Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a grid for a lead storage battery.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 3, the lead-acid battery lattice body 1 has an upper frame bone 2a, vertical frame bones 3a and 3b, a lower frame bone 2b, a vertical middle bone 4a, and a horizontal middle bone 4b. In this structure, the ear portion 5 is provided at a position from one side of 2a (for example, see Patent Document 1).
[0003]
[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Patent No. 2805910 (FIG. 1)
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventional lead-acid battery using the lead-acid battery lattice body 1, the lattice body 1 is easy to extend in the lateral direction because the longitudinal middle bone 4a and the lateral middle bone 4b have a small cross-sectional area and a large number of them. There is a problem that the vertical frame bone 3 on the side remote from 5 is broken, whereby the vertical medial bone 4a extends upward and hits the counter electrode strap, thereby causing a short circuit.
[0005]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a grid for a lead-acid battery, which extends upward during charging and discharging and can prevent a short circuit from being caused by hitting a strap of a counter electrode.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention improves a lead-acid battery lattice body having an upper frame bone, a vertical frame bone, a lower frame bone, a vertical medial bone, and a lateral medial bone, and having an ear portion provided in the upper frame bone.
[0007]
The grid for a lead storage battery according to the present invention is characterized in that the medial bone remote from the ear is provided with a slanted medial bone instead of a lateral medial bone.
[0008]
In this way, when the grid body for a lead storage battery is configured such that the oblique medial bone is provided instead of the lateral medial bone on the side far from the ear, when the lattice body is extended by charging and discharging of the storage battery, Since there is no horizontal middle bone on the same line, the stretching force is dispersed, and the vertical frame bone does not break. As a result, the longitudinal medial bone does not suddenly elongate in the longitudinal direction, so that it is possible to prevent a short circuit from hitting the opposite strap.
[0009]
In this case, it is preferable that the oblique middle bones cross each other.
[0010]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
FIG. 1 is a front view showing a first example of an embodiment of a grid for a lead-acid battery according to the present invention. Parts corresponding to those in FIG. 3 described above are denoted by the same reference numerals.
[0011]
In the grid body 1 for a lead-acid battery of the present embodiment, the lateral medial bone 4b on the side remote from the ears 5 is not in the range of 30% of the lateral width of the lattice body 1, but is instead inclined obliquely downward at an angle of 30 °. 6a is provided so as to be connected to each lateral middle bone 4b.
[0012]
A JIS overcharge life test was performed on an 80D26 type lead-acid battery using the lead-acid battery grid 1. As a result, the life cycle of the 80D26-type storage battery using the conventional grid is 10 times, whereas the life of the 80D26-type storage battery using the grid of the first example of the present invention is 12 times. Met. The cause of the life at this time is a short circuit between the strap and the lattice body due to the elongation of the lattice body in the 80D26 type storage battery using the conventional lattice body, whereas the 80D26 type storage battery using the lattice body of the present invention has a lattice failure. The life was due to deterioration of the body. In the lattice body of the present invention, when the lattice body 1 is extended by charging / discharging of the storage battery, since the lateral middle bone 4b is not on the same line, the extending force is dispersed, and the vertical frame bone 3a is not broken. As a result, the longitudinal medial bone 4a does not suddenly elongate in the longitudinal direction, so that it is possible to prevent a short circuit from hitting the opposite strap.
[0013]
[Table 1]
Figure 2004259458
FIG. 2 is a front view showing a second example of the embodiment of the grid for a lead storage battery according to the present invention. Note that parts corresponding to those in FIG. 1 described above are denoted by the same reference numerals.
[0014]
In the lead-acid battery lattice body 1 of this example, the lateral middle bones 4b on the side remote from the ears 5 are not within the range of 30% of the lateral width of the lattice body 1, and instead, the end of each lateral central bone 4b is placed in the minus direction. The oblique medial bone 6a is provided to be connected to each lateral medial bone 4b obliquely downward at an angle of 30 °, and the oblique medial bone 6b is connected to each lateral medial bone 4b obliquely downward at an angle of 30 ° in the positive direction. The oblique middle bones 6a and 6b are in a state of crossing each other.
[0015]
The same effect as in the first example can be obtained even with a lead storage battery using such a grid 1 for a lead storage battery.
[0016]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, in the lead-acid battery lattice body according to the present invention, the middle bone far from the ear is provided with the oblique middle bone instead of the horizontal middle bone, so that the storage battery is charged and discharged. When the lattice body is extended, since there is no horizontal middle bone on the same line, the stretching force is dispersed, and the vertical frame bone is not broken. As a result, the longitudinal medial bone does not suddenly elongate in the longitudinal direction, so that it is possible to prevent a short circuit from hitting the opposite strap.
