従来、絵画、書、写真等は額縁に入れて掲げられている。この場合、額縁は単なる飾りや掲示の手段として使用されている。更に、額縁全体の内部を密閉構造とすると共に内部の空気を不活性ガス等に置換して絵画を保護する方法や保護板の周囲に袋状の包囲体を取り付けて密閉構造部を形成しこの中に絵画を入れて保護する方法が知られている。（例えば、特願２０００−３０２９０６号参照）

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来の密閉構造の額縁は透明な保護板の側面の周囲に柔軟な袋状の包囲体を取り付け、この包囲体の内部を密閉構造部とし、内部に絵画や書、写真等を入れて保護するものである。この方法では、保護板が接着に必要な充分な厚さではないため、保護板と袋状の接着部の強度が低く、絵画や書、写真等の作品の出し入れに際し接着部が外れたり破損しやすいという問題点があった。特に、作品が大きい場合や頻繁に作品を出し入れする場合にはこの問題が顕著になった。

本発明は、保護板と袋状の包囲体の接着面をより大きくして接着部の強度を高めることにより、作品の出し入れにも破損しにくく、しかもより額縁の大型化を可能にした密閉式額縁を提供することを目的としている。

【発明の実施の形態】
発明の実施の形態を実施例にもとづき図面を参照して説明する。
