赤外線リモコン送信器を筐体表面のスイッチ操作部(2)周囲のコマンド表示が読める状態に保持して正面に見た時、スイッチ操作部(2)を間に挟んで赤外線発光素子(1)を筐体の上下に2箇所、独立して設置する。
又、これら2箇所の赤外線発光素子(1)は、互いに異なる方向を向けて設置する。
2箇所の赤外線発光素子(1)は同一の赤外線信号を発するものとする。
そうすると、コマンド表示が読める状態に赤外線リモコン送信機を保持している時、水平に保持している場合は、受光部を持つ操作対象が前後どちらにあっても操作可能となり、同様に、縦に保持している場合は、操作対象が上下どちらにあっても操作可能となる。
