Description

【0001】

[0003]
[Patent Document 1]
JP-A-7-12849
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, fluorine-based oil-proofing agents are said to generate toxic fluorine compounds such as hydrogen fluoride, carbonyl fluoride, and hydrofluoric acid at high temperatures, and oil-resistant paper for food packaging containing such oil-proofing agents is used during cooking or These toxic fluorine compounds may be generated during incineration after disposal after use, and there is a problem in terms of safety.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide an oil-resistant and water-resistant sheet that is safe and is environmentally friendly and can be used for food heating wrapping paper and the like that has oil resistance, water resistance, and heat resistance.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present inventors have conducted intensive studies to develop a safe, environmentally friendly sheet having oil resistance, water resistance, and heat resistance that does not have the above-described problems. The present inventors have found that by forming a film, a sheet suitable for food heating wrapping paper which is excellent in oil resistance, water resistance, and heat resistance and which is safe for food use can be obtained, thereby completing the present invention.
[0006]
According to the present invention, there is provided an oil-resistant / water-resistant sheet and a method for producing the same, wherein at least one surface of the base sheet has a coating layer containing at least a polyvinyl alcohol cured with an isocyanate compound. Is done.
[0007]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Next, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to preferred embodiments.
The oil- and water-resistant sheet of the present invention is characterized in that one or both surfaces of a base sheet have a coating layer containing at least a polyvinyl alcohol cured with an isocyanate compound.
[0008]
Examples of the polyvinyl alcohol used in the present invention include a partially saponified type, a completely saponified type (95 mol% or more saponification degree), or those modified with a carboxyl group, a sulfone group, an acetoacetyl group, a silanol group, or the like. Can be These can be used alone or in combination of two or more. The degree of polymerization is not particularly limited, but is usually in the range of 500 to 3000, preferably in the range of 1000 to 2500. If the degree of polymerization is less than 500, film formation is difficult, and sufficient oil resistance cannot be obtained. On the other hand, when the degree of polymerization exceeds 3000, the viscosity of the solution becomes considerably high, and the coating operation becomes difficult.
[0009]
In the present invention, polyvinyl alcohol is used as a solution (coating solution) dissolved in a solvent, but the solvent is not particularly limited as long as the solvent dissolves polyvinyl alcohol. Examples include water, alcohols (eg, methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, n-propyl alcohol, and isopropyl alcohol), aqueous alcohol solutions, and the like, with water being preferred.
[0010]
The isocyanate compound used as a curing (crosslinking) agent for polyvinyl alcohol in the present invention is at least bifunctional, which is soluble or dispersible in a polyvinyl alcohol solution, and particularly preferably water-soluble or dispersible in water. There are various commercially available isocyanate compounds, which can be obtained and used. Examples include Takenate WD-220, 240, 720, 725, 730 (products of Mitsui Takeda Chemical Co., Ltd.), Acnates 100, 120, 200, 210, etc. (products of Nippon Polyurethane Industry Co., Ltd.). As the water-dispersed blocked isocyanate compound, for example, Takenate WB-700, 720, 730, 920 (a product of Mitsui Takeda Chemical Co., Ltd.) can be used, but a high temperature is required to dissociate the block compound. It is not preferable in terms of work.
[0011]
The oil-resistant and water-resistant sheet of the present invention is manufactured by applying a coating liquid containing at least polyvinyl alcohol and an isocyanate compound to at least one surface of a substrate sheet to form a coating layer.
For that purpose, a coating liquid containing at least a coating layer forming component polyvinyl alcohol and an isocyanate compound is prepared. For example, a coating solution is prepared by dissolving polyvinyl alcohol in a solvent to form a solution, and dissolving or dispersing the isocyanate compound in the solution. Other preparation methods may be used.
[0012]
The amount of the isocyanate compound used depends on the OH group concentration in the polyvinyl alcohol in the coating solution, but is preferably 0.1 to 20% by weight of the isocyanate compound in terms of the solid content of the polyvinyl alcohol. Preferably it is 0.1 to 15% by weight.
[0013]
Additives such as an antifoaming agent, a preservative, and a coloring agent can be appropriately added to the coating liquid as needed.
