Abstract
Description
【0001】

[Technical field to which the invention belongs]
This is a method that allows an occult blood test of a specimen such as stool or sputum at home or by oneself or a family member without visiting a hospital or mailing the specimen to the hospital.
Cover the specimen with the filter paper impregnated with the first reagent (tetramethylbenzidine, etc.), hold the specimen with a piece of wood, etc., soak the specimen into the filter paper, and then drop the second reagent (hydrogen peroxide, etc.) from above. Then, the presence or absence of occult blood is examined based on the presence or absence of the developed color.
[0002]
[Conventional technology]
To take a conventional occult blood test, the patient must go to a hospital or, as is currently done, mail the sample to the hospital. In addition, it takes time to determine the result.
[0003]
[Inventive embodiment]
Using a filter paper impregnated with the first reagent used for the occult blood reaction test and the filter paper overlaid on a sample such as stool or sputum and infiltrated, and a second reagent dropped from above is used, depending on the presence or absence of color development A method that allows you to determine the presence or absence of occult blood at home.
[0004]
[The invention's effect]
According to this method, a sample excreted or expectorated at home can be inspected by itself to determine the presence or absence of occult blood. This eliminates the need for consultations and mailing of specimens, and the results can be determined immediately.
It can be easily used by yourself at home, so many people can use it. If you have a positive occult blood reaction, you may go to a doctor for further scrutiny. As a result, stomach cancer, lung cancer, etc. can be found at an early stage.
