Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TV and a VTR and a set of the TV and the VTR which can watch the TV by using a tuner built in an external apparatus other than the TV in the case of reserving video recording by using a digital tuner having an EPG video recording reservation function. <P>SOLUTION: The set comprising the TV and the VTR has the TV including: the digital tuner 11; an external output terminal 12; an external input terminal 13; a monitor 14; a TV selector 15 for branching a video/audio signal; and a TV control section CONT for controlling the digital tuner 11, the TV selector 15, and the monitor 14, and has the VTR including: an analog tuner 21; a tape deck unit 22; an external output terminal 23; an external input terminal 24; and a VTR selector 25 for interconnecting the analog tuner 21, the tape deck unit 22; the external output terminal 23; and the external input terminal 24. 【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、ＴＶに内蔵されたデジタルチューナにてＥＰＧ予約録画時にＶＴＲに内蔵されたチューナを用いて放送を見ることができるＴＶ、ＶＴＲ及びＴＶとＶＴＲのセットに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
近年、通信衛星を用いたＣＳ放送においてデジタル放送が開始され、放送衛星を用いたＢＳ放送においてもデジタル放送が始まっている。また、地上波放送においてもデジタル放送が予定されており、デジタル放送はますます普及するものと推測される。

デジタル放送の機能の一つとしてＥＰＧ（ＥｌｅｃｔｒｏｎｉｃＰｒｏｇｒａｍＧｕｉｄｅ）による録画予約がある。この録画予約を利用すると、深夜番組や留守中の番組を簡単に録画することができ便利である。また、ＥＰＧ録画予約にてＶＴＲ録画予約を行った場合、スポーツ延長等で予約番組の時間が変更されても、対応することができるので非常に便利である。

図４に従来のデジタルＴＶとＶＴＲのセットの概略ブロック図を示す。
図４に示すデジタルＴＶ８は、外部にアンテナ８８を有しており、アンテナ８８からのデジタル放送信号を受信し復調するデジタルチューナ８１と、復調されたデジタル放送信号を映像として出力するためのモニタ８４と、復調したデジタル放送信号を外部に出力するための外部出力端子８２と、外部機器からの映像・音声信号を入力するための外部入力端子８３と、デジタルチューナ８１と、モニタ８４等を制御するＴＶ制御部８６と、ＥＰＧの操作、デジタルチューナ８１のチャンネルを変える等の指示を出すリモートコントローラ８７を有している。

また図４に示すＶＴＲ９は、外部にアンテナ９８を有しており、アンテナ９８からのアナログ放送信号を受信し復調するアナログチューナ９１と、映像・音声をテープに録画するテープデッキ部９２と、外部からの映像・音声信号を入力するための外部入力端子９４と、アナログチューナ９１又はテープデッキ部９２からの映像・音声信号を外部機器に出力する外部出力端子９３と、テープデッキ部９２の動作やアナログチューナ９１等を制御するＶＴＲ制御部９６と、を有している。

図４に示すようにＴＶ８の外部出力端子８２とＶＴＲ９の外部入力端子９４とをケーブルで接続する。また、ＶＴＲ９の外部出力端子９３とＴＶの外部入力端子８３とをケーブルで接続する。詳細省略するが、各端子は映像・音声を伝える端子を備えている。

また、ＴＶ８にはＴＶセレクタ８５が設けられており、デジタルチューナ８１は外部出力端子８２に接続されている。ＴＶセレクタ８５はモニタ８４と外部出力端子８２と外部入力端子８３とに選択的に接続できるようになっている。さらに、ＶＴＲ９にはＶＴＲセレクタ９５が設けられており、アナログチューナ９１、テープデッキ部９２、外部入力端子９４及び外部出力端子９３をそれぞれ接続する形式をとっている。また、ＶＴＲ制御部９６に指示を出すためのリモートコントローラ９７を備えている。

ＴＶ８のＴＶセレクタ８５はデジタルチューナ側及びデジタルチューナ８１に直接接続されている外部出力端子側の端子８５１と、外部入力端子側の端子８５２と、モニタ側の端子８５０を備えている。ＶＴＲ９のＶＴＲセレクタ９５は外部入力端子側の端子９５４と、テープデッキ部側の端子９５２と、アナログチューナ側の端子９５１及び外部出力端子側の端子９５３と、を有している。