If necessary, a resin compatible with polyvinyl alcohol can be used in combination as long as the effects of the present invention are not impaired. Examples of such a resin include water-soluble resins such as a copolymer of vinyl alcohol and styrene or acrylate, water-soluble cellulose, polyethylene oxide, and sodium polyacrylate.
[0014]
Examples of the base sheet used in the present invention include paper and nonwoven fabric (rayon, polyester, polyethylene, polypropylene, etc.), but paper is preferred.
[0015]
The coating liquid is usually adjusted to have a solid content of about 2 to 40% by weight, and for example, at least one surface of the base sheet is coated by a known coating method such as a bar coater, a roll coater, an air knife coater, or gravure printing. Coated and dried. The dry weight of the coating layer is not particularly limited, but is usually about 0.1 to 10 g / m 2 .
After the drying, if necessary, the polyvinyl alcohol can be sufficiently cured by aging. The aging condition is not particularly limited, but is, for example, about 20 to 80 ° C. for about 12 to 96 hours.
[0016]
【Example】
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described specifically with reference to Examples and Comparative Examples, but the present invention is not limited to these Examples. In the following description, parts and% are based on weight.
[0017]
Example 1
Takenate WD-720 (manufactured by Mitsui Takeda Co., Ltd.) was added to a 5% aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol (GH-23, manufactured by Nippon Synthetic Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.) at a solid content of 2% with respect to polyvinyl alcohol, A coating solution was prepared. This coating liquid was applied to one side of the base paper with a bar coater No. 05 and dried at 120 ° C. for 20 seconds so that the dry weight was 2 g / m 2 . Then, it was subjected to aging treatment at 40 ° C. for 2 days to obtain food heating wrapping paper.
The oil resistance, water resistance and heat resistance of the obtained food heating wrapping paper were evaluated by the following test methods (the same applies to other examples).
[0018]
(Oil resistance test)
One drop of edible oil is dropped onto the obtained food heating wrapping paper with a 2 ml dropper, and after 30 seconds, the dropped oil drops are wiped off and the presence or absence of oil bleeding on the surface of the paper is visually checked.
Similarly, one drop of edible oil is dropped, and after 30 minutes, the dropped oil drop is wiped off, and the presence or absence of oil bleeding on the surface of the paper is visually checked.
After 30 seconds and 30 minutes, there was no oil bleeding, and sufficient oil resistance was obtained.
[0019]
(Water resistance test)
The obtained food wrapping paper is immersed in a water bath, taken out of the water bath when the whole is sufficiently wetted with water, and dried at 120 ° C. for 30 seconds. The wrapping paper for food heating once immersed in water in this way is again subjected to an oil resistance test by the above-described method, and the presence or absence of oil bleeding on the paper surface after 30 seconds and 30 minutes is visually confirmed.
After 30 seconds and 30 minutes, the oil did not bleed and sufficient water resistance was obtained.
[0020]
(Heat resistance test)
One drop of edible oil was dropped onto the obtained food heating wrapping paper with a 2 ml dropper, heated at 500 W for 1 minute in a microwave oven, and then the dropped oil drops were wiped off to remove oil bleeding on the surface of the paper. The presence or absence is visually checked.
There was no oil bleeding and sufficient oil resistance was obtained.
[0021]
Example 2
A wrapping paper for food heating was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1, except that the isocyanate compound was changed to Acnate 100 (product of Nippon Polyurethane Industry Co., Ltd.). Oil resistance, water resistance and heat resistance were tested in the same manner as in Example 1, but sufficient oil resistance, water resistance and heat resistance were obtained.
[0022]
Comparative Example 1
The base paper itself was subjected to an oil resistance test in the same manner as in Example 1, and after 30 seconds, the presence or absence of oil bleeding on the surface of the paper was visually checked. However, large bleeding occurred and there was no oil resistance.
[0023]
Comparative Example 2
A wrapping paper for heating food was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1 except that a coating solution containing no isocyanate compound was used. This was tested for oil resistance in the same manner as in Example 1. After 30 seconds and 30 minutes, no oil bleeding was observed on the paper surface, and sufficient oil resistance was obtained. A water resistance test was performed in the same manner as in Example 1. However, after 30 seconds, oil bleeding occurred on the surface of the paper, and sufficient water resistance was not obtained. Further, a heat resistance test was carried out in the same manner as in Example 1, but oil bleeding occurred on the surface of the paper, and sufficient heat resistance was not obtained.
[0024]
