Abstract
Description
【0001】

【0013】
下りリンク3は、データ用個別物理チャネルであるDPDCH(Dedicated Physical Data CHannel)と制御用個別物理チャネルであるDPCCH(Dedicated Physical Control CHannel)からなり、両チャネルは時間多重されて送信される。
【0014】
【0015】
次に、上りリンク4では、各移動局から送信されるデータ用個別物理チャネルであるDPDCH(Dedicated Physical Data CHannel)と制御用個別物理チャネルであるDPCCH(Dedicated Physical Control CHannel)からなり、両チャネルは符号多重及びIQ多重されて送信される。
【0016】
【0019】
DPDCHはData1及びData2からなり、DPCCHはTPC(Transmit Power Contorol:送信電力制御)、TFCI(Transport Format Combination Indicator)、Pilotからなり、それぞれのデータは時間多重されている。

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a communication device for performing wireless data communication and a transmission power control method.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In the W-CDMA system, in order to accommodate a large number of mobile stations in the system, the downlink transmission power from the transmission station must be limited to a necessary minimum. However, as a conventional transmission power control method of a communication device, The reference value of SIR (Signal-to-Interference Ratio), which is the control target of the inner loop control, is used to determine the demodulation error rate (BLER (Block Error Rate)) of the received data. Etc.), there is a control method of a double loop configuration in which outer loop (Outer loop) control for updating is performed (for example, see Non-Patent Document 1).
[0003]
Also, as conventional outer loop control, received data is demodulated, turbo decoding is performed on the demodulated data, and a counting unit counts the number of repetitions of turbo decoding (hereinafter, referred to as the number of iterations), and performs CRC ( A Cyclic Redundancy Check (determination unit) performs a CRC check on the decoded data, calculates an increase or decrease in a reference SIR according to the presence or absence of an error, and the number of iterations. A new SIR value is obtained by adding the current reference SIR value, a comparing unit compares the measured SIR value of the received signal with the updated SIR reference value, and generates a transmission power control bit according to the comparison result. (See Patent Document 1).

[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the W-CDMA packet communication, when there is no data to be transmitted on the transmitting station side during transmission by a dedicated channel (DCH), data reception on the data channel is stopped for several seconds. During that time, the mobile station cannot perform a CRC check. For this reason, when the data reception of the data channel is stopped, in the conventional outer loop control, the SIR reference value is not updated during that time, and the outer loop control cannot be performed. That is, if the communication condition deteriorates while data reception on the data channel is stopped, control to increase the SIR reference value is not performed. The downlink transmission power output from the station becomes too small, and there has been a problem that a required error rate (BLER) of received data cannot be secured. Conversely, if the communication condition becomes good while the data channel data reception is stopped, the control to decrease the SIR reference value is not performed, and thereafter, the data channel data reception is restarted. In such a case, the downlink transmission power output from the transmitting station becomes excessively large, and there is a problem that interference with other communication terminals increases.
[0006]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problem, and enables an SIR reference value to be updated regardless of the presence / absence of received data of a data channel. It is an object of the present invention to obtain a communication device capable of generating a signal for causing a transmitting station to control the transmission power to an appropriate value even when the received data does not exist.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A communication device according to the present invention includes a control data reception error rate counting unit that calculates a reception data error rate of a control channel, and a reference value of an interference wave power ratio with respect to a desired wave based on a calculation result of the control data reception error rate counting unit. A reference value calculation unit that updates the reference value, a comparison unit that compares the reference value updated by the reference value calculation unit with the measured value of the interference wave power ratio with respect to the desired signal, and transmission to the transmitting station according to the comparison result of the comparison unit. It is provided with a signal generation unit that generates a signal for controlling power.
