この発明は、機内にセットされる遊技盤の盤面上に画成された遊技領域に遊技球を打出して所要の遊技を行なわせる遊技機に関するものである。

パチンコ機、アレンジボール機あるいはパチンコ式スロットマシン等の遊技機では、機内にセットされる遊技盤の盤面に画成した遊技領域の略中央位置に装飾部材が配設されて、該装飾部材に形成した開口部から液晶式やドラム式等の図柄表示装置を臨ませ、この図柄表示装置で図柄組合わせゲームに伴うリーチ演出等の主たる遊技演出を行なうようになっている。このような図柄組合わせゲームを行なう遊技機においては、該遊技機の形状を他メーカの遊技機に比べて特異な形状としたり、遊技盤面に目立つような装飾部材を配設する等により、そのデザイン性の差別化を図り、遊技者が親しみ易く、遊び心を高揚させるよう努めている。

しかし、平面的な絵柄だけではリアリティに欠け、遊技者に対するアピール度に乏しい。また、立体的な意匠体や演出用可動体では、リアリティを向上して遊技者の遊び心を高揚させることはできるが、該立体的な意匠体や演出用可動体を、前記遊技盤の盤面や装飾部材における遊技球が転動する転動領域に配設する場合には、該遊技球の円滑な転動を阻害したり、詰まり等が発生することがないように配慮する必要があり、設計が煩雑でその配設位置も限定される難点が指摘される。

本発明は、前述した従来の技術に内在している前記課題に鑑み、これを好適に解決するべく提案されたものであって、遊技球の転動を阻害することなく新規な装飾態様が得られる遊技機を提供することを目的とする。

本発明に係る遊技機では、遊技領域に打出された遊技球が転動する盤面に形成した切欠部、あるいは遊技領域に配設された装飾部材における遊技球の転動領域に形成した切欠部を介して、盤裏側あるいは装飾部材の裏側に配設された基本的電気素子や機械式可動部品が露出する。すなわち、意匠部材を別途配設するものとは異なる新規な装飾態様が得られ、視覚的な演出効果が向上する。また、遊技球が切欠部から裏側へ通過しないよう該切欠部の開口寸法が設定されているから、切欠部の形成位置は限定されず、設計の自由度が増す。更に、遊技盤あるいは装飾部材の非転動領域に別の切欠部を形成し、該切欠部を介して盤裏側あるいは装飾部材の裏側に配設された基本的電気素子や機械式可動部品を露出することで、より視覚的な演出効果が向上する

【発明の実施の形態】
次に、本発明に係る遊技機につき、好適な実施例を挙げて、添付図面を参照しながら以下詳細に説明する。なお、本実施例では、遊技機としてパチンコ機を例に挙げて説明するが、遊技機としてはアレンジボール機あるいはパチンコ式スロットマシン等であってもよい。また、明細書中において、「基本的電気素子」とは、基板自体、該基板に実装される抵抗やコンデンサ等の各種電子部品、および基板に接続される電気配線等を総称するものとして使用している。

図1に示す実施例に係るパチンコ機Pの機内に配設された遊技盤Jには、その盤面に、略円形状に湾曲形成したレール10が配設されて、該レール10の内部に遊技領域Iが画成されている。そして、パチンコ機Pの打球発射装置を作動する操作ハンドル12の操作により、上球皿14に貯留されている遊技球16が、前記レール10に沿って遊技領域Iに打出され、該領域Iを流下するよう構成される。

前記装飾部材20は、図2および図3に示す如く、遊技領域Iの略中央に配設されて、該領域Iの左右幅方向の大部分を占める大型のものであって、この装飾部材20は、横長の略楕円筒状に形成された本体枠36と、該本体枠36の後側に配設されてその後方開口部に取着整合された裏蓋部材38とから基本的に構成される。前記本体枠36には、図4に示す如く、その前側外周縁の略全周に所定厚みのフランジ36aが一体形成されている。そして、前記遊技盤Jにルータ加工により形成された装着孔(図示せず)に、該本体枠36が前側から挿入されて、そのフランジ36aを遊技盤Jの盤面に当接した状態で、該フランジ36aの複数箇所をネジ等により盤面にネジ止めすることで、当該装飾部材20はフランジ36aの前面が盤面と略面一となった状態で遊技盤Jに装着される。なお、フランジ36aの厚みは、遊技盤Jの盤面を流下する遊技球16の流れを阻害することのない寸法に設定され、該フランジ36aの前面も遊技領域Iを構成するようになっている。

前記本体枠36の上部における正面右側に偏った位置に、後述する第1の演出用可動体84が収容されるケース体40が一体的に形成されている。このケース体40は、図4に示す如く、前後に開放すると共にその前側外周縁の略全周にフランジ40aが形成され、本体枠36と同様に前記装着孔に前側から挿入されて、そのフランジ40aを遊技盤Jの盤面に当接した状態で、該フランジ40aが盤面に複数箇所でネジ止めされている。なお、ケース体40におけるフランジ40aの前面は、前記本体枠36のフランジ36aと同様に、遊技盤Jの盤面と略面一となるよう設定され、該ケース体40のフランジ40aの前面が、遊技領域Iの一部を構成するようになっている。また、ケース体40の遊技領域I内に臨む前面開口部40bには、後側から着脱可能に挿入された透明なアクリル樹脂製の透視板42が臨んで、該前面開口部40bを閉塞している。この透視板42の前面は、ケース体40におけるフランジ40aの前面と面一に設定されて、該フランジ40aと共に遊技球16が流下する遊技領域Iの一部を構成している。なお、透視板42は透明であり、ケース体40に収容された前記第1の演出用可動体84を前側から透視可能に遊技球から保護するべく機能する。

