従来、この種の電子機器装置は、フロントパネルのコネクタ挿入孔と、フロントパネルの背面から挿入されるコネクタと、上記とは別のコネクタ挿入孔が設けられてフロントパネルのコネクタ挿入孔を表面からカバーする外観カバーとを備え、外観カバーのコネクタ挿入孔がパネルのコネクタ挿入孔よりも小さくされ、外観カバーの裏面には一対の爪部が設けられてフロントパネルのコネクタ挿入孔に挿入さることにより、外観カバーをフロントパネルに係止していた(例えば、特許文献1参照。)。

しかし、このような従来の電子機器装置では、フロントパネルの厚みが変化したりコネクタとフロントパネルの取付け位置が成形上や組み立て上のばらつき等に起因して前後方向にずれたときにはフロントカバーがその爪部の傾斜および弾性変形によりフロントパネルに対し若干前後方向へ移動してずれを吸収可能であるものの、外観カバーがフロントパネルに対し面方向に相対移動できないため、コネクタをフロントカバーに取付けることができなくなってしまうという問題があった。
本発明はこのような問題を解決するためになされたもので、成形上や組み付け上のばらつきに起因して挿入孔突出部品とパネルとの取付け位置が本来の位置から前後上下左右方向のいかなる方向にずれたとしても、これらを確実に組み付けて係止することができ、かつそのとき生じた挿入孔突出部品とパネルとの間の調整用空隙を覆うことが可能な電子機器装置を提供する。

【課題を解決するための手段】

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態について、図面を用いて説明する。
図1は、本発明の第1の実施の形態の電子機器装置100の分解斜視図を示す。なお、電子機器装置100は、ここでは車両に搭載する電子機器装置であるものとする。
同図に示すように、本発明の第1の実施の形態の電子機器装置100は、シャシ40と、シャシ40に取り付けられた電子部品41(ここでは、複数の電子部品のうち1個のみ代表的に記載している。)と、使用者から見える電子機器装置100の外観となり、第1挿入孔1aが形成されたパネル1と、第1挿入孔1aに挿入可能で、使用者が操作するための釦2eが内蔵された挿入部2bを有するスイッチ(挿入孔突出部品)2と、挿入部2bが挿入される第2挿入孔3dを有するとともにパネル1の第1挿入孔1aに挿入されてこの周縁部分をパネル1の表面側から覆うカバー部材3とを備えている。

次に、上記電子機器装置100の各構成部品につき、より詳細に説明する。
パネル1は、プラスティックや木材等を用いてその表面に化粧を施した薄板から形成し、電子機器装置100の表面側に配置する。パネル1には、スイッチ2の挿入部2bが挿入可能な長方形状の第1挿入孔1aを形成してある。この第1挿入孔1aは、挿入部2bの外形より大きく設定して、これらの間にはパネル1の面方向の空隙が生じるようにしてある。すなわち、第1挿入孔1aは、図2に示すようにスイッチ2の挿入部2bを挿入した取付け状態では、パネル1やスイッチ2の成形上や取付け上のばらつきに起因して、第1挿入孔1aと挿入部2bとの位置がパネル1の面方向へ本来の位置からずれたとしても、挿入部2bが第1挿入孔1aに挿入可能な大きさ、形状に設定する。
一方、パネル1の裏面には、第1挿入孔1aの周辺部分の4カ所からそれぞれパネル1の面に垂直な方向に突出し、かつねじ穴を設けた取付支柱部1bを形成してあり、この取付支柱部1bを利用してスイッチ2を取付け可能とする。
なお、このパネル1は、車体(図示せず)側に固定する。

スイッチ2は、4つのねじ穴2dを有する平板状の基部2aと、これらのねじ穴2dに囲まれた基部2aの部分からパネル1側に向けて突出するとともにその両側面にパネル1の面方向外側へ突出した係止突起(被係止部)2cを形成した角柱状の挿入部2bと、挿入部2bに押し込み可能に内蔵されて電気接点の開閉を行うための釦2eとを備えている。
スイッチ2の基部2aは、ねじ穴2dがパネル1の取付支柱1bの端面にそれぞれ合わされてパネル1から所定距離だけ離間された位置で、ねじ(図示せず)で固定してある。
このスイッチ2をパネル1に固定した状態では、図2に示すように、スイッチ2の挿入部2bがパネル1の第1挿入孔1aとカバー部材3の第2挿入孔3dとに挿入され、かつ釦2eが第1挿入孔1aおよび第2挿入孔3dからパネル1の表面側へ突出する。

カバー部材3は、第2挿入孔3dが形成されその外縁が第2挿入孔3dからパネル1の面方向の外側へ向けて張り出された外カバー部3aと、外カバー部3aの裏面からスイッチ2の基部2a側に向けて垂直に突出された2本の係止片3bとを備えている。
第2挿入孔3dは、この大きさがスイッチ2の挿入部2bよりわずかに大きくなるように設定する。外カバー部3aは、カバー部材3がスイッチ2に係止された状態で、第1挿入孔1aの周縁部分より外側まで伸びてこの部分を覆うことが可能な大きさに設定してある。なお、この外側カバー部3aは、裏面がパネル1の表面に接触してカバー部材3のパネル1の裏面側への移動を阻止するように機能し、本発明の外側カバー部と第1係止部との両方の機能を兼ね備える。

