本発明は、開き方向へ移動するスライドドアを中間位置で止め、かつスライドドアを上記中間位置に保持する車両用スライドドアの開閉装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、自動車のスライドドアには、窓ガラスを昇降して開閉する窓が設けられている。この種のスライドドアは、窓が開いているときにスライドドアを開く際、スライドドアを全開位置よりも手前の中間位置で止める中間ストッパ装置が設けられている。

図6に示すように、スライドドアDには、窓D1のウィンドウレギュレータに、窓D1の開閉動作と連動する作動部材90と、スライドドアDのロアローラーRの支持ステーに設けられ、上記作動部材90と連動する中間ストッパ91とからなる中間ストッパ装置が設置されたものがある。該中間ストッパ装置は窓D1が所定の位置まで開くと作動部材90が作動し、これと連動して中間ストッパ91は車体側へ突出する作動位置となって、スライドドアDが全開位置よりも手前の中間位置に至ると、作動位置となった中間ストッパ91が車体に設けられた車体側ストッパ部92に衝き当たり、これ以上にスライドドアD1が開かないようになっている。窓D1を閉じると中間ストッパは車体側ストッパ部92を通過する非作動位置となる(例えば、特許文献1参照。)。

また他の従来構造として、車体側に設けられたストライカとドア側に設けられたラッチとを係脱可能に係合せしめてスライドドアの開き移動を中間位置で止めるようにしたものがある。図7に示すように、車体側には、スライドレールSに沿うように中間ストライカ81と、全開ストライカ82が設けられている。スライドドア側には、ロアローラーRの支持ステーに両ストライカ81,82に係脱可能なラッチ83と、スライドドアの窓が所定の位置まで開くと第1のリンク84に押されてラッチ83と係合可能な位置へ移動する中間ポール85と、スライドドアが全開位置まで移動したときに、ラッチ83と係合可能な全開ポール87が設けられている。中間ポール85は、窓を所定の位置まで開いてスライドドアを開き、ラッチ83が中間ストライカ81と係合したときに、ラッチ83の一方の係合解除方向への移動を禁止してスライドドアの開き方向(白矢印X)への移動を規制するように設けられている。全開ポール87は、ラッチ83が全開ストライカ81と係合したときに、ラッチ83の他方の係合解除方向への移動を禁止してスライドドアの閉じ方向への移動を規制するように設けられている(例えば、特許文献2参照。)。図の86は第2のリンクで、ドアハンドルの操作によりラッチ83と全開ポール87との係合を解除するものである。他の従来構造によれば、窓が開いたままスライドドアを開くと、中間ストライカ81にラッチ83が係合したとき、中間ポール85がラッチ83に係合して、ドア開き方向へのラッチ83と中間ストライカ81との係合解除を禁止するのでスライドドアの中間位置を越える全開位置への移動が規制される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上述のいずれの従来構造も、スライドドアの中間位置から開き方向への移動は規制されるが、中間位置から閉じ方向への移動は規制されない。従って、車両を下り坂等に駐車したときに、スライドドアを上記中間位置へ開くと不意にスライドドアが閉じ方向へ戻ってしまうおそれがあった。そこで本発明は、スライドドアの中間位置を越える開き方向への移動を規制するとともに、中間位置から閉じ方向への移動も規制することができる車両用スライドドアの開閉装置を提供することを課題としてなされたものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、車体に設けられた車体側ストッパ部材と、スライドドアに設けられ、上記車体側ストッパ部材に当接することにより上記スライドドアが全開位置よりも手前の中間位置を越えて開くことを規制する規制位置、および上記車体側ストッパ部材に当接せずに上記スライドドアが上記中間位置を越えて開くことを許容する規制解除位置とに移動可能なドア側ストッパ部材と、該ドア側ストッパ部材を移動させるための第1の作動機構と、車体側に設けられた車体側ロック部材と、上記スライドドアに設けられ、スライドドアを上記全開位置まで開いたときに上記車体側ロック部材に噛み合いスライドドアを上記全開位置に保持するドア側ロック部材とを備えた車両のスライドドアの開閉装置において、上記ドア側ロック部材を、上記車体側ストッパ部材に当接することにより上記スライドドアが上記中間位置から閉じ方向へ移動することを規制する規制位置、および上記車体側ストッパ部材に当接せずにスライドドアが上記中間位置から閉じ方向へ移動することを許容する規制解除位置とに移動可能に設け、上記ドア側ストッパ部材が上記規制位置にある状態でスライドドアを上記中間位置まで開くと上記ドア側ロック部材を上記規制位置に移動させる第2の作動機構を設ける(請求項1)。ドア側ストッパ部材が規制位置のとき、この状態でスライドドアを開いてドアが中間位置に至ると、ドア側ストッパ部材が車体側ストッパ部材に当接してスライドドアが中間位置を越えて開くことを規制するとともに、第2の作動機構によりドア側ロック部材が規制位置へ移動し、スライドドアが中間位置から閉じ方向へ戻ろうとするとドア側ロック部材が車体側ストッパ部材に当接して閉じ方向へ移動することを規制する。従って、スライドドアが中間位置で保持され、下り坂等でも不意にドアが閉まることがない。

