Description

【0001】
【0026】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a live bird cage lid removing device.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Live bird cages are used to transport live birds from poultry farms to poultry processing plants.
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 7, a live bird cage 100 generally has a side wall and a bottom wall of a lattice structure and an inverted quadrangular truncated pyramid shape having a substantially rectangular shape in plan view and an open upper end, and a cage body. And a lid 102 having a lattice structure, which is locked to the open upper end of 101.
A narrow outer flange 101a is formed at the upper end of the basket main body 101. The outer edge of the outer flange 101a is bent downward.
Two pairs of ribs 101b extending vertically are formed on the outer surface of the long side wall of the basket main body 101 at intervals in the direction in which the side wall extends. When the live bird cage 100 arriving at the poultry processing factory in a state of being stacked in multiple stages is loaded and unloaded onto the transport conveyor of the live bird processing line from the live bird cage 100 at the bottom using the loading / unloading device, the loading / unloading is performed. The claw of the unloading device is engaged with the lower end of the rib 100b of the live bird cage located just above the live bird cage to hold the live bird cage immediately above and the live bird cage further above.
The outer peripheral edge 102a of the lid 102 is bent downward. A pair of locking claws 102b extend from the lower end of the outer peripheral edge on the long side of the lid 102 at a distance from each other in the extending direction of the long side. The lid 102 is locked to the upper end of the basket main body 101 in a state where the locking claw 102b is engaged with the lower end of the outer edge of the outer flange 101a of the basket main body 101. An opening 102d that can be opened and closed by a sliding door 102c is formed in the lid 102.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the poultry processing plant, conventionally, when the live bird cage 100 is transported to the vicinity of the bird poultry processing device by the transport conveyor, the worker pulls the sliding door 102c to open the opening 102d, and from the live bird cage 100 through the opening 102d. Raw birds were taken out one by one and hung on a hanger of a poultry processing device. As a result, when taking out a live bird from the live bird cage 100, there were many accidents in which the live bird was damaged by interference with the edge of the opening 102d. In addition, since the used live bird cage 100 was washed with the lid 102 attached, dirt inside the live bird cage could not be sufficiently removed.
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and has as its object to provide an apparatus that automatically removes a lid from a live bird cage placed on a transport conveyor of a poultry processing plant.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, in the present invention, a conveyor on which a live bird cage is placed, and disposed on both sides of the conveyor, the inner traveling part travels in the same direction as the conveyor and is placed on the conveyor. A pair of first endless chains abutting on a pair of opposite side walls of the live bird cage, and disposed on both sides of the conveyor and above the first endless chain, and the inner running portion runs in the same direction as the conveyor while moving in the same direction as the conveyor. And a pair of second endless chains reciprocating in the lateral and distant directions of the conveyor, and attached to the second endless chains with a small gap therebetween. A live bird cage lid removing device, comprising: a plurality of claws protruding in the center direction and engaging with locking claws formed on a live bird cage lid.
When the inner running portion of the second endless chain moves upward in the same direction as the conveyor and relatively moves with respect to the conveyor, the claws projecting from the inner running portion of the second endless chain toward the center of the conveyer have a live bird cage. The birdcage is engaged with the locking claw formed on the lid from below, and the live bird cage is lifted from the conveyor. When the inner running portion of the second endless chain reciprocates sideways and away from the conveyor, the locking claws of the lid of the live bird cage that engage with the claws of the second endless chain are elastic for a predetermined time. Deforms and moves away from the side wall of the live bird cage. The inner running portion of the first endless chain abuts against the side wall of the basket main body, thereby preventing the basket main body side wall from springback outward. As a result, the locking claw can be easily separated from the basket body side wall. When the locking claw of the lid of the live bird cage is separated from the side wall of the basket main body, the engagement between the locking claw and the lower end of the outer edge of the outer flange formed on the upper end of the basket main body is released. The cage body released from engagement with the locking claw of the lid moves downward by its own weight. The engagement between the locking claw formed on the lid of the live bird cage and the lower end of the outer edge of the outer flange formed on the upper end of the basket main body engages with the rear hook from the front locking claw in the traveling direction of the live bird cage conveyed by the conveyor. The birdcage is sequentially released toward the stop claws, and the lid of the live bird cage is removed from the cage body. As the second endless chain moves upward relative to the conveyor, the lid engaged with the pawl of the second endless chain moves downward by its own weight and moves upward away from the basket body returning to the conveyor.
As can be seen from the above description, the apparatus according to the present invention is capable of automatically removing the lid from the live bird cage placed on the conveyor of the poultry processing plant.
[0005]
In a preferred aspect of the present invention, the inner running portion of the second endless chain moves to the side and in the approaching direction of the conveyor before reciprocating to the side and in the separating direction of the conveyor.
When the inner running portion of the second endless chain moves sideways and in the proximity direction of the conveyor before reciprocating in the sideways direction and the separation direction of the conveyor, the claw attached to the second endless chain becomes a cage body of a live bird cage. Elastically deforms the side wall of the birdcage inward, so that the gap between the locking claw formed on the lid of the live bird cage and the side wall of the cage body widens, and the claw attached to the second endless chain is formed on the lid of the live bird cage. It becomes easy to engage with the engaged locking claw.
[0006]
In a preferred aspect of the present invention, the live bird cage lid removing device is disposed near and above the inner running portion of the second endless chain and substantially parallel to the inner running portion of the second endless chain, and the lower running portion has the It has a pair of third endless chains that run in the same direction as the inner running portion of the two endless chains.
Since the lower running portion of the third endless chain presses the lid of the live bird cage from above, the behavior of the lid does not become unstable when the lid is removed from the cage body.
[0007]
In a preferred aspect of the present invention, the live bird cage lid removing device is disposed closer to the center of the conveyor than the inner running portion of the second endless chain, and the starting end of the upper running portion is the end of the inner running portion of the two endless chain. Positioned at approximately the same height as the nearby portion, the upper running portion runs in the same direction as the inner running portion of the second endless chain, and moves upward relative to the conveyor at a greater inclination than the inner running portion of the second endless chain. It has a pair of fourth endless chains that move.
Since the lid of the live bird cage is transferred from the second endless chain to the fourth endless chain, the lid may be pulled by the inner running parts of both second endless chains near the end of the inner running part of the second endless chain, and may be damaged. The occurrence is prevented.
[0008]
In a preferred aspect of the present invention, the portion near the end of the inner running portion of the first endless chain moves in the same direction as the conveyor and moves laterally and away from the conveyor. The first endless chain moves away from the cage main body side wall of the live bird cage by moving in the side direction and the separating direction of the conveyor while the vicinity of the end of the inner running portion of the first endless chain runs in the same direction as the conveyor. Since the resistance when the basket body moves downward due to its own weight is reduced, the basket body can quickly return to the conveyor.
[0009]
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the first endless chain and the second endless chain are assembled integrally.
Since the first endless chain and the second endless chain are integrally assembled, the size of the live bird cage lid removing device is reduced.
[0010]
In a preferred aspect of the present invention, the live bird cage lid removing device includes a cover member disposed above the downstream region of the second endless chain of the conveyor and extending along the conveyor to the vicinity of the poultry processing device.
By disposing the cover member,
Before the live bird cage reaches the vicinity of the poultry processing apparatus, it is possible to prevent the live bird from escaping from the cage body of the live bird cage whose lid is removed and the upper end is opened.
