Description

【0001】

[0010]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
The details of the disposable excrement disposal pad according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0011]
1 and 2 are a perspective view of an excrement disposal pad 1A shown as an example and a cross-sectional view taken along line II-II of FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line III-III of FIG. is there. In FIG. 1, the horizontal direction is indicated by an arrow L, the vertical direction is indicated by an arrow M, and the thickness direction is indicated by an arrow N. The inner surfaces of the front and back sheets 2 and 3 refer to surfaces facing the core 4, and the outer surfaces of the sheets 2 and 3 refer to surfaces not facing the core 4.
[0012]
The pad 1A has a liquid-permeable top sheet 2 located on the skin contact side, a liquid-impermeable back sheet 3 located on the non-skin contact side, and a liquid absorbing property interposed between the front and back sheets 2 and 3. And a core 4. The pad 1A includes a front region 5 and a rear region 6 arranged in the vertical direction, and peripheral portions 7, 8 extending in the circumferential direction of the regions 5, 6, and located above the peripheral portions 7, 8 of the regions 5, 6. And a peripheral wall portion 9 that is elastically expandable and contractable and extends in the circumferential direction. The peripheral portions 7 and 8 are formed by the front and back sheets 2 and 3 and the core 4.
[0013]
In the pad 1A, the peripheral portions 7, 8 of the front and rear regions 5, 6 form an arc, and the space between the regions 5, 6 is constricted inward in the horizontal direction. Present. In the pad 1A, the area of the front region 5 is smaller than that of the rear region 6. The pad 1A has a pair of first and second strips 10, 11 that can be pulled in the longitudinal direction, and a fastening tape 12 for maintaining the folded state of the pad 1A (see FIG. 5). And are attached.
[0014]
The topsheet 2 is formed from a hydrophilic fiber nonwoven fabric 13. The back sheet 3 is formed of a composite sheet obtained by laminating a gas-impervious liquid-impermeable plastic film 14 and a hydrophobic fibrous nonwoven fabric 15 that overlap each other. In the back sheet 3, the film 14 is located on the side of the core 4, and the nonwoven fabric 15 is located outside the film 14. The film 14 and the nonwoven fabric 15 have their facing surfaces intermittently fixed via an adhesive (not shown).
[0015]
The core 4 is located in the front region 5 and the rear region 6, and its upper and lower surfaces are intermittently fixed to the inner surfaces of the front and back sheets 2 and 3 via an adhesive (not shown). The core 4 is a mixture of fluff pulp and superabsorbent polymer particles, or a mixture of fluff pulp, superabsorbent polymer particles and thermoplastic synthetic resin fibers, and is compressed to a predetermined thickness. Therefore, the rigidity of the core 4 is greater than those of the topsheet 2 and the backsheet 3. The core 4 is preferably entirely covered with a liquid-permeable sheet such as tissue paper or a hydrophilic fiber nonwoven fabric in order to prevent the core 4 from becoming out of shape and the polymer particles from falling off.
[0016]
The peripheral wall 9 surrounds the entire periphery 7, 8 of the front and rear regions 5, 6. Most of the peripheral wall portion 9 is formed of the back sheet 3 extending inward in the circumferential direction from the peripheral edges 7, 8 of the front and rear regions 5, 6. In the peripheral wall portion 9, the topsheet 2 slightly extends outward from the peripheral edge 4 a of the core 4, and the backsheet 3 further extends outside from the topsheet 2. In a portion where the top sheet 2 and the back sheet 3 overlap each other, the inner surfaces of the sheets 2 and 3 are intermittently fixed via an adhesive (not shown).
[0017]
A plurality of stretchable elastic members 16 which are substantially annular in the circumferential direction are attached to the peripheral wall portion 9 so as to be contractable. The elastic members 16 are arranged at a predetermined distance from the outer side in the circumferential direction to the inner side in the circumferential direction of the peripheral wall portion 9, and are attached to the peripheral wall portion 9 in a state where the elastic members 16 are extended at a predetermined magnification. The elastic member 16 is interposed between the film 14 forming the back sheet 3 and the nonwoven fabric 15, and is fixed to their opposing surfaces via an adhesive (not shown). The peripheral wall portion 9 contracts in the circumferential direction and narrows inward in the circumferential direction above the peripheral portions 7 and 8 by the contracting force of the elastic member 16 so as to cover the upper surfaces of the peripheral portions 7 and 8 of the front and rear regions 5 and 6. I have. A pocket 17 that opens inward in the circumferential direction is formed between the peripheral edges 7 and 8 and the peripheral wall 9.
