Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
According to the present invention, a relay node detects a radio link abnormality such as congestion using SNMP, and establishes a TCP / IP protocol between terminal terminals performing TCP / IP communication via a radio link in which the abnormality is detected. The present invention relates to a packet communication system, a packet communication method, and a protocol conversion device for converting a control method to notify the user, preventing a failure beforehand, and preventing expansion.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in TCP / IP, which is a type of communication protocol, a router uses a congestion information notification function (ECN: Explicit Congestion Notification) to explicitly notify a congestion state of a network from a relay node such as a router to an end node. -Provides a mechanism for explicitly notifying nodes of the network congestion state and suppressing an increase in network communication load.
[0003]
In addition, as a loss information notification function (ELN: Explicit Loss Notification), the characteristics of the radio link can be used to confirm that a loss has occurred due to a reason other than congestion, such as a momentary packet loss occurring during communication due to the communication environment of the receiving side. A mechanism is also provided for notifying the transmitting node and suppressing a decrease in the window size.
[0004]
In each of the above two protocol control methods, the relay node individually makes a judgment according to the node status (the number of packets waiting to be transferred, etc.) and performs a protocol control process on the passing packet.
[0005]
In network monitoring, network management information can be referred to by a defined message format between devices that implement SNMP. It is also possible to obtain network management information corresponding to the mobile IP in the mobile communication network, and it is possible to monitor wireless link information in the mobile communication network for each mobile terminal.

[0011]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, according to the above-described conventional method, there is a problem that the TCP / IP congestion state notification function and the protocol control function of the ELN function cannot be effectively controlled unless they are implemented in the wireless relay node device. On the other hand, if the control function is assigned to the wireless relay node device every time the control method increases or expands, the load on the wireless relay node device may increase.
[0012]
Further, in the conventional method, since the network status is determined for each wireless relay node according to the processing capability of the wireless relay node, the determination criteria are not unified, and stable operation may be difficult. . Also, providing the network management information directly outside the mobile communication network by SNMP during network monitoring causes leakage of useful information of the wireless relay node device, which is difficult in security.
[0013]
Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above points, without increasing the processing load on a wireless relay node, without leaking useful information in a mobile communication network to the outside, and congestion of packets. It is an object of the present invention to provide a packet communication system, a packet communication method, and a protocol conversion device capable of reducing a network communication load caused by the communication.
[0014]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention, when sequentially transferring packets from the wireless terminal device on the network, monitors the state of the packet transmitted and received to the wireless terminal device, based on this monitoring report, The communication state on the network is managed, and the protocol is controlled for packets transmitted and received on the network according to the management.
[0015]
According to the present invention as described above, the link to the wireless terminal device is monitored, and the protocol of the packet transmitted and received on the network is controlled according to the reception state of the wireless terminal device. Can be avoided. In addition, since network monitoring can be performed in the mobile communication network, it is possible to prevent useful information of the wireless relay node device from leaking to an external network.
[0016]
In particular, when a device for monitoring the network and controlling the protocol is provided in a device other than the wireless relay node, for example, an SNMP-protocol conversion manager device or a protocol control agent device, the processing capability of the wireless relay node is reduced. Regardless, the network can be monitored based on the unified judgment criteria, and stable network operation is realized.
[0017]
In the above invention, it is possible to detect the packet loss in the wireless link and report the wireless link packet loss information by a trap message that is issued irregularly. In addition, a plurality of reports are collected and accumulated to generate network management information. Based on the network management information, a network communication status is determined, a radio link abnormality is detected, and a route on the detected location is detected. An instruction of protocol control can be given to a passing packet.
[0018]
In this case, whether the increase in the communication load of the network is due to congestion or an instantaneous packet loss caused by the communication environment of the receiving side based on the characteristics of the wireless link depends on the cause of the occurrence. , Protocol processing becomes possible.

The protocol control system according to the present embodiment having the configuration described above operates as follows.
[0073]
(1) MIB request processing
First, as shown in FIG. 16, when the SNMP-protocol conversion manager device 7 is started (S101), setting information such as a monitoring target base station and a monitoring interval is acquired (S102). Specifically, the
[0074]
Next, it is determined whether or not the acquisition of the setting information is successful (S103). If the acquisition is successful, the MIB request function is called, and the timer is set to start after the monitoring interval (S104). If it is determined that it has not succeeded, the SNMP-protocol conversion manager device is stopped.
[0075]
On the other hand, the MIB request function started in step S104 creates and sends GetRequest messages for the number of monitored base stations in which collected MIB objects are set (S201 to S203). After that, the MIB request function call timer is set to be activated after the monitoring interval, and the process ends (S204 and S205).
[0076]
(2) MIB result processing
The wireless relay node of the monitored base station that has received the GetRequest message transmitted in (1) above returns a response message. The returned message is received by the
[0077]
On the other hand, if the received message is in the normal format or the event format in step S302, the type of the base station is analyzed (S303), and it is determined whether a predetermined parameter is included in the header or footer (S305). ). If it is determined that the predetermined parameter is not included, the process proceeds to step S311. If it is determined that the predetermined parameter is included, the base station type is notified to the MIB request function (S306), and the base station is transmitted from the MIB request function. The station name is acquired (S307), and it is determined whether or not the base station name exists (S308).
[0078]
If it is determined in step S308 that there is no base station, the request is processed as an unregistered request (S309), the packet is discarded (S310), and the reception of the next message is waited (S315).
[0079]
If it is determined in step S308 that the base station name exists, MIB information is extracted (S311), the base station name is added and output to the MIB information processing function (S312), and a predetermined table is created. When the completion is received (S313), the protocol control function is called (S314), and the system waits for the next message (S315).

