本発明は、通信ケーブル、特に光ファイバ心線を有する光ファイバケーブル(以下光ケーブル)の配線区間において、固定配線区画の配線点や、屋外から屋内に引き込まれる光ケーブルのケーブル接続点における接続並びに架空ケーブルや地下ケーブルなどの光ケーブルと、分岐光ファイバケーブルの接続のために用いられる光ケーブル接続用キャビネットにおいて、光ケーブルを取り扱い簡単で容易に把持できるようにし、光ケーブルの接続部や心線余長をも保護して安全に用いられる光ケーブル接続用キャビネット、特にその光ケーブル接続箱に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来より、光ケーブルの分岐、引込、接続などを行う場合、光ケーブル接続用キャビネット内においてケーブル心線相互を接続すると共に、光ケーブルの導出入部では、光ケーブル把持部が設けられ、この光ケーブル把持部は多数の光ケーブルを狭い間隔で簡単に把持できるようにすることが要請されている。
そして、光ケーブルを簡単に把持するには、ケーブル導入部に溝を形成して、この溝の中にケーブルを押し込んで把持する構造にすることが知られていて、このタイプの光ケーブル把持部としては、溝内に対向する壁面に交互に突起を形成して、ケーブルを蛇行させて把持するものや、溝に押し込んだケーブルに弾性片を押しつけて把持したり、溝内にクランプを圧入して把持したりするものなどの手段が用いられている。〔特願平9−127852号参照〕

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、この種の光ケーブル把持具では、溝の中でケーブルを蛇行させて把持する構造は、蛇行回数を多くしなければ十分な把持力を得ることが難しく、蛇行回数を多くしたりすると光ケーブルファイバの損失増加が発生しやすいという問題がある。また溝のなかでケーブルに弾性片を押しつけて把持したり、また挟持部材を押し込んだりして把持するする構造は、弾性片やまた挟持部材を確実に圧入しなければ同様に十分な把持力を得ることが難しく、ケーブルが引き抜けやすいという問題があり、またユーザ系の業者ごとの仕分使用が難しく既設設備の効率的な使用や有効利用並びに経済的利用が要請されている。
本発明は、これら従来の事情に鑑みてなされたものであり、光ケーブルの伝送特性に悪影響を与えることなく、光ケーブルの接続や切り替え或いは分岐接続作業や再収納作業が容易に実施でき、心線ごとの収納や整理のほか心線ごとの増減が簡単にでき、しかも増設も楽でケーブルを安全に収納することができ、光ケーブル把持に際して光コネクタ接続箱を用いてケーブルをしっかりと保持することができ、しかも光ケーブル接続の仕分使用をも簡単に可能にして取扱い簡便な光ケーブル接続用キャビネットを安価な形態で提供することを目的とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明に係る光ケーブル接続用キャビネットは、光ケーブル接続箱のケーブル導入口に、光ケーブル接続箱から張り出し、光ケーブルを接続した光コネクタを収納するスペースを有する防護カバーと、該光コネクタを取り付けるアダプタベース板とを備えた光コネクタ接続箱を着脱自在に連結したことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の実施例を図面を用いて説明すると、図1は光ケーブル接続箱Aのケーブル導入口1に光コネクタ接続箱Bを着脱自在に連結した本発明の光ケーブル接続用キャビネットの一例を示す。図1において、光ケーブル接続箱Aのケーブル導入口1に、光ケーブル接続箱Aから張り出し、光ケーブルCを接続した光コネクタ2を収納するスペース3を有する防護カバー4と、該光コネクタ2を取り付けるアダプタベース板5とを備えた光コネクタ接続箱Bを着脱自在に連結してある。
前記光ケーブル把持部を形成する光コネクタ2は、前記光コネクタ接続箱B内の接続アダプタ6の片側に終端され、該接続アダプタ6の終端他端を光コネクタ接続箱Bの外面に露出して光ケーブル接続箱Aの光ケーブルCに接続されている。