（１）ＴＶ８のデジタルチューナ８１を用いてＶＴＲ９にて録画する場合の接続を説明する。デジタルチューナ８１にて復調されたデジタル信号をモニタ８４に送る場合及び（又は）ＶＴＲ９に送る場合は、ＴＶセレクタ８５のスイッチを切り替えて外部出力端子側端子８５１とモニタ側端子８５０とを接続する。ＶＴＲ９のＶＴＲセレクタ９５は外部入力端子側の端子９５４とテープデッキ部側端子９５２とを接続する。つまり、デジタルチューナ８１からのデジタル放送信号はテープデッキ部９２に送られる。このとき、モニタ８４の電源を入れると、ＶＴＲ９にて録画中のデジタルチューナ８１からの映像・音声信号を再生することができる。このとき音声信号は図示を省略したスピーカにて再生される。デジタルチューナ８１にて復調されたデジタル放送信号をモニタ８４再生する場合も、ＴＶセレクタ８５の同じ端子を接続する。

（２）ＶＴＲ９のアナログチューナ９１からのアナログ放送信号をモニタ８４で再生する場合、ＶＴＲ９のＶＴＲセレクタ９５の外部出力端子側の端子９５３とアナログチューナ側の端子９５１とを接続する。ＴＶ８のＴＶセレクタ８５の外部入力側の端子８５２とモニタ８４側の端子８５０を接続する。それによってアナログチューナ９１にて復調されたアナログ放送信号を外部出力端子９３に送り、ＴＶ９の外部入力端子８３からＴＶに送られたのち、モニタ８４に送る。

（３）ＶＴＲ９のテープデッキ部９２にてテープを再生して再生信号をモニタで映出する場合、ＶＴＲ９のＶＴＲセレクタ９５のテープデッキ部側の端子９５２と外部出力端子側の端子９５３を接続し、ＴＶセレクタ８５の外部入力端子側の端子８５２とモニタ側の端子８５０を接続する。これによって、テープデッキ部９２から出力された再生信号はＶＴＲ９の外部出力端子９３に送られ、ＴＶ８の外部入力端子８３に送られ、ＴＶセレクタ８５の外部入力端子側の端子８５２からモニタ側の端子８５０を介してモニタ８４に送られて、モニタ８４にて映像が再生出力される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、ＥＰＧにて録画予約をしてＴＶ８のデジタルチューナ８１にて復調されるデジタル放送信号をＶＴＲ９にて録画しているときにＴＶ８を見る場合、モニタ８４にて再生される映像は、現在ＶＴＲ９にて録画されている番組の映像、すなわち、ＥＰＧにて録画予約されている映像となる。

一般的にＥＰＧにて録画予約をして放送を録画する場合、外出や深夜等なんらかの理由でＴＶを鑑賞することができない場合であり、予定が変更になったりして、録画予約している番組の先頭から鑑賞できる場合はいいが、途中からの場合、話の筋が理解できない等、視聴者にとってマイナスになる。従って、むしろ録画予約している番組以外の番組を見たいという欲求が生じる。ところが上述のように従来のデジタルＴＶ装置では、あくまでも録画予約した番組しか見られない。

