Vn≦Vnmax
X=A×(L+C)+B
【0081】
【0113】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a wiping device that removes a processing liquid attached to an edge portion of a metal strip with a fluid, and for example, relates to a wiping device suitably used for removing a processing solution attached to an edge portion of a steel strip.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a steel strip production line, a steel strip may be moved in a predetermined moving direction by various reels and rolls, and may be transported so as to pass through a processing tank in which a processing liquid is stored. In this case, the treatment liquid adheres to the surface of the steel strip that has passed through the treatment tank.
[0003]
Conventionally, a ringer roll for squeezing the processing liquid is provided to remove the processing liquid attached to the steel strip passing through the processing tank. The ringer roll has a pair of rolls arranged to face each other across the steel strip. The pair of rolls are installed so as to sandwich both sides of the steel strip. The processing liquid adhering to both sides of the steel strip by the ringer roll is removed. However, at the edge portion of the steel strip, insufficient drawing tends to occur due to the gap between the rolls formed by the presence of the steel strip, and the processing liquid may remain. If the process proceeds to the subsequent process while the remaining processing liquid is adhered, the steel strip is contaminated, the quality of the steel strip is reduced, and there is a possibility that each device may be damaged in the subsequent process. For this reason, a wiping device for blowing air to the edge portion is provided in order to drain the liquid at the edge portion of the steel strip.

Further, in the wiping device of the second related art, the nozzle is moved by a predetermined distance when the detected edge portion reaches the nozzle installation position. Therefore, when the width dimension of the steel strip changes greatly, the speed exceeds the movable speed of the nozzle, and the nozzle cannot be displaced following the edge portion.
[0011]
For example, a steel strip may be conveyed by joining two steel strips having different width dimensions. As described above, a step portion is formed at a portion where the steel strips are joined, and the position of the edge portion changes suddenly. In this case, as described above, in the
[0012]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a wiping device capable of reliably removing a processing liquid attached to an edge portion of a metal strip.
[0013]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention is a wiping device that blows off a processing liquid adhering to an edge portion of a metal band that has passed through a processing tank in which a processing liquid is stored in a predetermined moving direction,
Spraying means that is provided to be displaceable in an adjustment direction intersecting with the movement direction downstream of the treatment tank in the movement direction, and that sprays a fluid for scattering the treatment liquid toward the metal band,
Driving means for driving the spraying means in the adjustment direction;
Edge detection means provided on the upstream side in the moving direction from the processing tank and detecting the position of the edge portion of the metal strip,
Storage means for sequentially storing the detection positions detected by the edge detection means at predetermined detection intervals in the movement direction;
Based on each detection position stored in the storage means, an edge part line is calculated by interpolating between each detection position, and the blowing means is displaced along the edge part line displaced in the moving direction at the same speed as the metal band. As described above, including control means for controlling the driving means,
When calculating the edge part line, the control means performs a spraying operation necessary for moving the spraying means along the edge part line obtained by interpolating between a predetermined first detection position and a predetermined second detection position. When the moving speed of the means exceeds the maximum moving speed at which the spraying means can be displaced by the driving means, a detecting position which is farther from the first detecting position in the moving direction than the second detecting position is a third detecting position. The wiping device is characterized in that an edge partial line is calculated by interpolating between the first detection position and the third detection position.
[0014]
According to the present invention, the position of the edge portion of the metal band passing on the upstream side in the moving direction from the processing tank is detected at each detection interval. The control means calculates an edge partial line by interpolating between the detected detection positions. By detecting the position of the edge portion on the upstream side of the processing tank in the moving direction, the control unit can determine in advance the position of the edge portion passing through the spraying area on the downstream side of the processing tank in the moving direction.
[0015]
The spray area is an area where the fluid is sprayed by the spray means. The control means moves the blowing means so that the edge portion passes through the blowing area. That is, the spraying means is moved following the position of the edge of the metal strip.
[0016]
At this time, the driving means can smoothly move the blowing means between the detection positions by driving the blowing means to be displaced along the edge part line. Further, the edge part line is set such that the blowing means moving along the edge part line does not exceed its maximum moving speed. This allows the spraying means to accurately trace and move the set edge part line.
[0017]
Therefore, even if there is a step portion in which the width dimension of the metal strip changes suddenly, the blowing means can follow the step portion by moving the spraying means in advance along the edge part line. Thus, the movement of the spraying means can be prevented from being delayed, and the processing liquid adhering to the step portion of the metal band can be blown off by passing the edge portion through the spray region.
[0018]
For example, when the metal strip is a steel strip, the processing liquid attached to the steel strip can be reliably removed. As a result, the quality of the steel strip manufactured is improved, and the steel strip is prevented from being transported to the subsequent process while the treatment liquid is adhered, so that deterioration of each device in the subsequent process can be suppressed. In some cases, two steel strips having different width dimensions are spliced and moved as one steel strip. In this case, at the portion where the two steel strips are joined, a step portion is formed in the width direction. Even in such a case, by using the above-described wiping device, the spraying means moves following the step portion, and the processing liquid attached to the edge portion can be suitably removed.
