Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a head of a screw part, a plastic working tool for forming the head, and a fastening tool.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Generally, the head of the screw component is roughly classified into a type having a hole into which a fastening tool is inserted, and a type into which the fastening tool is fitted from the outer wall surface side of the head. Representative examples of the former include a cross-shaped head and a hexagonal-shaped head. A typical example of the latter is a hexagonal head (for example, see Non-Patent Document 1).
[0003]
For a type having a hole into which a fastening tool is inserted, such as a head having a cross-shaped hole, a side wall surface of the hole is inclined so that the area of the hole becomes smaller toward the bottom of the hole, and a hexagonal hole. Like a head and a hexalobular hole, the side wall surface of the hole is roughly divided into those parallel to the axis.
[0004]
In the former case, the fastening tool such as a screwdriver also usually has a sharpened tip (a shape having an inclined surface whose inclination angle is smaller than the inclined surface of the hole). When pressed into the hole of the part, the tip of the fastening tool and the hole in the head are fitted. Therefore, there is an advantage that the screw component can be prevented from dropping from the tip of the fastening tool even if the screw component is not pressed. On the other hand, at the time of fastening, there is a so-called "cam-out" defect because of the structure in which a component force is generated in the direction in which the tip of the fastening tool is pulled out from the hole of the head with respect to the tip of the fastening tool.
[0005]
On the other hand, in the latter case, at the time of fastening, since there is no component force in the direction in which the tip of the fastening tool is pulled out from the hole in the head, there is no problem of "cam out" There are advantages. On the other hand, since the tip of the fastening tool and the hole in the head are only loosely fitted, if the screw is not pressed, the screw will fall from the tip of the fastening tool, resulting in poor workability. There are drawbacks.
[0006]
In addition, in the case of a type in which a fastening tool is fitted from the outer wall side of the head, apart from a tool having a function of adjusting a holding width on the fastening tool side such as a monkey wrench, a fastening tool such as a general spanner is used. Is used, the fastening tool and the head are structured to be loosely fitted. Therefore, if the screw component is not pressed, there is a disadvantage that the screw component falls from the tip of the fastening tool and the workability is poor.