The MIB
[0081]
More specifically, as shown in FIG. 18, when MIB information is received from the MIB result function (S410), the interface information table is searched by the base station name (S402), and it is determined whether or not there is a base station name. (S403).
[0082]
In step S403, if it is determined that there is a base station name, the process proceeds to step S406. If it is determined that there is no base station name, distribution is performed to the interface information table (S404). The value is distributed (S405), and the value is stored in the interface information table (S406).
[0083]
Next, it is determined whether there is one piece of IP address information (S407). If there is one, the IP address information is stored in the interface information table (S410). If it is determined in step S407 that the IP address information is not one, NULL data is stored in the interface information table (S408), and the IP address information is stored in the connection information table (S409).
[0084]
Next, it is determined whether or not there is insufficient information (S411). If it is determined that there is unexpected information, an acquired information illegal warning process is performed (S412). Thereafter, a reply is sent to the MIB result function (S413).
[0085]

If it is determined in this step S502 that Trap information is present, a protocol control instruction corresponding to the generated Trap is notified to the protocol control instruction function 733 (S503). Specifically, an instruction to detect a wireless link packet loss event is sent to the protocol control instruction function, and the wireless loss occurrence bit of the Status flag is turned ON.
[0087]
On the other hand, if it is determined in step S502 that no Trap information exists, network congestion is detected (S504). If congestion is detected as a result, a protocol control instruction for network congestion is sent to the protocol

That is, when a packet addressed to another terminal is received (S701), it is determined whether the destination IP address matches the congestion control target IP address (S702). If they match, the type of the packet is determined, and if it is TCP, the TCP congestion control function is called (S704). On the other hand, if it is determined in step S703 that the packet is a packet other than TCP, the process ends.
[0095]
On the other hand, if it is determined in step S702 that the destination IP address matches the congestion control target IP address, it is determined whether or not the packet matches the wireless link loss control target list (S801). If they do not match, the process ends. If it is determined in step S801 that they match, the type of the packet is determined, and if the type is TCP, the TCP wireless loss notification ELN function is called (S802). On the other hand, if it is determined in step S802 that the packet is a packet other than TCP, the process ends.

(7) Processing when receiving duplicate Ack packets
When the TCP wireless loss
[0097]
More specifically, as shown in FIG. 23, when a wireless loss control Ack packet is received (S1001), it is determined whether or not the packet is an overlapping Ack (S1002). It is determined whether or not the ELN is being executed. If the ELN is being executed, the ELN bit is turned on. If it is determined that the state is the ELN preparation, the ELN is being executed (S1010), and the ELN bit is set. It is turned ON (S1011).
[0098]
On the other hand, if it is determined in step S1002 that the state is not the duplicate Ack, it is determined whether the state is in preparation for ELN. If it is determined that the state is in preparation, the process proceeds to step S1007 to execute When it is determined that there is, the countdown of the number of wireless losses is performed (S1004), and the ELN is being prepared (S1005). Next, the last pass sequence number is set to this packet sequence number (S1006).
[0099]
Next, in S1007, it is determined whether or not the wireless loss number is 1 or more. If the wireless loss number is 1 or more, the process ends as it is. If it is less than 1, the device waits for ELN (the target connection is deleted from the list). The process ends (S1008).

(Effect)
As described above, according to the system and the method according to the embodiment, the event of the radio link abnormality such as the congestion detected between the radio relay node device and the SNMP manager device is transmitted to the protocol control device using the protocol control instruction message. And that the protocol control device can implement the reflection of the network management information in the TCP / IP congestion control in the distributed environment by operating the packet in accordance with the TCP / IP protocol control method for the terminal transmitting / receiving terminal. can do.
[0101]
Also, since it is not permitted to directly refer to the MIB information of the wireless relay node device from the terminal terminal, it is possible to prevent leakage of important information of the wireless relay node device.
[0102]
Note that it is conceivable to directly implement the protocol control function in the wireless relay node. In this case, if the load is concentrated on the wireless relay node device and there is a difference between the capabilities of the wireless relay node device, the There was a problem that a difference occurred in the detection of link anomalies. However, network information was centrally managed to enable unified detection of wireless link anomalies due to device-specific differences. Even when a control method is added due to the extension of the / IP protocol, it is possible to prevent the load on the wireless relay node device from increasing.
[0103]
【The invention's effect】
According to the packet communication system, the packet communication method, and the protocol conversion device of the present invention, packet congestion can be achieved without increasing the processing load on the wireless relay node and without leaking useful information in the mobile communication network to the outside. And so on can reduce the network communication load.
