従来、FM放送帯又はAM放送帯等の受信用の自動車用ガラスアンテナとして図3に示す形状の自動車用ガラスアンテナを用いていた(例えば、特許文献1参照)。

図3に示す自動車用ガラスアンテナでは、窓ガラス板1にアンテナ導体5及び給電点2が設けられている。アンテナ導体5及び給電点2は、通常、導電性銀ペーストを窓ガラス板1の面にプリント印刷し、焼付けること等によって形成されたものが用いられる。アンテナ導体5の導体幅は、通常0.4から1.0mmである。

自動車の後部窓ガラス板を使用して、図1、2に示すような自動車用ガラスアンテナを製作した。導電性銀ペーストを後部窓ガラス板の車内側表面にプリントし、焼付けて、第1のアンテナ素子3を形成した後、鉛及び珪酸を含有した結晶化ガラスのペーストを図1に示すように、第1のアンテナ素子3の上にプリントし、焼付けて絶縁体層6を形成した。