[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
From the viewpoint of improving workability, it is desired that the screw component does not drop from the fastening tool even if the screw component is not pressed. To realize this, it is conceivable to provide a special mechanism for the fastening tool as described above, but it is desired that the screw component can be prevented from falling even when a normal fastening tool is used.
[0009]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a head capable of attaching a screw component to a fastening tool, a plastic working tool forming such a head, and a fastening tool suitable for such a head. Is to do.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention employs the following means in order to solve the above problems.
[0011]
That is, the head is provided with a projection that comes into contact with the fastening tool, and the screw component is attached to the fastening tool by utilizing the contact force of the projection.
[0012]
Specifically, in the case of the “head having a hole into which a fastening tool is inserted”, a configuration including a projection on a side wall surface of the hole is employed. In the case of "the head having an outer wall surface on which the fastening tool is loosely fitted", a configuration having a projection on the outer wall surface was adopted.
[0013]
Hereinafter, each case will be described in order.
[0014]
In the case of the “head having a hole into which the fastening tool is inserted”, when the tip of the fastening tool is inserted into the hole of the head, a protrusion provided on the side wall surface of the hole and an opposing surface (a hole facing the protrusion) are formed. Of the fastening tool, or another projection provided on the sidewall of the hole) sandwiches the tip of the fastening tool. Thereby, the screw component is attached to the tip of the fastening tool.
[0015]
Here, the hole provided in the head is not only a hexagonal hole head or a hexalobular hole, but also a hole whose side wall surface is not inclined with respect to the axis, or a hole with a cross hole, such as a cross-shaped head. Also included are those in which the side wall surface of the hole is inclined so that the area of the hole becomes smaller as it approaches.
[0016]
In the former case, generally, the tip of the fastening tool and the hole are loosely fitted (there is a gap (clearance) between the fitted one and the fitted one), and the tip of the fastening tool is inserted into the hole. Even when inserted, the screw component does not adhere to the tip of the fastening tool. By applying the projection of the present invention to the head having such a hole, a function of attaching a screw component to the tip of the fastening tool is exhibited.
[0017]
On the other hand, in the latter case, generally, the tip of the fastening tool and the hole are fitted together, and when the tip of the fastening tool is inserted into the hole, the screw component adheres to the tip of the fastening tool. By applying the projection of the present invention to the head having such a hole, the function of increasing the adhesive force for attaching the screw component to the tip of the fastening tool is exhibited.
[0018]
Next, in the case of "the head having an outer wall surface on which the fastening tool is loosely fitted", when the fastening tool is loosely fitted on the head, the projection provided on the outer wall surface of the head is loosened. Since it comes into contact with the fitting wall surface, a fitting force is generated. Thereby, the screw component is attached to the tip of the fastening tool. In addition, the "free fit" in the "head having an outer wall surface to which the fastening tool is loosely fitted" means a state before the above-mentioned "projection" comes into contact and a fitting force is generated.
[0019]
In addition, the above-mentioned “projection” is such that as the insertion amount (fitting amount or pushing amount) of the fastening tool into the head increases, the contact force of the projection against the fastening tool gradually increases, and the threaded component is screwed into the fastening tool. It is preferable that the adhesive force is gradually increased. With this configuration, when inserting (fitting) the fastening tool into the head, the screw component can be attached to the fastening tool without applying excessive force to the user.
[0020]
As a configuration for realizing this, in the case of the “head having a hole into which the fastening tool is inserted”, the distance between the projection and the opposing surface facing the projection is gradually reduced as the projection moves in the insertion direction of the fastening tool. What is necessary is just to have the inclined surface which does. Thus, as the fastening tool is inserted, the distance between the projection and the opposing surface gradually decreases, so that the force for pinching the tip of the fastening tool gradually increases.
[0021]
Further, in the case of the “head having an outer wall surface on which the fastening tool is loosely fitted”, the head may have an inclined surface that gradually goes away from the axis of the screw as it goes in the insertion direction of the fastening tool. Thus, as the fastening tool is inserted, the amount of pushing into the fastening tool gradually increases, so that the contact force on the fastening tool gradually increases.
[0022]
Here, in the case of "the head having a hole into which the fastening tool is inserted" and in the case of the "head having the outer wall surface into which the fastening tool is loosely fitted", the above-mentioned "inclined surface" has a flat surface. Included are any of inclined planes, tapered planes, spherical planes, and similar planes.
[0023]
Further, in the above-mentioned projection, when a force is applied only in the rotation direction on the fastening side by the fastening tool (when the force in the insertion (pushing) direction by the fastening tool is ignored), the contact force of the projection with respect to the fastening tool is reduced. It is preferable to be provided at a position where That is, the abutting force of the projection on the fastening tool is necessary for attaching the screw component to the fastening tool before the screw component is carried to the fastening portion, and after the fastening operation by the fastening tool is started. Is unnecessary. On the other hand, when the projection comes into contact with the fastening tool, stress tends to concentrate on the contact portion with the projection. Therefore, the stress concentration generated at the projection portion at the time of fastening is an unfavorable phenomenon on both the fastening tool side and the screw component side. Therefore, as described above, the projection is preferably provided at a position where the abutment force of the projection against the fastening tool is reduced at the time of fastening by the fastening tool, so that stress concentration can be reduced, which is preferable.
[0024]
Further, the hole or the head described so far can be formed by a plastic working tool, and it is preferable to form the above-described protrusion simultaneously with the formation of the hole or the outer wall surface. Thereby, simple processing is sufficient.
[0025]
Further, in the fastening tool for the “head having a hole into which the fastening tool is inserted”, the tip of the fastening tool inserted into the hole of the head has a recess in which a projection provided on a side wall surface of the hole of the head fits. Then, it is preferable.
[0026]
Thereby, the insertion depth of the fastening tool can be made deeper as compared with the case where there is no concave portion. In addition, a sufficient contact area between the projection and the concave portion can be secured. From these facts, it is possible to increase the adhesion of the projection to the tip of the fastening tool.
[0027]
Similarly, in the fastening tool for the “head having an outer wall surface on which the fastening tool is loosely fitted”, the projection provided on the outer wall surface of the head fits into the inner wall surface of the hole that loosely fits on the head of the fastening tool. It is preferable to have a recess.
[0028]
Thereby, the insertion depth of the fastening tool can be made deeper as compared with the case where there is no concave portion. In addition, a sufficient contact area between the projection and the concave portion can be secured. From these facts, it is possible to increase the adhesion of the projection to the tip of the fastening tool.
[0029]
The recess provided in the fastening tool for the “head having a hole into which the fastening tool is inserted” and the recess provided in the fastening tool for the “head having an outer wall surface into which the fastening tool is loosely fitted” are projections provided on the head. It is preferable that the shape is in accordance with the shape of. In this case, since the projections are firmly fitted into the recesses, the adhesion of the projections to the fastening tool tip can be sufficiently increased.
[0030]
However, the shape of the recess is not limited as long as it serves to increase the adhesion of the projection to the tip of the fastening tool as compared with the case where no recess is provided. For example, when the projection has an inclined surface, if the concave portion is provided with an inclined surface inclined in the same direction as the inclined surface, the object is achieved even if the shapes of these inclined surfaces are different. I do.
[0031]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be illustratively described in detail below with reference to the drawings. However, the dimensions, materials, shapes, relative arrangements, and the like of the components described in this embodiment are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention thereto unless otherwise specified. Absent.
[0032]
Further, the head according to the present embodiment described below constitutes a part of various screw parts (male screw parts), but the type of the screw parts is not limited. For example, the present invention is applicable to bolts, small screws, tapping screws, and the like. In addition, various known techniques can be applied to the screw part except the head in the configuration of the screw part, and the description thereof is omitted.

