quiz was given).
[0095]
According to the navigation device of the above-described embodiment (2), if the period during which the guidance information of the guidance target object is not provided continues for a long time, an event for driving (here, a quiz question) is performed. Is Therefore, even if there is no guidance target to be guided around the vehicle M outside the city area and the occupant falls into a boring state, the above-described event is performed. it can.
[0096]
In the navigation device according to the above-described embodiment (2), the period during which the guidance information of the guidance target object is not provided is long to some extent, and if the period continues, an event for producing a drive is performed. In the navigation device according to the embodiment, the event may be performed when the traveling distance of the vehicle M becomes longer without providing the guidance information of the guidance target object, and further another embodiment. In this case, the event may be performed when it is expected that the period during which the guidance information of the guidance target object is not provided (or the distance that the vehicle M travels without providing the guidance information) will continue for some time.
[0097]
The period until the next guidance information is provided and the traveling distance can be roughly obtained from the current position information of the vehicle M. Further, the speed information of the vehicle M, the speed limit of the road on which the vehicle M is traveling, the traveling speed By taking into consideration the speed limit of the planned road, information on the degree of congestion of the road, and the like, the period and the traveling distance can be more accurately obtained. When a destination is set and a traveling route to the destination is determined, the period and the traveling distance can be obtained almost accurately by using information on the traveling route.
[0098]
Further, in the navigation devices according to the above-described embodiments (1) and (2), the guide target T to be guided is determined by determining whether or not the vehicle M is present in the guide area of some guide target. In the navigation device according to another embodiment, guidance to be guided is determined by determining whether or not a guidance target object exists in a guidance area formed based on the vehicle M. The target T may be determined.
[0099]
As the guide area formed based on the vehicle M, for example, as shown in FIG. 8A, a range Ea of a predetermined distance Xa from the current position of the vehicle M, or as shown in FIG. The range Eb is a range of a predetermined angle θ to the left and right with respect to the traveling direction of the vehicle M, and includes a range Eb of a predetermined distance Xb from the current position of the vehicle M.
[0100]
In the navigation devices according to the above-described embodiments (1) and (2), the guidance target to be guided is determined based on the positional relationship with the vehicle M. In the navigation device according to the embodiment, for example, the user can select a desired type of guidance through an operation screen “genre selection screen” (not shown) displayed on the
[0101]
Further, the navigation device according to still another embodiment allows a user to set useful visit information to be added to a guidance message according to a time zone or the like through an operation screen or the like. May be added to the guide text. Further, in the above-described embodiment, the case where the guidance information is provided by voice is described. However, the guidance information is not limited to voice, and may be provided by text or the like.
