Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball swallowing amount suppressing device for a new carrying and polishing device capable of carrying pachinko balls while polishing them without biting by avoiding carrying of the pachinko balls in a state of adhesion during transfer without regard to the speed of a carrying belt. <P>SOLUTION: The pachinko ball carrying and polishing device is for carrying the pachinko balls on an endless belt. この発明は、遊技用パチンコ玉の搬送研磨装置において、この搬送研磨装置に流入するパチンコ玉量を安定的に搬送研磨する布式等の遊技用パチンコ玉の搬送研磨装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来より、パチンコ玉の揚送研磨装置に関する技術としては、一般に、揚送路の一方の面に無端状の揚送ベルトを設け、他方の面に研磨能力を有する紙や布等の研磨材を配置し、その背面にパチンコ玉の直径よりやや大きな略半円形の凹溝を複数列形成した弾性材料から成るガイドレールをスプリング等を介して挟持板に固定し、揚送ベルトと研磨材及びガイドレールの間にパチンコ玉を挟むように介在させ、前記揚送ベルトを駆動してパチンコ玉を揚送しながら研磨を行なう揚送研磨装置が知られている。この揚送研磨装置においては、パチンコ玉と研磨材との接触面積を大きくするために、揚送されるパチンコ玉に追随するように弾性変形可能とされたガイドレールがスプリング等を介して挟持板に固定されていることから、高い研磨能力を得るためにパチンコ玉の挟持圧力を高めると、ガイドレールが撓んでパチンコ玉を前記凹溝内に抱き込んでしまい、意図した挟持圧力を得ることができず、研磨材との摩擦力が大きくなって、パチンコ玉がうまく回転しないようになり、全体的にパチンコ玉の研磨が良好になされなくなったり、パチンコ玉が前記玉通路に滞留して、玉噛みを起こし、揚送に支障をきたす場合があった。このような揚送研磨装置の玉噛みを生じないようにするため、前記挟持板を高剛性樹脂板で形成するパチンコ玉の揚送研磨装置がある(例えば、特許文献1参照)。

この従来の揚送研磨装置においては、前記挟持板を弾性変形しずらい高剛性樹脂板で形成しているため、パチンコ玉の挟持圧力を高めても挟持板の変形が少ないので、パチンコ玉と研磨材との接触面積が大きくなることがなく、これにより摩擦の上昇を少なくできるから、パチンコ玉の玉通路内において摩擦の増大に起因する滞留を起き難くして、玉噛みを生じないようにする特徴を有するものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、従来の挟持板を高剛性樹脂板で形成する揚送研磨装置においては、弾性変形しずらい高剛性樹脂板を挟持板に用いることで、挟持板の弾性変形による玉噛みを生じないようにしたものであるが、弾性変形以外の原因による玉噛み防止対策には十分な対応ができない問題があり、例えば、揚送ベルトの速さによっては、揚送研磨装置に流入する玉呑込量もそれに応じて多くなる場合があり、このような場合は密着して玉突き状態となって搬送されるパチンコ玉を噛んでしまい揚送ベルトが拘束状態となる危険があるという問題があった。つまり、揚送研磨装置の玉呑込口に流入してくるパチンコ玉の速さより、揚送研磨装置の揚送ベルトの速さが遅い場合、パチンコ玉が密着したまま上方に運ばれる。密着した玉突き状態の場合のパチンコ玉は、接触する外周が互いに正反対方向に擦れ合い、ブレーキとなることから、揚送ベルトにかかる負荷として働く。玉数が少数で揚送力がブレーキに勝っている範囲なら揚送ベルトが止まることはないが、ある限界を超えた時点でブレーキが勝り、揚送ベルトが停止するような支障が発生する。このような問題は、揚送研磨装置に限らず他の搬送研磨装置にも発生する問題であると考えられる。

本発明は、上記した問題に鑑み、その解決しようとする課題は、揚送研磨装置に限らず他の搬送研磨装置にも適用することができ、搬送ベルトの速さに拘わりなく、搬送中はパチンコ玉が密着状態で搬送されないようにすることで、パチンコ玉を噛み込まずに研磨しつつ搬送できる新規な搬送研磨装置の玉呑込量抑制装置を提供することを目的とするものである。

【本発明の実施の形態】

(パチンコ玉揚送研磨装置の概略構造)
図1ないし図3を参照しながら、後述するガイド部材の適用例であるパチンコ玉揚送研磨装置1(以下、単に「揚送研磨装置1」という)の概略構成について説明する。揚送研磨装置1は、床面に設置するベース部3と、このベース部から起立する揚送塔5と、から概ね構成してある。揚送塔5には、その正面にドア部7(図2参照)をヒンジ結合して開閉するようにしてある。揚送塔5の内部には、ガイド部材11と、研磨材として用いる研磨布13と、を設置し、揚送ベルト15が通過できるように構成してある。図3に示す符号17は、揚送ベルト15をガイドするためのガイドローラを示しており、このガイドローラ17は、揚送ベルト15の長さ方向に所定間隔毎に複数個設けてある。各部材の詳細な構造については、次項以下で説明する。