(First Embodiment)
A head, a plastic working tool, and a fastening tool according to a first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the head according to the first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a front view of the head according to the first embodiment of the present invention (a part of the screw portion is indicated by a dotted line). FIG. 3 is a top view of a hole provided in the head according to the first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 4 is a sectional view taken along the line AA in FIG. FIG. 5 is a sectional view taken along the line BB in FIG. FIG. 6 is a sectional view showing a state where the fastening tool is inserted in FIG. FIG. 7 is a perspective view of a plastic working tool for forming a hole provided in the head according to the first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 8 is a partially enlarged front view of the plastic working tool shown in FIG. FIG. 9 is a perspective view of the tip of a fastening tool suitably used for the head according to the first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 10 is a comparative explanatory diagram of a case where a general fastening tool is used and a case where the fastening tool shown in FIG. 9 is used.
[0034]
In the present embodiment, a head with a hexalobular hole will be described as an example of the head.
[0035]
As shown in FIG. 1, a

The fastening tool for fastening a screw component having such a head is a well-known technique, and therefore detailed description is omitted. However, generally, the tip is configured to be loosely fitted into a hexalobular hole. .
[0038]
That is, the sectional shape perpendicular to the axis is similar to the sectional shape perpendicular to the axis of the hexalobular hole (a shape formed by six earlobe-shaped curves), and is a shape reduced by the clearance. . The outer wall surface is formed of a surface that is not inclined with respect to the axis.
[0039]
When the tip of the fastening tool configured as described above is inserted into a general hexalobular hole, the tool tip and the hexalobular hole are loosely fitted. That is, the outer wall surface of the tool tip and the inner wall surface of the hexalobular hole fit with some gap. As described above, since they are only loosely fitted, no fitting force is generated between the tool tip and the hexalobular hole. Therefore, if the screw component is not held down, the screw component will fall off from the tool tip, so that there is a drawback that workability is poor especially when the screw component is fastened to a narrow place or the like.

It goes without saying that the same function can be exerted on surfaces similar to these.
[0058]
In addition, as a basic shape of the head, a case of a further head has been described as an example, but it is needless to say that the present invention is not limited to this and various shapes can be adopted.
[0059]
In addition, as an example of a hole formed in the head, a hexalobular hole has been described. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and holes having various shapes can be employed. However, the hole formed in the head can be a hexagonal hole, such as a hexalobular hole, in which the side wall surface of the hole is not inclined with respect to the axis (a hexagonal hole as a typical example other than a hexalobular hole). In addition, the side wall surface of the hole is broadly divided so that the area of the hole becomes smaller toward the bottom of the hole.
[0060]
In the former case, the tip of the fastening tool and the hole of the head are not originally designed to fit each other, but by applying the projection of the present embodiment, the tip of the fastening tool and the head are The excellent effect that the holes are fitted is exhibited. In other words, there is an effect that the attachment function is exhibited while the screw component originally did not have the function of attaching to the fastening tool.
[0061]
On the other hand, in the latter case, since the tip of the fastening tool and the hole of the head are originally fitted, the fitting force is reduced when the projection of the present embodiment is applied to such a head. The effect of increasing is exerted. In other words, originally, there was a function of attaching the screw component to the fastening tool, but a function of increasing the adhesive force is exhibited.

As described above, when the projection of the present embodiment is applied to both, there are differences in the functions and effects.

(Third embodiment)
A head, a plastic working tool, and a fastening tool according to a third embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 14 is a perspective view of a head according to the third embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 15 is a front view of the head according to the third embodiment of the present invention (a part of the screw portion is indicated by a dotted line). FIG. 16 is a top view of the head according to the third embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 17 is an explanatory diagram illustrating a state in which a fastening tool is fitted into the head according to the third embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 18 is a perspective view of a plastic working tool forming a head according to the third embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 19 is a perspective view of the tip of a fastening tool suitably used for the head according to the third embodiment of the present invention.

When the hole provided in the fastening tool configured as described above is fitted into a general hexalobular head, the hole and the hexalobular head are loosely fitted. In other words, the inner peripheral wall surface of this hole and the outer wall surface of the hexalobular head are fitted with some gap. As described above, since they are only loosely fitted, no fitting force is generated between the hole provided in the tool and the hexalobular head. Therefore, if the screw component is not held down, the screw component will fall off from the tool tip, so that there is a drawback that workability is poor especially when the screw component is fastened to a narrow place or the like.