[0018]
In the front region 5, the thickness of the core 4 located there is larger than the thickness of the core 4 located in the rear region 6, and the height of the core 4 rising upward from the skin contact side is located in the rear region 6. It is larger than the protruding height of the core 4 from the skin contact side upward. In the pad 1A, a step is formed in the front region 5 and the rear region 6 in the thickness direction of the pad 1A. In order to make the raised height (thickness dimension) of the core 4 in the front region 5 larger than that of the core 4 in the rear region 6, the amount of pulp or synthetic resin fiber forming the core 4 is made smaller than that of the rear region 6. 5, the core 4 in the rear region 6 may be compressed in the thickness direction if the amount of pulp or synthetic resin fibers in the front and rear regions 5 and 6 is the same.
[0019]
In the rear region 6, the thickness of the core 4 located at the peripheral edge 8 is larger than the thickness of the core 4 located at the remaining portion 18 of the rear region 6 excluding the peripheral edge 8, and the core 4 located at the peripheral edge 8 is formed. Of the core 4 located in the remaining portion 18 is higher than the height of the core 4 located at the remaining portion 18 from the skin contact side. In the pad 1A, a step is formed at the peripheral portion 8 and the remaining portion 18 of the rear region 6 in the thickness direction of the pad 1A. In order to make the protruding height (thickness dimension) of the core 4 at the peripheral portion 8 of the rear region 6 larger than that of the core 4 at the remaining portion 18, the amount of the pulp or the synthetic resin fiber forming the core 4 should be reduced. If the amount of the pulp or the synthetic resin fiber is the same in the peripheral portion 8 and the residual portion 18 than in the peripheral portion 8, the core 4 of the residual portion 18 may be compressed in the thickness direction. The thickness of the core 4 located at the peripheral portion 8 of the rear region 6 is smaller than the thickness of the core 4 located at the front region 5, and the core 4 located at the peripheral portion 8 of the rear region 6 is in contact with the skin. The protruding height from the side to the upper side is smaller than the protruding height from the skin contact side of the core 4 located in the front region 5 to the upper side.
[0020]
Between the front region 5 and the rear region 6, a bent portion 19 extending in the horizontal direction for vertically folding the pad 1A into two so that the regions 5 and 6 overlap each other is formed. In the bent portion 19, the thickness dimension of the core 4 located there is smaller than the thickness dimension of the core 4 located in the front and rear regions 5 and 6, and the bending rigidity of the pad 1 </ b> A in the bent portion 19 in the front and rear regions 5 and 6. It is smaller than the bending rigidity of the pad 1A. In order to make the thickness dimension of the core 4 in the bent portion 19 smaller than that of the core 4 in the front and rear regions 5 and 6, the amount of pulp or synthetic resin fiber forming the core 4 is bent more than in the front and rear regions 5 and 6. The number may be reduced by the unit 19. In order to make the bending stiffness of the pad 1A in the bent portion 19 smaller than that of the pad 1A in the front and rear regions 5 and 6, the density of the pulp or the synthetic resin fiber forming the core 4 is set to be smaller than that in the front and rear regions 5 and 6. What is necessary is just to make it low in part 19.
[0021]
In the pad 1A, the bending rigidity in the front region 5 is smaller than the bending rigidity in the rear region 6. In order to make the bending stiffness in the front region 5 of the pad 1A smaller than the bending stiffness in the rear region 6, the density of the pulp or synthetic resin fiber forming the core 4 may be lower in the front region 5 than in the rear region 6. In the pad 1A, the bending rigidity of the front region 5 is in the range of 0.05 to 0.2 N / g, and the bending rigidity of the rear region 6 is in the range of 0.2 to 2.0 N / g.
[0022]
If the bending stiffness of the pad 1A in the front region 5 is less than 0.05 N / g, when the pad 1A is pulled outwardly in the vertical direction via the strips 10 and 11 (see FIG. 4), the front region 5 of the pad 1A is not pulled. In some cases, a large number of irregularly bent portions may be formed. In the bent portion, the outer surfaces of the topsheet 2 abut against each other, and it is difficult for the urine to seep into the core 4, so that the excrement absorbing function of the pad 1A in the front region 5 cannot be fully utilized. When the bending stiffness of the pad 1A in the front region 5 exceeds 0.2 N / g, the flexibility of the pad 1A decreases, and when the front region 5 is applied to the skin of the wearer, an unpleasant feel is given to the wearer. There are cases.