(揚送ベルトの構造)
図1及び2に示すように、揚送ベルト15は、駆動ローラ21と従動ローラ23とにより張架した無端ベルトであって、モータ25を駆動源として回転するようにしてある。また、駆動ローラ21から見た往路で揚送塔5内を通過し、復路でベルトカバー27内を通過するようにしてある。揚送ベルト15は、搬送しようとするパチンコ玉と接触する搬送面15a(図3参照)を有し、パチンコ玉に押圧力を加えるために充分な弾性を備えている。揚送ベルト15を構成する素材は、合成ゴムが一般的であるが、合成ゴム以外の素材(たとえば、布材、合成皮革材)やこれらの複合体等であってもよい。

(ガイド部材の構造)
図3に示すガイド部材11は、揚送ベルト15とともに搬送しようとするパチンコ玉に充分な押圧力を加えることのできる素材により構成してあり、そのために好適な素材として、たとえば、金属や適度の硬度を持つ合成樹脂材がある。より具体的には、アクリル樹脂を基本材とする人工大理石やエポキシ樹脂等の単体や複合体がある。ガイド部材11は、図3に示すように揚送ベルト15の搬送面15aに対向するガイド面11aを有している。ガイド部材11は、後述する複数条の研磨ガイド溝31を有する広幅のガイド構成部材で構成し、又は並列させた複数のガイド構成片をネジ部材等の連結手段により連結することなどにより構成してある。

ガイド部材11のガイド面11a側には、パチンコ玉の搬送方向に沿って伸びる研磨ガイド溝31が形成してある。この研磨ガイド溝31は、パチンコ玉の搬送通路としてのガイド溝を構成するものである。該研磨ガイド溝31の形状は、パチンコ玉と溝底部31a(図7参照)で1点接触する溝形状に形成されており、通常のパチンコ玉の搬送通路としてのガイド溝と変わらないものである。研磨ガイド溝31の断面形状は、後述する研磨布13を介してパチンコ玉を部分的に受け入れられるように形成してある。研磨ガイド溝31の条数設定は、ガイド部材11の有効幅やパチンコ玉の揚送数等の事情に合わせて行ったものであるので、事情の許す範囲で増減することに問題はない。

(研磨布の構造)
図3及び4に示す研磨布13は、ガイド部材11のガイド面11a上に装着できてパチンコ玉を研磨できるものであればその形態や材質等に何ら制限はない。本実施形態では、研磨布として丈夫な木綿布を採用してあり、これを着脱自在に設けることにより汚れたときに簡単に交換できるように構成してある。

(パチンコ玉流入部のアール状ガイド部材の構造)
次に、図4及び5を参照しながら、揚送研磨装置1のパチンコ玉流入部を構成するアール状ガイド部材41について説明する。アール状ガイド部材41は、駆動ローラ21と図外の従動ローラ23とにより駆動される揚送ベルト15が下端に移動したときに、この揚送ベルトとの間にパチンコ玉を挟持して搬送方向にガイドするための部材である。アール状ガイド部材41は、アール状底板43と、ガイド部材11の下端に連接する上端基部45と、を備えている。アール状ガイド部材41の揚送ベルト15側には、アール状ガイド溝46が1条ずつ形成してある。このアール状ガイド溝46は、パチンコ玉の搬送通路としてのガイド溝を構成するものであり、パチンコ玉の搬送通路の下流側に位置する前記ガイド部材11の各研磨ガイド溝31に対して、パチンコ玉を一列縦列でガイド可能なように形成されている。このアール状ガイド溝46の形状等の詳細については後述する。アール状ガイド部材41は、ガイド部材11と同じ合成樹脂により構成してあり、受け入れたパチンコ玉を揚送ベルト15下端部の押圧力により押圧しつつ搬送する。すなわち、投入されたパチンコ玉は、駆動ローラ21に巻き掛かった揚送ベルト15とアール状ガイド部材41との間に挟持されながら直線部のガイド部材11方向に案内される。

なお、上記アール状ガイド部材41を複数の部材から成るように分割構成して、アール状ガイド部が押圧力を受けた場合、個々に分割されたアール状ガイド部が他のアール状ガイド部から独立して、例えばコイルバネ等により、弾性変形可能に構成してもよい。このように弾性変形可能に構成すれば、各アール状ガイド部が揚送ベルト15から受ける押圧力に部分的なアンバランスが生じたとしても、押圧力を受けたアール状ガイド部が独立してその押圧力に対応するので、そのアンバランスがアール状ガイド部材41全体に悪影響を与えることがない。この場合、各アール状ガイド部自身の弾性復帰力が十分である場合には、コイルバネを省略してもよい。