そこで本発明は、ＥＰＧ録画予約機能を有するデジタルチューナを用いて録画予約する場合に、当該デジタルＴＶ以外の外部機器に内蔵されたチューナを用いてＴＶを見ることができるＴＶを提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
また上記目的を達成するために請求項１の発明は、デジタル放送信号及びＥＰＧを受信し復調するデジタルチューナと、受信・復調されたデジタル放送信号を外部映像機器に出力するための外部出力端子と、前記外部映像機器からの映像・音声信号を入力するための外部入力端子と、前記デジタルチューナにて受信・復調されたデジタル放送信号又は前記外部機器からの映像・音声信号を再生するためのモニタと、前記デジタルチューナと前記外部出力端子とは直接接続されており、該デジタルチューナと該外部出力端子と又は前記外部入力端子と、前記モニタとを接続するＴＶセレクタと、前記デジタルチューナと、前記ＴＶセレクタと前記モニタとを制御する制御部と、前記制御部に対して制御指示を出すリモートコントローラと、前記外部映像機器に対して制御信号を送信する送信部と、を有するＴＶと、アナログ放送信号を受信し復調するアナログチューナと、前記映像・音声信号をテープに録画するためのテープデッキ部と、前記映像・音声信号を外部映像機器に出力するための外部出力端子と、前記映像・音声信号を外部映像機器から入力するための外部入力端子と、前記アナログチューナと、前記テープデッキ部と、前記外部出力端子と、前記外部入力端子とを接続するＶＴＲセレクタと、前記アナログチューナと、前記テープデッキ部と、前記ＶＴＲセレクタとを制御する制御部と、前記制御部に動作指示を出すためのリモートコントローラと、ＴＶ送信部からの制御信号を受信するための受信部と、を有するＶＴＲにおいて、ＴＶの外部出力端子とＶＴＲの外部入力端子と、及び、ＴＶの外部入力端子とＶＴＲの外部出力端子とがそれぞれ接続され、さらにＴＶの送信部とＶＴＲの受信部が信号をやり取りできる状態に配置されており、前記制御部は前記ＥＰＧを用いての予約録画が始まるとＶＴＲに録画する旨の信号を送るとともに、前記ＴＶセレクタに指示を送り該ＴＶセレクタを前記モニタと前記外部入力端子を接続するように動作させ、前記外部入力端子より入力された映像・音声信号をテープデッキで録画しているときには、アナログチューナにて受信・復調されたアナログ放送信号を外部出力端子を介して外部映像機器におくり、前記テープデッキ部で前記外部入力端子からの映像・音声信号を録画中であっても前記アナログチューナのチャンネルを変えることができることを特徴とするデジタルＴＶとＶＴＲのセットを提供する。

上記目的を達成するために請求項２の発明は、デジタル放送信号を受信するデジタル放送受信ＴＶにおいて、前記デジタル放送信号及びＥＰＧを受信し復調するデジタルチューナと、受信・復調されたデジタル放送信号を外部映像機器に出力するための外部出力端子と、前記外部映像機器からの映像・音声信号を入力するための外部入力端子と、前記デジタルチューナにて受信・復調されたデジタル放送信号又は前記外部機器からの映像・音声信号を再生するためのモニタと、前記デジタルチューナと前記外部出力端子とは直接接続されており、該デジタルチューナ及び該外部出力端子と又は前記外部入力端子と、前記モニタとを接続するセレクタと、前記デジタルチューナと、前記セレクタと前記モニタとを制御する制御部と、前記制御部に対して制御指示を出すリモートコントローラと、前記外部映像機器に対して制御信号を送信する送信部と、を有しており、前記制御部は前記ＥＰＧを用いての予約録画が始まると外部映像機器に録画する旨の信号を送るとともに、前記セレクタに指示を送り該セレクタを前記モニタと前記外部入力端子を接続するように動作することを特徴とするデジタル放送受信ＴＶを提供する。

この構成によると、前記デジタル放送受信ＴＶに備えられたデジタルチューナにて受信し復調したデジタル放送信号を外部に接続した外部映像機器に送って録画するときに、自動的に外部入力端子とモニタが接続され、それによって前記外部入力端子からの映像・音声信号を自動的にモニタに再生することができるとともに、さらに、リモートコントローラを使うことでデジタル放送信号をモニタで再生することができる。

また上記目的を達成するために請求項３の発明は、アナログ放送信号を受信し復調するアナログチューナと、映像・音声信号をテープに録画するためのテープデッキ部と、前記映像・音声信号を外部映像機器に出力するための外部出力端子と、前記映像・音声信号を外部映像機器から入力するための外部入力端子と、前記アナログチューナと、前記テープデッキ部と、前記外部出力端子と、前記外部入力端子とを接続するセレクタと、前記アナログチューナと、前記テープデッキ部と、前記セレクタとを制御する制御部と、前記制御部に動作指示を出すためのリモートコントローラと、を有するＶＴＲにおいて、前記外部入力端子より入力された映像・音声信号をテープデッキで録画しているときには、アナログチューナにて受信・復調されたアナログ放送信号を外部出力端子を介して外部映像機器におくり、前記テープデッキ部で前記外部入力端子からの映像・音声信号をの録中であっても前記アナログチューナのチャンネルを変えることができることを特徴とするＶＴＲを提供する。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面を参照しつつ、本発明の実施の形態について説明する。図１は本発明の１実施形態に係るＴＶとＶＴＲのセットの概略構成を示すブロック図である。