前記裏蓋部材38の中央内部には、図5に示す如く、前端面から後方へ延在する矩形筒状の窓部38aが形成され、この窓部38aに、前記図柄表示装置Kの図柄表示部44が後側から臨むよう構成される。また装飾部材20の左端部に、図3に示す如く、コイル状に形成されたワープ部材46が配設され、遊技盤Jの盤面上を流下する遊技球16は、該ワープ部材46を介して装飾部材20における本体枠36で囲われた内部空間Sに導入されるようになっている。前記裏蓋部材38における図柄表示部44の周囲に位置する装飾板48は、該図柄表示部44に対する位置関係で、上装飾板48a、右装飾板48b、左装飾板48cおよび下装飾板48dから構成され、上装飾板48aは、他の装飾板48b,48c,48dに対して所定長さだけ前方に突出している。そして、本体枠36で囲われた内部空間Sに臨む裏蓋部材38の上装飾板48aを除く他の装飾板48b,48c,48dの前面が、該内部空間Sに導入された遊技球16が転動可能な転動領域50を構成するようになっている。

前記裏蓋部材38における装飾板48の右装飾板48bに、前後に開放する所定寸法の開口部52が形成されると共に、該右装飾板48bの裏側に基板ホルダ54が配設されている。そして、この基板ホルダ54に設けられて前側に突出する突出部54aが、図3および図6に示すように前記開口部52内に臨んで、当該開口部52と突出部54aの間に第1の切欠部56を画成するよう構成される。なお、突出部54aの前面は、右装飾板48bの前面と面一となっており、該突出部54aの前面を遊技球16が支障なく転動し得るようにしてある。また、第1の切欠部56の開口寸法は、遊技球16の裏側への通過を許容しない値(遊技球16の直径より小さい値)に設定され、該遊技球16が第1の切欠部56の前側を支障なく転動し得るよう構成される。ちなみに、遊技球16の直径が11mmである場合では、前記遊技球16の裏側への通過を許容しない値とは、例えば11mm未満となる。

前記基板ホルダ54には、LED等の複数の第1の発光手段58を実装した第1の基板60が配設され、該発光手段58、あるいは第1の基板60、他の電子部品や配線等の基本的電気素子が、前記第1の切欠部56を介して露出して、パチンコ機Pの前側から直に視認し得るようになっている。但し、第1の発光手段58は、第1の切欠部56から前方に突出するものではなく、該切欠部56の前側を転動する遊技球16に接触して破損することはないよう構成される。また第1の基板60に実装された第1の発光手段58は、遊技状態に応じて点灯・消灯(点滅)制御される。更に、左右の装飾板48b,48cおよび下装飾板48dには、その所要領域に半透明のカバー体62が夫々嵌め込まれて、各装飾板48b,48c,48dの裏側に配設したLED等の発光手段(図示せず)による照明演出を表示し得るようになっている。

前記装飾部材20における前記内部空間Sに臨む本体枠36の上側装飾板64には、その前側に、中央部を挟んで左右に略円弧状に形成されたランプレンズ66,66が配設されると共に、両レンズ66,66の間に第1の装飾体68が配設されている。この第1の装飾体68には、キャラクターの名称等がくり抜かれ、当該部分の裏側に色付きの板材が配設されて、該名称等が目立つようにしてある。また、第1の装飾体68の下側に臨む上側装飾板64には、図3および図7に示す如く、所要開口寸法の第2の切欠部(別の切欠部)70が形成され、該切欠部70を介して裏側に配設された後述の第2の基板74やこれに実装された各種の電子部品93あるいは配線等の基本的電気素子が露出するよう構成される。更に、前記上側装飾板64の前側には、第2の切欠部70を挟んで第2の装飾体71と第3の装飾体72とが左右に離間して配設されている。なお、前記本体枠36における上側装飾板64は、前記裏蓋部材38の上装飾板48aより更に前側に突出しており、その前面は前記内部空間Sに導入された遊技球16が転動しない非転動領域73となっている。

前記上側装飾板64の裏側には、多数のLED等の発光手段や抵抗等の各種の電子部品93が実装された第2の基板74が配設されている。この第2の基板74には、前後に整列する前記第1前側通孔71aと第1後側通孔64aとに対応する4つのレンズカバー75aを設けた第1レンズホルダ75が配設され、各レンズカバー75aが対応する両通孔71a,64aに後側から挿通されている。第2の基板74の第1レンズホルダ75が配設される位置に、前記始動入賞具18に通入されたセーフ球の数に対応する保留数を表示する保留数用発光手段76が、各レンズカバー75aに対応して実装されている。なお、第1レンズホルダ75における最右側のレンズカバー75aは、前記第2の切欠部70と対応するように一部が切欠かれている。すなわち、前記上側装飾板64に形成した第2の切欠部70を介して、保留数用発光手段76、あるいは第2の基板74や、これに実装されている抵抗や配線等の基本的電気素子が露出し、パチンコ機Pの前側から第2の基板74等の基本的電気素子を直に視認し得るよう構成される。