アール状ガイド部材41と揚送ベルト15とにより案内されたパチンコ玉は、ガイド部材11の研磨ガイド溝31に研磨材13を介して受け入れられ、揚送ベルト15の押圧力により揚送研磨される。研磨材13は、アール状ガイド部材41の終端とガイド部材11下端との接続部に形成された研磨布導入口14から研磨ガイド溝31内に介装され、揚送により上昇運動するパチンコ玉を研磨するように張設されており、該ガイド部材11上端から研磨ガイド溝31外へ引き出されるように構成されている。この研磨材13の新しい研磨面は、ガイド部材11上端から引き出された研磨材13を引き下げることにより、新たな研磨面がガイド部材11下端の研磨布導入口14から研磨ガイド溝31内へ繰り出されるように構成されているものである。

(パチンコ玉流入部の玉呑込量抑制部の構造)
図4及び5を参照しながら、パチンコ玉流入部の玉呑込量抑制部の構造について説明する。本実施形態では、この玉呑込量抑制部の構造が一つの特徴をなすものである。図4に示すように、パチンコ玉流入部を構成するアール状ガイド部材41には、玉呑込口42が設けられている。この玉呑込口42は、図外のパチンコ機から排出されて集められた大量のパチンコ玉を揚送研磨装置1へ搬送するパチンコ玉の呑込口である。この玉呑込口42において、パチンコ玉が前記アール状ガイド溝46へと流入し易いように、その入口部がやや後退下降傾斜に形成されている。このアール状ガイド溝46にパチンコ玉が流入した後は、一列縦列で形成されたガイド溝によりパチンコ玉は揚送ベルト15との間で挟み着けられた状態で転動させられて搬送され、次いでアール状ガイド部材41に連接された前記ガイド部材11へと搬送されるものである。

本実施形態の玉呑込量抑制部は、図4に示すように、アール状ガイド部材41の前記玉呑込口42から前記ガイド部材11の導入部にまたがる区間に形成されている。なお、この玉呑込量抑制部は、前記玉呑込口42から前記アール状ガイド部材41の上端基部45の終端までの区間に形成されるものでもよい。

次に、玉呑込量抑制部を構成するパチンコ玉のガイド溝の具体的構造について説明する。図6に示すように、玉呑込量抑制部を構成するガイド溝は、アール状ガイド部材41のアール状ガイド溝46及びガイド部材11の導入部の導入ガイド溝36から成る。あるいは、上記したようにアール状ガイド部材41のアール状ガイド溝46で単独に構成されるものでもよい。該アール状ガイド溝46及び導入ガイド溝36の断面形状は、溝面の開口部がパチンコ玉を受け入れ易くするため緩やかに幅広がりの態様に形成されており、溝本体部(図では符合36又は46に示す)は略半円形でパチンコ玉の径よりもやや小径に形成されている。このため、パチンコ玉は、このアール状ガイド溝46及び導入ガイド溝36においては溝本体部の上方部分で接するように形成されており、該溝本体部の底部はパチンコ玉と接触しないように構成されている。したがって、アール状ガイド部材41の前記玉呑込口42から前記上端基部45にわたる部分においては、パチンコ玉は、このアール状ガイド溝46の溝本体部の上方部分の2側面間の2点で接触して支えられた宙吊り状態のまま前記揚送ベルト15により搬送される。引き続き、パチンコ玉は、該アール状ガイド溝46に接続される前記ガイド部材11の導入部にまたがる導入ガイド溝36へと2点接触の宙吊り状態のまま搬送され、さらに下流側の研磨ガイド溝31へと搬送されるものである。なお、このアール状ガイド溝46及び導入ガイド溝36の前記溝本体部の形態は、パチンコ玉よりも小径に形成されるものでなくても、その底部がパチンコ玉に接触しないような副溝を形成したものでもよい。要は、パチンコ玉が前記したようにアール状ガイド溝46及び導入ガイド溝36の溝本体部の上方部分の2側面間において、2点接触で宙吊り状態に支持されるような形態のものであればよいものである。

このように、溝本体部の2側面間において2点で支えられた宙吊り状態のパチンコ玉は、揚送ベルト15により該アール状ガイド溝46及び導入ガイド溝36に案内されつつ搬送される際、パチンコ玉自体の転動による移送(中心軌跡)の速さは、揚送ベルト15の速さに対して相対的に遅い速さとなるものである。すなわち、パチンコ玉が溝本体の底部に接触して転動されつつ搬送される場合のパチンコ玉自体の速さよりも、前記したような宙吊り状態のパチンコ玉の転動による移送速さの方が、パチンコ玉の揚送ベルト15に接触する半径よりもパチンコ玉の転動接触半径が小さい分だけ遅くなるものである。
