本発明は、光ディスクを再生して得られた信号を表示装置に出力することによって、映像の表示と音声の出力とを行うディスク再生装置に係り、より詳細には、光ディスクの再生禁止に設定された範囲の映像の表示を停止するディスク再生装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
映画等の映像が記録されたＤＶＤには、例えば、子供が視聴するには相応しくない内容が記録されたＤＶＤがある。このため、パレンタルロック機能を用いて、視聴制限を行うようになっている。すなわち、ＤＶＤのそれぞれには、１〜８までの８段階の視聴制限のレベルのうち、記録された内容に対応するレベルが記録されている。また、この視聴制限のレベルは、数値が大きくなるほどに、制限の程度が強くなっていて、装置に設定された制限レベルより、レベルが小さいＤＶＤのみが再生可能となる。このため、装置を低年齢向けに設定するときには、装置に設定する制限レベルを小さい値とし、高年齢向けに設定するときには、装置に設定する制限レベルを大きい値とするようになっている。また、制限レベルを０〜８の９段階に拡張した装置も提案されており、制限レベルの０が装置に設定された場合では全てのＤＶＤの再生を禁止するようになっている。

しかし、過激な映像等の視聴を制限するのが相応しい映像がビデオＣＤに記録されている場合があり、視聴制限を行うのに相応しい音声がＣＤに記録されている場合もあるため、以下に示す従来技術が提案されている。すなわち、この技術においては、再生禁止のレベル（レベル０）が設定されていると、ＤＶＤ、ビデオＣＤ、ＣＤの再生を禁止するようになっている。そして、レベル０とは異なるレベル（レベル１〜８）が設定されている場合では、再生の対象がＤＶＤの場合、パレンタルロック機能に基づいて視聴の制限を行い、ビデオＣＤやＣＤの場合では、通常に再生を行うようになっている。このため、過激な映像が記録されたビデオＣＤ、あるいは、過激な音声が記録されたＣＤの視聴を制限することができるようになっている（例えば、特許文献１参照）。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら上記従来技術を用いた場合では、以下に示す問題が生じていた。すなわち、ＤＶＤに記録された映像は、その大部分が視聴を制限する必要のない内容となっており、一部においてのみ視聴を制限する必要のある映像となっているに過ぎない場合でも、視聴制限を行った場合、全ての映像の再生が禁止されてしまう。このため、ユーザにとっては、パレンタルロック機能による視聴制限が使い勝手の悪いものに感じられることがあった。

本発明は上記課題を解決するため創案されたものであって、その目的は、一部に視聴制限のシーンがあるのみで光ディスクの全体が視聴制限の対象になってしまうという不便さを解消することのでき、且つ、再生禁止に設定された範囲についても、パスワードを入力することによって視聴を行うようにすることのでき、且つ、再生禁止の範囲を設定するときにも、再生禁止に設定された範囲に対する処理をユーザの好みに応じたものとすることのでき、且つ、再生禁止の範囲の設定を削除することのできるディスク再生装置を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するため本発明に係るディスク再生装置は、少なくとも映像と音声とが記録された光ディスクを再生して得られた信号を表示装置に出力することによって、表示装置において映像を表示するとともに表示装置において音声を出力するディスク再生装置に適用している。そして、予め入力されたパスワードを記憶するパスワード記憶手段と、光ディスクの再生を禁止する範囲であり、禁止開始位置と禁止終了位置とによって範囲が示される再生禁止範囲を、光ディスクを識別するディスク識別情報に対応付けて記憶する禁止情報記憶手段とを備えている。また、パスワードモードとスキップモードとの２種のモードから一方のモードが選択可能となっており、再生対象となる光ディスクが、禁止情報記憶手段においてディスク識別情報と再生禁止範囲とが対応付けられる形で記憶された光ディスクであり、且つ、スキップモードが選択されていたときには、前記再生禁止範囲を飛び越した再生を行い、再生対象となる光ディスクが、禁止情報記憶手段においてディスク識別情報と再生禁止範囲とが対応付けられる形で記憶された光ディスクであり、且つ、パスワードモードが選択されていたきには、前記再生禁止範囲の禁止開始位置まで光ディスクの再生を行ったときにパスワードの入力を求め、入力されたパスワードがパスワード記憶手段に記憶されたパスワードと一致するときには前記再生禁止範囲の再生を行うようになっている。また、パスワード記憶手段に記憶されたパスワードに一致するパスワードが入力されたときには、禁止情報記憶手段に記憶された再生禁止範囲の削除を許可している。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下に本発明の実施例の形態を、図面を参照しつつ説明する。
図１は、本発明に係るディスク再生装置の第１の実施形態の電気的構成を示すブロック線図である。

