マーキングフィルムは、塩ビ樹脂，アクリル樹脂，フッソ樹脂，ウレタン樹脂等の着色したフィルムを文字、図形に切り取り、基材に張り付けることで、看板、広告等に使用されている。

従来、顧客の所望とする色相の着色フィルムを製造するためには、色見本が必要であった。このため、着色フィルムメーカは、着色フィルムを製造するためには色の現物を入手しなければならないという煩わしさがあった。又、色相は印刷や塗装で現れるものと着色フィルムのように樹脂に練り込んだ形で現れるものとは、視覚として認識が微妙に異なるため、顧客から指定された色相に会わせて着色フィルムを製造しても、それが必ずしも顧客の要求する色相であるとならない、ということがあった。

本発明は、顧客が着色フィルムメーカに色見本を提供するのではなく、色相に関するデータを通信回線を介して提供し、着色フィルムメーカはこのデータに基づいて着色フィルムを製造し、供給することができる方法を提供する。

【課題を解決するための手段】
すなわち、本発明は、着色フィルムの供給者から顧客が着色フィルムを獲得する方法において、
顧客は所望の色の着色フィルムの色相に関する基本データ又はディスプレイ上で作成した色を通信回線を介して供給者に送信する段階（ａ）と、
供給者は受信した色相の基本データに基づいて着色フィルムの第一サンプルを顧客に供給する段階（ｂ）と、
顧客は第一サンプルを測色してその色相に関する第一サンプルデータを通信回線を介して供給者に送信する段階（ｃ）と、
供給者は第一サンプルデータと基本データとを比較した結果に基づいて着色フィルムの第二サンプルを顧客に提供する段階（ｄ）と、

本発明における段階（ａ）は、顧客がマーキングフィルムに使用する色を、反射率スペクトル，Ｌ＊ａ＊ｂ＊，ＸＹＺ，マンセル値等の基本データはディスプレイ上で作成した色を通信回線を介して着色フィルムメーカである供給者に供給する。