[0019]
The present invention further includes an input unit for inputting a command to displace the calculated edge part line in the adjustment direction,
The control means corrects the edge partial line so as to be displaced in the adjustment direction based on a command input by the input means.
[0020]
According to the present invention, the edge part line can be finely adjusted in the adjustment direction by the input means. This makes it possible to easily fine-tune the amount of movement of the spraying means in accordance with the amount of meandering or sliding, even when the metal band moves or slides when moving, so that fluid can be more reliably applied to the edges. Can be sprayed on. For example, even when the type of the metal band, the moving device for moving the metal band, the distance from the detection unit to the spraying unit, and the like change, the moving amount of the spraying unit can be easily adjusted.
[0021]
Further, according to the present invention, the edge detecting means includes a photoreceptor in which a plurality of light receiving elements are arranged side by side in a detection direction that intersects the movement direction,
A light emitter that projects light extending in the detection direction toward a light receiver,
The light-emitting body and the light-receiving body are provided so as to face each other with a region through which the edge of the metal band passes.
[0022]
According to the present invention, an edge portion is detected by using a light receiving body on which a plurality of light receiving elements are arranged and a light emitting body that projects light extending in the detection direction toward the light receiving body. By providing the photoreceptor with a plurality of light receiving elements, the detection accuracy of the edge portion can be improved in each step as compared with the conventional edge detection means using the reflection photoelectric tube. This allows the spraying means to more accurately follow the edge portion. For example, the photoreceptor may be a light receiving array or a camera type image sensor. The illuminant may be a light emitting array or a fluorescent lamp.
[0023]
Further, in the present invention, the spraying means has a plurality of spraying parts provided side by side in the moving direction,
The driving means is capable of individually driving each of the spraying parts,
The control means controls the driving means such that each spraying part is displaced along the calculated edge part line.
[0024]
According to the present invention, even when a plurality of ringer rolls are provided, a spray portion can be provided for each ringer roll. Since each spraying part is individually moved according to the distance from the edge detecting means to each spraying part, the fluid sprayed from each spraying part does not shift from the edge part and removes the processing liquid attached to the edge part. Can be removed. This makes it possible to more reliably remove the processing liquid in the edge portion.
[0025]
Further, the present invention is a wiping method for blowing a processing liquid adhering to an edge portion of a metal band that has passed through a processing tank in which a processing liquid is stored in a predetermined moving direction by spraying means,
A detection step that is provided on the upstream side in the movement direction from the processing tank and detects the position of the edge portion of the metal band at every detection interval that is predetermined in the movement direction;
A storage step of sequentially storing each detection position detected by the detection step,
Based on each detection position stored in the storage step, an edge part line is calculated by interpolating between the detection positions, and the blowing means is displaced along the edge part line displaced in the moving direction at the same speed as the metal band. And a spraying step of spraying a fluid for scattering the processing liquid toward the metal band by spraying means on the downstream side in the moving direction from the processing tank.
The spraying step is necessary for calculating the edge part line when moving the spraying means along the edge part line obtained by interpolating between a predetermined first detection position and a predetermined second detection position. If the moving speed exceeds the maximum moving speed at which the spraying means can be displaced, a detection position that is more distant from the first detection position in the movement direction than the second detection position is selected as a third detection position. , A wiping method comprising calculating an edge part line by interpolating between a first detection position and a second detection position.
[0026]
According to the present invention, the position of the edge portion of the metal band passing on the upstream side in the moving direction from the processing tank is detected at each detection interval, and the edge detection line is calculated by interpolating between the detected detection positions. Since the spray area to which the fluid is sprayed by the spray means is downstream of the processing tank in the moving direction, the position of the spray means such that the edge portion passes through the spray area can be determined in advance. Thus, even if the width dimension of the metal strip changes, the spraying means can be moved following the position of the edge portion, and the fluid can be reliably sprayed on the edge portion.
[0027]
Further, by displacing the spraying means along the edge part line, the spraying means can be smoothly moved between the detection positions. Furthermore, since the edge part line is set so as not to exceed the maximum moving speed of the blowing means moving along the edge part line, it is necessary to trace and move the blowing means accurately along the set edge part line. Can be.
[0028]
Even if there is a step portion in which the width dimension of the metal strip changes suddenly, by moving the spraying means in advance along the edge portion line, the spraying means can be moved following the step portion. Thereby, the processing liquid attached to the step portion of the metal strip can be blown off.

Thus, the first detection position S A , The second detection position S B , And travel time T C When the absolute value of the nozzle moving speed Vn becomes equal to or less than the maximum moving speed Vnmax, the process proceeds to step a9. In step a9, a calculation formula for calculating the target position to which the spraying means 15 should move is calculated. The calculation formula is represented by the following formula.
X = A × (L + C) + B
[0081]
Here, X is the target position to which the blowing means 15 should move in the width direction B, and L is the elapsed distance L given in step a2. A, B, and C are represented by the following equations.
