【従来の技術】
一般にマスカラブラシは、マスカラ液を収納するマスカラ容器本体に指し込んだ状態で販売さている。従来のマスカラブラシは、ブラシ部、マスカラ棒、キャップで構成されており、これらが一直線状に配置されているのものが一般的である。

一直線状に配置されているマスカラブラシは、マスカラ容器本体に収納する上では扱いやすいが、マスカラ液を睫毛に塗布する上では扱いにくい点があり、それを改良するための出願がなされている。例えば、マスカラ棒の先端を３０度前後傾斜させてブラシ部を装着したものとしては、実開昭５５―１３６４０９が出願されている。

さらに手間をかけないで簡単に睫毛にマスカラ液を塗布する事が出来るマスカラブラシの提案としては、マスカラブラシを円弧状にした特開２００１―２８６３４０が出願されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来の直線状のマスカラブラシは、睫毛にマスカラ液を塗る際に、ブラシ部のところだけが睫毛に接触すればいいのであるが、直線状のマスカラ棒までにもマスカラ液が付着しているために、ブラシ部以外の余分な部分に付着したマスカラ液が、頬骨、鼻柱、髪の毛等に付着することが多かった。又ブラシ部は、ほぼ目の横幅の長さと同じで、それより長いマスカラ棒が目の周りの頬など凹凸部分に接触してその部分を汚すなど扱いにくかった。

直線状のマスカラブラシを改良した、実開昭５５−１３６４０９の考案は、ブラシ部を３０度傾斜させることにより直線状のものより、マスカラ棒と頬骨との間隔を広く保つことが出来るので、頬骨、鼻、髪の毛等にマスカラ液が付着し難くなった。しかし３０度前後ぐらいの傾斜では凹凸の多い目の周辺などでは、睫毛に塗るときにはマスカラ棒が、邪魔になって塗りにくかった。

円弧状のブラシは特開２００１―２８６３４０があるが、これは瞼のカーブに沿わせる為にブラシの形状を円弧状にしたもので、一見使いやすそうであるが、瞼のカーブは個人個人で異なっているし、同じ人でも左右の目の曲率も異っている。例えばカーブのきつい目頭や、目じりにブラシ部の先端を合わせて塗布しようとすると、睫毛に接触していないブラシ部が睫毛以外のところにマスカラ液を塗布したりしたりするし、又瞼のカーブに合わせて円弧状のブラシを動かして睫毛の隅々まで塗ろうとすると、マスカラ棒が目の横幅より外側で大きく動かすことになり、不必要な部分に塗布してしまう危険が多かった。
本発明はこれら従来のマスカラブラシではやりにくい点を解決することを課題としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
請求項１の本発明のマスカラブラシはマスカラ棒とブラシ部との間にほぼ９０度に曲げることが出来る屈折部を持つことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の実施の形態を実施例に基づき添付図面を参照して以下詳細に説明する。

本発明の第一実施例は屈折部３に、蛇腹の機能を利用する方法をこれまでに説明してきたが、容器本体１０の挿入口１０ａなどを利用してマスカラ棒２とブラシ部４の角度をほぼ直角に曲げることが出来る材料であれば合成樹脂だけでなく金属も利用する事が出来るが、繰り返し曲げたり伸ばしたりするので、耐久性のある材料と構造を選択するのがよい。