[0023]
When the bending stiffness of the pad 1A in the rear region 6 is less than 0.2 N / g, the pad 1A is easily bent in the rear region 6, and when the wearer wears the pad 1A (see FIG. 4), the rear region 6 is partially formed. It may be laid under the wearer's buttocks in a bent state. When the bending stiffness of the pad 1A in the rear region 6 exceeds 2.0 N / g, the rear region 6 is unlikely to deform along the shape of the wearer's buttocks, and the load on the buttocks is concentrated at one location in the rear region 6, In some cases, the load on the buttocks cannot be distributed over the entire rear region 6. In addition, those bending rigidities were measured by the following method.
(1) The bending stiffness was measured using a bending stiffness measuring instrument and a horizontal plate. In addition, the machine name DIGTAL FORCE GAUGE manufactured by NIDEC-SHIMPO corporation was used as a bending rigidity measuring device.
(2) First, a method of measuring the bending stiffness of the front region 5 will be described. The pad 1A is placed on the horizontal plate so that the back sheet 3 is in contact with the horizontal plate, and the pad 1A is placed on the horizontal plate with the front half of the front region 5 of the pad 1A exposed outside from the edge of the horizontal plate. Fixed to.
[0024]
The arm of the measuring device is brought into contact with the front half of the front region 5, and the measuring device is gradually lowered below the horizontal plate. When the measuring device is lowered below the horizontal plate, the front half of the front region 5 is pushed down below the horizontal plate by the arm of the measuring device, and the front half gradually bends below the horizontal plate. As the bending stiffness of the pad 1A in the front region 5, the numerical value indicated by the measuring instrument when the front half of the front region 5 bent below the horizontal plate makes an angle of 45 degrees with the horizontal plate was used.
(3) Next, a method for measuring the bending stiffness of the rear region 6 will be described. The pad 1A is placed on the horizontal plate so that the back sheet 3 is in contact with the horizontal plate, and the pad 1A is placed on the horizontal plate in a state where the rear half of the rear area 6 of the pad 1A is exposed outward from the edge of the horizontal plate. Fixed to.
[0025]
The arm of the measuring device is brought into contact with the rear half of the rear region 6, and the measuring device is gradually lowered below the horizontal plate. When the measuring instrument is lowered below the horizontal plate, the rear half of the rear region 6 is pushed down below the horizontal plate by the arm of the measuring instrument, and the rear half gradually bends below the horizontal plate. As the bending stiffness of the pad 1A in the rear region 6, the numerical value indicated by the measuring instrument when the rear half of the rear region 6 bent below the horizontal plate makes an angle of 45 degrees with the horizontal plate was used.
[0026]
The first and second strips 10 and 11 are arranged in the front region 5 and are arranged side by side with a given distance. The strips 10 and 11 are formed from a non-stretchable fibrous nonwoven fabric 20. The strips 10 and 11 include a first fixing portion 21 fixed to the peripheral wall portion 9 surrounding the peripheral portion 7 of the front region 5, a second fixing portion 22 fixed to the peripheral portion 7 of the front region 5, And a grip 23 extending vertically outward from the peripheral edge 7 of the front region 5. In the first and second fixing portions 21 and 22, the nonwoven fabric 20 forming the strips 10 and 11 is fixed to the film 14 and the nonwoven fabric 15 forming the back sheet 3 via an adhesive (not shown). The grip 23 substantially forms a loop between the first and second fixing portions 21 and 22.
[0027]
The fastening tape 12 is formed of a flexible plastic film, is attached to the peripheral portion 7 of the front region 5, and extends in the vertical direction. The tape 12 has a base end portion 24 fixed to the outer surface of the back sheet 3 at the peripheral portion 7 of the front region 5 and a free end portion 25 extending vertically outward from the peripheral portion 7 of the front region 5. The base end 24 is fixed to the outer surface of the back sheet 3 via an adhesive (not shown). The free end 25 is folded in a Z-shaped cross section, and is temporarily detachably attached to the outer surface of the base end 24 via an adhesive (not shown) applied to the inner surface. In the tape 12, as shown by a two-dot line in FIG. 2, when the free end 25 is gripped and pulled outward in the vertical direction, the developed free end 25 is vertically moved from the peripheral edge 7 of the front region 5. Extend outward in the direction.
