Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a mail management method, a program, and a device for managing electronic mail transmitted through the Internet, and more particularly to a mail management method, a program, and a device for suppressing a large amount of unsolicited junk mail.
[0002]
[Prior art]
E-mails used on the Internet or mobile phones can easily send the same content to a large number of destinations. For this reason, users and Internet providers have suffered a great deal of inconvenience due to the large amount of e-mail transmissions that attempted to advertise or disrupt the Internet system.
[0003]
Conventional spam rejection methods include a method of determining a keyword that suppresses distribution by judging that it is spam that violates public order and morals when the mail contains a specific keyword, or by registering the spam in advance by the recipient. A method of determining and suppressing the distribution is known.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, conventional methods for repelling unsolicited e-mails by keyword judgment and pre-registration are all problems because they become an itachigogo between an unsolicited application and a new type of unsolicited e-mail that tries to avoid this, and are not effective deterrent measures. .
[0006]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a mail management method, a program, and a device, which impose a charging burden on mass transmission of spam mails, thereby eliminating the intention to send spam mails to a sender.

[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention provides a mail management method. This email management method,
A candidate determining unit that analyzes the received mail and determines mail having the same content and a predetermined number of mails or more as a spam mail candidate;
A distribution processing unit for confirming the identity of the sender of the spam mail candidate and the conditional charging for spam mail, and distributing the spam mail candidate only when consent is obtained,
A confirmation processing unit that confirms with the recipient about the distribution of the spam mail candidate, and when it is confirmed that the mail is spam, a confirmation step of validating the billing for the sender;
It is characterized by having.
[0008]
Therefore, according to the present invention, an e-mail having a large number of destinations from the same sender is determined to be a junk e-mail candidate, and the e-mail is distributed with the confirmation of the identity of the sender and the consent of the conditional charging for charging when the junk e-mail is junk. However, if it is confirmed by the recipient's judgment that the mail is unsolicited mail, a large amount of unsolicited mail is charged.
[0009]
With this mechanism, mass senders of spam receive financial risks, and they discourage senders from sending e-mails with the same content to large numbers of destinations, which has been easy to do so far. Can be suppressed.
[0010]
Also, even if a large amount of unsolicited e-mails are sent due to spoofing of the sender, the identity of the sender is confirmed based on the determination result of the unsolicited e-mail, but the unsolicited e-mail candidate is not delivered because the identity cannot be confirmed, Spam mails due to spoofing can be eliminated.
[0011]
Here, in the candidate determination step, the received mail is accumulated for a certain period of time, the newly received mail is compared with the stored mail, and if the match is at least a certain ratio, it is determined that the mail has the same content. This makes it possible to reliably determine a large amount of unsolicited spam mail having the same content as that of the sender only with a different destination without determining a keyword or the like.
[0012]
In the candidate determination step, the received mail is compressed and stored for a certain period of time, and the newly received mail is compressed and compared with the stored compressed mail. By compressing and comparing the received e-mails as described above, the storage capacity can be reduced, and it is possible to appropriately cope with a case where a large amount of unsolicited e-mails is received in a short time.
[0013]
In the candidate determination step, the received mail is irreversibly compressed so that it cannot be restored. Due to this irreversible compression, the stored mail cannot be restored and is used only for comparing and judging the unsolicited mail, thereby preventing access by a third party and ensuring the confidentiality of the mail contents.
[0014]
In the candidate determination step, the newly received mail is compared with a pre-registered mail in which the valid mail is registered in advance, and when the mail matches at a certain ratio or more, the mail is determined as a valid mail. By such pre-registration of valid mails, a large number of destination mails of the same sender, which are not spam mails, are determined to be spam mails, and the mechanism of the present invention avoids the problem of being delivered as a spam mail candidate with conditional charging.
[0015]
In the confirmation step, when the recipient identifies the mail as junk mail, the mail is stored as junk mail, and in response to this, the candidate judgment step compares the newly received mail with the stored junk mail stored in advance. If they match at a certain rate or higher, it is determined to be a junk mail candidate. For this reason, if a user identifies a spam candidate as spam, the spam mail is accumulated, and after that, it is determined as a spam candidate even if it is not a mass destination mail by the same sender, and the identity is confirmed. In addition, distribution by conditional charging is performed, and unsolicited e-mail can be reliably suppressed.
[0016]
In the delivery step, if the charging mode is pre-charging, the sender is charged and then the spam candidate mail is delivered, and if not, the charging is returned to the sender. In the confirmation step, when the billing mode is post-accounting, the sender is charged when the receiver confirms the unsolicited e-mail.
[0017]
The present invention provides a mail management program. This program runs on a computer that builds a mail server,
A candidate judging step of analyzing mails received within a fixed time and determining mails having the same content and a predetermined number of mails or more as spam mail candidates;
A delivery step of confirming the billing with the sender of the spam candidate, distributing the spam candidate if consent is obtained, and discarding the spam candidate if consent is not obtained;
A confirmation step of confirming with the recipient that the spam candidate has been delivered, enabling billing for the sender if the spam is confirmed, and canceling the billing of the sender if the spam is not confirmed;
Is executed.
[0018]
The present invention provides a mail server device. The mail server device analyzes mails received within a certain period of time, and determines mails having the same content and a predetermined number of mails or more as spam mail candidates. A candidate judging unit, a delivery processing unit that confirms billing to the sender of the spam mail candidate, distributes the spam mail candidate when consent is obtained, and discards the spam mail candidate when consent is not obtained, A confirmation processing unit for confirming to the recipient with respect to the distribution of the spam mail candidate, enabling billing for the sender if it is confirmed as spam, and canceling the billing of the sender if it is confirmed that it is not spam; It is characterized by having.
[0019]
The details of the program and the mail server device of the present invention are basically the same as those of the mail management method.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, a mail having a large number of destination mails from the same sender is determined to be a spam mail candidate, the identity of the sender is confirmed, and a conditional charging is performed when the mail is spam. Is distributed with the consent of the recipient, and if it is confirmed by the recipient that the message is spam, the spam is charged. For this reason, senders who try to send large amounts of spam will be at a financial risk. And reduce the enormous damage to users and Internet providers.
[0073]
In addition, since e-mails received over a certain period of time are accumulated and compared with newly received e-mails, spam e-mail candidates are determined. Judgment as a junk mail candidate by comparing with the contents of the e-mail that is sent, and by performing conditional charging, puts a large financial burden on large numbers of junk e-mail senders and discourages them from sending junk e-mail be able to.
[0074]
Furthermore, by incorporating the mail management process of the present invention into the mail server of the provider, it is possible to efficiently reduce the distribution of unsolicited mail to users who have contracted with the provider, thereby providing the mechanism of the present invention. It is possible to differentiate from a provider using a mail server that does not have a mail server, and increase users' support for a provider having a mail server that employs the mechanism of the present invention.
