一般に、図6に示すように、シャンプーやリンス等の液剤の容器として、ボトル1の口部にねじ込まれるキャップ2にポンプ3を取り付け、ピストン4の頭部5を押すと、ピストン4が下降してノズル6から液剤が吐出され、頭部5から手を離すと、ピストン4が上昇して元の位置に復帰するポンプ式液剤ディスペンサーが使用されている。

しかしながら、上記のようなディスペンサーでは、液剤の吐出量が調整できないため、必要量以上の液剤が吐出されて、無駄が生じることがあった。

そこで、この発明は、液剤の吐出量を調整できるようにして、液剤を無駄なく使用できるようにすることを課題とする。

上記課題を解決するため、この発明は、液剤を入れるボトルの口部にポンプを取り付け、そのピストンの往復動に伴い液剤を吐出するポンプ式液剤ディスペンサーにおいて、前記ボトルの口部の外周に、直接又は間接に調整リングを螺合させ、この調整リングの回転に伴い、前記ピストンのストロークを変化させて、液剤の吐出量を調整できるようにしたのである。

なお、前記ボトルの口部と調整リングとの間に中間リングを介在させ、この中間リングに調整リングを螺合させると、既存のディスペンサーでも、これらの部材を付加することにより、液剤の吐出量を調整できるようになる。

以下、この発明の実施の形態を添付図面に基づいて説明する。

図1乃至図3に示す第1実施形態は、図6に示した既存のディスペンサーに中間リング7及び調整リング8を付加して、液剤の吐出量を調整できるようにしたものである。

この中間リング7の外周には、2箇所の対称部分に短いねじ突条9が、調整リング8の内周には、周方向に長いねじ溝10がそれぞれ粗いピッチで形成され、中間リング7の外周に調整リング8が螺合するようになっている。調整リング8は上壁11を有し、その中心部にはピストン4の挿通穴12が形成されている。

上記中間リング7及び調整リング8をディスペンサーに装着するには、ポンプ3の頭部5を一旦外して、ピストン4をこれらの内側に差し入れ、調整リング8の挿通穴12にピストン4を挿通し、ボトル1の口部にねじ込まれたキャップ2の外側に中間リング7を嵌める。この状態において、中間リング7は、キャップ2に対して回らないようになっている。

また、ディスペンサーを新規に製造する場合には、図5に示す第3実施形態のように、ボトル1のキャップ2にねじ突条9を形成すると、キャップ2に調整リング8を直接螺合させることができるので、上記第1及び第2実施形態のような中間リング7が不要となり、安価に供給できる。

以上のように、この発明に係るポンプ式液剤ディスペンサーでは、ボトルの口部の外周に直接又は間接に螺合した調整リングの回転に伴い、ピストンのストロークを変化させて、液剤の吐出量を調整できるようにしたので、液剤の過剰な吐出を抑制して、液剤を無駄なく使用することができる。