[0028]
FIGS. 4 and 5 are a perspective view of the pad 1A shown in a worn state and a perspective view of the pad 1A folded for disposal. In FIG. 4, the wearer lying on his back is indicated by a two-dot chain line.
[0029]
As an example in which the pad 1A is worn, the caregiver lifts the buttocks of the wearer lying on his back, places the rear area 6 of the pad 1A under the buttocks, and then places the buttocks of the wearer on the rear area 6 To lower. Next, the front area 5 of the pad 1A is turned toward the wearer's abdomen. As shown in FIG. 4, the pad 1 </ b> A is bent at a bent portion 19 formed between the front and rear regions 5 and 6, the front region 5 abuts on the wearer's abdomen, and the rear region 6 is formed by the wearer. While contacting the buttocks, the vicinity of the bent portion 19 contacts the crotch of the wearer. In the pad 1A, urine excreted during the wearing thereof penetrates the topsheet 2 and is absorbed by the core 4 in the front region 5, and the water contained in the excreted stool penetrates the topsheet 2 and passes through the rear region 6 It is absorbed by the core 4.
[0030]
The pad 1A is worn by the wearer of the pad 1A by holding the grips 23 of the strips 10 and 11 with both hands, and pulling the strips 10 and 11 outward in the vertical direction indicated by the arrow M1 to form the front area of the pad 1A. 5 and the rear region 6 can be brought into close contact with the skin. The pad 1A can bring the front and rear regions 5, 6 into close contact with the skin by the wearer pulling the strips 10, 11, so that the pad 1A can reliably absorb excrement. The wearer can adjust the degree of adhesion of the pad 1A to the skin by adjusting the pulling force of the strips 10, 11.
[0031]
Unlike the prior art, the pad 1A does not require the pad 1A to be in close contact with the skin via pants. When the pad 1A is worn, it is not necessary to put it on the pants and wear it together with the pants. The pad 1A can be easily worn because the rear area 6 of the pad 1A is merely laid under the buttocks of the wearer. It is particularly suitable for treating excrement of bedridden wearers.
[0032]
The pad 1A is formed between the peripheral portions 7, 8 and the peripheral wall portion 9 even if urine or stool diffuses on the outer surface of the topsheet 2 and reaches the peripheral portions 7, 8 of the front and rear regions 5, 6. The urine and stool do not leak to the outside of the pad 1A because they are accommodated in the pocket 17 thus set. In the pad 1A, by pulling the strips 10 and 11 outward in the vertical direction, the peripheral wall 9 connected to the first fixing portion 21 is extended, and the peripheral wall 9 extending to the crotch portion of the wearer is connected to the regions 5 and 6. It stands up above. In the pad 1A, the upright peripheral wall portion 9 contacts the crotch portion of the wearer, so that lateral leakage of excrement in the crotch portion of the wearer can be reliably prevented.
[0033]
The pad 1 </ b> A has a protruding height (thickness dimension) upward from the skin contact side of the core 4 located in the front region 5 is larger than that from the skin contact side of the core 4 located in the rear region 6. Therefore, even if a large amount of urine is excreted in the front region 5, the urine can be absorbed in the front region 5, and the urine does not flow from the front region 5 to the rear region 6.
[0034]
The pad 1 </ b> A has a raised height (thickness dimension) upward from the skin contact side of the core 4 located at the peripheral portion 8 of the rear region 6, the skin contact side of the core 4 located at the remaining portion 18 of the rear region 6. When the rear region 6 is laid under the buttocks of the wearer, the peripheral portion 8 of the rear region 6 abuts on the buttocks of the wearer and the load of the wearer is reduced. Can be dispersed. Further, the cushioning property of the pad 1A at the peripheral portion 8 is high, and it is possible to prevent the floor of the bedridden wearer from rubbing on the buttocks.
[0035]
The pad 1 </ b> A has a planar shape that is a vertically long circle with a narrow space between the front and rear regions 5 and 6, and the lateral dimension between the front and rear regions 5 and 6 is smaller than that of the front and rear regions 5 and 6. Even if 11 is strongly pulled outward in the vertical direction, the rear region 6 is not caught by the wearer's crotch portion, and the pad 1A does not accidentally come off the wearing position.
