【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、ＢＳデジタルテレビや地上波デジタルテレビにおいて、視聴者が容易に番組情報を得られるような番組情報提供システムに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来より、テレビの番組情報は、新聞、雑誌、あるいはインターネット上で確認することができる。また、ＢＳデジタルテレビおよびチューナにはＥＰＧ（Ｅｌｅｃｔｒｉｃ Ｐｒｏｇｒａｍ Ｇｕｉｄｅ）が搭載しており、リモコン操作によって情報取得、あるいは視聴予約や録画予約を行うことができる。図３はデジタル放送局側のデータ処理を示しており、音声符号化器１ａおよび映像符号化器１ｂによってＡＶ（Ａｕｄｉｏ Ｖｉｓｕａｌ）信号のストリーム化を行う。さらにデータ放送向けデータ１ｃとＰＳＩ（Ｐｒｏｇｒａｍ Ｓｐｅｃｉｆｉｃ Ｉｎｆｏｒｍａｔｉｏｎ）あるいはＰＳＩの拡張規格であるＳＩ（Ｓｅｒｖｉｃｅ Ｉｎｆｏｒｍａｔｉｏｎ）と呼ばれる番組情報１ｅをＭＵＸ（Ｍｕｌｔｉｐｌｅｘｅｒ）１ｆによって多重化し、１つの番組として伝送路１ｇに乗せる。図４はデジタル放送受信機の一例を示しており、受信した電波をチューナ２ａを介して復調部２ｂによってＴＳ（Ｔｒａｎｓｐｏｒｔ Ｓｔｒｅａｍ）とし、ＴＳからＴＳデコーダ２ｃによってコンテンツを構成する複数の信号を得る。ＡＶストリームはＡＶデコーダ２ｄによって復号され、番組情報データは番組情報管理２ｇによって番組情報データベース２ｈへ格納される。番組情報はブラウザ２ｊによっていつでも閲覧することが可能であり、復号されたビデオデータと合成して映像出力することも可能である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来のＥＰＧでは、多数のチャネル番組情報を限られた画面範囲内で表示する必要があるため、希望する番組を見つけるのが困難である。また、ＥＰＧには検索機能を持つものもあるが、映画やスポーツなど、固定キーワードによる検索しかできないため、本当にユーザが望む番組を的確に検索することは困難であり、検索結果をもとにユーザが探し出さなければならないという煩わしさがある。さらに、ＥＰＧデータは１週間あるいは２週間先まで、というように限られた期間までの情報しか取得することができない。加えて、番組数が膨大であるため、１番組あたりに対する情報量に乏しい。
本発明は、以上の問題を解決するため、ユーザの番組情報検索の手間を省くことができる番組情報提供装置およびシステムを提案するものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
（実施の形態１）
以下、本願発明の第１の実施形態について図面を参照して説明する。

図１は、本願発明に係る放送局側における番組伝送例を示す概略図である。放送局において番組を構成する際、音声は音声符号化器１ａによってＰＥＳとして符号化され、映像は映像符号化器１ｂによってＰＥＳとして符号化する。音声符号化器１ａで用いる符号化方式としてはＡＡＣ，ＡＣ−３などが挙げられる。また、映像符号化器１ｂで用いる符号化方式としてはＭＰＥＧ２，ＭＰＥＧ４などが挙げられる。ＢＳデジタルや地上波デジタル放送では番組に連動したデータ放送を送信することが可能であるが、検索用キーワード１ｄをデータ放送１ｃに付加する。検索用キーワード１ｄとしては、例えば放送番組に出演中の俳優や監督の名前、その他スタッフ情報などが挙げられる。番組を構成する映像、音声、データおよびＰＳＩ（１ｅ）はＭＵＸ（１ｆ）によって多重化し、伝送路１ｆを通して送られる。

