内燃機関等では、冷却用ポンプや発電用ジェネレータ等の補機を駆動する場合、該内燃機関から動力を取り出し、ベルト駆動によってこれらの補機を回転駆動する。このようなベルト駆動において、特にアイドラプーリは、外輪回転のラジアル玉軸受が使用されるが、通常軸受の外輪外周面に合成樹脂をインサート成形により射出成形した樹脂一体型の軸受付き軸受付樹脂製プーリとして製作し、使用される。このように外輪の外周に合成樹脂を一体成形した軸受付き樹脂製プーリは、内燃機関周囲に配置され、回転中の熱の発生により潤滑剤の劣化や消耗により寿命低下が問題となっている。

従来から軸受付き樹脂製プーリの上記問題を解決するため種々の提案がなされている。例えば、図3に示すように、内転動体案内部材12とこれを組み込んだ樹脂成形品の内樹脂製ケース13とで構成される内輪14と、外転動体案内部材15とこれを組み込んだ樹脂成形品の外樹脂製ケース16とで構成される外輪17と、前記内転動体案内部材12と外転動体案内部材15との間に複数の球状転動体18が配設されたもので、前記内転動体案内部材12と外転動体案内部材15とは、中空円筒体の長手方向で、且つ、その中央部に転動溝(12a,15a)を有すると共に、中空円筒体の一方端で、その端部を曲折して成る鍔12b、15bに樹脂ケース13、16に組み込まれる際の樹脂の滑り止めを有する形態が一体にプレス成形された樹脂製プーリ付き軸受が提案されている(特許文献1参照)。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記するように、軸受外輪と一体成形される合成樹脂製プーリは、熱によるグリースの劣化或いは洩れにより寿命が低下するという問題がある。また、加工部分が多く、軸受製作に要する製造コストが高い、という問題もあった。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、この発明の具体的な実施の形態について図面を参照して説明する。
図1は、この発明の軸受付樹脂製プーリを示すものであって、軸方向の一部断面図である。この軸受付樹脂製プーリは、外輪1と、内輪2と転動体(玉)3と、前記外輪外周側に樹脂をモールド成形により一体に形成された樹脂プーリ部4と、で構成されている。尚、前記転動体3は、周方向一定間隔に保持器(図示省略)により保持されている。また、前記樹脂プーリ部4外周には、ベルト(図示省略)を係止させるためのV溝4a,4a,・・が形成され、外輪1が該樹脂プーリ部4と一体に回転するようにしてある。
