本発明は水を使用した例えば、水を含んだ湿式フィルター等を利用し、ゴミ、汚れ、雑菌等の含まれている室内空気を、前記水湿式フィルターを通過させ、室内空気の脱臭、加湿或いは有機物の分解、空気清浄、気化による冷却作用を意図した空気調和装置で、前記湿式フィルターの湿式に使用する水が雑菌等で汚染される事を防止するものである。

【従来の技術】
例えば、乾式の空気調和装置はゴミをフィルター等に吸引、吸着させるが、これはゴミの吸引量の増大と共に初期性能の低下が生じフィルターの交換や維持管理の必要が不可欠である。
これに対し、湿式の空気清浄器や加湿器或いは気化式の冷風機等、水とフィルターを併用使用したものがあり、特に循環水を使用するものは初期性能が極めて長く継続し、メンテナンスが容易であることがよく知られているが、循環水が空気中のゴミ、雑菌などにより汚染水となり、ひいては装置が汚染源となり、汚染された空気調和装置から送風される細菌等の汚染空気により室内全体に汚染が生じかねず、ひいては病原菌の発生も考えられる。
ところで従来の、この種の機器及び装置は、汚染防止を目的としたオゾン発生装置や紫外線等を併用使用する物や光触媒、何々セラミック等あるいは高温酸化触媒方式等など各種の処理が提案されているが、2次生成物や弊害は定かではない。また、殺菌効果としてアルコールや、各種消毒薬等の使用等もあるが、これらは室内に何らかの物質を加えることとなり、安全性も定かではない。

【課題を解決するための課題】
ここで、室内空気を送風装置等を用いて前記装置内の水湿式フィルター等に空気を導入し空気調和作用を行う際に、使用する循環水の中に殺菌力のあり、使用に際し2次生成物の心配が無く、人体に無害かつ室内に拡散しない物質を配合することで安全に雑菌の繁殖を押さえる事ができる。
本発明は、上記の問題点に鑑み考案されたもので、空気調和装置内の電気装置によって回転を与えられたファン或いは回転作用とピッチによって作り出された空気圧の圧力差で装置内に吸引された室内空気は、循環水の効果で水湿式フィルター状態となった膜状フィルター表面部に確実に接触、濾過、あるいは気化されるが、この時、吸引された室内空気にカビや花粉だけでなく、空気中に浮遊するカンピロバクター、サルモネラ、ビブリオ、ポツリヌス、ブドウ球菌等の食中毒菌やレジオネラ菌等が循環水に溶け込む事になり、適度な空気あるいは嫌気がそれぞれのコロニーを形成し、強制空冷の空気調和装置の作用で有害な毒物や細菌が室内に飛散、拡散し、人体の肺や皮膚などに寄生、感染し健康を害する事になるが、循環水に配合された本発明の不揮発性殺菌剤の殺菌効果により、空気調和装置に使用する循環水は清潔に保たれ、殺菌剤の成分が室内に飛散する事なく雑菌等の室内拡散が防止できる。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の問題点を解決するために本発明は、食品などの殺菌、腐敗防止などに利用されている有機酸を、殺菌効果が持続可能な必要量を空気調和装置の循環水に殺菌剤として配合し、空気調和装置の循環水を殺菌剤の抗菌作用で清潔に維持するための殺菌剤である。本発明に使用する有機酸は抗菌力のある酢酸やコハク酸あるいはプロピオン酸等でも良いが、本装置の場合は特に不揮発性の有機酸である乳酸が好適である。
これは、本装置のように前記の湿式状態となっているフィルターを通過する際に、相対湿度によっては、気化作用が盛んになり絶えず水が気化し、水に配合された有機酸も、同時に気化し、室内に送風される事になるが、前記の乳酸は公知のように、ほとんど不揮発性で、濃度の変化も少なく、酸性の蒸気の発生もない、安全で無色透明な無臭の殺菌効果の強い、循環水に簡便に配合できる好適な有機酸である。
本発明の装置では前記の乳酸を配合する際の乳酸濃度は0,5%を越えた濃度で殺菌効果が確認されている、加えて乳酸の濃度が0,5%程度で循環水のPHは容易に4,4以下となり雑菌の繁殖抑制の効果が生じることとなり、これは、塩酸などと比較しても希薄濃度で微生物の生育阻止作用を示しており、又、使用する循環水が気化作用等により濃縮されても、乳酸は蒸散されにくく使用に際しての支障は生じないため安全である、また万一事故等により本発明の乳酸配合水が飛散された場合であっても、乳酸は多くの食品に常在する有機酸であって昔から乳製品や漬物等の食品として広く接種された酸であり人体に無害である。
加えて、配合後の循環水の汚れが酷くなった場合は、廃棄され新規に注入される事になるが、廃棄に際しても環境負荷は極めて小さく安価かつ安全である。

【発明の実施の形態】
室内用空気調和装置の運転に際し、、貯水タンクから循環されることになる循環水に乳酸の濃度を0,5%以上となるように適量を投入配合する。
乳酸は極めて顕著な水溶性の液体であって、速やかに乳酸水溶液が形成される。
循環水に配合後急速に乳酸水溶液となり、装置内に吸引された室内空気は乳酸の配合された殺菌力を有する循環水に、密接に触れあいながら室内空気を連続的かつ急速に調和し装置の効果及び殺菌作用により清潔な状態が継続される。
乳酸は循環水の蒸発に応じて補給される水に適量を定期的に配合するが、循環水が著しく汚れた場合は適量の乳酸が配合された循環水と全量交換し、有害な細菌の繁殖を押さえ、安全で快適な室内環境と、清潔な循環水が維持提供される。
又、乳酸は安全性が高く循環水の乳酸濃度が例えば50%を越すような高濃度であっても運転に支障は無く、臭気も殆ど感じる事なく殺菌効果を維持できる。
乳酸を使用した循環水の殺菌抗菌効果が継続することは、空気調和装置に使用する循環水の安全と清潔を意味し、この事で空気調和装置を通過した室内空気は雑菌等細菌汚染のない、清潔な空気に浄化され、安全で清潔な水を加湿、あるいは冷風気化等に利用できる事で、空気清浄あるいは、清潔で安全な空気調和装置が可能となる。
