上記課題を解決するために、本発明においては、つぎのような技術的手段を講じている。すなわち、本発明によれば、シンクの前側フランジ部と後側フランジ部とに架設される調理屑を収納する容器であって、該容器は、平面視略コの字型の縁部を有するとともに、この縁部に連なる側面がテーパ状とされた左右別体のホッパー部からなり、該左ホッパー部の縁部と右ホッパー部の縁部とは前側軸心と後側軸心とで軸着されて平面視略長方形の開口縁を形成し、下部で左右合同して側断面視略V字型の底部を形成し、かつ、この底部が開閉自在とされた調理屑収納容器が提供される。このようにすることにより、システムキッチン等のシンクに後付け可能であり、野菜、魚等の調理屑を手間をかけずに収納できるとともに、調理屑が溜まれば、開閉自在とされた底部を開いて、簡単に生ゴミとして廃棄することができる。