[0036]
In order to discard the pad 1A contaminated with excrement, the pad 1A is removed from the wearer, and the pad 1A is vertically moved through the bent portion 19 with the top sheet 2 inside as shown in FIG. Fold it in two and overlap the front area 5 and the rear area 6. After the pad 1A is folded, the free end 25 of the fastening tape 12 is peeled off from the base end 24 and extended in the vertical direction, and the free end 25 is attached to the outer surface of the back sheet 3 of the rear area 6 via an adhesive. Stop. The pad 1 </ b> A can be easily folded via the bent portion 19, and can maintain the folded state via the tape 12. The pad 1A can be discarded in a folded state.
[0037]
6 and 7 are a perspective view of the excrement disposal pad 1B shown as another example and a sectional view taken along line VII-VII of FIG. 6, and FIG. 8 is a sectional view taken along line VIII-VIII of FIG. FIG. In FIG. 6, the vertical direction is indicated by an arrow L, the horizontal direction is indicated by an arrow M, and the thickness direction is indicated by an arrow N.
[0038]
The pad 1 </ b> B includes a liquid-permeable top sheet 2 and a liquid-impermeable back sheet 3, and a liquid-absorbent core 4 interposed between the sheets 2 and 3. The pad 1B includes a front region 5 and a rear region 6 arranged in the vertical direction, and peripheral portions 7, 8 extending in the circumferential direction of the regions 5, 6, and located above the peripheral portions 7, 8 of the regions 5, 6. And a peripheral wall portion 9 that is elastically expandable and contractable and extends in the circumferential direction. The peripheral edges 7 and 8 are formed by the front and back sheets 2 and 3 and the core 4.
[0039]
In the pad 1B, the peripheral portions 7, 8 of the front and rear regions 5, 6 are rectangular, and the planar shape thereof is substantially a vertically long rectangle. The pad 1B has first and second strips 10 and 11 that can be pulled in the vertical direction, and a fastening tape 12 for maintaining the folded state of the pad 1B (see FIG. 5). Installed.
[0040]
The topsheet 2 is formed from a hydrophilic fiber nonwoven fabric 13. The back sheet 3 is formed of a composite nonwoven fabric obtained by laminating two hydrophobic fibrous nonwoven fabrics 15 and 26 which are overlapped with each other. The nonwoven fabrics 15 and 26 have their facing surfaces intermittently fixed via an adhesive (not shown). The core 4 is the same as that of FIG. 1 and is located in the front region 5 and the rear region 6, and its upper and lower surfaces are intermittently connected to the inner surfaces of the front and back sheets 2 and 3 via an adhesive (not shown). Fixed.
[0041]
The peripheral wall 9 surrounds the entire periphery 7, 8 of the front and rear regions 5, 6. The peripheral wall portion 9 is formed by the top sheet 2 and the back sheet 3 extending inward in the circumferential direction from the peripheral portions 7, 8 of the front and rear regions 5, 6. In portions where the front and back sheets 2 and 3 overlap each other, the inner surfaces of the sheets 2 and 3 are intermittently fixed via an adhesive (not shown).
[0042]
A plurality of stretchable elastic members 16 which are substantially annular in the circumferential direction are attached to the peripheral wall portion 9 so as to be contractable. The elastic members 16 are arranged at a given distance from the outer side in the circumferential direction to the inner side in the circumferential direction of the peripheral wall portion 9, and are attached to the peripheral wall portion 9 in a state where the elastic members 16 are extended at a predetermined magnification. The elastic member 16 is interposed between the nonwoven fabrics 15 and 26 forming the back sheet 3, and is fixed to the opposing surfaces of the nonwoven fabrics 15 and 26 via an adhesive (not shown). I have. A pocket 17 that opens inward in the circumferential direction is formed between the peripheral edge portion 9 and the peripheral wall portions 7 and 8.
[0043]
In the front region 5, the thickness of the core 4 located there is larger than that of the core 4 located in the rear region 6, and the height of the core 4 rising upward from the skin contact side is located in the rear region 6. It is larger than that from the skin contact side of the core 4 upward. In the rear region 6, the thickness dimension of the core 4 located at the peripheral portion 8 is larger than that of the core 4 located at the remaining portion 18 of the rear region 6 excluding the peripheral portion 8, and the core 4 located at the peripheral portion 8 has The height of the protrusion upward from the skin contact side is larger than that of the core 4 located at the remaining portion 18 from the skin contact side.