図２は、本願発明に係る受信機側の構成例を示す概略図である。受信した電波はチューナ２ａを介し、復調部２ｂによってＴＳとして復調され、ＴＳからコンテンツを構成する各ストリームを抽出する。ＡＶストリームはＡＶデコーダ２ｄによって復号し、ＳＩからは番組情報を取得し、番組情報管理部２ｇによって番組情報データベース２ｈに格納する。番組情報はブラウザ２ｊによっていつでも閲覧することができる。データ放送はデータ処理部２ｅによってブラウザ表示することが可能である。また、番組連動データとして付加されている検索用キーワード２ｆは、番組情報管理部２ｇによってキーワードデータベース２ｉに登録する。
図１０は、番組連動型データ放送による検索キーワードをブラウザによって表示し、そのなかで所望のキーワードを選択する実例を示したものである。１０ａは受信中の番組映像であり、１０ｂは受信機の画面全体を示す。１０ｃは番組映像以外のデータ放送部分であり、キーワードを閲覧することができる。１０ｄのようにキーワードを選択すると、番組情報データベース２ｈに格納している放送予定の番組情報から、選択したキーワードに関連する番組情報だけを抽出する。例えば次回も視聴中の番組が見たいと思えばタイトルをキーワードとして検索すれば良いし、お気に入りの出演者がいる場合には、出演する他の番組を検索することも可能である。
図１１は登録済みのキーワード一覧を表示した例であり、番組連動データ放送時でなくとも、一覧から１１ｂのように選択して検索することも可能である。
図１２は、キーワード検索した結果を表示した例である。検索した結果からは、従来の番組情報と同様に、視聴予約あるいは録画予約と連動させることが可能である。
以上のように、本実施の形態によれば、多数のチャネル番組情報のなかから希望する番組を自分で見つける必要がなくなる。また、番組ごとに様々なキーワードを付加することによって検索の幅が広がり、所望の番組検索がしやすくなる。さらに、視聴中の番組から次の番組へと、連鎖的で気軽な視聴スタイルを提供することができるようになる。
（実施の形態２）
次に本願発明の第２の実施形態について図面を参照して説明する。

図９は、地上波デジタルにおける番組情報提供システム全体の構成例である。放送局１に関しては実施の形態１と同様である。放送局１から伝送される番組データは電波塔４によって各家庭のチューナ搭載受信機に送信される。図９では例として携帯型受信機２を示しているが、固定型受信機や内蔵型テレビジョン、あるいはパソコンであっても良い。なお、図９では地上波デジタルを例に挙げているが、衛星放送やケーブルテレビにおいても同様である。番組情報検索サーバ３は、放送とともに送られてくる番組情報よりも詳細なデータを管理するものであり、受信機２とは電話回線によって相互接続されている。

図５は、受信機側の構成例を示す概略図である。検索用キーワードを番組連動データ放送として受信視聴するまでは実施の形態１と同様である。実施の形態１では選択したキーワードをもとに、受信機内の番組情報データベース内で検索しているが、本発明では、選択したキーワードを外部通信手段２ｋによって番組情報検索装置に送信する。外部通信手段２ｋは電話回線であっても良いし、無線ＬＡＮやＡＤＳＬなどのブロードバンド接続であっても良い。

図６は、番組情報検索装置の一例を示す概略図である。受信機側から外部通信手段３ｂを介して送られたキーワードをもとに、番組情報管理部３ａによって番組情報詳細データベース３ｃからの検索を行う。得られた検索結果は、再び外部通信手段３ｂを介して受信機２に送られ、受信機側にて検索結果を閲覧することができる。番組情報検索装置は放送局に併設されていても良いし、別のサービス業者であっても良い。また、自宅のパソコンを利用することも考えられる。
以上のように、本実施の形態によれば、受信機内に格納された番組情報では得られないような詳細情報まで得ることができる。また、通常の番組情報では１〜２週間分と限られた範囲内でしか検索することができないが、放送局側で個々に用意することによって、さらに広範囲にわたる検索が可能になる。
（実施の形態３）
次に本願発明の第３の実施形態について図面を参照して説明する。

以上のように、本実施の形態によれば、ユーザが周期的に検索することなく、一度登録したキーワードに関連する番組情報をいつでも欠かさずに取得することができる。また、放送局側においても、番組の告知をユーザの嗜好に合わせて効果的に行うことができる。
（実施の形態４）
次に本願発明の第４の実施形態について説明する。

実施の形態１から実施の形態の構成に加えて、本実施の形態では、放送局側でデータ放送用データを作成する際に、キーワードとして現在出演中の人物名および役名をタイムスタンプに合わせてリアルタイムに表示する。これによって、従来の地上波放送のように登場時のみを字幕で紹介するのではなく、いつでも知りたいときに確認することができるようになる。また、ユーザが番組の途中から見始めたとしても、画面上の人物と役名をはっきりさせることができるため、映画やドラマのようなストーリーものであっても、途中からの視聴を促すことができる。
以上のように、本実施の形態によれば、番組中の気になる出演者に関する別の番組を検索することができるようになり、放送局側においても、新たな視聴層への拡張が期待できるようになる。
