Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a shaft sealing device for preventing leakage of fluid from a rotating shaft of a pump turbine, and more particularly, to an end face type shaft sealing device and a pump turbine using the same.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A pump-turbine is a turbine that transmits the rotational power of a runner obtained from the water flow that falls from the upper pond to the lower pond based on the principle of the turbine to, for example, a generator that is directly connected to the runner's rotating shaft. When the amount is small, the runner is reversely driven using the generator as a motor, and a pump operation of pumping water from the lower pond to the upper pond is repeated. Such a pump turbine is generally provided with a shaft sealing device near the runner to prevent leakage of high-pressure turbid water from a gap between a casing and a rotating shaft of the runner penetrating the casing.
[0003]
Here, in the pump turbine, when starting the above-mentioned pump operation, high-pressure air (supply air) was sent into the runner casing to reduce the initial load, and the water surface in the runner casing was pushed down to the lower pond side. In this state, a water surface pushing-down operation for continuously running the runner idly is performed. At the time of the water surface pushing-down operation, the periphery of the shaft sealing device is also exposed to the water and is in an anhydrous state. Therefore, compared with the time of the pump operation or the operation of the water turbine, the sealing surface for sealing the gap between the rotating side and the stationary side (eg, the The cooling and lubricating properties of the sliding surface decrease. Therefore, conventionally, a water guide hole penetrating to the seal ring is formed in the seal case so that the cooling and lubricating properties of the seal surface are sufficiently ensured even during the water surface pushing down operation, and the water guide hole and the external water supply are provided. There is an end face-type shaft sealing device that supplies water directly to the sealing surface through the water supply path during a water level lowering operation by forming a water supply path by piping between the means and a flexible pipe or the like. (See, for example, Patent Document 1).

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the technology described in
[0006]
An object of the present invention is to provide a shaft sealing device that improves the followability of a seal case to vertical movement of a rotating shaft of a runner and can ensure high reliability over a long period of time, and a pump-turbine using the same. It is in.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
(1) In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a shaft sealing device for preventing leakage of fluid from a gap between a runner casing of a pump turbine and a rotating shaft, and a rotating ring attached to the rotating shaft; A casing attached to the runner casing so as to surround a ring and the rotating shaft; and a casing located in a gap between the casing and the rotating shaft, inserted through the rotating shaft, and slidably provided in the casing in the axial direction. A sealing case, an O-ring for sealing a gap between the sealing case and the casing, and a stationary sealing ring and a rotating sealing ring opposed to each other attached to the sealing case and the rotating ring, respectively. A seal ring for sealing a gap between the rotary ring and the stationary seal ring in the seal ring. For guiding water supplied from an external water supply means to a sealing surface, which is a sliding surface of a sealing ring and a rotating side seal ring, and having at least one intermittent portion in the middle of a water supply path to the sealing surface. Water supply means.
[0008]
According to the present invention, at the time of the water surface pushing-down operation, instead of directly supplying water to the seal surface in a continuous water supply path to the seal ring by piping such as a flexible hose, the indirect water supply means has an intermittent portion. Guide the feedwater through the intermittent feedwater path. Therefore, unlike the case of piping with a flexible hose or the like, the operation of the seal case is not restricted by the water supply path, and the seal case can sufficiently follow the vertical movement of the rotating shaft. As a result, even when the pressure acting on the seal surface increases due to the vertical movement of the rotating shaft, the seal case moves up and down following the pressure, thereby preventing the seal ring from burning due to excessive pressure on the seal surface. can do. Therefore, high reliability can be ensured for a long time.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of a shaft sealing device of the present invention and a pump turbine using the same will be described with reference to the drawings.

With such a structure, the indirect water supply means does not guide the supply water from the separately provided external water supply device (not shown) directly to the seal surface S through a continuous water supply path via pipes or the like, but rather intermittently. The intermittent water supply path having the portion guides the seal surface S indirectly to form a water film.
[0025]
Next, the operation of the shaft sealing device of the present embodiment having the above configuration and the pump turbine using the shaft sealing device will be described.
As described above, the pump turbine shown in FIG. 1 repeatedly performs the turbine operation and the pump operation. When the inside of the

Hereinafter, the functions and effects obtained by the present embodiment will be sequentially described.
(1) Improved followability of seal case
According to the present embodiment, at the time of the water surface pushing-down operation, water is not directly supplied to the seal surface S in a continuous water supply path to the
[0030]
(2) One-side prevention of seal ring
Further, in the shaft sealing device described in
[0031]
In contrast, in the present embodiment, since the supply water is guided to the outer peripheral side of the seal surface S, the pressure of the supply water near the outer periphery of the seal surface S becomes equal to the high pressure air pressure, and the supply water enters the seal surface S. At this time, the air does not face the high-pressure air and uniformly enters the high-pressure air radially inward. Therefore, the pressure distribution (pressure gradient) in the radial direction of the sealing surface S becomes uniform at various locations in the circumferential direction, so that the sealing
[0032]
(3) Downsizing and cost reduction
When a water supply path to the seal surface is formed by using a pipe such as a flexible hose, a plurality of pipes must be provided in a narrow space, so that it has been difficult to reduce the size. In addition, if the rotating shaft moves up and down, the pipe may come off from the seal case that is going to move up and down, and if the pipe comes off, the function of cooling and lubricating the seal surface during the water surface pushing down operation Was sometimes impaired. In this case, a highly reliable joint mechanism is required to prevent the detachment of the flexible pipe, which increases the manufacturing cost of the shaft sealing device itself.
[0033]
On the other hand, in the present embodiment, the size can be reduced because the piping such as the flexible hose is not used, and the cost can be reduced accordingly. Further, since a flexible hose is not used, a highly reliable joint mechanism or the like is not required, which is also an advantage in reducing the size and cost.

In the present embodiment, since the
However, such a configuration for improving maintainability is not always necessary as long as the above-described (1), which is a basic effect of the present invention, is obtained.
[0035]
(5) Emergency stop support
Generally, in a pump turbine, rotation cannot be stopped immediately even if the rotation shaft is stopped. Therefore, in a configuration in which the seal surface is simply supplied with water via a pipe, when the external water supply device is stopped due to some disturbance, for example, after the rotary shaft is suddenly stopped, the seal surface is not completely stopped until completely stopped. Water supply will be cut off. As a result, during that time, the slide always slides in a state where the lubricity and the cooling property are reduced, and the seal ring is easily damaged.

On the other hand, in the present embodiment, since the
