【０００３】しかしながら上記従来のネックレス、ブレスレット、アンクレット等からなる装身具は一定の長さを有しているため、着用者の首や手首、足首等の太さに応じて、あるいはネックレス、ブレスレット、さらにはアンクレット等の用途に応じて使分けることはできず、非常に不便であった。

そのうち、連珠状の装身具の一端をその長さ方向の適所に係合させてその長さを調節するものとしては、例えば実公平４−３０８８４号公報に示されたクリップ状の長さ調節機構が知られている。これは１対の３字形の半割部材の一端をヒンジで連結し、他端をピンと係止環状とで係止できるようにしたものである。また実公平４８−１０３９号公報には、円盤状の連結具に小孔と小孔に通じるスリットを設け、このスリットから小孔位置に小孔より大きな珠玉等の係止玉をはめ込んで連結するようになっている。

また実公平４８−１０３９号公報の中央に小孔を設けた円盤状の連結具に小孔に通じるスリットを設けた機構においては、スリットが開口したままであって紐等が外れやすく、円盤状の連結具の小孔から抜け止め用の係止玉が突出して美観を損なうという問題があった。
【０００８】そこでこの発明は、着用者において自分の体格や日々着用する衣服の変化に応じてその長さを木目細かに迅速かつ確実に調節することにより、体格、衣服等に合う適切な長さにおいて使用することができ、ネックレス、ブレスレット、アンクレットの何れにも選択使用することが可能な長さ調節可能な装身具を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】この発明の長さを調節可能な装身具は上記に鑑み、多数の珠玉に貫通孔を設け、この貫通孔内に通糸等を挿通して連結した連珠状の装身具であって、この連珠部の一端に台座を取り付け、この台座に、連珠部の通糸の通過を許容する幅に開口する首部を備えたフックを設けるとともに、フックに形成された所定幅に開口する上記首部に、開口部分を通糸の通過に応じて開閉する弾性開閉機構を取り付けたことを特徴とするものである。

【発明の実施の形態】以下、図１ないし図４に基いてこの発明の長さを調節可能な装身具の実施の形態を説明する。