[0044]
The thickness of the core 4 located at the peripheral edge 8 of the rear area 6 is smaller than that of the core 4 located at the front area 5, and the skin contact side of the core 4 located at the peripheral edge 8 of the rear area 6. The height of the bulge upward from the upper side is smaller than that from the skin contact side of the core 4 located in the front region 5. In order to provide a difference in the raised height (thickness dimension) of the core 4, the amount of pulp or synthetic resin fiber forming the core 4 may be increased or decreased as in the pad 1A of FIG. If the amounts of the pulp and the synthetic resin fiber are the same, the core 4 may be compressed in the thickness direction in order to reduce the protruding height of the core 4.
[0045]
Between the front region 5 and the rear region 6, a bent portion 19 extending in the horizontal direction for folding the pad 1B into two in the vertical direction is formed. The bent portion 19 is formed from the top sheet 2 excluding the core 4 and the back sheet 3. In the pad 1B, the bending rigidity in the front region 5 is smaller than the bending rigidity in the rear region 6. In order to make the bending stiffness in the front region 5 of the pad 1B smaller than that in the rear region 6, the density of the pulp or synthetic resin fiber forming the core 4 is set to be lower than that of the rear region 6 similarly to the pad 1A of FIG. What is necessary is just to make it low in area | region 5. The value of the bending stiffness in the front region 5 and the value of the bending stiffness in the rear region 6 of the pad 1B are the same as those of the pad 1A of FIG. The method of measuring the bending stiffness is the same as that of FIG.
[0046]
The first and second strips 10 and 11 are arranged on the peripheral edge 7 of the front region 5 and are arranged side by side by a given distance in the lateral direction. The strips 10 and 11 are formed of a non-stretchable fiber nonwoven fabric 20 and are fixed to the peripheral wall 9 surrounding the peripheral edge 7 of the front region 5 and the peripheral portion 7 of the front region 5. And a grip portion 23 extending outward from the peripheral portion 7 of the front region 5 in the vertical direction. In the first and second fixing portions 21 and 22, the nonwoven fabric 20 forming the strips 10 and 11 is fixed to the nonwoven fabrics 15 and 26 forming the back sheet 3 via an adhesive (not shown). The part 23 substantially forms a loop between the first and second fixing parts 21 and 22.
[0047]
The fastening tape 12 is attached to the peripheral portion 8 of the rear region 6 and extends in the vertical direction. The tape 12 has a proximal end 24 fixed to the peripheral edge 8 of the rear region 6 and a free end 25 extending vertically outward from the peripheral edge 8 of the rear region 6. The wearing procedure of the pad 1B is the same as that of the pad 1A of FIG.
[0048]
The pad 1B does not need to adhere it to the skin via the pants, and the wearer pulls the strips 10 and 11 vertically outward to adhere the front and rear regions 5 and 6 of the pad 1B to the skin. The excrement can be reliably absorbed by the pad 1B. It is not necessary to put the pad 1B on the pants and wear it together with the pants, and the pad 1B can be easily worn because the rear region 6 of the pad 1B is merely laid under the buttocks of the wearer.
[0049]
The pad 1B is formed between the peripheral portions 7, 8 and the peripheral wall portion 9 even if urine and stool diffuse to the outer surface of the topsheet 2 and reach the peripheral portions 7, 8 of the front and rear regions 5, 6. The urine and stool do not leak to the outside of the pad 1B because they are accommodated in the pocket 17 that has been made. The pad 1B pulls the strips 10, 11 outward in the vertical direction, so that the peripheral wall portion 9 extending to the crotch portion of the wearer stands up above the regions 5, 6. In the pad 1B, the upright peripheral wall portion 9 contacts the crotch portion of the wearer, so that lateral leakage of excrement in the crotch portion of the wearer can be reliably prevented.
[0050]
The pad 1B has a raised height (thickness dimension) upward from the skin contact side of the core 4 located in the front region 5 is greater than that of the core 4 located in the rear region 6 upward from the skin contact side. Therefore, a large amount of excreted urine can be absorbed in the front region 5, and the urine does not flow from the front region 5 to the rear region 6.