図において、ディスク再生手段２は、映像が記録されたＤＶＤ（光ディスク）１からの情報を読み取るピックアップ、ピックアップの出力からデジタルデータを復調する信号処理回路、復調されたデジタルデータを伸長することにより、映像信号と音声信号とを復調するデコード回路、ピックアップの読み取り位置をトラックに追従させるためのサーボ回路、等を備えている。そして、ＤＶＤ１を再生して得られた映像信号と音声信号とを、出力端子９を介して、テレビ受像機（表示装置）１０に出力する。入力手段４は、前面パネルに設けられた複数のキースイッチや、リモートコントローラ５からの赤外線信号を受光する受光ユニット等を備えたブロックとなっており、ユーザからの指示が入力される。また、入力されたユーザからの指示を制御手段３に送出する。

そして、テレビ受像機１０に表示された再生禁止範囲の一覧を参照しつつ、リモートコントローラ５を用いることにより、禁止の範囲の削除を行うことができるようになっている。この削除の方法は、タイトルを指定して削除する場合では、該当するＤＶＤ１に対して設定された再生禁止範囲の全てが削除される（例えば、タイトルの『ＢＢＢＢ』を指定して削除を行うと、設定された３つの再生禁止範囲の全てが、タイトルとともに削除される）。また、禁止開始位置（禁止終了位置でもよい）を指定して削除する場合では、指定された禁止開始位置に対応する再生禁止範囲の設定が削除されるようになっている（再生禁止範囲の設定が１箇所のみであるときには、タイトルも併せて削除される）。なお、このときでは、パスワードの入力が求められ、入力されたパスワードが正しいときにのみ、削除が可能になっている。

一方、ステップＳ１４〜Ｓ１７のループ動作においては、再生中のＤＶＤ１が、再生禁止範囲が設定されたＤＶＤであるのか、あるいは、再生禁止範囲が未設定のＤＶＤであるのかの判定（禁止情報記憶手段７に、同じタイトル名が再生禁止範囲に対応付ける形で既に記憶されているかどうかの判定）を行わないようになっている。従って、１箇所の再生禁止範囲を設定したことから、現在再生中のＤＶＤ１のタイトルが、禁止開始位置と禁止終了位置とに対応付けられる形で禁止情報記憶手段７に記憶されていても、現在再生中のＤＶＤ１に対しては、再生禁止範囲が設定されなかったときと同じように動作が実行される。従って、再度ロックキーを操作すると、２つ目の再生禁止範囲の禁止開始位置を禁止情報記憶手段７に記憶させるための制御が行われる。そして後、ロックキーを操作したときには、２つ目の再生禁止範囲の禁止終了位置を禁止情報記憶手段７に記憶させるための制御が行われる。すなわち、ユーザが望む数の再生禁止範囲を設定して、禁止情報記憶手段７に記憶させることができるようになっている。

以上説明したように、本発明では、過激な映像等となる範囲を、再生を禁止する範囲として指示すると、指示された範囲は、再生禁止範囲として禁止情報記憶手段に記憶される。従って、再生時では、再生の禁止を指示した範囲（再生禁止範囲）の再生が禁止され、その他の範囲については、再生が禁止されない。また、パスワード記憶手段に記憶されたパスワードに一致するパスワードを入力した場合には、再生禁止範囲の再生の禁止が解除される。また、パスワードモードを選択すると、パスワードを入力する手間が必要になるが、再生禁止範囲の再生禁止を解除することができ、スキップモードを選択すると、パスワードの入力の求めに対応する操作を入力することなく、再生禁止範囲を自動的に飛び越して再生を行わせることができる。また、パスワード記憶手段に記憶されたパスワードに一致するパスワードを入力する場合では、再生禁止範囲の設定を解除することができる。このため、一部に視聴制限のシーンがあるのみで光ディスクの全体が視聴制限の対象になってしまうという不便さを解消することができ、且つ、再生禁止に設定された範囲についても、パスワードを入力することによって視聴を行うようにすることができ、且つ、再生禁止の範囲を設定するときにも、再生禁止に設定された範囲に対する処理を、ユーザの好みに応じたものとすることができ、且つ、再生の禁止の範囲の設定を削除することができる。