図1および図2に示すように、スライドドアDにはその前縁下端部に、ドア内面から車体側へ向けて突出し、ロアローラーRを支持する支持ステーR1が設けてある。支持ステーR1には、ドア側ストッパ部材2とドア側ロック部材3が設置してある。

ドア側ストッパ部材2は金属製のレバー体で、基端が支軸21により枢支され、支持ステーR1の端縁に沿ってドア側に格納せしめた規制解除位置(実線位置)と、先端を車体側へ突出せしめた規制位置(鎖線位置)とに回動可能に設けてある。ドア側ストッパ部材2は支軸21まわりに設けられたバネ部材22により矢印A方向へ付勢されている。ドア側ストッパ部材2の基端部にはこれを延長する突起27が設けてある。突起27はドア側ストッパ部材2とは別部材で構成してあり、突起27の根元部をドア側ストッパ部材2の基端部に重ね合わせてリベット締めしてある。尚、突起27とドア側ストッパ部材2を一部品で構成してもよい。ドア側ストッパ部材2には当接部28が設けてある。

ストッパ係合部材20は基端が支軸23により回動自在に枢支され、かつバネ部材29により矢印C方向へ付勢されている。ストッパ係合部材20は、その先端の係合爪24を、ドア側ストッパ部材2の基端外周に設けた段差状の係合部25に係合せしめてドア側ストッパ部材2を上記規制解除位置に保持する。またストッパ係合部材20は、スライドドアDの窓を所定の位置よりも開いた時(窓を規定量以上に開いたとき)に作動する作動装置(図略)とワイヤ部材W1を介して連動するように連結してある。スライドドアDの窓が規定量以上開いた状態で上記作動装置が作動してワイヤ部材W1が矢印E方向へ引っ張られると、ストッパ係合部材20は反矢印C方向へ回動して係合爪24と係合部25との係合が解除される。これによりドア側ストッパ部材2は、バネ部材22の付勢力により上記規制解除位置から矢印A方向に回動して上記規制位置に移動する。

次に本スライドドアの開閉装置の作動を図3および図4に基づいて説明する。図3に示すように、スライドドアD閉鎖時、ドア側ストッパ部材2は上記規制解除位置(鎖線位置)にあり、ドア側ロック部材3も上記規制解除位置にある。そして、スライドドアDの窓を規定量以上開いた状態でスライドドアDを開くと、規制解除位置にあるドア側ストッパ2とストッパ係合部材20との係合が解除され、ドア側ストッパ2が上記規制位置へ移動する(実線位置)。この場合、ドア側ストッパ部材2は基端の突起27が連結部材4の端末44に当接し、これによりドア側ストッパ部材2は車体側へ向けて傾斜状に突出した状態で保持される。

本発明の車両用スライドドアの開閉装置によれば、スライドドアの中間位置を越える開き方向への移動を規制するとともに、中間位置から閉じ方向への移動も確実に規制することができ、スライドドアの中間位置からの不意の閉じ移動を防ぐことができる。