2つの係止片3bは、これらの先端側に互いに向き合いようにして内側に突出し、かつ係止片3bの延長方向に沿って配列した複数の係止突起(第2係止部)3cを有するように形成する。ここで、係止突起3cとスイッチ2の係止突起2cとは、係止可能な斜面を有する形状とする。すなわち、この斜面は、カバー部材3とスイッチ2とが近接する方向の相対移動時では、両者間の係止力が弱く相対移動しやすく、また逆にこれら両者が離間する方向の相対移動では、両者間の係止力が強くなって通常の外力では移動不可となるように傾斜度や傾斜の向きなどを有するような形状に設定する。

図2は、上記電子機器装置100のパネル1とスイッチ2との間にカバー部材3を取付けた状態を拡大して示した断面図である。なお、図2では、スイッチ2がパネル1の第1挿入孔1aに対し本来の位置から図中左方へずれた状態で取付けられたケースを示し、図1の下方から見上げた視点で描いてある。
この図から分かるように、スイッチ2とカバー部材3とをパネル1に組み付けるには、まずパネル1の第1挿入孔1a内に、パネル1の裏面側からスイッチ2の挿入部2bを挿入し、この状態でスイッチ2の基部2aをパネル1に固定する。この結果、パネル1の第1挿入孔1aの周壁1cとスイッチ2の挿入部2bとの間には、空隙が形成される。

次いで、カバー部材3の第2挿入孔3d内にスイッチ2の挿入部2bが入るようにカバー部材3をスイッチ2に対して位置決めした後、カバー部材3の係止片3bをパネル1の表側からその裏側に向けて上記空隙内に挿入して移動させていく。そうすると、カバー部材3に設けた2つの係止片3bの係止突起3cが、順次その先端側の係止突起からスイッチ2の係止突起2cに当たりながらこれを乗り越えて進む。そして、カバー部材3の外側カバー部3aがパネル1の表面に当接し係止される位置で、カバー部材3の移動が停止される。この状態が図2に示す状態であり、係止突起3cと係止突起2cとは、この停止位置で最終的に係止され、カバー部材3が第1挿入孔1aから抜け出すのを阻止するようになる。

この状態では、外側カバー部3aがパネル1の表面に当接することによって係止され、係止突起3cがスイッチ2の係止突起2cに係止されるので、カバー部材3は、パネル1とスイッチ2とに対し位置決めされる。このとき、成形上や取付け上のばらつきにより、スイッチ2がパネル1の第1挿入孔1aの中心から図2中左側にずれた位置で取り付けられているので、カバー部材1もパネル1の第1挿入孔1aの中心より左方へずれることとなる。この結果、カバー部材3の図中左側の係止片3bとパネル1の第1挿入孔1aの図中左側周壁1cとの間には図中左側の第1調整用空隙61が生じ、カバー部材3の図中右側の係止片3bとパネル1の第1挿入孔1aの図中右側周壁1cとの間には、左側の第1調整用空隙61より大きい右側の第1調整用空隙62が生じる。
このようにしてずれ調整のために生じた左側の第1調整用空隙61と右側の1調整用空隙62とは、パネル1の表面側からカバー部材3がその外側カバー部3aで覆う結果、使用者から見えないようになる。なお、カバー部材3の第2挿入孔3dの周壁とスイッチ2の挿入部2bとの間の空隙は、あらかじめ小さく設定されているので、成形上や取付上のばらつきがあったとしても、使用者からみて気になる大きさとはならない。

以上説明したように、本発明の第1の実施の形態の電子機器装置100は、パネル1の第1挿入孔1aを左側の第1調整用空隙61と右側の第1調整用空隙62との分だけ、第1挿入孔1aに挿入されるカバー部材3の係止片3bより大きく設定したので、スイッチ2が本来の位置からパネル1の面方向のずれた位置でパネル1に取り付けられた場合にも、スイッチ2をパネル1の第1挿入孔1aに挿入し、かつこれらの間に生じた空隙にカバー部材3をも挿入することが可能となり、この場合、外側カバー部3aでこの係止片3bとパネル1の第1挿入孔1aの周壁1cとの間に生じた左側の第1調整用空隙61と右側の第1調整用空隙62とをパネル1の表面側から覆うことが可能となる。この結果、スイッチとパネルとの間の調整用空隙が使用者からみえず、その見栄えが良くなる。

また、カバー部材3の係止突起3cがパネル1の厚さ方向に複数個設けて、このうちから選択した係止突起3cをスイッチ2の係合突起2cに係止させることができその係止力がほとんど変化しないので、スイッチ2とパネル1とがパネル1の厚さ方向へずれて取付けられた場合でも、カバー部材3をパネル1とスイッチ2とに確実に係止することが可能となる。
