この発明は、逆さにしたときに封筒内から内容物が落下することを防止する封筒であり、特に銀行の窓口で配布されたり、キャッシュコーナーに備え付けられたりして現金が入れられる内蓋付封筒に関する。

【従来の技術】
銀行の窓口やキャッシュコーナーでは、受け取った現金を入れて持ち帰るための封筒を準備、配布しており、従来、この種の封筒としては一枚の外蓋のみを備えた通常の封筒が用いられている。

【発明により解決しようとする課題】
銀行の窓口で配布されたり、キャッシュコーナーに備え付けられたりする一枚の外蓋のみを備えた通常の封筒は、単に外蓋を折り返しただけで、テープ等で封止していない状態で逆さまにすると、内部の現金や取引明細書等の書類が脱落、落下することがあった。特に、札の枚数が多かったり、硬貨が入っていたりするときは落下しやすく問題であった。

この発明は、封筒を構成する表紙の上縁部、裏紙の上縁部の一方に外蓋を連設し、他方に内蓋を連設して内蓋と外蓋とを互い違いに折り返して封止することができるようにして、さらに、封筒の表面に名刺等を挿入できる透明窓付のカードホルダーを備えた封筒によって前記問題点を解決したのである。