図１に示すＴＶ１は、デジタル放送信号及びＥＰＧを受信し復調するデジタルチューナ１１と、受信・復調されたデジタル放送信号を外部映像機器に出力するための外部出力端子１２と、外部映像機器からの映像・音声信号を入力するための外部入力端子１３と、映像・音声信号を再生するためのモニタ１４と、映像・音声信号を分岐するＴＶセレクタ１５と、デジタルチューナ１１とＴＶセレクタ１５とモニタ１４とを制御するＴＶ制御部ＣＯＮＴとを有している。また、制御部ＣＯＮＴに指示を送るリモートコントローラ１６が備えられている。

デジタルチューナ１１は、ＴＶ１の外部に設けられたアンテナ３にて受信したデジタル放送信号を受信し、復調して映像・音声信号を生成する。外部出力端子１２は、外部に設けられた映像及び（又は）音響機器（ここでは、ＶＴＲ２）と接続されている。また、外部出力端子１２とデジタルチューナ１１は直接接続されている。外部入力端子１３は、上述の外部出力端子１２と同じ又は異なる映像及び（又は）音響機器（ここでは外部出力端子１２と接続しているのと同じＶＴＲ２）と接続されている。

ＴＶセレクタ１５は、モニタ側端子１５０を有しており、モニタ１４とデジタルチューナ１１及び外部出力端子１２とを接続する第１端子１５１と、モニタ１４と外部入力端子１３を接続する第２端子１５２とを有しており、モニタ１４と第１端子１５１と第２端子１５２とを選択的に接続することが可能である。つまり、モニタ１４が第１端子１５１と接続された場合は、チューナ１１にて受信し、復調された映像・音声信号がモニタ１４にて再生され、また、モニタ１４が第２端子１５２と接続された場合は、外部入力端子１３から入力されてくる映像・音声信号がモニタ１４にて再生される。

リモートコントローラ１６は、デジタルチューナ１１のチャンネル及びＥＰＧの操作、モニタ１４に出力される映像及び音声の調整、ＴＶセレクタ１５の切り替えを行う。リモートコントローラ１６より出された指示は、ＴＶ制御部ＣＯＮＴに送られた後、チューナ１１、モニタ１４、ＴＶセレクタ１５等の制御を行う。

図１に示すようにＴＶ１の外部出力端子１２とＶＴＲ２の外部入力端子２４とをケーブルで接続する。また、ＶＴＲ２の外部出力端子２３とＴＶ１の外部入力端子１３とをケーブルで接続する。詳細は省略するが、各端子は映像・音声を伝える端子を備えている。

アナログチューナ２１は、外部に設けられたアンテナ４と接続されており、アンテナ４にて受信したアナログ放送信号を復調して、映像・音声信号に変換する。ＶＴＲセレクタ２５は、外部入力端子２４と連結される第４端子２５４と、テープデッキ部２２と連結される第２端子２５２と、アナログチューナ２１と連結される第１端子２５１と、外部出力端子２３と連結される第３端子２５３とを備えている。

ＶＴＲ２には、アナログチューナ２１のチャンネル、テープデッキ部２２の録画、再生等の操作、ＶＴＲセレクタ２５の切り替え等を行うためのリモートコントローラ２７も含まれている。リモートコントローラ２７より出された指示は、ＶＴＲ制御部２６に送られた後、チューナ２１、テープデッキ部２２、ＶＴＲセレクタ２５等の制御を行う。

