Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a structure for storing a spare tire in an automobile, and more particularly to a structure for preventing a low-frequency muffled sound from being generated from a vehicle body-side tire pan when a low-frequency road surface is input from a suspension.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a structure for storing and fixing a spare tire in an automobile, for example, those described in Patent Literature 1 and Patent Literature 2 are known.
[0003]
[Patent Document 1]
JP 2001-18859 A [Patent Document 2]
JP-A-10-35541
In the spare tire support structure described in Patent Document 1, a holding member is provided on a bottom surface of a tire storage floor panel defined on a vehicle body side, and a spare tire is horizontally mounted and fixed in the tire storage floor panel. In this case, the center of the tire wheel of the spare tire is fixed to the vehicle body by bolting, and the holding member contacts the sidewall surface of the rubber tire to support the load of the spare tire. The spare tire support structure described in Patent Document 2 also has a problem in that when a horizontally mounted spare tire is fixed to the vehicle-body-side tire pan, the sidewall surface of the rubber tire comes into contact with the tire pan to fix the spare tire. To support the load.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventional spare tire support structure described above, the following problem occurs because the load of the spare tire is supported by the sidewall of the rubber tire. In other words, there is a concern that the center of gravity of the spare tire is a mass point, the contact state between the spare tire and the tire pan, and the tire pan itself resonates as a spring, thereby generating low-frequency muffled sound and degrading ride comfort. Was.
Also, even if the spare tire center mounting bolts are strongly fastened and the spare tire wheel is pressed against the vehicle body and fixed, as long as the load of the spare tire itself is supported by the rubber tire, it will be greater than the elasticity of the rubber itself. The rigidity of the support structure of the spare tire cannot be increased, and there is a limit in reducing the low-frequency muffled sound.
[0006]
The present invention proposes a spare tire support device that can effectively prevent low-frequency muffled sound generated by resonance between a tire and a tire pan.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
To this end, a spare tire support device according to the present invention is defined by claim 1,
When storing a spare tire in a tire pan provided on a vehicle body in a horizontal position, a spare member is fixed at the center of the spare tire by a vertical member erected on the bottom surface of the tire pan and a fixing member coupled to the vertical member. In structure
A support for supporting the spare tire in contact with a rim of the spare tire is provided upright on the bottom surface of the tire pan.
[0008]
【The invention's effect】
According to the configuration of the present invention, the wheel of the spare tire is fixed to the tire pan by the vertical member standing on the bottom surface of the vehicle body-side tire pan, so that the rim of the wheel and the vehicle body-side tire pan are erected. Due to the rigid contact between the support and each other,
The wheel stiffens the tire pan, thereby preventing the tire pan itself from resonating and generating a low-frequency muffled sound.
[0009]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a plan view of a spare tire storage structure according to an embodiment of the present invention as viewed from above. When the spare tire 1 is stored in the embodiment, the rubber tire 3 on the outer peripheral portion of the spare tire 1 is located between the concentric circles 4 and 5 indicated by dotted lines in FIG. Is located a metal wheel 2 on the inner peripheral portion of the spare tire 1. On the vehicle body side floor panel 9, a tire pan 8 which is a concave part larger than the outer circumference circle 5 indicating the size of the spare tire 1 is defined, and the tire pan 8 is large enough to accommodate the spare tire 1. And Three support members 7 are erected on the tire pan 8 at substantially equal intervals along the inner circumference circle 4.
[0010]
Next, in a state where the spare tire 1 is stored in the tire pan 8, a cross section of the support member 7 and the spare tire 1 is taken along a line AA in FIG. 1, and a cross section viewed in a direction of an arrow is shown in FIG. 2. In order to secure a sufficient area of the floor panel 9, a lid (not shown) can be put on the upper portion of the tire pan 8. The bottom surface of the spare tire 1 is provided at a position lower than the sum of the thickness of the lid (not shown), the tire width of the rubber tire 3, and the standing height of the support member 7 from the surface of the floor panel 9.
[0011]
At the center of the tire pan 8, a center shaft member 10 is vertically provided. The upper end of the center shaft member 10 can be fixed to the center of the wheel 2 of the spare tire 1 by using a detachable fixing bolt 12. Since the upper end of the supporting member 7 comes into contact with the rim 2r of the metal wheel 2 and has a standing height to separate the sidewall of the rubber tire 3 from the tire pan 8, the supporting member 7 bears the load of the spare tire 1.
[0012]
By the way, in the present embodiment, the vertical member 10 and the support member 7 are erected on the bottom surface of the tire pan 8, and the wheel 2 is fixed to the vertical member 10 via the fixing bolt 12 when the spare tire 1 is stored. At the same time, since the support member 7 makes rigid contact with the rim 2r of the spare tire 1,
Since the wheel 2 stiffens the tire pan 8, it is possible to prevent the tire pan 8 itself from resonating and generating a low-frequency muffled sound.
[0013]
In addition, since the support member 7 supports the rim 2r and separates the rubber tire 3 of the spare tire 1 from the tire pan 8,
Compared to the case where the sidewall of the rubber tire 3 is brought into contact with the tire pan 8 and the spare tire 1 is placed horizontally, the rigidity of the connection between the spare tire 1 and the tire pan 8 can be increased. Low frequency muffled sound can be prevented.
[0014]
Further, in the present embodiment, the rim 2r is stably supported by standing the support members 7 at three points at equal intervals on the circumference of the circle 4 having the same diameter as the rim 2r, and the spare tire is fastened by fastening the fixing bolts 12. Since the center of the wheel 1 was fixed so as to be pressed toward the tire pan 8 below,
The tire pan 8, the vertical member 10, the support member 7, and the wheel 2 form a three-dimensional structure, and the rigidity of the tire pan 8 itself increases. Therefore, generation of the low-frequency muffled sound can be reliably prevented.
[0015]
Next, FIG. 3 shows an embodiment in which the support member 7 according to the embodiment shown in FIG. 2 is provided with a stepped portion 7d. As shown in FIG. 3, the support member 7 has a trapezoidal shape that becomes thinner as it goes upward, and its tip 7e is located inside the rim 2r. Further, a horizontal stepped portion 7d is provided on the radially outer side surface of the wheel 2 of the support member 7, and the rim 2r is placed on the stepped portion 7d to support the load of the spare tire 1.
[0016]
In the present embodiment, since the stepped portion 7d is provided on the radially outer side surface of the wheel 2 of the support member 7, the center of the wheel 2 and the vertical member 10 can be easily aligned when the spare tire 1 is stored. Therefore, the work efficiency of the fastening operation of the fixing bolt 12 is improved. Further, since the rim 2r is engaged with the support member 7 so as not to move horizontally, the connection rigidity between the spare tire 1 and the tire pan 8 can be further increased, and the occurrence of the booming sound can be reliably prevented.
[0017]
When the support member 7 and the tire pan 8 are integrally formed by pressing or the like so that the support member 7 protrudes from the tire pan 8 in the manufacturing process of the tire pan 8, the number of parts does not increase. The increase in weight is suppressed, and the efficiency of assembly work is improved.
[Brief description of the drawings]
FIG. 1 is a plan view of a spare tire storage structure according to an embodiment of the present invention.
FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of a main part of the support device according to the embodiment, taken along line AA of FIG. 1 and viewed in the direction of arrows;
FIG. 3 is a sectional view of a main part of a support device for a spare tire according to another embodiment of the present invention.
