【0001】

離散フーリエ変換は、FFT(Fast Fourier Transform)により高速に計算することができる。
【0022】
ここで、B(j)は、j(j=1,2,…,200)回目の測定における行列Bを表す。

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method for authenticating an individual living body using a biological signal.
[0002]
[Background Art]
As a personal authentication method using biometric information, there is a method using a human fingerprint or voiceprint. However, there is a problem that such biometric information is relatively easy to forge.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances. It is an object of the present invention to provide an authentication method that is robust against forgery.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The authentication method of the present invention includes the following steps.
(1) generating a basis indicating the characteristic of the biological signal from the biological signal acquired from the subject; and (2) previously acquiring a basis indicating the basis and the characteristic of the biological signal in the target candidate. Performing authentication based on the distance to the server.
[0005]
The biological signal is, for example, an electroencephalogram, a pulse wave, a myoelectric potential, or a cardiac potential.
[0006]
The basis is, for example, a frequency component. This frequency component can be obtained by, for example, Fourier transform of a biological signal.
[0007]
Further, the basis may be a time domain component. This time domain component can be acquired by, for example, correlation dimension analysis of a biological signal.
[0008]
The distance between the base based on the biological signal of the target person and the base based on the biological signal of the target candidate is, for example, a dissimilarity that satisfies the distance axiom.
[0009]
In the authentication method, if the basis based on the biosignals of the subject is approximately the same distance as the basis based on the biosignals of the plurality of candidate candidates, authentication may be disabled.
[0010]
The authentication method according to the present invention may have a configuration including the following steps.
(1) generating a basis indicating characteristics of the biosignal from the biosignal acquired from the target candidate, and storing the basis in a database;
(2) generating a basis indicating characteristics of the biological signal from the biological signal acquired from the subject; and (3) performing authentication based on a distance between the basis of the subject and the basis of the target candidate. Step to do.
[0011]
A computer program according to the present invention is for executing the steps of the method described above on a computer.
[0012]
The recording medium of the present invention records the computer program and is readable by a computer.
[0013]
The authentication device of the present invention includes a data acquisition unit, a feature extraction unit, a database, and a determination unit. The database stores bases based on biosignals obtained from candidates to be authenticated. The data acquisition unit acquires a biological signal from a subject. The feature extraction unit generates a base based on the biological signal acquired by the data acquisition unit. The determination unit performs authentication based on a short distance between the base generated by the feature extraction unit and the base stored in the database.
[0014]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
An authentication method according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. First, an outline of an authentication device used for this authentication method will be described with reference to FIG. In this embodiment, the apparatus will be described as being used for both creation of an authentication database and authentication based on the database. However, the devices used for database creation and authentication may be different.

[0028]
Next, the shortest distance is selected from the pattern matrices B ' ave in the database. Thereby, the target candidate whose data has been registered in the database in advance is specified. Therefore, it can be authenticated that the target person to be authenticated is a person registered in advance. As a more specific authentication procedure, for example, the target person is requested to input an ID of each target candidate registered in advance. If the ID of the target candidate specified by the above method matches the input ID, it can be determined that both are the same person. Of course, authentication may be performed in combination with another authentication method using a fingerprint or the like. The judgment result is output by an appropriate method (step 3-4). For example, an authentication result is displayed on a display.
[0029]
According to the method of the present embodiment, since authentication is performed using brain waves that are difficult to forge, an authentication method that is robust against forgery can be provided.
[0030]
[Experimental example]
The following experiments were performed to verify the authentication accuracy. The number of subjects was set to 10. For each subject, 400 matrices B having frequency components as elements were generated by the method of the above-described embodiment.
[0031]
Of these matrices B, a pattern matrix B ave to be stored in the database was generated from 200 data. A pattern matrix B ′ ave for verification was generated from the remaining 200 data. Other conditions were the same as in the above-described embodiment. The generated frequency data is shown in FIGS.
[0032]
According to the method of the present embodiment, it selects the closest pattern matrix B ave a pattern matrix B 'ave at a given subject. Then, whether or not the subject matches the subject in the selected pattern matrix B ave was examined for each subject. As a result, correct personal recognition was performed for 74% of the subjects.
[0033]
Further, when there are a plurality of target candidates near the minimum distance (for example, within a range of 20% from the minimum distance), it is determined that recognition is not possible, so that a high recognition rate of 90.5% could be obtained.
[0034]
Execution of each of the above-described embodiments can be easily performed by those skilled in the art using a computer. A program for that can be stored in a computer-readable recording medium such as an HD, an FD, a CD, and an MO.
[0035]
The description of each of the above embodiments is merely an example, and does not show a configuration essential to the present invention. The configuration of each part is not limited to the above as long as the purpose of the present invention can be achieved.
[0036]
For example, in the above embodiment, the frequency component is extracted as the basis by the discrete Fourier transform. However, the time function (time domain component) as the orthogonal basis in the wavelet transform may be extracted as the basis. The authentication method when the time domain component is used as the basis may be the same as described above. The time domain component as a basis that can be used for authentication includes, for example, Lyapunov exponent, Lyapunov dimension, recurrent plot, KS entropy, orbit parallel measure, or Hausdorff dimension (any one of correlation dimension, fractal dimension and capacity dimension) ) Can be used. The correlation dimension analysis is a concept included in the chaos analysis. Furthermore, for example, it is also possible to authenticate by the method of the above-described embodiment using a basis in an orthogonal transformation method such as a discrete cosine transformation, a discrete sine transformation, a Hartley transformation, a Slant transformation, a Walsh-Hadamard transformation, a Haar transformation, and an M transformation. It is possible. In the above-described embodiment, an analysis method such as a discrete Fourier transform based on discrete data has been exemplified. However, a basis may be generated using an analysis method such as a Fourier transform using continuous data.
[0037]
In the above embodiment, the brain wave is used as the biological signal. However, the present invention is not limited to this. For example, a pulse wave, a myoelectric potential, or a cardiac potential may be used. The pulse wave can be detected as a change in blood flow, for example, by detecting light transmitted through the body. Further, the myoelectric potential and the cardiac potential can be detected by a normal detection method using electrodes. Therefore, when a pulse wave, a myoelectric potential or a cardiac potential is used as a biological signal, there is an advantage that the authentication device and the authentication procedure can be simplified. Furthermore, even if a biological signal other than an electroencephalogram is used for authentication, forgery of the biological signal is relatively difficult, so that an authentication method that is robust against forgery can be provided.
Further, as specific means of each unit (including functional blocks) for realizing each embodiment, hardware, software, a network, a combination thereof, or any other means may be used. It is obvious to those skilled in the art. Further, the functional blocks may be combined into one functional block. Further, the function of one functional block may be realized by cooperation of a plurality of functional blocks.
[0038]