つぎに、ＴＶ１とＶＴＲ２を用いて録画を行うときのＴＶセレクタ１５とＶＴＲセレクタ２５の切り替えについて説明する。図２にＥＰＧの表示の一例を示す。

（１）ＴＶ１に内蔵されたデジタルチューナ１１を用いてＥＰＧ予約録画を行う場合。図３にＥＰＧ予約録画するときのフロー図を示す。例えば、図２のＣｈ．６の９：３０から１０：３０の音楽を予約録画する場合を例にとる。
まず、ＥＰＧによる録画の予約があるかどうか判定する（ステップＳ１）。録画予約がない場合、終了する（ステップＳ２）。録画予約がされているとき（ステップＳ１でＹＥＳのとき）、予約された時間になったかどうか判定する（ステップＳ３）。まだ予約時間になっていない場合（ステップＳ３でＮＯの場合）、予約時間になるまで現在の状態を続ける。予約時間（９：３０）になったとき（ステップＳ３でＹＥＳのとき）、ＴＶのセレクタ１５を切り替えてモニタ側端子１５０と第２端子１５２とを接続し、モニタ１４と外部入力端子１３と接続する（ステップＳ４）。また、ＶＴＲセレクタ２５の第４端子２５４と第２端子２５２及び第１端子２５１と第３端子２５３とを接続する（ステップＳ５）。デジタルチューナ１１のチャンネルをＣｈ．６に切り替えると同時に、ＶＴＲ２のテープデッキ部２２にて内挿されている図示を省略したテープに録画する（ステップＳ６）。

これにより、デジタルチューナ１１にて受信し、復調された映像・音声信号がテープデッキ部２２に送られ、アナログチューナ２１にて受信し、復調された映像・音声信号がモニタ１４に送られる。このとき、ユーザはリモコン２７を操作することによってアナログチューナ２１を介して、チャンネルを替えることができ、また、アナログチューナ２１とテープデッキ部２２は接続されていないので、アナログチューナ２１のチャンネルを替えてもテープデッキ部２２はデジタルチューナ１１よりの録画予約された映像・音声信号が録画され続ける。

予約録画中に録画している以外の番組を見たい場合、アナログチューナ２１のチャンネルを切り替えることで、モニタ１４に当該番組を映写することができる。また、予約録画中にＴＶセレクタ１５を切り替えることで、録画中の番組を見ることも可能である。

（２）ＶＴＲ２のテープデッキ部２２にてテープを再生して再生信号をモニタで再生する場合。
ＶＴＲ２のＶＴＲセレクタ２５の第２端子２５２と第３端子２５３を接続し、ＴＶセレクタ１５の外部入力端子側の第２端子１５２とモニタ側の端子１５０を接続する。これによって、テープデッキ部２２から出力された再生信号はＶＴＲ２の外部出力端子２３に送られ、ＴＶ１の外部入力端子１３に送られ、ＴＶセレクタ１５の第２端子１５２からモニタ側端子１５０を介してモニタ１４に送られて、モニタ１４にて再生出力される。

（３）ＶＴＲ２のアナログチューナ２１にて復調されたアナログ放送信号をテープデッキ部２２にて録画する場合。
ＶＴＲ２のＶＴＲセレクタ２５のアナログチューナ２１側の第１端子２５１とテープデッキ部２２側の第２端子２５２とを接続し、また、アナログチューナ２１側の第１端子２５１と外部出力端子２３側の第３端子２５３とを接続し、アナログチューナ２１にて復調されたアナログ放送信号はテープデッキ部２２に送られ録画される一方、アナログチューナ２１にて復調された映像・音声信号はＴＶ１側に送られ、モニタ１４にて再生される。

【発明の効果】
以上のように請求項１に係る発明によれば、ＥＰＧ信号を用いてＴＶのデジタルチューナで受信し、復調した映像・音声信号をＶＴＲにて録画しつつ、ＶＴＲのアナログチューナにて受信し、復調した映像・音声信号をＴＶのモニタにて再生することができる。

また請求項２の発明によれば、デジタル放送受信ＴＶに備えられたデジタルチューナにて受信し復調したデジタル放送信号を外部に接続した外部映像機器に送って録画するときに、自動的に外部入力端子とモニタが接続され、それによって前記外部入力端子からの映像・音声信号を自動的にモニタに再生することができるとともに、さらに、リモートコントローラを使うことでデジタル放送信号をモニタで再生することができる。

また請求項３の発明によれば、ＶＴＲの外部入力端子からの映像・音声信号を該ＶＴＲに備えられたテープデッキにて録画するときに、ＶＴＲに内蔵されたチューナにて受信し復調された放送信号を外部出力端子から外部機器に出力することができ、さらに該放送信号のチャンネルを変えることができる。
