なお、赤外線通信手段15の位置および通信相手に正対させるための方向を指示する方法としては、図柄を表示する代りに音声による案内を用いることもできる。または、図柄の表示と同時に、通信相手に正対していないことを知らせる警告音もしくは、方向指示の案内音声の発信とを併用することも可能である。