[0082]
(Equation 2)
[0083]
Here, C is an additional variable C added to cope with a case where the moving distance Lc exceeds the sampling distance Ls. The additional variable C is represented by multiplying the count value k by the sampling distance Ls. This count value k represents the number of times step s4 is repeated after the calculation formula is created in step a9 and the calculation formula is created again next time. Specifically, when the operation of step a9 in FIG. 7 is performed, the count value k is set to zero. Thereafter, each time the operation of step a4 is performed, 1 is sequentially added to the count value. However, if the operation of step a6 is performed, it is reset to zero again. By repeating the operations of step a4 and step a10, the count value k increases, the additional variable C increases, and the target position X can be obtained from the calculation formula. When calculating the target position from the created calculation formula, the
[0084]
Whether the calculation formula switching condition is satisfied in step a5 is determined, for example, based on whether or not a value obtained by adding the elapsed distance L and the additional variable C is equal to or longer than the moving distance Lc. That is, if Lc ≦ L + k × Ls is satisfied, the process proceeds to step a6; otherwise, the process proceeds to step a10. By using such a calculation formula switching condition, it is possible to obtain the end of the detection section that can be used by using the calculated calculation formula, and to reach the end of the detection section that can be supported by the calculation formula that has already been calculated. The process proceeds to steps a6 to a9, and a new calculation formula can be calculated.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the first aspect of the present invention, it is possible to smoothly move between the detection positions by displacing and driving the spraying means along the edge part line. Further, even if there is a step portion in which the width dimension of the metal band changes suddenly, the spraying means can be moved to follow the step portion, and the processing liquid attached to the step portion of the metal band can be blown off.
[0108]
By blowing off the processing liquid attached to the metal strip, the metal strip can be prevented from being contaminated by the processing liquid, and the quality of the metal strip can be improved. In addition, it is possible to prevent the processing liquid from adhering to each device provided in a process at a later stage of the processing tank, and to eliminate failure of each device caused by the adhesion of the processing liquid. In addition, by moving the spraying means smoothly, an unnecessary load is not applied to the spraying means, and the life of the spraying means can be extended. Further, it is possible to prevent the spraying means from colliding with the metal strip.
[0109]
Further, when the metal strip is a steel strip, the treatment liquid attached to the steel strip can be reliably removed. As a result, the quality of the steel strip manufactured can be improved, and the steel strip can be prevented from being transported to the subsequent process with the treatment liquid attached, thereby suppressing the deterioration of the equipment in the subsequent process. In some cases, two steel strips having different width dimensions are spliced and move as one steel strip. In this case, at the portion where the two steel strips are joined, a step is formed in the width direction. Even in such a case, by using the above-described wiping device, the spraying means moves following the step, and the processing liquid attached to the edge portion can be suitably removed.
[0110]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, the edge part line can be finely adjusted in the adjustment direction by the input means. This makes it possible to easily fine-tune the amount of movement of the spraying means in accordance with the amount of meandering or sliding, even when the metal band moves or slides when moving, so that fluid can be more reliably applied to the edges. Can be sprayed on. For example, even when the metal band to be moved, the moving device for moving the metal band, the distance from the detection means to the spraying means, and the like are changed, adjustment can be easily made.
[0111]
According to the third aspect of the present invention, an edge portion is detected by using a light receiving body on which a plurality of light receiving elements are arranged and a light emitting body that projects light extending in the detection direction toward the light receiving body. . By providing the photoreceptor with a plurality of light receiving elements, the detection accuracy of the edge portion can be improved in each step as compared with the conventional edge detection means using the reflection photoelectric tube. This allows the spraying means to more accurately follow the edge portion.
[0112]
Further, according to the present invention, even when a plurality of ringer rolls are provided, a spray portion can be provided for each ringer roll.
[0113]
According to the fifth aspect of the present invention, even if there is a step portion in which the width direction dimension of the metal strip changes abruptly, the blowing means is moved in advance along the edge part line, so that the blowing means is moved with respect to the step portion. Can be moved to follow. This makes it possible to lengthen the period during which the fluid is sprayed on the step, and to blow off the treatment liquid attached to the step of the metal strip.
[0114]
By blowing off the processing liquid attached to the metal strip, the metal strip can be prevented from being contaminated by the processing liquid, and the quality of the metal strip can be improved. In addition, it is possible to prevent the processing liquid from adhering to each device provided in a process at a later stage of the processing tank, and to eliminate failure of each device caused by the adhesion of the processing liquid.

The driving means is capable of individually driving each of the spraying parts,
The wiping device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the control unit controls the driving unit such that each of the spray units is displaced along the calculated edge part line.
A processing tank in which a processing liquid is stored, a wiping method of blowing off a processing liquid attached to an edge portion of a metal band that has passed in a predetermined moving direction by spraying means,
A detection step that is provided on the upstream side in the movement direction from the processing tank and detects the position of the edge portion of the metal band at every detection interval that is predetermined in the movement direction;
Wiping method, wherein an edge part line is calculated by interpolating between a first detection position and a second detection position.