[0051]
The pad 1 </ b> B has a raised height (thickness dimension) upward from the skin contact side of the core 4 located at the peripheral edge portion 8 of the rear region 6, the skin contact side of the core 4 located at the remaining portion 18 of the rear region 6. Is larger than that from above, so that when the rear region 6 is laid under the buttocks of the wearer, the peripheral portion 8 abuts on the buttocks of the wearer and disperses the load of the wearer at the peripheral portion 8. As a matter of course, the pad 1B at the peripheral portion 8 has a high cushioning property and can prevent the wearer's buttocks from rubbing the floor.
[0052]
In order to discard the pad 1B contaminated with excrement, the pad 1B is vertically folded in two via the bent portion 19 with the topsheet 2 inside, and the front region 5 and the rear region 6 are overlapped. Match. After folding the pad 1B, the free end 25 of the fastening tape 12 is peeled off from the base end 24 and stretched in the vertical direction, and the free end 25 is attached to the outer surface of the back sheet 3 of the front region 5 via an adhesive. Stop. The pad 1 </ b> B can be easily folded via the bent portion 19, and can maintain the folded state via the tape 12.
[0053]
In addition to the hydrophilic fiber nonwoven fabric 13, any one of a hydrophobic fiber nonwoven fabric having many openings and a plastic film having many fine openings can be used for the topsheet 2. For the back sheet 3, in addition to the composite sheet and the composite nonwoven fabric, any of a hydrophobic fiber nonwoven fabric and a gas-impermeable liquid-impermeable plastic film can be used. Further, as the back sheet 3, a stretchable fiber nonwoven fabric or a stretchable plastic sheet can be used. When an elastic nonwoven fabric or a plastic sheet is used for the back sheet 3, the sheet 3 is fixed to the top sheet 2 or the core 4 in a state where the back sheet 3 is extended outward in the circumferential direction. For the strips 10 and 11, in addition to the non-stretchable fiber nonwoven fabric 20, a stretchable fiber nonwoven fabric, a non-stretchable plastic sheet, and a stretchable plastic sheet can also be used.
[0054]
As the non-woven fabric, those manufactured by a spun lace, needle punch, melt blown, thermal bond, spun bond, chemical bond, air through methods can be used. Polyolefin-based, polyester-based, and polyamide-based fibers, core-sheath type composite fibers made of polyethylene / polypropylene or polyethylene / polyester, or side-by-side type composite fibers can be used as the constituent fibers of the nonwoven fabric.
[0055]
Although not shown, the pads 1A and 1B are moved from the front region 5 to the rear region 6 or from the rear region 6 to the front region 5 when the pads 1A and 1B contaminated with excrement are discarded. The strips 10 and 11 can also be wound around the outer surface of the back sheet 3 of the rounded pads 1A and 1B. The pads 1A and 1B are maintained in the rolled state by the strips 10 and 11, so that the pads 1A and 1B can be discarded in the rolled state.
[0056]
The pads 1A and 1B allow the front region 5 to absorb a large amount of urine, so that the amount of polymer particles contained in the core 4 is larger in the front region 5 than in the rear region 6, and the amount of excretion absorbed in the front region 5 is increased. It is preferable to make it larger than that of the rear region 6.
[0057]
The pads 1A and 1B have the same thickness dimension of the core 4 located in the front area 5 as the thickness dimension of the core 4 located in the rear area 6, and are located above the skin contact side of the core 4 located in the front area 5. May be the same as the height of the core 4 located in the rear region 6 from the skin contact side to the top. In the pads 1A and 1B, the bent portion 19 may not be formed between the front and rear regions 5 and 6, and the fastening tape 12 may not be attached to the rear region 6. In addition to the elastic elastic member 16, a band-shaped elastic fiber nonwoven fabric that substantially forms a ring in the circumferential direction of the peripheral wall 9 can be attached to the peripheral wall 9 of the pads 1 </ b> A and 1 </ b> B in a contractible manner.
[0058]
For fixing the sheets 2 and 3 together, fixing the core 4 to the sheets 2 and 3, fixing the elastic member 16 to the sheets 2 and 3, and fixing the strips 10 and 11 to the sheets 2 and 3, in addition to the adhesive, It is also possible to use heat welding means such as heat sealing or sonic sealing. As the adhesive, a hot-melt adhesive, an acrylic adhesive, or a rubber adhesive can be used.
[0059]
