本発明は、テーブル等に着脱可能に取付けられ、幼児用椅子として使用するテーブルチェアに関するものである。

この種テーブルチェアに、フレーム本体の腕曲部のほぼ中央を切断して二分し、その二分した端部を片面側へのみ折畳むことができるようにストッパーを設けたヒンジで連結し、このヒンジを中心としてフレームを水平方向に折畳むようにして、ベビーチェア全体をフレーム本体の約2分の1の内面に収めるようにしたものがある(例えば、特許文献1参照)。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記のようなベビーチェアにおいては、本体フレームをヒンジを中心に水平軸方向に折畳むことにより、幅方向には約2分の1の大きさに収めることができるが、長手方向には筒部や下腕部がそのままの状態のため折畳んでも細長くなり、不使用時の収納や携帯にあたり不便であった。
また、従来のテーブルチェアは、テーブル等と座席との高さ関係が常に一定のため、座席に座った幼児の大きさによってテーブル等が幼児の腕より上方に位置したり下方に位置したりして使い勝手が悪いという問題があった。

本発明は、上記の課題を解決するためになされたもので、幼児の大きさに合わせて座席の高さを調整することのできるテーブルチェアを提供することを目的としたものである。
また、本発明は、よりコンパクトに折畳むことができて収納や携帯に便利なテーブルチェアを提供することを目的としたものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
(1)本発明に係るテーブルチェアは、座席が支持された座席支持枠と、該座席支持枠と連結されテーブル等に装着される支持部とからなり、前記支持部に対して座席の高さを調整する高さ調整手段を設けたものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
[実施の形態1]
図1は本発明の実施の形態1に係るテーブルチェアの斜視図、図2は図1の座席を取外した状態を示す斜視図である。
テーブルチェア1において、2は金属パイプをほぼU字状に折曲げてなる座席支持枠で、その両端部には座席支持枠2の内径とほぼ等しい外径の金属パイプからなるほぼL字状の連結アーム3が着脱かつ回動可能に装着されている。

この連結アーム3の水平軸31の先端部内には、図3に示すように、付勢手段であるU字状の板ばね33が配設されており、水平軸31を座席支持枠2の端部から挿入すると、板ばね33の一端に設けたプッシュボタン34が板ばね33に付勢され、座席支持枠2に設けた長穴21(図2参照)から突出して係止するようになっている。そして、連結アーム3をその水平軸31を軸に回動したときは、長穴21によりその回動範囲が規制され、また、プッシュボタン34を押圧して長穴21への係止を解除することにより、連結アーム3を座席支持枠2から抜き出すことができる。

次に、上記のように構成した本実施の形態の作用を説明する。なお、座席支持枠2に支持部5が連結されたテーブルチェア1は図1に示す状態に組立てられて座席7が取付けられており、また、支持部5に設けた調整部63の調整つまみ65は下方に位置しているものとする。

先ず、図4に示すように、テーブルTの下面に下フレーム51の第2の折曲げ部54を位置させ、上面に上フレーム60を位置させて、前面側又は側方からテーブルTに押込む。これにより、両者に設けたキャップ57,61がテーブルTを挾持する。ついで、調整部63の調整つまみ65を回転して上昇させてテーブルTの下面に当接させ、調整つまみ65を調整することによりテーブルチェア1をほぼ水平にする。これにより、テーブルチェア1は各一対の支持部5の第2の折曲げ部54、上フレーム60及び調整部63でテーブルTを挾持し、ほぼ水平に保持される。

このように、本実施の形態によれば、高さ調整手段の簡単な操作により幼児の体格(大きさ)に応じて座席7の位置(高さ)を調整することができるので、きわめて便利である。

次に、収納や携帯等のためテーブルチェア1を折畳む場合は、先ず、連結アーム3の垂直軸32に設けたプッシュボタン36を押圧し、係止穴55から外してフリー状態にする。ついで、図5(a),(b)に示すように、支持部5を連結アーム3の垂直軸32を軸にして外側から後方にほぼ180°回転させ、プッシュボタン36を係止穴56に係止させてその位置に保持する。

このように、本実施の形態によれば、簡単な操作でテーブルチェア1をコンパクトに折畳みできるので、収納や携帯にきわめて便利である。

図7は本発明の実施の形態2に係るテーブルチェアの一部を省略した斜視図、図8は図7の要部の斜視図である。なお、実施の形態1と同じ部分はこれと同じ符号を付し、説明を省略する。
図において、8は樹脂成形品からなる高さ調整手段を構成する連結部材で、所定の間隔を隔てて上下方向に円形断面の挿通穴81a,81bが並設されて平面眼鏡状に形成されており、一方の挿通穴81aの上下方向には、所定の間隔で複数の係止穴82が設けられている。83は最下部の係止穴82の反対側に設けられた係止穴である。

本実施の形態は、支持部5を構成する下フレーム51の第1の折曲げ部53の上端部を、水平部52側にこれとほぼ平行に折曲げて上フレーム60を形成し、第1の折曲げ部53の連結部22に当接する面の上下方向に、図10に示すように、例えばナットをインサートするなどして、連結アーム3の垂直軸32のねじ挿通穴23に対応した間隔で高さ調整手段を構成する2つのねじ穴53aを設けたものである。なお、連結アーム3に代えて、座席支持枠2の両端部を下方にほぼ垂直に折曲げて連結部22を形成し、この連結部22の上下方向に、図10に示すように所定の間隔で高さ調整手段を構成する複数のねじ挿通穴23を設けてもよい。また、上フレーム60は下フレーム51の第1の折曲げ部53に溶接接合してもよい。さらに、第1の折曲げ部53に2つのねじ穴53aを設けた場合を示したが、このねじ穴53aは1つでもよく、3つ以上設けてもよい。

実施の形態1〜4では、幼児の大きさ応じて機械的手段により座席7の高さを調整する場合を示したが、本実施の形態においては、座席7を上下方向に移動することなく、芯材を有する複数の座布団(例えば、厚さ25mm)を1セット(例えば、3枚)用意し、幼児の大きさに応じて座布団の数を増減し、座面の高さを調整するようにしたものである。
本実施の形態によれば、テーブルチェア1に手を加えないので、従来のテーブルチェアにも容易に実施することができる。
